The garlic mashed potatoes are very garlic-y!! Good salmon, good mac n cheese with bacon, tho maybe a little pricey given the cafeteria-like seating. It was kinda chilly/drafty but I always feel that way. Nice server. Wine selection was ok, other alcohol too, lots of choices, so many in fact the menu takes a few minutes to fully read and decide.

The waitstaff was nice but very slow. The only time we saw them was at ordering, dropping off the order, and bringing the check. They didn't stop to make sure everything was okay or we needed anything. I sat without a drink for around 20 minutes. I thought the food tasted okay but then I got sick in the middle of the night. I can't say for sure it was them but I can't say for sure that it wasn't them. Just being honest!

Food was great... server tried to be pleasant but obviously was out of her element not being behind the bar. She was inattentive and was not quick about anything. We had to ask for everything..clean table... drinks...order...2nd order of free fires that Bruno's makes available. We had to ask for refills...anything and everything. The bus-boy was the only shining light. We tipped him $6 and told our waitress to ensure he gets it. She got what we got from her...QUAT!

I know a couple people might get sticker shock at the price of the Philly Steak Omelet, but I'm telling you "totally worth it"! I was digging on the Bruno's special seasoning shake too until someone mentioned I was using quite a bit of it. Everybody else's food looked great too and seemed to meet with great approval. I'm sure the whole family could be accommodated here easily and there's a small bar to boot. Probably a great place to watch a football game, but I had to be getting down the road.

We stopped on our way back from Mt. Rainier and had a wonderful experience. Tiffany, our server, was extremely sweet and helpful! One of the best servers we've had in a while. My husband and I split the prime rib pretzel dip and Cobb salad. The food was yummy and portion sizes were perfect.

This place has the best chicken fried steak, l have ever eaten. Most restaurants serve a frozen prepared with maybe a fresh gravy, not Bruno's. This is a good quality cube steak with a great batter and cooked right. I had the hash browns with it and they were average but good. The only down side of the meal was my wife had the home potatoes with her breakfast and the potatoes weren't done all the way through. The place was real bizzy and still had great service

First time going there in a long time. We are never "those people" when we go to a restaurant but this was pretty frustrating. We were seated fairly quick, but waiting for our drinks took forever. We had to ask for my friend's beer 4 times and she finally got it almost an hour and 30 minutes later. My husband's steak he ordered medium rare came out charred on one side and hardly cooked on the other. It was completely raw in the middle so he sent it back. When it got back to the table it had hardly been cooked any more than before. Looked as if they cooked the raw sides where he cut it in half and then put it back on the plate. He cut it open again to find it was still raw. At this point he refused to eat it and I ended up sharing my dinner with him. Our other friends steak was well done when he had ordered it medium. We noticed other people at different tables getting frustrated because they had been seated for at least 20 minutes but nobody was helping them. One girl had to flag someone down in order to get a drink ordered. I could tell they were not the only table getting upset by the lack of decent service. If I could give this place a half star rating, I would. The only good thing was the waitress took my husband's meal off the bill. We will not be returning to Brunos. This place is way over priced for the quality of service and food they provide.

All I can do is concur with everything everyone else has said. The quality of the food was excellent. Everything I had there down to the fried food was clearly freshly made. Had the fried pickles that came out clearly directly from the frier and they were not the type that were unfrozen the day before or that morning and just fried up as needed. Also had the beer battered cod which had a lovely coating which I'd also be highly skeptical of if someone were to tell me the coating wasn't made on site. All around excellent quality. Thank you!!!

This little restaurant is a mainstay in Eatonville Washington. If you plan on traveling through this small town, make sure to stop here. The wife and I go every time we make a trip to Northwest Trek. The menu choices are superb. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the food is great. My favorite is breakfast. The ham steak and eggs with a side of bacon is so good, my wife and I argue over who gets to order it. There main dishes come in large quantities, so be very hungry or order a half size portion. If you like sports, there is a sports theme to the decorations. Also, the bar makes delicious drinks with a local twist. Bruno's is a must go to restaurant....

Love this place! Every time we come to see my parents, dad takes us to Bruno's for breakfast. Great food and friendly staff.

I would have given this place a 0 star if that was an option. The waitress we had was rude and impatient. We ordered the breakfast burritos and after 45 minutes of waiting (while it wasn't busy) with no update or refills on our coffee, she came out with a huge plate of a scramble and a tortilla on top, you could not pick this thing up. Without if falling apart so we ate with a fork and the first second and final third bite was greasy and unbearable to eat. We could not eat more than three bites due to all the grease and barley cooked bacon. We left still hungry and confused about the experience.

Thanks place is rampant with preferential treatment. Small town small minded staff. Many better restaurants nearby. I'd suggest Shaken, the Chinese restaurant, or Puerto Vallarte

We were sat at the large table in front of the door and it took 20 mins for anybody to come get our drink order, 7 waters and 1 beer. We had to ask better of 10 times if we could get that beer, 42 mins later we got the beer (after the food) 2 of the 7 orders were okay mac and cheese and a cheese burger .... the salmon was WAY over cooked, like jerky over cooked! The Ribeye was ordered med rare and came out BLUE, TWICE!!!! All the sides were forgotten, no silverware..... just a bad experience all the way around.

A nice experience! We were on our way to Mount Rainier, and tired of eating fast food and hiking grub, we were hoping for a nicer, sit down, experience somewhere before our Nisqually-area hotel. Google ratings for Bruno‘s were superior to anything in Morton & Elbe, so we went out of our way a few miles to Bruno’s (Eatonville) … We were not disappointed! Casual sit down restaurant, with many good menu choices. Food was tasty, dessert (pie for me) was homemade and outstanding, but the highlight was perhaps our server. At the end of our long, tiring day, Melony’s enthusiasm, politeness, and personality made a real difference, keeping our dinner fun, relaxing, and wonderful! Thank you Melony!!

Usually I really like Bruno's but my experience this time was mediocre. The server wasn't friendly at all and actually seemed annoyed. We ordered and our food was delivered but we weren't given silverware or napkins and had to wait until she came back to ask (few minutes). She told me the mashed potatoes would be right out and after 5 minutes I had to stop and ask her about them. The chicken fried steak was pink in the middle which I wasn't sure if it was suppose to be or not. She said that was normal. The bill she gave us and the total ran after she took my card wasn't the same amount. I think she gave us the wrong bill but charged us the correct amount for our tab which is totally fine but it would have been nice to see my actual tab.

I have never had a bad experience at this restaurant. Definitely maintains the small town feel, even though they have recently added some new technology to lure in the younger generation. The wait staff is engaging, upbeat, and makes regular checkups. The food here is in a league all its own, with something for everyone, and I have yet to come across a meal that didn't meet the quality I expected. So whether you're passing through, or you live in the area, you can't go wrong here

Now this was one of the most pleasant experience I had dining in. The waitress sit me immediately asking on the fly if I want to have something to drink. I'm having water without ice because I don't like ice so was so convenient to be able to ask for it from the beginning. The tea was hot but not too hot and with a good selection of tea bags. She added lemons sliced which I love it. The omlet I had was perfect, the tomatoes fresh. The waitress checked on me a few times without being pushy or annoing. She was really nice an professional. Loved the experience and I'll definitely eat here again when I'll come back to town.

I've only been there for breakfast. It's my second favorite spot behind the Pancake House. I would highly suggest the ham steak xl. It comes out about an inch thick at least. The wait staff is great. If you are traveling through, I would suggest stopping.

Bruno's is probably the best all-around place to eat within the city limits of Eatonville. It's your regular diner style like a Denny's or Sherry's except it has a little more of a mountain flavor as well as not being a chain. They also uniquely have the choice of elk burgers among the regular fair you would find at such a place. There is easy access to parking and the wait staff is friendly.

My husband and I were on vacation in Ashford, Washington but Eatonville is only 30 minutes away. We were passing through when we saw Bruno's. The food tasted great-especially the day I got the blackberry pie a la mode. The service was also really good. The atmosphere was cozy and I enjoyed listening to the 90s country that played the third time (which was also our last time) we were there. If we ever go back to Washington we will definitely stop by again. Highly recommend!

Portions are pretty small, and prices are higher than BWW. Lots of teenagers working as there aren't many jobs in town for after school, but they do a good job. Food is delicious too. Not great as a bar.

While I had zero interest in stopping at a sit-down place, my hiking buddy insisted we stop here for food. I didn't feel like waiting forever for food but it was incredibly quick. I asked to sit near the window so I could keep an eye on my dog in the jeep, but they suggested I bring her to the patio with me and they immediately brought her a clean bowl of water. We had our meals in less than 15 minutes and the food was amazing. (Those garlic fries!) and surprisingly cheap. I think I discovered a new tradition. :)

Well... I think the prices are way to high for what ya get... I ordered a LARGE salad and it was pretty skimpy, I even asked if it was a small or large, yup... It was a large!!! I had a cocktail and a salad and my bill was about $25 ... I think it was too expensive. I must say the service was great and. The salad was really good.... Small, but good.

This place was incredible. Coming back down from a trip to Mt Rainier and everything was closed or closing on us the whole way back home. This was pretty much the only place open and man are we glad we stopped here. We came in and ordered delicious meals, the staff was great, and we left with happy hearts and full stomachs. This place was a delight. Definitely recommend this if youre famished after a day of hiking! (Lots of food is served)

This was a surprisingly wonderful experience. The food was really good, the menu selections were amazing for a small restaurant in a tiny, out of the way place. We had steamed clams that were to die for! He had prime rib and I had a burger. The salads were great with seasonal mixed greens and the dressing seemed home made. The blue cheese had huge chunks of blue cheese in it. The waitress was amazing and we saw her go above and beyond for a patron who had over imbibed a bit. She was friendly and attentive and so kind to someone who needed a little bit of help. We were so impressed!

Never have a good experience ordering breakfast, something is always wrong with the orders. Latest order was a full portion of protein egg scramble and avacodo but recieved a half portion and avacodo. Brunos is not my first choice for getting breakfast.

Food is delicious. I had chicken fried steak with Gravy and it was more than delicious! You get free refills on regular fries. It's a little more than we normally pay, though. Very casual atmosphere. The tables can be kinda crowded. Not much room around them. My main problem is that the ladies bathroom is not handicap accessible.
