This Restaurant is included in the category of American restaurant.
Great restaurant and bar. The lighting inside and out side is optimal for enjoyment. The burgers are delicious and perfectly constructed!
Cool bar atmosphere. Did not try the food, so cannot help you there. So in and see if you like it. Worth checking out.
Nice place, yammi food and good DJ!
I went on New year's and it was ok
Brunching was great here! Super awesome mimosa deals and the unlimited plates unbelievable amounts and all very tasty! My fav the chicken and waffles super tasty even up untill the whipp cream!
Great place for a late night drink or two... Or three...
Great drinks! Order the steak fries you won't regret it! - Kid Friendly - Quality Food - Will be returning
Drinks were fine but the food was terrible. We had the mushroom appetizer - which was literally a big bowl of slimy slices of mushrooms... I ordered the steak - it was a tough cut of meat. I couldn’t eat it. My husband had the Mac and cheese. It was watery and more of an Easy Mac than a $14 dish. If you are willing to pay these prices, go to Liberty Tavern.
Nice, but expensive and kind of an uppity crowd
Ambience amazing. Cool vibe. Live music. Food and service don't match yet. Hopefully they can improve.
Just watched the Brazil - Belgium game and had lunch and drinks. The hamburger was amazing (cooked perfectly), especially with the hand cut fries and aioli dipping sauce. Drinks are strong and bartender was great. Tried a few drinks and loved all of them, but I think Nailed It was my favorite.
Pretty good food. Worth the price but I feel like there's better. Still great value and very tasty though
Happy hour cocktails are good!
Pretty great brunch. Great small plate options. Would be even better if drinks were included with the unlimited offering
Solid atmosphere and good people. Highly recommend going
Great service and happy hour deals
Lovely place, chill and great food, stuff very nice
This place has 4 stars and I'm really not sure how. We picked it based on the yelp reviews. We arrived on a Friday night around 8pm and there was a full lounge/DJ experience going on in the loft above the dining area. It took about 10-15 min before our server came over. She was nice but seemed distracted. I ordered a steak which was lackluster. I had to send it back because the steak was cook well and I asked for medium rare. The whole restaurant turns into a club at night which meant getting out of the restaurant was annoying. We had to push by some many drunks.
The food and cocktail I had were delicious and our waitress was really nice and attentive as well. Will definitely return.
Great rooftop bar, but the drinks are a bit overpriced for this place. 25 bucks for 3 beers? No option of a pitchers etc.
Had OpenTable reservation for 7, arrived on time. Asked about rooftop and were instructed which way to go. The inside looks beautiful, well decorated. The roof top doesn't have a few of anything, but still nice to sit outside. The table we had was so wobbly drinks would spill a bit. Waiter said he had a wedge to fix... Never came with it. Took order wrote nothing down and forgot a bit of it. Had to come back to confirm. Had a few cocktails, decent average at best, had to send one back as undrinkable. Which they gladly replaced which was nice. Cocktails were served in plastic disposable cups which is a let down. The other two levels had real glasses. The rooftop place was not busy, three staff were watching the TV often and not attentive. Had to keep flagging them down for water or another drink. When we ordered the steak they didn't even asked how to cook it. Arrived well done. It was seasoned well and could have been decent if not over cooked. Had high hopes, but was let down over and over. If I did go back, I would try the middle or lower inside area instead. To top it off.. OpenTable sent us a nasty gram for missing the reservation. They never checked us in. Now we have to clean that up as well
Great portobello burger and good size screen for watching games
Great drinks and great service
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and the drinks have the jazziest names!! The wings are a must!!!
went for brunch. got sick b4 brunch. it was a group event.... I did not touch anything or ate anything due to getting sick right as I walked in ..... in the end they still made me pay 55 USD for nothing I consumed.
Brunch was very good. Great service. Reasonable price.
Nice place to gather with friends. Good service.
Wonderful staff- fantastic atmosphere! Every space here is a super fun. From the downstairs bar, dining seating, upstairs area, patio, to the roof top bar, you’ll have a great time everywhere. Food is fabulous, try the cheese fritters for an appetizer and the chicken for an entre. BTW Tito’s vodka is gluten free and they have it by the water here !
Pretty good food. Worth the price but I feel like there's better. Still great value and very tasty though
Fun of course!! Go Blues!!!
I've had my board dinners here twice now. The space, the staff, the food, and the cost are all excellent. Highly recommend for smallish events.
Great all you can eat brunch. You can keep ordering off the menu of small plates until your heart is content. Great atmosphere. Mimosas were quality
I had been to Wilson Hardware Kitchen & Bar a few times, mostly for Happy Hour and the indoor/outdoor bar at night. I like the big industrial space a lot with the high ceilings and the outdoor patio area, but I never really sat down for a meal until a couple weeks ago. My girlfriend wanted to have a birthday dinner in the Clarendon area and then go out afterwards, so we decided on Wilson Hardware since it's a fairly large venue. We reserved a table for 16+ people about a week in advance. It was fairly easy to reserve a table for the occasion and they were accommodating. We arrived and had to wait until more than half of our party was present, which was fine since we just grabbed drinks outside. The table they set up was on the second floor, so it was pretty much a private space with some tables they put up temporarily. It was a nice and isolated spot for our group. The service was absolutely fantastic at Wilson Hardware. All of the hosts, servers, and wait staff were exceptional. We were really blown away by the great service and our waiter, Chris, was so helpful. The food was also very delicious. We didn't come in with high expectations for food at a large bar, but we were very pleasantly surprised. I ordered the caprese sandwich and my girlfriend got the mushroom sandwich, both of which were very flavorful and delicious. Fries were yummy too. Overall, super positive experience at Wilson Hardware. They were a great place to have a large birthday dinner and they're service was amazing compared to other places I have gone for birthday parties.
It get's a little crowded on the weekends, but the rooftop bar is amazing... great cocktails and fantastic staff! They really did manage to transform this space into something totally new. I'm surely looking forward to getting back there again!
I'm torn over this review. The server was great, but everything else was hit and miss. It was a nice night so we sat outside, but the table was shoved up against a wall and rolled and tilted the whole mall in addition to being permanently at an angle. The beer was fine, prices in line with the area, the cheap beer option being Miller Lite and Eggenberg (which was a nice change of pace). The food was disappointing. I ordered one of the fried pizza dough stuffed with 4 cheeses. I sent the first one back because either it had very little cheese or all the cheese had boiled out. I eventually got a replacement, but it came out when I was well into my entree. My SO liked the mushrooms she got as a starter, but her Caesar salad with shrimp was sad... 4 little butterflied shrimp for $6. Someone nearby got a salad with salmon (a little more expensive, granted) but it had a large sizable portion. I actually really liked my Buffalo wings, but the portion for the price wasn't great. Overall, I liked the parts I liked, but I was really disappointed in the parts that I didn't like. The menu was hit and miss, so if you go, just sit inside and hope you pick his, because then you'll really enjoy it.
Ok food... service is good.. limited menu
If you want a casual atmosphere in a great part of Arlington, check out Wilson Hardware. Full bar and great food with fantastic service!
I travel often to the Washington/Virginia area, and I’ve finally found a place that caters to all of my needs: great food, clean/lively ambiance, and efficient service. Highly recommend the Asian Steak Salad, hand-cut fries, and “Bright Idea” signature drink. Definite must in Arlington. The crowd alone is worthy of a visit!!!
One of the better rooftops in Clarendon. Great for happy hour.
Exceptional food, drinks, and service. Always a great time here!!
I loved going out here on the weekend for the first 3 times then realized they play the exact same songs every night, get a new dj or a rotation of music and we'll be back
Decent happy-hour specials and nice rooftop bar/restaurant area perfect in the milder months. Alcoholic slushies are amazing.
Good food, but one of our entrees was well below filling.
Love their outdoor patio. The food was good but of the items we tried it was a bit inconsistent (some really yummy and others just ok) I'll definitely come here again to enjoy a drink.
Simply great. Best to arrive early at opening for the best service. Lots of variety, small plates, bottomless drinks. Hope to return soon! Everything was tasty, well prepared and plated beautifully!
Came with a big group of friends to celebrate a birthday last Thursday. We were ordering a lot of food and drinks when the manager with tattoos on her arm came over and asked what we were celebrating. After telling her it was our friend’s birthday she gave us some shots to help celebrate! Her and the other staff were very friendly and attentive the whole night. Drinks and food were amazing as well for a decent price. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
Beautiful decor. 2 outdoor spaces. Friendly staff. Most unique place in Clarendon
Great atmosphere and food
This place is awesome! The staff is exceptional and the food is delicious and fresh.
Great new bar in the arlington area.
Loving the industrial contemporary vibe coming from this place! Good beer and great happy hour spot!
This is one amazing place! The crowd is lit and the music was amazing. They had the 90’s music playing. The whole floor became the dance floor post 12! Highly recommended for a fun night out.
Always have fun here and it's a great alternative to the usual Clarendon scene. Looking forward to spring on the outdoor patio
I couldn't see my burger because of the bizarre lighting. When I picked it up it instantly fell apart. This place is quite average and quite expensive for what it is. The rest of the menu is completely uninspired
Great decor , love the multiple levels and rooms feels very spacious.
Amazing food, drinks, service and atmosphere! Try the guacamole burger. Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had.
So disappointed!! The rooftop bar is less than overwhelming unless you're interested in looking at the side of a building. Drinks served in plastic cups harkened back to college days, which would be fine if we were not ordering top shelf liquor. We've experienced rooftop bars all over the country and this one is embarrassing. We ordered the avocado burgers which tasted like they were microwaved. The french fries were down right greasy. To top it off, Tito's on the rocks with a splash of cranberry constituted a $3.00 up charge for the splash of cranberry....ridiculous! We are new to the area and were looking for a fun, quality experience. If we could give this place less than 1 star we would!!
Atmosphere was nice and they played good music when we visited late morning. Service was quick in the beginning and we received our food pretty quickly. Food was good, but not a great value for the price. After the meal, it took forever to get our check. After the waitress took our cards it took an additional 15-20 min to be able to sign and leave. They weren't even that busy. Will try a different place next time.
I brought workmates there for a happy hour social. Awesome time. Great bartender and great specials. We'll be back!
Staff was short handed on a busy Sunday when our birthday party of about 20 dropped in: they handled things really smoothly! Fun atmosphere, good menu and drinks.
Food was pretty good and the outdoor seating is a plus. Enjoyed the atmosphere
Nice atmosphere and great food!
Nice place for a large party. My friend alhas a private area upstairs. We had a nice time celebrating her birthday. Food and drinks were good.
Was here for a short time at night so it was hard to tell but seemed nice
Went there last night and it was very good, nothing amazing though. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, my drinks were good (the one with rum, whiskey, vanilla, and chocolate bitters was the best) though my boyfriend had a terrible old fashioned. I had the avocado burger and it was cooked exactly as ordered, but was a preformed patty and nothing to write home about. I wouldn't hesitate to go back if friends were going there, but probably wouldn't seek it out.
Awesome rooftop
A little pricey with the food but the actual location is amazing and the staff are incredibly polite and helpful. The drinks are worth the money and or wait! Will be coming here often.
Good cocktails. Excellent outdoor space
Cool looking club inside. Slightly odd everyome congregates on the tiny roof.
So much space to unleash your wild side. Plenty of room to watch the game and congregate with friends. This is a fun spot with lots of options for great food and drinks, too.
Great food and good drinks! Great happy hour too!
Awesome happy hour at a cool spot! They have a heated rooftop bar that's a great spot for an after work drink. Definitely recommend for a nice place to go with friends or coworkers!
Quite loud... Hard for conversations. Food was average at best yet pricey. Service was mediocre; they were completely confused when delivering our dishes. Restaurant is going for 'trendy' and if that's your thing this may suffice. But if you expect better food/service for the price you may want to look elsewhere.
Wilson Hardware is a little more upscale. I like the atmosphere for sitting and talking. Whether you're at the dinner tables.
Such a fun time here. Great food, exquisite decor, and perfect date spot
The bottomless brunch is excellent—great food at very reasonable prices. They also have good coffee (Lavazza, I believe), which is a huge plus. I highly recommend Wilson Hardware to anyone in the area.
They have great happy hour specials even if you are on a diet! The Brussels sproutsare delicious and bottles of wine are half off on Tuesdays!
Brunch here is amazing. Every small plate we tried was spectacular.
Excellent staff with an artsy and all- American feel. A very nice addition to the Arlington hot spots :)
This brunch was really good! Our waiter was very friendly and helpful and the different flavors of mimosas are such a great idea. The purple mimosa is so delicious! I love this place for brunch on Sundays.
A large interconnected set of indoor and outdoor areas, each with a different purpose and vibe. We enjoyed the dinner in one of the curbside outdoor areas, which featured nicely sized portions, fresh and tasty entrees, and an intriguing selection of cocktails. A good example of Clarendon's expanding and improving options.
Solid spot for casual drinks or a nice meal. Low key patio and roof top as well.
So I've been coming here every Sundays at Wilson hardware where for a while now and honestly the service here is amazing. Gabby always stops by and checks on me to make sure if I need anything even if she's not my server. Sarah already after 2 visits knows what my drinks are and it's very like conversational. I couldn't ask for a better service here as far atmosphere here goes very modern louge but you guys gotta come here for brunch, it's amazing.
chill place with good happy hour options!
Love the vibe here great customer service .... will come back soon
Brunch food is good, they offer carafes of mimosas for cheap too. Great selection of menu items to choose from as well as drinks. Chill atmosphere, a little dark inside.
Food was good (especially Scallops). I would like to believe it was because they chose to host two events in one night but the food took almost an hour to come out and the sides came out cold.
Good atmosphere, with multiple bars over multiple levels including an outdoor rooftop. Expensive drinks but not atypical for the area.
Unless you’re coming here for the bottomless food, it is a waste of time. $9 for a sandwich the size of my thumb.
My boyfriend and I LOVE Wilson Hardware. The appetizers have been our favorite part so far, but the Nailed It and Adjustable Wrench cocktails are also up there. We have now been for dinner twice and stopped by for late night drinks. It's officially one of our favorite, go-to places in Clarendon.
Great food. Good service. Will definitely go back.
My group arrived around 4:30pm on a Tuesday and we were the only people in the restaurant for a bit. Happy hour prices were good, and the appetizers were really yummy. The Tongue & Groove cocktail ($6) was tasty and nice and strong. For apps we had the Brussels sprouts ($7) and the Hardware Fritters ($6). I'd recommend both! We also ordered the duck confit to share, but we were super disappointed in the dish and didn't end up eating it. I think we were hoping for more of a truffle taste, but the whole thing seemed kind of bland. Our server was kind enough to take it back and didn't charge us.
Fun!
Even though it was relatively slow the service took quite a while. Great venue and live music.
Something different for Arlington. Big spot as they all are, but somehow doesn't feel as artificial as many other nearby venues.
Great food and service! Also two outdoor decks at this upscale bar.
Great happy hour prices and selections, located right in the heart of Clarendon. Has a very wide selection of food to choose from as well. This place is great but it can get really busy past 8 and the rooftop is kind of small but still nice if you can find a spot.
Last year, I had the pleasure of attending a Octogafest and Wilson Hardware was one of the eateries providing light bites. That's when my friend and I decided to schedule a trip to Arlington. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, less than an hour after it opened. I was a little worried since we didn't have a reservation, but the restaurant seated us without any problems. Once seated, we ordered drinks and I decided to go with the Oh Dang shrimp -Bayou N' bag. I appreciate the fact that everything is weighed. We ordered the crawfish mac and garlic noodle sides too. Both were yummy! We finished with a plate of piping hot beignets. Everything was fresh plus I had a to go container filled with shrimp, potato, & corn. Our server was also good. He was working multiple tables but didn't miss a beat. I thought our food would take longer since the restaurant had filled up quickly. Would I return? Most definitely. I like the casual vibe, raunchy tees, and plastic bibs. Good eats and good company leads to great conversation!
Great place with a great rooftop bar. Has heat lamps for when it's colder too
Decent HH specials, including food. Great service, good ambiance
Food was really tasty and they did a really nice job working around dietary restrictions.
What kind of a bar can't even make a margarita. Ours was watered down and tasteless. We also ordered the calamari. No good either. We were excited to be on the rooftop but ended up closing out our bill. We left tip for the runner but not for the bartender.
Good happy hour drinks
Amazing space with delicious food! The rooftop is perfect addition to the area and on the weekends this place gets packed with some of the best crowds in Arlington. This is will definitely be one of my regular spots in Arlington. Faris and Walid and the team there are excellent hosts!!!
The bottomless brunch is to die for.
Pretty average food (had steak and shrimp) other than an excellent chocolate hazelnut cake. Good bar atmosphere, friendly and fairly attentive service.
Really nice bar. Great food. Outside bar great place to hang out and watch some games.
They have good specials
Awesome place. Great food and service. The rooftop is fun and the vibe is great. We will be regulars for sure!
Me. Winter went over the limit with this drink, I had no idea what I wanted to drink, at first I wanted a mimosa, but at the same time I wanted something sweet, so he said let me surprise and he made me a strawberry
My new favorite place to go in Arlington. The service is amazing, the atmosphere is very cool- transports me to a hip bar in Brooklyn. Drinks are crafty and food is great. Management is doing a fabulous job.
Fun place. Great service. We enjoyed the video dj playing all kinds of music.
Good drinks, good food, loud bar overall
90s themed dance party was fun. Sound system is ok, not word class like clubs in DC. Drinks were fine. Crowd was a bit bro ish. DJ disbanded great job if keeping the 90s theme going!
Great music and atmosphere.
Truly nothing special, except for the 'instagrammable' wall. The hostess and our waitress were actually quite rude to us throughout happy hour, which probably affected the way I felt about anything we had while we were there.
This was my first time here and we really like it. We sat on the patio and had supper. My burger was cooked perfectly, with out a problem and a delicious glass of wine. We had calamari as an app, which was great. The waitress was wonderful. Overall a good experience and a lovely evening.
While the cocktails look interesting and the food listed on the menu was inviting, the service failed on several accounts from the moment we sat down to 2 mins after we ordered drinks and food. I hope that the unwelcoming and rude attitude from the server was a result of him being so severely inexperienced and untrained and not a standard of this establishment.
Food, drinks, and service were outstanding. We were a group of four on a Saturday night who asked to be seated in a area of the restaurant that might be quieter so we could talk and not have to shout. (I know, Clarendon on Sat. , what was I thinking). We were seated in the smaller dining section, but between two large parties of 10+. Could barely hear our server. Two beers we selected from the menu were not available, and no decaf coffee. However those things will not deter me from going back at a quieter time. I look forward to trying the outdoor dining area and maybe have a no-shout conversation with friends. The decor and architecture are stunning. Great vibe and addition to Clarendon. Everyone in my group enjoyed their food, and the drinks were stellar.
Small menu, but good food. Ordered the calamari and brussel sprouts and they were delicious. The crab cake was a little bit undercooked for my liking, but there was a lot of crab. Also got the scallops which were delicious.
Good place.
Food was really good. Would have given 5 stars for better beer selection
Great food and very accommodating for children
Great drinks, cool ambiance!
SO LOUD. Everyone in there is shouting! It was so bad that we had to leave and my ears were ringing long after we left. They need to install some acoustic panels to cut down on the noise.
Great rooftop bar! The brunch is very good too. But come knowing that drinks are on the pricy side. Edit: After the brunch I just had, upping the number of stars from 4 to 5. We did not get the bottomless brunch and it was still so great! I can recommend the hardware hash browns, chicken and waffles, and the hibiscus mimosa! The mimosa was so great and a good deal for 5 bucks.
Absolutely had the best birthday brunch there! They were able to accommodate my group of 20+ people around the holiday season, the food was delicious and our waiter was so nice! Definitely recommend
If you come here for brunch and do not get the bottomless, it is NOT worth it. We ordered a $9 “sandwich” and it was a total of 3 bites. I was embarrassed for the server, the management and my friends I brought along with me. All I could do was laugh. There’s a reason this place was not busy on Mother’s Day during brunch. I
Nice beer garden at the roof. Bar well stocked with draft beer choices and other drink types. Cosy place to visit with friends . Just 1.5 blocks away from the Clarendon metro stop. Lots of restaurant choices on the roads around the station exit
I LOVE this restaurant. The food is soo good and all of the drinks are amazing. There's also a great atmosphere whether you're inside or on the roof / patio. Favorite place for dinner or happy hour
Fun, open, modern, good food. Staff is great, especially the manager.
Interesting drink menu with some excellent brunch options
Excellent service, great variety of small plates for brunch. Definitely try the hibiscus mimosa or the bloody mary, both were tasty!
The lounge upstairs was perfect for a group of friends who want to sit and eat. Food was okay, better than most bars. Fries and house dipping sauce were awesome. Liked the drinks and servers were very nice! Wait was supposed to be 30 mins but was half that. Will return with friends.
Great atmosphere!
Pretty empty for a Wednesday. Food was good but small and the beer choices are not fantastic.
Great vibes and good times
Loud bar with large crowd for Friday happy hour. Bar food. Attentive staff.
Food was awesome!!
Came for a birthday. Great spot.
Very nice place for happy hour or casual meet up.
We have been here for the brunch 4 or 5 times. It's an all you can eat tapas style menu, and you get $2 mimosa carafes (of which they have a variety of flavors). The menu is pretty expansive, and you get a bunch of small plates to share. My favorites are the short rib hash (a must) and the Monsieur Hardware - which is basically a fancy ham and cheese sandwich on amazing bread. The chicken and waffles are great also. The staff is very inviting and friendly, and the waiters are attentive. The bar is nice and modern and the seating comfortable and spacious enough to not feel on top of other people. Overall this is a great place for a group brunch, you can find items on the menu for everyone!
Rooftop lit
A lively neighborhood bar and restaurant with two levels and a giant screen TV. We went to watch the Oscars and have dinner, and enjoyed the energetic and laid back atmosphere. People in formal attire were attending a private party upstairs, which added to the overall vibe. Good food, reasonably priced, and an attentive waiter will bring us back.
Professional setting for a happy hour drink with colleague or friends
Clean, fancy, great menu and great food. Definitely recommend it for a night to in Arlington.
Went for the first time last week for a happy hour on their top floor roof deck - wonderful time, great drinks, great happy hour prices! One thing to note was the elevator does not go all the way to the top floor bar, but there are plenty of options for outdoor seating thats handicap accessible!
Good spot for drinks (did not dine as we went to the rooftop bar). Rooftop bar was fantastic, and the two bartenders were super nice.
Awesome bar fair pricing best Dj in CLARENDON
Matt and Brian at the roof top bar are great. They’re personable, give great food suggestions, and know good music.
We were here for 40 minutes and the server came by once... Horrible service.
Club bar with a few hidden gem draft beer options
The only thing about this place was the food. But it was OK. Nothing more. The worst thing was the manager trying to solve a problem and making it worst. The bad smell didn't help either. Bad experience. Won't be coming back.
Good brunch, but the menu is a bit half baked. Some of these newer restaurants try to put a flair on every single menu item, but sometimes the classics are best left alone!
This is a great bar for food and drinks. The service was great and our waiter was very helpful. I enjoyed it here but it was a little loud depending on where you sit. If you're looking for a quiet place to sit down and eat this isn't it. If you're going out for drinks after work or just looking to get food and drink then I would recommend it.
I rounded up because the hostess was sweet. I had four different servers make and break eye contact but couldn't get service. Looks trendy AF tho, I'm sure they'll do well.
Good food, good drinks, finally a place that is splitting up the crowds in Clarendon! One nitpick, keep the music low on the rooftop. It's nice to be able to have a place to actually talk to people.
