Our family was there for Hokie Focus day. It was quite crowded. I assume it will not be so on normal school days. They are not set up to take cash at all which is a problem for days like this. But, the food was good.

I can't believe I am rating the dining facility at Virginia Tech but they live up to the hype of one of the best in the nation. Literally, the quality and variety of a cruise ship. Friendly and plentiful staff. Lucky students!

Had lunch here during a campus visit. The Southwest Chicken Salad was filling and yummy! My daughter ordered from a different area (the grill?) and had 1/4 chicken with mashed potatoes, gravy, and cornbread. It was also very good and plentiful (she didn't finish everything) and the cornbread was so good she didn't even bother to put butter on it. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Kudos to VT for having great dining options.

There's a reason Virginia Tech has won awards for their dining facilities. Be warned, this isn't a regular restaurant. It's an on campus dining hall, which means there's no parking anywhere near here unless you have the right parking permits from the university, but they do allow customers who aren't students, and they accept regular forms of payment if you're not on a dining plan. Because this is a college campus, leave your firearms at home.

Hot chicken tender salad. Wheat penne with meat sauce. London broil with mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy. Peanut butter pie. All of its heavenly.

I have never had a bad experience in this dining center. I take all of my visitors to West End. The only negative thing I have to say is that it's pretty expensive if you don't use a hokie passport- but that tends to be a theme around campus.

Wired in west end forgot my order. I ordered apple juice and after 15 minutes, I inquired if my order was being made. The girl told me it was a long process even though it was clearly seen that no one was making it, no one was in line, and the apples were clearly seen on the table - not peeled or even getting ready to be juiced. I finally got it after 30 minutes because the lady didn’t write my order down. It was immediately made after ANOTHER ORDER was put down. Apple juice is mediocre. They also have smoothies but only a select few. I recommend freshens at owen’s over this place. Freshens has a wider selection, are clean, and have a short waiting time.

Oh West End is so delicious. Sunday brunch is my favorite. The pancakes are giant and they have the best home fries. The Hokie Grill does great hamburgers and chicken tenders. But my absolutely favorite lunch are the Reuben's from the sandwich place.
