The patio here is so beautiful and has a great ambience, we sat right by a big fig tree. The three reds I tried we're all delicious, as was our charcuterie board. The meats are so fresh. To top off the night we had the baguette with honey, and I could have eaten that honey with a spoon it's so delicious! Want to return for a date night!

Awesome wine bar tucked away in Madrona! A renovated craftsman home turned wine bar makes for a great ambiance. The service wasn't fantastic, but our waitress warmed up to us and ended giving us a free taste of wine, because we were talking about it all night. Great spot for a date night!

Totally loved this place! Small, intimate and just lovely! My friend had her going away party here. They did a nice job on the cheese plate with crusty bread and several choices of cheeses, nuts and berries. Bravo! I will come back for dinner!

What a fun little place. Fantastic wine options and a small, but tasty set of beer options and small plates. I had their wit on tap and the bottled kolsch. Incredibly refreshing for a warm Seattle evening. I'll definitely come back with a group of <=4 unless I manage to get their large cubby hole. Highly recommended for some good conversation time.

Bottlehouse used to be my go-to place when I lived in the area. I love the area and the space itself - it is located in a retrofitted house in the Madrona neighborhood of Seattle. The bar is not big but cozy and comfortable. There is an outside seating which is perfect in the summer. Staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. Food and wine selection is great.

First time in Seattle. Searched for a winery, and this came up. When we got there, it was crowded... which means the locals love it! We couldn't get a table, so we sat on the porch, but it was cold....it's 100 degrees back home! I am giving it a 4 star rating, because it is obviously very well liked. It is a wine bar, not a winery, so I was disappointed. However, you can get a trio of wines to try. I have been to several wineries, and have bought wines from many different wineries. The bottles of wine are expensive. So I didn't buy any here. If you are looking for a winery, this isn't it. Our bill was over $50. But we are in Seattle.

The best seasonal toast is this month. The turkey with cranberry and creamy speciality cheese is heavenly. Think thanksgiving dinner on toast and you would capture the moment. The other dishes like sausage trio and Mac and cheese are fantastic. Although the menu changes monthly the food here is worth the trip. Come enjoy.

The ambiance was cozy and the charcuterie board I ordered was amply sized and tasty but the service was relatively slow and mismanaged. The wine selection was surprisingly poor for a place called Bottlehouse and the staff did not seem to have a good knowledge of how to serve it. While the restaurant concept was nice, it was executed with a lack of attention to detail that I would expect at this price.

I was there for the champagne and oyster tasting. The music was too loud and they only had one person shucking oysters. Long lines for the oysters resulted, and it was hard to have a conversation. The band was excellent, just too loud. When I've been here on other days, to thumbs up! Excellent cheese and charcuterie plates.

We had a lovely Sunday evening listening to live music at Bottlehouse, with two delicious Frosés to combat the heat. Very chill and cozy vibes for a low-key date night. It's counter service inside and on the balcony, and table service on the deck. We'll definitely be back to try their food (which looked tasty, even on already full bellies) and sample more wines. :)

Wow what a great little hidden gem in Seattle, their staff are super friendly and very helpful in picking a great glass or bottle of wine. We had already eaten across the road at the Red Cow but a majority of the people drinking here were having atleast a small meal and the food did look good. The quality of service and range of wines was quite good value and the staff are quite knowledgeable on their wines, they have a rotating Rose so each time you might get something different which is a nice idea. It was a lovely place to spend the afternoon as they have a gorgeous outdoor area, worth a visit if you are in Seattle.

My sister got a wine flight, I liked one of those wines better, and another in that flight was the same wine the waiter brought me. Why would you repeat a wine at the same table? Happy Hour meat tray and cheese tray were tiny. Not impressed, not going back

Always love bottle house. Great venue, cozy vibe, fun with our little family or w/ friends or for a date night. Also love the outdoor space when that's being utilized. Haven't been there much during the happy hour period but it's a bit weird how you have to specify "happy hour version" since I don't actually think they're generally different, just a slight reduction in cost but last time I was there I did have to ask for the $2/pour discount on wines which seemed weird for a wine bar.

I love, love, love this place! First of all, it's located in a craftsman home in Madrona with an awesome front porch for bar seating and with an even better patio. This is more than just a charming wine bar - it's a wonderful and romantic dining experience. The collection of wine is large, and I love that they have bottles for sale in the front foyer in all different prices ranges. Though the space inside is cozy, as you are reminded that this is in a house - I love sitting outside whether that be on the front porch that overlooks the neighborhood or out on the patio with communal benches and candlelight. Plus, they allow dogs on the porch and patio! I never know what to order when I come here, but in addition to the great wine they have beer, French ciders(!) and cocktails. The food menu is similar to that of a French bistro - it's light yet all of the food is full of rich, fresh flavor and complements many of the wines. It's hard to pick a favorite because I've loved everything I've ever ordered from here, but if you've never been I suggest the cheese plate which is selected by the house cheesemonger, and you can add on charcuterie. Or for when you're getting tip-say I like the Parisian-style sandwiches that will easily fill any lush hankering. Bottlehouse is a wonderful place that I love visiting whenever I'm in Madrona. It's such a gem in this residential community. And I've found that no matter how many times I've been here my experience here always somehow transforms me into another world and really stops time. Five stars all the way.

This place is perfect!!! It's charming, beautiful and cozy inside. We went for a late dinner and the entire place was dimly lit besides the addition of pretty tea lights and it just felt so romantic and unique. We sat outside since the weather was nice. The patio was right next to trees covered in string lights and our server came over right away. We came here for the charcuterie and it did not disappoint. One of the best meat & cheese boards I've ever had. We also added on the baguette appetizer with housemade butter, honey, & fresh flaked sea salt. Everything. Was. Amazing. The bread was fresh, the butter, honey & salt combo was so simple yet incredibly delicious. The meat & cheese board was picked by the chef yet they took our suggestions for what we liked. Some charcuterie plates do not come with a lot of food but this was not the case here. You definitely get your money's worth in meat & cheese and then some. I really loved the pickle vegetables on the side as well. The wine was tasty and we ordered a few chocolate truffles at the end of our meal. Everything was simply divine.

The location is an old house in Madrona, very charming, intimate, and romantic if you're with a partner. Snack choices compliment the wine well. Whats not to love about this place? Patio, ambiance, great selection of wine and draft beers. Live music, and great staff makes this place an awesome addition to Madrona. I cannot stress enough that the staff would never try and sell you something for a quick gratuity...everyone is here to get you coming back and treating you like family. If they tell you to get the $60 bottle on date night, you won't regret it.

I normally recommend Bottlehouse to anyone who loves wine. However, I haven't been in close to a year and it seems as though the place has completely different staff. Service is not what it used to be. When being seated, we were seated outside in direct sunlight at a tiny table obviously for two and the server seemed determined to squeeze our party of three at the smallest table possible. I didn't feel as though the server or cheesemonger was very knowledgeable about the wine and cuisine they were serving. I used to love Bottlehouse because the service was so great and the staff would make sure to explain the origins of their food and wine to you as well as expert suggestions when it comes to pairing. It's just not the same anymore, I probably won't be back anytime soon.

What a nice and quaint restaurant! They specialize in cheese and wine pairings. I think they said they have ~40 different types of cheeses. Everything was delicious and the ambiance was great for a date night or to catch up with friends
