The VI captures the essence of Vienna in years gone by. They still serve chilidogs and beer. You can get a good salad, hamburger, fish taco or filet there, too. The servers push to bring you more beer and if you want soda or water, you get it yourself. You pay at the register on the way out where they ask you to recount what you ate and drank. They don't yell at you as much as the previous owners, Mike and Molly did.

Nothing too special, but the perfect small town dive and great any time of day. I think their customer service has been heightened, or we got a more attentive server! Chili great for lunch and dinner any way (on a dog or with mac), and scrapple at breakfast to help clog your arteries. Anyone can get crayons to color a placemat.

If you want a salad, zero grease, or a low calorie fix, go somewhere else. If you want a chili dog with enough chili on it to require no less than three napkins, a spoon, and a bottle of antacids, this your place. Super cheap. Three people can eat here for under $40, with drinks. Also, soda is self-serve. You want your drink, go and get it. Self seating too. The place feels quite small, but it has a bar and several booths.

I love this place. No matter where you're from, when you drink here you're treated like you live here. It's definitely a local bar, but In a good way, not in the way where you feel like an outsider. Looks like a dive. Feels like a dive. Prices are reasonable. A staple of the community. Locals go here. Little League teams (and their parents) go here. But so do Cobra (car) enthusiasts. For breakfast, I prefer Western omelet with cheese, and a side of bacon. Comes with potatoes and toast. Otherwise, try their chili dogs and chili mac, "all the way" for both. Also has a bar and counter in the middle. Be prepared to sit next to total strangers at your table. It's crowded, especially in the evening.

Definitely a retro hangout. Modest from both the outside and inside. Self service tea and filter coffee. Crooked, battered furniture. We had breakfast and it was the deal though. Very simple but home cooked. If you are happy with that you will be good to go.

She told me and my friend that we needed to try getting an actual job and see how hard it was to work in a restaurant. As i said the food was good but absolutely abysmal customer service.

This establishment is like a monument in Vienna, but the food was less than decent. They are known for chili dogs and beer, but the items ordered during my visit are on most TGIF or Chili's menus and they were not good quality. Will go for just a beer next time, if I do go back.

No longer a motel, this classic dinner serves excellent food in a quick manner and relies on the customers honesty when it come to the bill. I will quickly list some of the positive things included in the Vienna Inn dinner. -Take out option (food to go) -Local advertising -Smoke free hospitality (smoking allowed outside) -Self serve drinks -Small, more personal staff -Inexpensive food when comared to fast food restaurant proportions. One small note: If you're facing the the Dinner's front, Vienna Inn's parking entrance is located behind the right, neighboring building.

One of my favorite places in Vienna, period. Very much a dive bar - but don’t let that fool you. Their chili dogs are TOP notch - I recommend them fully loaded. They have draft birch beer on tap. Decent beer selection. Fair amount of seating and parking. It’s a must visit place if you are in the area.

If you love dives then you will love Vienna Inn. Everything is very low-key because no one is there to sit in some spiffy booth, they are there for the chili. For next to nothing (compared to standard NOVA/DC prices) you can get two chili dogs and a soda - it doesn't get any better than that!

This is a local favorite that was recommended to me and I am now recommending to you! First off, the prices are fantastic. My wife and I ordered two Fully Loaded Dogs, onion rings, zucchini sticks, a beer, and a soda and paid only $21. You can’t get food for that cheap anywhere in NOVA. Secondly, the food was good! The beer battered onion rings were great; the onion didn’t pull out of the batter when bit in to. The chili dogs were good, though the hotdogs could have been higher quality. But again, cheap. And the beer came in a frosted mug, adding to the already homey bar atmosphere. And the staff was so friendly. It felt like a place you’d want to be regulars at and we intend to be.

This place is a Vienna institution. I've been going here literally since I was a baby, never had a bad experience. Don't miss the chili dogs, chili mac, their awesome chicken wings, burgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, and some of their "fancier" specials like blackened fish tacos are incredible as well. Even if you are trying to behave yourself, their salads are super fresh and pretty good. I wouldn't recommend going to this place for lunch if you are in a big rush, since the kitchen can become overwhelmed. If you order ahead, then it fixes that problem.

Fun place to hang out. Don't come expecting gourmet food or anything remotely trendy. Vienna has plenty of overpriced places you can go to if that's what you're looking for. Decor is dumpy - as it da@n well should be for a dive bar. The food is bar food - comforting and unsophisticated American comfort food. Get the chili dogs. Gooey spread cheese and all. Beer is pretty cheap with a decent selection. Wait staff is friendly, sometimes sassy, and all around fun. So stop being an uptight NoVA wannabe dilettante and check this place out.

Well known local bar/burger joint. Has a dive bar atmosphere but the clientele is a mix of all social strata. Food is pretty much typical bar food. Service is not great. Usually pretty crowded. I think folks go there for the blue collar feel.

Me and my buddy have been coming here after the gym for a pitcher of bud heavy and 4 dogs all the way for some time now. Great family spot by day, better bar/sports bar by night (though kids are still welcome). Never tried anything but the dogs and the beer but neither disappoints.

i love this place because it's frozen in time. the ceiling panels are yellowed with smoke from an era where you could still smoke indoors, the bathrooms are small and dingy, and you seat yourself when you walk in. crayon drawings on place mats line the walls. as for the food and drink, there's a small, but decent beer selection, and cheap chili cheese dogs. in fact, all the food is cheap and decent. this place gets busy in the evenings with all sorts of people...locals, sports teams, kids, people getting home from work, etc. gets busy around sunday brunch time too.

We have lived in the area for over 10 years and just discovered the Vienna Inn. Food was perfect. Mahi Mahi and grilled shrimp. Cooked perfectly. The steamed carrots and mashed potatoes delicious. Price is right too.

This place is a classic and a must-visit. It has the welcoming feel for newcomers while also being a standard for daily regulars. Decent beer selection. And the food is great! I just wish they stayed open longer and offered wifi. Sometimes taken over with kids and little league teams, which is probably great if you have kids but pretty excruciating if you don't.
