Absolute disaster of an establishment. Slow service. They gave my credit card to another customer, who closed my tab and walked away with it. The bartender insisted multiple times that she had given it to me and it was probably in my pocket. Eventually the manager came and they weren't even apologetic, just stated "it was busy, it happens." Moreover, was here for the Champions League final, and in one half they had the game on, but in the other half it took them until after halftime to put the game on the TV. This is likely the most watched soccer game of the year (non-WC years). Will never return.

Horrible experience at this restaurant! I was really excited to visit Summers since I’m such a huge soccer fan and they have great happy hour specials. However, the visit was terrible. A friend and I went to Summers on a Monday to take advantage of their Monday burger deal. From the start, our waiter was horribly rude (to the point where I actually asked my friend if we had ever done anything to this stranger to make him hate us). Still we stayed and both ordered beers and burgers. The beer was fine but when the burgers came out, both of our buns had mold on them! We sent pictures (shown below) to 2 friends of ours who both confirmed it was mold. When the waiter came back my friend politely asked him what was on her bun. He quickly took her plate, saying he “couldn’t really see it,” and raced back to the kitchen. After a few minutes, he came back and said that it was just how the buns were cooked and that he put a new bun on her burger. I then told him that mine had the same thing and actually had to hold my plate so he couldn’t run off with it. We told him that we knew it was mold and didn’t feel safe eating it. To this he responded with a shrug (an actual shrug!) and said that it was just how the bun is and we shouldn’t be worried. I again repeated that we didn’t feel safe eating mold and that just putting a new bun on it didn’t help. Once again, he shrugged and said “well I guess if you won’t eat it then I’ll just take it.” He never once apologized for the gross food he served us. Needless to say we didn’t eat any of the food there and never will! I’ve never met a server who was so rude and casual about serving mold to customers! I would recommend checking your food before you eat here, if you even eat here at all.

This place squanders a perfectly good liquor license. I guess it's a good place to go if you want to watch soccer and Four Courts is full, but I have always found the food to be bland and the staff to be not very friendly.

I love their burgers and fries. I always ask for a well-done burger, and they've always been perfect. The fries are piping hot with the right level of crispiness, and tender on the inside. I have always been treated courteously at Summer's. The atmosphere is relaxing (I've only been at lunch time during the week) and I can chill and enjoy a delicious lunch.

I am a regular and most of the staffs know me. They became my friends and they are nice, courteous, and treat their customers with respect. The food and drinks are great here. This is the place to be when you want to have some fun and just hang out with friends and family.

Reason I give it one star is because I have been assaulted at summer's restaurant 2 times on two separate occasions during the comedy nights thursdays and fridays. One of the host has sexually assaulted me and the other has punched me in the chest. I will not be coming back any time soon because of these shows. They have ruined summers restaurant for me. DO NOT GO UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ASSAULTED.

Menu on their website has lower prices than the menu in the restaurant. When I brought it to the bartenders attention, he simply said that the website’s prices were no longer the same, and I was charged the higher price. Unapologetic, matter of fact, and deceptive. We will not eat here again.

I happened to be around DC when CONMEBOL qualifiers were taking place so I decided to give this restaurant a try. Beverages were OK, but what really surprised me was a U$20 cover to watch the matches, while the cost of the qualifiers package was U$29.99. There is no way I'm gonna pay that much for watching a soccer match in TV. I guess for "popular" tournaments that are on any bar, this place is OK, but for especial events as CONMEBOL qualifiers, it just sucks.

Claims to be a soccer bar, but didn't really feel like it. Not very festive and it felt like an old McDonald's really. If you are looking for a soccer bar, Ireland's Four Courts is across the street.

We went here last night for dinner, Totally disgusting food the so-called Fish selection was so greasy ,oily Supposed to be a Cod dinner, My Man's dinner was equally awful .The French Fries were hard and cold. No one else was eating only people at the bar. That should have been are warning signs not to eat here. Our first time in this establishment and the last. We should have told the owner to eat this crap and walked out. The young man that waited the table gets the one star. I needed a Zantac after this one bite of this nasty food.

Had a great time there tonight, thanks to server George. My husband and I were there for a wrestling pay-per-view, and we found that George is also a wrestling fan. We had a good time thanks to his friendliness and attentive and quick service. The food was okay, pretty standard sports bar fare (we each ordered mozzarella sticks to start, with chicken strips as our entree).

If you're going to watch a game that's NOT live, DON'T BOTHER COMING HERE! I have been coming to Summers to catch soccer games for years because they are organized enough to post schedules of their live AND DVR'd games, which I find super convenient for games played while I'm at work. Service has always been slow but at least you get to watch good soccer game, perhaps even 2 at once. However, yesterday, I went to catch the 3 World Cup games that got played during the day and they refused to turn them on! After 15 minutes of waiting with no TVs tuned in, I showed them their viewing schedule and asked if they could start the recorded games in the schedule. But the bartender said "no, that's over...but you can watch this other game". The staff don't know how to work the TV system so if the owner isn't there, your day is hosed as they will say anything, including lie about a pre-recorded game that is supposed to play at a time that they post on their site. Sad!

Summers is a regular spot for meetings I attend. The staff is friendly and the options acceptable. I typically only eat the burgers, and find them to be good. The beer selection is decent for a typical bar; it has at least one option for everyone, from those who enjoy craft beer to those who enjoy mass produced light beer.

This is a table service restaurant that offers traditional American fare. It's small and a bit claustrophobic showing its age. The food was pretty good and reasonably priced.

A place for soccer, some typical bar food, and big omelets for brunch. Straight forward tap list and wine list with reasonably stocked bar. This place is known for showing any and all soccer games and adjusting their hours for this purpose. I mean what place opens at the crack of dawn for the World Cup? This place. My go to here is the Western omelette on weekends or a great steak and cheese during the week. They also have a burger special Monday.

A really great sports bar to be at during the Bayern Munich gameday or the Germany Football team games. The bar is the official hangout spot of the DC Bayern Capitol 11, the official fan club of Bayern Munich Football Club. If you're down there do try Paulaner, the German beer brewed in Munich.
