REVIEWS OF Baan Thai IN Washington

Eric Lee

This place is nothing really special about Thai foods. I tried authentic Thai foods in Bangkok and compared to that, these foods are just okay. I prefer to have traditional Thai foods and can't imagine that they don't serve Pad Thai, Tom Yum soup, and even Papaya salad. A bit disappointed. So, if you want to try something different than "normal" Thai foods, this place is not bad at all.

Tia Cherie, DVM

My husband and I were in the DC area for a conference and decided to try something within walking distance of our hotel. We both really enjoy Thai food and saw Baan Thai just a block and a half from where we were staying (the Westin). Overall, the food was delicious - we enjoyed the sushi, chicken red curry with winter melon, and tuna tartar - and the service was wonderful. Our only complaint was that it was loud (we couldn't hear each other talk over the other guests). Perhaps some noise dampeners on the walls would provide some improvement in this respect?

Simren Sahota

My family and I recently went to Baan Thai during our holiday to Washington and I must say it was the most incredible thai food we have tried. Loved the atmosphere, and the food was delicious and filled with flavour. Would definitely recommend.

Pereece Woods

Excellent customer service. Great food. Feels likea down home spot. I loved how the menu clearly indicted V for vegetarian and vegan options! :)

Michael Forgione

So we choose this place because we tried going to another restaurant and there was an hour and a half wait. We stumbled upon this place and am I glad we did. They had great Thai food. For an appetizer we had a mushroom salad which was just the right amount of spice. I had a beef curry noodle dish which was great. My girlfriend had a chicken and shrimp sweet and sour soup which was also very tasty. If your in the area of this place you should definitely give it a try. It also wasn't very expensive. We had those three dishes plus a house sake and side of rice. The bill came out to less then fifty dollars. They also have sushi there if people don't like Thai food. But it all looked very good.

Omitogun Abolaji O

Good food and fair price

Richard Boly

Great, creative, affordable food.

Carrie A Jacobs

Delicious. Recommend the Thai vermicelli with peanut sauce.

Sabrina Guzzi

Had no pad thai or drunken noodles on the menu, but the meals we got were pretty good.

Akua Boatema

Baan Thai is a wonderful location for nice dinner when in town. The atmosphere is very welcoming and lively. The restaurant has a great selection of modern and traditional dishes. I tried their Glass noodle soup with chicken and shrimp /Suki nahm gài kup goong, this dish was bursting with flavor. The fermented red bean curd sauce was spicy but not overpowering. I plan on visiting again to try other dishes. Well done, Baan Thai.

Trevor Bryant

Absolutely phenomenal transitional meals from northern Thailand. Bursting with flavor. Not your typical Thai restaurant catered to North America. The atmosphere welcomes you with smiles, flavors, and great conversation.

Jack Newman

Excellent curry dishes. Wonderful service. Same same only different.

James Carey

Awesome food and awesome service.

Joaquim Mateus

Nice place nice atmosphere. The food ranges from ok to good and the staff is very nice. My curry was very nice but my partners noodles were not that fantastic.

Avnish Tripathi

Great food, the menu may not look too good at first glance but it was awesome. But for people who don't like spice choose wisely and try to get food with one to zero chilly signs.

malice Barbosa

Traditional thai. Nothing like it in DC. Easy and inviting atmosphere. Very nice view of the street. I think ive been here about9 times. They sell Orion which was tr totally worth it. They can make the meal super duper spicy. I actually have asked them to make me regret my life spicy and they delivered

Linh Hua

Authentic and delicious! The food has kick to it so if you can't tolerate spicy then you should let the waitress know. Loved everything about this restaurant!

Salil Soman

Ammaaazing flavors. As good as what I ate in Thailand. Definitely going again on next visit to DC.

Buki F

Great spot to catch up with friends over a great meal and good drink selection.

Franklyn Benjamin

Came in with a group of co workers during lunch and was seated right away. We all really enjoyed the food and had trouble deciding which item to pick for our first time. We really appreciated the pictures and all had something different from the thai food menu. We'll be back to try to the sushi.

Kate D

Amazing flavor and great service

Aman George

One of my favorite restaurants in DC! Relatively unusual Northern Thai food (don't expect Pad Thai or Drunken Noodles), extraordinarily flavorful and complex. I've never had anything bad, but the tom yum soup and the kanom krok dessert are the two truly unmissable things. The tom yum soup is unlike the version you've had anywhere else, both in flavor and in size (it's an entree-sized noodle soup). Pro tip for the kanom krok - order a shot of whiskey to dip them in (and make sure you order them early in your meal as they take 20 minutes to prepare). Other excellent dishes include the green mango salad, beef curry noodles, and the pork picnic. Many of the dishes are pretty spicy and have bold flavors - this place is best for folks seeking an adventurous Thai meal, rather than the comfortable staples of your neighborhood Thai joint. Prices are extremely reasonable for the outstanding quality of food (entrees between $15-20) and while it is never empty the waits are usually short-to-nonexistent.

Tiptunya Kampim

I love all food here. They are so Thai style. High recommendation!!!

Kenneth Roraback

This is my favorite Thai restaurant that I've visited in DC. The staff are lovely and welcoming, and the food is fantastic. I particularly recommend ordering smaller dishes to share with friends, such as the mango salad, which is a delightful mix of refreshing fruit and spice. Also, there are lots of gluten-free options throughout the menu. Gluten status isn't marked on the menu (I'd love to see that in the future!!) but the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Carolina Ramoa

Absolutely delicious- food and drinks. I’ve never had a bad dish here or a bad drink. The appetizers called something pockets are crunchy and amazing.

Joanna Liantsoa Raoeliarindranto

The best Thai restaurant I have tried so far. The food was soooo yummy and the price was very fair. The decor is low key and I liked it. Would highly recommend!

Roberta Allport

There was not a single oyster in my mushroom oyster salad. Food otherwise good. Definitely on the spicy end.

Tatyana Levitskaya

Make sure to catch happy hour with 1$

Dmitry Barinov

Greasier then real thai food.

Kirk Duffy

Great happy hour sushi deals and authentic northern Thailand dishes. Bartender was great and helpful. Will go again.

Christopher Parrish

I've only been once so feel a little conflicted about writing a review but really liked it. I loved how all the dishes are a little different than a stereotypical Thai place. Of the six of us, no one had a dish they didn't like. Service was good and prices pretty cheap for the quality and portion. Will totally go back.

Todd Campbell

Great service, decent drinks. The food wasn't anything to write home about. I can't recall exactly what I ordered but it was considered one of their spiciest dishes (4 peppers), and it was equivalent to Texas Pete hot sauce (baby spicy). I definitely do recommend calling in and making a reservation, the space is rather small and gets full very quickly after 5:30.

Bob Selin-Williams

I took my sister, who lived in Chiang Mai for a couple years, here to get Northern Thai food, and we weren't disappointed. She was very pleased with the taste and authenticity, and I found the food delicious.

Matthew Renetzky

The space inside gets so loud it's unbearable. The food was not very good either.

Gentry Alexander

Baan Thai has the best Thai food in the city, hands down.

Hongyu Yang

Pretty good Thai food and sashimi.

Amanda DeNardo

While this was a little pricey for lunch (22 for Thai iced tea + sushi) it was totally worth it. Fast service and great tasting food. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend

Christian Mörth

Yummy and good value

Jorge Avila

Discovered this place last time I was here in DC and now that I am back, I couldn't miss the opportunity to eat here again. Their food is nothing but great. Prices are affordable/reasonable. Customer service is also very good.

Ryan Whitney

We had the mango salad, beef curry, and Vermicelli noodles. The mango salad and noodles were excellent, and the beef curry was pretty good too. Prices are reasonable.

Paul Lawrence

Best Thai I’ve had. Wow!

Denise St. Clair

Ate here for the first time and it was quite good. I had sushi, which was very fresh. My dining partners had more traditional Thai fair, and loved it. Staff was accommodating of my food allergies and honest about what not to get! Good experience, just be prepared for stairs to access it!

Dmitry Pekarsky

Not bad. Slightly above average sushi.

Rebecca Frye

Authentic and delicious! Gotta love the heat :-) Vegan dishes available.

Matt Bogenhagen

Great food, 1$ happy hour sushi, friendly staff!

Katherine

Fantastic Thai and Japanese. Having been to Thailand, it was really nice to have those flavors again!

Matt Wilson

Best Thai I've had. Nice to get away from the American-Thai standard dishes.

Cynthia Hinnant

Good drinks, good food...not very authentic Thai food though. The customer service was exceptional.

Siri Nankin

Golden pockets and lemon grass shrimp and I was one very happy customer. Ate it too fast to take a picture. Great service and didn't break the bank.

Evan Smith

My friend and I just had lunch here for the first time. The food was delicious. We got the spring rolls for an appetizer and my friend had the red curry and I had the "black magic" (an eggplant in black bean sauce). The service was the best we've had since we can't remember when. Our waiter Joshua was great.

FrankLdR

Hot! Very hot.

lila mundie

Super tasty. Ate there 2 times in 3 days :)

mikmak pattiwak

the atmosphere of this place really makes it extremely difficult to enjoy, my food was of the utmost spicy degree with zero warning, though it wasnt bad food. probably give it a 2/10 for the meal being alright.

Amrita Nayak

Not as good as the reviews sounded. I heard their chef changed which is why the food tastes so different now. The northern curry soup lacked flavor. The chicken in it had absolutely no flavor. The sushi was quite decent. 3 starts just for the sushi. My friends who ate here raved about this place, but I guess it's not as good as it used to be anymore.

Antonio Conner Sr

Food was so dam hot & great tasting, me and friends will return.

Mariel Horn

Some of the best Thai you’ll find in DC. Sushi is amazing as well. Great happy hour specials. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Tara Roberts

Such delicious northern thai food!!

C J

Great tasting Thai food for a very reasonable price. A lot of the reviews here noted how spicy everything was, but people in my party who are very sensitive to spice had no problem handling "3 chilis out of 4". Overall, would definitely stop by here If you are looking for some authentic Thai food. Don't be deterred by the spice!

Pedro Simão

Amazing rich flavours and really good value for money

Harry Shah

Seems like a popular place as most of the tables were booked, and they seemed to be turning around tables very quickly as well. Service was quick, and food was decent. Lots of Thai restaurants in the area so this wouldn't be my top choice -- but, worth a shot if you're looking for a reliable Thai place.

Pete Perry

Excellent cooking, but intensely hot n' spicy! A few more less flamable to the palate options would be good. Prices are decent and service was good.

Ria Mendoza

Great service, amazing food.

Anakin ZEN

Left the place hungry and upset...the guy who serve us was great but the food was very spicy we all left hungry

Adam Nothem

Great Thai food. No doubt about it. The prices are reasonable and the portions are good. If you like Thai food, be sure to visit Baan Thai.

Danny Kim

The food is delicious and savory! The menu is pretty big with a large selection of food where the first half of the menu is comprised of Thai dishes and the second half is comprised of sushi. Ordered a few Thai dishes, so I don't know how the sushi taste, but the food is one of the best Thai I've had in the DC metropolitan area. Ordered the Khao Gree'ap Bpaak Maw and Tung Tohng for appetizer, Khao Soi Gai for entree, and Kanom Krok for dessert. The Khao Gree'ap Bpaak Maw is really good, and the peanut taste overpowers the taste of the other ingredients, but eating it with the chili pepper makes it taste better as it helps balance it out. The Tung Tohng is pretty good, and you can taste the ground chicken and shrimp, and the sweet chili sauce helped enhance the flavor. Khao Soi Gai was amazing! The presentation was outstanding, and I will definitely return just to eat more of this dish. The chicken was moist and tender, and crispy egg noodles were crunchy. The cooked egg noodles were wide and soft. It has a nice kick to it from the spice, so if you can't handle your spice, I would stay away from this dish or ask the server to tone down the spice. Overall, this dish exceeded my expectations. The Kanom Krok was delicious, and the coconut flavor was refreshing to finish off the spicy entree. It definitely reminded me of Thai street food because there are food stands that sell this dessert hot and crispy. My only complaint was the Thai Tea, although it was refreshing, it was a little too sweet, and it came with too much ice. Overall, this is one of the best Thai restaurants I've had in the area, and will return again for the Khao Soi Gai!

Josh Stearns

This restaurant is a gem. Most authentic Thai food in DC.

Meagan Taylor

Amazing food and quick service. The best Thai food we have eaten in years. Service was quick and friendly as was the food. Definitely recommend. Go there now!

Anthony Price Jr

Authentic and tasty!

ramya reddy

The basil fried rice was good. The curry was a little bland and service was ok. The restaurant is clean though. Not too great to be going back . Since its in a good location thought it would be really good. Am a visitor and fan of Thai food but didn’t quite like it.

Joe Gonzalez

Service was pleasant. Food is delicious...I was impressed. My wife's family is from Laos & she was very satisfied with the authentic dishes.

Cordale Jackson

Baan Thai is very deserving of its praise, accolades, and awards. I have been to Thailand and have had authentic Thai cuisine. Since my return attempts to recreate that dining experience have been some what dismal until happening upon Baan Thai. Eat there, love the cuisine and enjoy the ambience and gleeful service.

Tara Hoit

Perfect tapioca balls filled with a hint of sweet crushed peanuts.

Chrycka H

When we walked in, the restaurant was packed with delicious-looking plates and yummy smells. We didn't have to wait at the bar long before our table became available. The expedite was efficient and while the staff didn't engage in small talk, they demonstrated commitment to quick service. The food WAS AMAZING! I had the fish balls with vermicelli noodles and the spice level was on point. It is cramped and small, but in a good way. Very intimate and modern with a great selection of dishes. You can spend $30 on food, drink, and top and not regret it. I will definitely be visiting again

Jacob Kratavil

IMHO best thai food in DC

Larry Hill

Food was excellent. A lot of the dishes are very spicy and the menu does good good of pointing out how spicy a dish is. I love some heat with my food. Fried Tilapia was best dish I've had there so far, but everything is good.

gracie sanford

Awesome Thai food - and the spicy is actually spicy!

Carrie Costa

I love this place. I've been here nearly a dozen times and have never tasted something that I didn't like. I enjoy the fact that their cuisine (to my knowledge) is very authentic for the region. They don't tone down the natural style of cooking with the tartness, umami, sourness and the spice.

Reginald Williams

No true veggie options here. They cook with fish grease, thinking that there are no vegan vegetarians. I had to ask to find that out. They did their best. They were nicd, but I won't be back. Sorry...

Pamela Bosque

Best Tom Yum soup ever

Mario Ramos

Great Thai restaurant with a sushi bar. Stopped in for sushi the other day. It was excellent and I plan to return and try their Thai dishes before I leave town. An important thing to remember is that the restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the building.

T S

Good Thai food on 14th Street. The city def has some better Thai elsewhere, but not much that can top this, and the location here can't be beat.

Jim Knows

I was very impressed the taste and presentation. Make sure to use the door on the right otherwise you may be in the wrong place.

Mary Ewell

Really liked the shrimp salad appetizer and the coconut flour little halfmoon dessert. Only draw back is volume of noise in restaurant as ceilings are high.

Anna Bondy

Been here a few times- definitely a go to spot on the 14th st corridor, and always seems full but has a table available. A lot of their food is spicy but there are a few options for those who can't handle heat (like me). I got a noodle dish with pork and chicken - the broth is optional but I definitely recommend it.

Abhash Meswani

Great experience. Food was amazing. Authentic Thai cuisine and quite affordable.

Dan Vila

Great place, everything tastes so good. My favorite is the green mango salad.

Peter

Good food. Some interesting items

Stephen Walsh

Best Thai food I've ever eaten

Telly Young

Loved the appetizers!

Mandi Prichard

Most authentic Thai food in DC perhaps besides Thip Kao. Delicious and super helpful wait staff

Karthik Raja setty

Nice Thai food around and service was good.

Abilash Pulicken

This is, without a doubt, one of the best Thai restaurants I've ever been to. I was introduced to this place by a friend on a trip to Washington DC, who prefaced our trip by saying that this was his favorite restaurant in the area. I was prepared to be impressed, but I was absolutely not prepared to have my mind BLOWN. We ordered four different dishes and a drink or two, and everything was fantastic. The flavors were sublime, the textures were perfect, and the aromas were heavenly. I realize that all this sounds like rambling hyperbole, but seriously, go eat there - if you like spicy, exquisitely prepared food, you won't be disappointed. On a side note though, be advised that this restaurant is a little loud, especially during peak hours, and seating can be a little tight. If you happen to be sensitive to sound and/or claustrophobic you should probably consider a visit during off-peak hours.

prita karundeng

Amazing food and staff,love it!!

Vijay Kanneganti

Ask for the spicy sauces on the side. They will blow your mind!

Jorge Haber

Wasn't as good as the reviews suggest. Good isn't bad, but i felt like it was over hyped.

Nate Murrell

Not black people friendly

Kathryn Wheeler

I LOVE this place. They serve the most delicious Thai food I have ever eaten. The atmosphere and birds-eye view of the busy street below — phenomenal. The service is always quick and friendly. I've eaten here 3 times over the course of 2 years and have never had a bite of one of their dishes that was anything short of heavenly. The spice level is great straight out of the kitchen, but I reccomend requesting one of their spice caddies to try out their dried spice blends and pickled peppers. The prices are more than fair, and if you go during happy hour the sushi and boozy frozen drinks are a steal. Dish recommendations: they're all amazing, so you can't really go wrong, but I have drooly dreams about the pineapple chicken bite appetizers, spicy papaya curry, and northern curry with egg noodles in particular.

Chase Keenan

If you want amazing, authentic Thai this is your place

Aj Seglem

Fabulous food and wonderful service to match. Everyone was so nice! And the barkeep was fun to talk to while I was waiting for my dinner party.

CheShin Chew

Doesn't have a lot of authentic Thai food. Doesn't even have tomyam or green curry dishes. All they have is tomyam with noodle.

Brandon McGartland

This place is the real thing. Food was perfectly seasoned, reasonably priced and service was prompt and courteous.

Love Lacy

By far my favorite sushi place in DC proper. The happy hour pricing alone is worth the trip. Great time to try something new. This time I tried their octopus nigiri, pretty good. The best item on the menu for me is the Nigiri eel! It's a party in your mouth. It's a place you must check out.

John Spehl

OMG, this place was amazing! They have sushi and Thai and all 4 us loved it! We also had some of their cocktails which were also awesome and perhaps have contributed to the joviality of this review! Super reasonably priced as well. GET SOME!

Stevie Carter

Great Thai at a steal: prices are extraordinarily cheap for the food quality.

Troy R

Good food and service. Lunch special are great for the price.

Jonathan Grant

One of the only places that respects your order. You know when you go to a Thai place and you order spicy food and you get it and it's barely spicy? This place doesn't play. Order up. Order big. Ask for extra napkins cause your nose will run. This is also a great place to start from the Pad Thai or Green Curry. Go crazy and order something different; you'll enjoy it.

Laura Crown

Actually a 3.5. Came for lunch on a Monday and was not too crowded. Note that this place is upstairs, right over another Thai restaurant. So pay attention to the sign on the door (it's the door on the right) and make sure you're headed upstairs, otherwise you're in the wrong restaurant haha The food took a while to come, and the table next to us got their food before we did even though we sat down and ordered first. Not a huge deal but it was a little bit annoying since we had to get to the airport right after. Food was good, definitely on the spicy side. The Thai vermicelli was not too spicy, but the egg noodles with chicken and stir fried glass noodles definitely were really spicy. It's the kind of spice that builds up after a few bites. The chicken in steamed rice roll appetizer was yummy, the filling was ground chicken and peanuts, which was unexpected but good. I liked the Thai vermicelli the best, but I think the vegetable they chose to tempura was too thin to hold up to frying. I think I would've preferred it not fried. The sauce was nice and peanut-y, a little spicy, and lots of chicken and shrimp. I could've used a fresh herb or vegetable to balance it a bit. I appreciate that the menu had so many options from all over Thailand, not just curry and pad Thai. If I lived in the area I would come back to try the other dishes

Amanda Tomaka

Amazing Tom yum

chelsea anstine

The absolute best Thai Food I have ever had! It was a bit pricey, but nothing outrageous. I will absolutely be back when I'm in DC!

David Bryant

Tried this while on a business trip. Great service, waiter recommended some new Thai dishes I'd never tried before

Manuel Cruz

What's good? The Golden Fried Pockets are amazing. The Stir-Fried Rice with Chili Paste and Pork Belly was amazing, if you can handle spicy. The wings with the sauce were good. Our friend liked the Thai Vermicelli in Chili Peanut Sauce. We didn't like an "angel hair..." dish they had in Summer specials.

Thomas Stitt

Good Thai food. Spiciness is on point. Reasonably priced. Good cocktail as well. Comfortable and not pretentious.

Travis Le

Probably the best Thai food I have had, though I haven't had that much. I had a chicken curry with winter melon. It was ranked with 4 peppers, which is their spiciest. It was not a slap in the face, searing heat, but more of a dull mouth covering heat. Still incredibly delicious. They also had sushi. I got the helix rolls, which reminds me of a rainbow roll, but instead of imitation crab, it was fried soft shell crab. Very good. Definitely recommend.

Nick Roberge

Best sushi and Northern Thai I've ever had! Northern meaning when they say something is spicy they mean very spicy, which is great. Definitely stop in if you happen to be in DC!

Anton Jancsik

Great, authentic and reasonably price Thai food on 14th street. Can be extremely loud when busy so not a place for a quiet dinner with friends.

Khushboo Mandhaniya

Taste is good.

IAm Gaming

One of the best Thai places in DC. Good, no, great prices only surpassed by the taste of the food. It's in a good location, with a great staff and good atmosphere

Erinna Larsson

The tomyumgong noodle is amazing! It's fresh and palatable. Also a must-try is the coconut dessert, it's so coconut and fluffy.

Bill Dunne

All the reviews are accurate - authentic, fantastic, and can't beat the price. Let's be honest, you're not coming here if your mental construct of Thai food is pad thai anyways.

cat wu

Rating is for happy hour sushi, 5-7 $1/piece. Tasty and fresh.

Jerold Paulson

Decent sushi

Kahla Gagne

Very traditional thai food. if your looking for pad thai this is not your place. nice atmosphere and good happy hour

Farzana Ahmed Siddique

Loved their golden pocket fry and green mango salad!

Sarang Dalne

Went here for dinner. Place was packed which is always a good sign ;). Ordered two appetizers a tapioca wrapped chicken and sausage. Both were awesome. Eat the chicken with chilly served with it for full experience of the flavors. Ordered a maki and papaya curry chicken for entrees. Again both were superb. Service awesome too, they explained the dishes well and helped with the order. Portions are on larger side so can be shared between two. Overall experience was very good, will definitely recommend this place.

Ryan Oliver

Great good, nice staff and fairlyy authentic menu. Recommend for food with dates and or friends.

Kamran Hakiman

Food was quite good, but the space needs some sound dampening. It was very noisy.

Michael Montesinos

More authentic thai. Loved the Golden Fried Pockets. Try the Brocolli Fried Rice w. Pork. It has a unique taste with the cilantro on top. Ask for extra lime.

Nikolai Khromouchkine

Has great peanut/veggie dish

Shao-Chieh Liu

The menu is easy to read with photos containing a plethora of selections that are quite authentic. We ordered home made mackerel fish balls with vermicelli in curry, mango salad, and Helix rolls. All three were quite wonderful in terms of taste and attention to detail. Will come again for sure. New favorite.

Chris Kostas

We loved this place. I tried a specialty roll, it was awesome. My daughter got a stir fry with glass noodles... we both loved that too.

Jonathan Silverman

Excellent. Unimprovable. Top notch staff and unique Thai dishes. Highly recommended.

Angela Kim

Food was ok but the casher service was questionable

Kelly Holland

Delicious takeout! Thanks to a previous reviewer for suggesting the snacks I know as Thai money bags, here they are called "golden fried pockets." Really enjoyed the Egg noodle soup with roasted pork and ground chicken. Appreciate that for takeout they put the broth and protein in one container, and the veg and noodles in a separate one. Savory broth with medium spice. Would absolutely order again!

Dea Garic

Delicious food and very fast service! The interior of the resturant is beautifully decorated and dimly lit, making it feel relaxed and homey. The menu was extensive, well laid out, and had many useful pictures. Servers came very quickly and were attentive, and the food arrived shortly after being ordered. Would definitely recommend.

Tyger A

Best Northern style Thai cuisine in this metropolitan area. They have seriously spicy, savory, and robust dishes.

Brandon L

Good service solid food

Art Weldon

This has got to be the best Thai food I have had outside of Thailand. But it's because the chef only serves up authentic dishes from their home country. I was impressed when I saw there was no pad Thai noodles on the menu. It's not about an Americanized version of Thai food. My favorite is the Tom Yum Noodle soup. It gorgeous. During my 3 months stay in DC I had it probably every other week.... especially as everything is price right. Baan Thai is a must when in DC.

Wayne Horton-Martin

Went with a large group for a celebration. No Pad Thai on the menu. We took that as a good sign. We were right, the food was top notch. When the check came it was sub totalled for each seat so you could easily add your share to the payment.
