Went to order food for take out. Ordered salad with little spice and the delivery took my food while we were waiting. Driver got back and finally delivered our food while we were waiting. Took food home and was incredibly Spicy and burned my mouth. Called and asked to send food as asked for and after 45 minutes and nothing. I no longer asked for anything and asked for a credit. Mentioned I would post a review and the phone hung up. We live only 2 miles away.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the DMV. The food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere and Ambience is so wonderfully quaint and quiet. I've had two birthday celebrations here and the first one, I did not know at the time, they did karaoke, so my birthday party ended up being extra special because I Love karaoke. The service is also always very good and I often come throughout the week to pick up take out as well.

Loved the feel of the restaurant. The food was good but I felt it needed a little more salt, (quick fix with soy sauce) but it arrived quickly. Portions are fairly large and prices range in the 10-15 dollar average. Boba Tea (pearl shakes) was great and I see myself coming back just for that alone. There's also a cozy bar inside the restaurant that's great for small groups of friends but can get crowded during happy hour. I would recommend this place for a casual dinner with a loved one or with friends.

There is good Thai food then there is this place. Worst Pad Thai ever! Dry, bland, no heat ... And the the long black hair in the bottom of the box was a horrific surprise. I have eaten better tasting Thai from the freezer section. Yuck!

Great Thai cuisine. Great flavor to the drunken noodles with plenty of kick. Tofu summer rolls had an awesome peanut sauce. Ginger Perfect had a very nice ginger sauce with fresh veggies. Very friendly and knowledgeable wait staff. Did not go when it was Tabb, can't say how it has changed since becoming Silk Thai.

Outstanding experience with excellent value! The noodles were lightly fried, and the egg rolls were an interesting sweet / light flake crust, almost like a pastry. One plate was enough for my wife and I, and the lemonade was a nice combination of pink / fresh lemon slices. Worth the drive. They also have a food truck!

Went today ( Wednesday ) night around 8 pm . There were only three tables occupied in the restaurant including us. We have been going here for years since we moved to Gainesville. We always go on a Friday or Saturday night . This was the first time we went on a week night. The food was good as usual but the service was bordering rude. My husband complained to the cashier when he went to pay the check. No one checked on us after the meal was served. We had two kids and were out of water. We wanted to order more but just didn't want to have to stay there any longer . They need to invest some time and training the staff in customer service.

Very very dissapointed today and im only writing a review to hoping it gets attention. I go there any chance i get and today i was so exited to get the coconut custard and sticky rice and my usual drunken noodles and i find a dead roach on my coconut custard!!! Would give 0 stars if I could. Terrible service. I ordered two meals and asked for no egg due to an allergy...the container had "no egg" written on the top when it was delivered, but sure enough...there was egg in there. I called up the restaurant and the only way they would fix it is if I drove the order in. Uhh...I ordered delivery for a reason. I didn't have a car that day to go take it back. The manager was rude and essentially refused to make it right. Will never ever come back.

I normally love this place, the food is great and I've never had a problem with my order before. Today, I ordered my food at 5:04 it is currently 6:25 and I still don't have my food. There was even a "require time" of 5:40 on the order. The least they could have done was call me so I could have decided to order from somewhere else.

I'm a little disappointed in the service. I have eaten here plenty of times in the past and will still eat in. I ordered delivery for the first time with them and found a missing main dish once it was delivered. I called and told them what was missing and the manager said to credit us for the item. If it was a side I would have been happy but one of my party now had no food as this was a main dish. Not a good answer for the issue at hand. I told them it's a main dish one of my party still wants it, I was told they would make a new one and send it over. It would also take between 45-60 min. They did manage to deliver it quicker but it was obviously not a new dish, as it was cold. Very poor management at this restaurant tonight and not happy at all with the service. Really put a negative impression for the other people I was with who will never eat there again.

I recently moved close to this restaurant, and I love pad Thai. I ordered it once asked for it to be spicy, it came with zero spice. I thought I'd give them another try, so I ordered again and asked for it to be spicy, I couldn't even enjoy it, it was so spicy. I eat a lot of hot foods, and this was brutal. I tried a third time and it was not even spicy again. The flavor wasn't great, at $13 bucks for a simple chicken pad Thai order with 4 bites of chicken I didn't see the value, plus there was something in the flavor that was off. Went here with the gf and her mom, they brought out the wrong food, not thoroughly cooked, waitress could have cared less that we were even there. I don't normally leave bad reviews because I too own a business, but the quality of service and product here is awful.

They don't even deserve 1 star. I ordered delivery and they said 30 minutes we call an hour and 10 minutes later and we were told it's been sent. When it finally did come the delivery driver said they had just made it and they had just sent him. I called back to speak to a manager and of course our manager is not here. I asked to speak to the person in charge and the response I got was no one is in charge which really actually makes sense. I ordered the pad Thai and the shrimp still had the shell on it seriously people are you trying to choke people. This was the first and very last time I will ever go here. Absolutely terrible all the way around

Will never order here again. Horrible customer service. I placed an order for delivery & they brought me the wrong food. When I called back the lady had an attitude and said that's what I ordered. Good environment and food. Quality of staff varies depending on who your server is. Sometimes I walk in or out without acknowledgement. One negative, they closed early on several occasions without any notice. If their hours say they're open until a certain time, they should honor that.

First visit. I read previous reviews before going here. Saturday around 5pm. One other occupied table. Employee bicycle in the foyer. Employee getting make-up put on by two others in back corner. Was seated at table in upper area. Insufficient light over head to clearly see the menu; fortunately we spent a few minutes reviewing the wall menu outside. Ordered Vegetable Spring Rolls for appetizer and Grilled Scallops/Chicken Pad Thai for main course. Spring rolls were good, hot, and thoroughly cooked. Grilled scallops were well past done and tasted like rubber. Pad Thai was tasty (but I've had better) and had a very large portion. Service was satisfactory. I'm glad we tried it, but most likely will not visit again.

I came in with my daughter, sat down, ordered and hardly ever saw my waitress again. My shrimp rolls were burned brown black with an awful burnt taste. The soup was semi warm and cooled off very fast. Had to stand up and go ask for more water and a spicy tray. There were only three tables full including mine. The girls were at the bar talking about their personal lives not caring about the customers. Wont be back. Food not authentically Thai flavored. Bland and burned food is what I got today. Update It seems like the restaurant has changed its name and ownership some time in May 2018. My husband was the only one that went to try “Silk Thai”. Seems like they have the same dishes and cooks just different faces. Still not interested in wasting my time and money there. I have found other Thai restaurants that are worthy of my taste buds.

I wasn't feeling well and Pho always seems to help me when I am congested. I drove by this place and decided to stop by to see if they had anything like it. They didn't have what I was looking for, but the lady who greeted me was very friendly. She listened to what I was looking for and suggested that I try the Tom Yum Soup with a side of rice. She was very knowledgable about the menu and especially about what items were gluten-free. I felt very welcomed and valued. She really made my day and the soup was delicious. I will definitely go back.

I've been eating here for a while and am rarely disappointed. I usually go for the Pad Thai or Pad See-ew, but their Panang Curry and Drunken Noodle are also very good. The staff is friendly, especially if you become a regular. Only downside, don't go on a Friday night unless you are looking for live entertainment or Karaoke; it can get pretty loud in there.

Terrible customer service. Deliveries take more than an hour, and Im 10 min away. Whoever is picking up their phone is inexperienced in custoner service and the art of apologizing when youre clearly wrong. I will never return or give this place any money. Plenty of other Thai places in town.

If you are looking for an exceptional Thai restaurant without the usual burdens of a massive corporate chain, then this is the only place I would recommend you spend your hard earned money to dine.

Not sure why the average rating isn't higher. Has a lot of interesting drinks and food selection. Has a stage so probably has some kind of live music or karaoke nights. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. Made sure we got everything we needed. Really was pleased. Sad to see we were only amongst two or three other tables.

My wife and I have ordered delivery from this place pretty consistantly over the last 4 years. It was one of our favorite delivery options in the area. The food was great, delivery was fast and it was generally a great overall experience everytime. Then starting about a year ago it has gone down hill. The food is never as good and always tastes different, they consistently take 1hr to 1hr 30 min to deliver, and they put the food in foam containers when it's still so hot it melts the foam and the whole dish tastes like foam. We have found weird stuff in the food lile a piece of a sea shell?!! We have tried to give them 2nd 3rd and 4th chances but it is just worse every time. So sadly we are done with Zabb Thai.

I have been to this location quite a few times, I highly recommend the food. Service is great! The location needs to do more outreach, I live locally and found out about the place because I was wondering around the shopping center. Overall great place to dine in, it has a very relaxing interior.

I ordered delivery. Waited an hour. Then received a call that they don't deliver to my home (4.6 miles away. They said 5 miles is the max lol). I asked them how come it took an hour to let me know (My family waiting for the food for dinner). They repeated we don't deliver to your home. I said ok, please refund my purchase. With 4.2 stars I had high hopes for this place. Went there for lunch on a Sunday so I was not surprised there were only a few customers. Now I'm wondering if people already know not to come here. Not wanting to go with the typical Pad Thai choice, I asked to order one of the Chef's special dishes - Gai Yang with sticky rice. I was immediately told they don't have sticky rice only white rice. Since I can make chicken and plain rice at home, back to the menu I went. We ordered the Sampler appetizer and it was mediocre. The crab wontons had cold and tasteless cream cheese in them and the satay was very chewy. The Spring rolls were ok but i wasnt expecting them to be filled with only rice noodles. It looked like there was an attempt to make the platter decorative by piling shredded carrots atop lettuce buy the veggies looked limp. We tried a Tom Yum. It was visually appealing as it was noticeably hot, there was a lot of chicken, and a lot of chili. Sadly, as it was being stirred, you could smell the overuse of fish sauce which you could also taste. For dishes we decided to go with Pad Thai (not my choice but some folks do test the quality of a Thai restaurant by Pad Thai) and Massuman. The Pad Thai was decent and the shrimp were a good size but the Massuman was...confusing and disturbing. It was served in a fried tortilla, like the ones used for taco salads. The chicken looked too much like pressed chicken meat. I don't believe it was, but it definitely was not a choice cut of meat. On the side of the "dish" was a scoop of white rice covered with the fried onions from a can. None of this made me want to even stick my fork in anything. My fork couldn't really go through the potatoes as they were a bit too undercooked. I held out hope that the curry sauce would still be worth mixing with some Funions-free rice. Unfortunately, it tasted as if too many tablespoons of the McCormick 's hot madras curry was dumped into coconut milk to make the sauce. The only reason I gave 2 rather than 1 star was that my husband, who is not an unsweetened iced tea drinker, was pleasantly surprised at the taste AND his tea glass was kept full. That is always a bonus when out with a Southern man. There are definitely much better Thai restaurants in the Manassas area. My personal choice is Thai Peppers.

I’d been ordering from Zabb Thai regularly for about seven years. My Thai-food loving friends were always impressed, always wanted more. I guess they went under new management last year? My food was over an hour late — and of course cold. I live half a mile away. I had to call for updates and got excuses rather than apologies and service. The formerly awesome garden rolls, a meal on their own, looked like little green pickles. I didn’t bother with them. Other than hunger, I didn’t bother with any of it. I’m still sad to think that one of the best Thai restaurants in the Northern Virginia area was right down the street and suddenly became worse than the worst McDonalds.

After reading the reviews, I was excited to eat here. I ordered delivery after registering at their website. We received our food in less than an hour (timing was great). We ordered panang chicken curry (~$10) and masuman beef curry (~$12). Grand total w/ tip was $28. Food was warm, amount of serving was decent, HOWEVER, our food was not worth the money. Panang chicken curry was watery, I mean, literally. Both meat were obviously not marinated well with the soup itself. It was like they cooked the soup, then added the meat in the end. The potatoes were HARD. This was our first time ordering, and we surely will NOT order again. I felt like I was ripped off. Dinner sucked tonight. I wouldn't recommend to anybody. Duangrats in Falls Church beats this place all the way.

I would honestly give zero stars if I could. To start we waited almost 2 hr for our food and when my wife called to check the woman on the phone was rude and short. Then when we finally got our order it was wrong. We order coke they gave us diet coke, we ordered crispy bean that were super soggy and on top of it all we asked for extra say we and got none. Very disappointing

I waited an hour to get the food. By the time that the food arrived it was cold, the man quickly left the door, I do not wish to order from this restaurant again.
