I love Bom. I do not love the fact that it now opens at 5pm Mon - Fri, though I understand. It was always pretty deserted when I would go in around lunch time. But the KFC is pretty on point and service is always friendly!

Brandon Wardlaw

Good option for Korean-style fried chicken, which was by far the best thing my group ordered.

I had an amazing experience at Bom. I came here with my boyfriend late in the evening on Saturday night. When we walked in, I was apprehensive because there was only one server tending the bar and the entire restaurant, but the employee was just such a pro that it felt like we had a severer dedicated just to us. The service was impeccable. I was so impressed. The food was wonderful too. I will definitely be coming back.

Just walked in crazy heat and sun to get here. It should be open (got there at 11:40, sign says they open at 11:30) but doors are locked and there’s no one inside.

It is virtually a Bon Chon.

Brian Kidwell

Very average Korean fried chicken. Additionally, portion sizes are smaller than most for the price. Both pricier and less tasty than BonChon. There are multiple better options in the city.

Arrived at 10:35 to a closed restaurant. Says 11 on the door. Not worth your time.

Favorite place in our current visit to DC. Parking nearby made it easy to get to. We ordered the boneless strips. Our family likes spicy food but the kids opted out and got the Soy Garlic flavor. We also got some fried rice and Pork Cutlet. Rice portion was a bit small but chicken strips portion very large for the price. Everything tasted great. Awesome service as well.

Welcomed addition to the neighborhood. Good food, lunch menus, very good prices and a nice owner. The only thing is that there could be more mest in Bimibop. Anyway, will be back.

Bom is delicious! We went on a quiet night on Wednesday. Lots of people were ordering takeout. We had the bibimbap and a small chicken combo which was enough for 2 people. Wings were crispy and delicious! If you've Bon Chon, this place gives a similar vibe.

Great addition to the neighborhood! Run down your forearms juicy, perfect double fry, great flavor. Spicy is just spicy enough. Kimchi was crisp and flavorful but not overwhelming. Good beer selection. Service super friendly, attentive and the chef came out for feeback on the spice level of the wings. Will definitely be back.

I liked it, the serve a very crispy korean chicken, nothing like KFC, friendly staff

Awesome addition to the neighborhood! We had the fried octopus and the wings were amazing. If you have been to Bonchon in navy yard they are very similar tasting. The pork buns were tasty except there was too much fat versus the actual meat. We will definitely come back. Great service and great food.

I ordered the chicken cutlet. It was very thin, old meat, dry. The breading was dark, like it was cooked in old oil. Very hard to cut with just my fork. I shouldn't have to use a steak knife to cut chicken. The rice was good. Vegetables were cold.. Like ice cold. I didn't eat them. I'd call them a knock off Bon Chon but I feel that would be disrespectful to Bon Chon even making the comparison.

Really, really impressed by this place! Have to be honest, went in with low expectations...not for any reason really, just didn’t expect much, but I got so so much! Kimchi was delicious, we ordered a 2nd order. Highly suggest the Japchae - with or without mushrooms - seriously delish. Bulgolgi fried rice was straight yum yum too! And don’t. Even. Get. Me. Started. On the wings. Medium combo was plenty for 3 people as an appetizer - we did a mix of Spicy and Soy Garlic. Spicy has some heat, be careful, it creeps up on you! Soy Garlic is just straight bangin’ We will be back!

You only run into places with this good of service every few years at best. The owner is a phenomenal guy and will make sure you have a great visit. His food is also incredible - the spicy sauce will have you sweating but its taste is perfect. HIGHLY recommend!
