Good food but rating 3 because portion size are too small, bit too noisy and permanant placement of buffet tables in the middle during dinner time made the place feel like a very average restaurant (not worth the price) and takes away the fine dinning experience. Since its new I would give it some time and give another try .. and change my rating ... but if things dont improve .. we can spend the same money else where and get better experience. Food was very good though!

Recently went there...it was bit hard to find in the night time as it was located more in a business hub part of tysons..But it was appealing..all decked up in blue lights.. I've read the good reviews so already hoping some great food and ambience... we ordered about 5-6 different items..and they all were great.. The ambience was nice..the only thing puts me off in the end was the restroom..it was not clean and spotless..but the owners and other staff members were quite open and positive for feedback..but my ultimate point for visit which was the food...was great..!!

Made a reservation for a large party (30+), and management was good about commutation and organization of our event such that everything went smoothly the day of. Everyone loved the food so much, they couldn't stop talking about it through the next day! Especially loved their Ras Malai, made to perfection. Had separate options for kids that let them in on the fun as well!

A blend of Indian and Pakistani food. We had to give it a try!. The weekend buffets are good. Though it doesn't have a lot of options like other places, i love what they serve. The non vegetarians have chicken and lamb. The lamb curry is my personal favorite. The food is flavorful and not too spicy. Roti is offered at the table. The dessert section has 2-3 options. Overall a good place for a weekend family lunch!

We heard a lot of good reviews about Sapphire and their weekend buffets so decided to visit on a Sunday. It was really disappointing, first the spread was very basic they had - burnt naan, hard almost inedible batura, veg briyani, Lamb curry ( no flavor) and some 2 -3 other items. Even with limited spread they could have done wonders if they had any semblance of taste. Instead every single dish in the buffet was just plain bad. Even the desserts - kheer( not sweet enough) and gulab jamun ( too sweet) were inedible. If this was a one off then we got really unlucky.. I would strongly advise the management to work on improving their standards

Went for a lunch meeting at Sapphire and the food was fine. Standard for an Indian Buffet but the menu didn't have anything "special." 1947 in Sterling has a much better menu and great food. Also the plates were not that clean in the buffet line. I actually picked some dried food off of one plate. Great service however. The service is why the review has the stars. Dried food and bland menu is why it lost stars.

I was invited at a friend birthday party. Food was amaizing. We had buffet special for x-mass holiday restaurant had set up for guest. 18-20 item buffet was very delicious , food was hot and well presented. Service was impressive while they had restaurant full with guest . Bihari chicken tikka was delicious with, butter chicken, samosa, avacado mango chat were among the menu. We had a great time. Feel bad because decent food was let down by some critical issues. Small portion sizes for appetizers despite high prices. Absolutely no wine list available. Chicken Tikka was cold when brought to the table. Overall not a horrible Indian restaurant, just not worthy of the "prime" designation they put in their name.

Food was not that good in taste. their charges are higher than other Desi restaurants and above all we had to pay them 19% mandatory tip though we were not happy with the food . me or my family Wont prefer to go again there

It's always nice to find a new place to try Indian food. Friday night was really low key here except for the bar area. That stayed full for the most part and the bartender seemed to have a good rapport with the customers. The chat papri was extremely tasty. We really liked the butter chicken and eggplant dish. They are very generous with their servings of basmati rice. There was leftovers for days. The surprise was getting a table visit from the owner checking in on our experience. Nice touch Sapphire!

Some of the dishes are good but it is very expensive. We went for family dinner and wanted to order from menu. They offered buffet but kids dont eat much so I said no. They keep insisting and offered $65. I said ok. When check came they charged $115. Guy forgot his offer and Manager had no idea. After negotiating paid alot of money for half a plate of food. Be careful.

There is a reason they call themselves the "Prime" place for Paki/Indian cuisine. The restaurant has one of the best Biryani in the entire USA. I have gone to a number of states to find good biryani and I am so glad I landed upon this gem of a place. Beyond food, their service is excellent! Ask for Adi as your server, and you will be treated like a royalty from this angel! This restaurant is probably my number 1 to go place in the entire DMV area!

I came to this restaurant only because my family gave me two $20 gift vouchers. Service was decent and we got seated quickly. My wife and I ordered mango lassi, samosa chaat, butter chicken, lamb seekh kabob and a naan basket. The food had good flavor, decent quantity, and overall the restaurant had a nice ambiance. I was pretty satisfied until it came time for the bill. They offered a 15% discount on the total if we checked in on Yelp, which they refused to redeem because we were using gift vouchers. It wasn't any where on the website nor voucher that the offer could not be combined with any other, but we didn't argue. We waited some time and one of the so called owners shows up and says these vouchers were for an event that occured last and so they will only honor one of them. However, no where on the voucher does it specify any date, rules, conditions, or expiration. It's not even a coupon for $20 off, but a voucher of $20. When my wife tried to bring this up, he claimed that the person who gave us the voucher had the responsibility to tell us it was only valid for the days of that event, which makes absolutely no sense. Terms and conditions should always be written on the voucher, not verbally passed around. I was truly happy to see a halal restaurant that had good food, service, and atmosphere, but due to the lack of professional management I have to rate it lower. They knew it was our first time dining here, and had they admitted their fault about the vouchers, I would've accepted it and gladly come back. However, now that's extremely doubtful.

This place is great! Our server, Dima, provided the best customer service imaginable. My husband and I were very unsure on what to try but Dima swooped right in and suggested all the good stuff. The lamb chops are heavenly, chicken biryani is good. The Pondicherry fish is ok, a little dry. The gravy in goat curry is great, but the portion is a little small. Butter chicken is avoidable, consisting of ketchupy cream with bland chicken. The wine selection is tiny, and the wines are mass produced labels. The managers are super friendly, but the service can be a little haphazard. Beers and liquor are aplenty. Some items arrive, but drinks did not materialize and we had to fetch some of them from the bar, and wait staff may not know much about the menu. Great location and ambience !

Probably the best Pakistani cuisine restuarant with a decent ambiance. Food was good. There's a sports bar on one side of the restuarant which is puzzling considering the offered cuisine. Buffet cost approximately $25/head.

I ordered a drink (coke) along with my meal on GrubHub and I got a small fountain drink filled with ice. When I ask the driver what this was, he told me that they initially forgot to include the drink and this is what they gave him eventually. I called the restaurant and I was told that “it is what it is”. Extremely disappointing.

Basic dish like Plane rice and dal is missing from buffet menu.. $16 tag for buffet on weekend is not at all worth. Very much disappointed with service too. Will not suggest this place until you don't have other option and starving for food but not getting anything else.. Who restricts dessert on buffet? Sapphire Tyson's does.

We went to dinner with family last night at Sapphire located in tysons. The food was incredibly delicious, kormas, tandoori salmon, naans, biryani were the best dishes I recommend. Oh let me tell you the place is beautiful with modern touch and service is five star. The best thing is that owners personally visit each and every table to ensure guest satisfaction. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will be back.

Just went to this restaurant over the weekend. Although the food was decent the manager (not sure if this was the owner) was rude and seemed to of never managed a restaurant before in his life. Came in for lunch and just missed the lunch buffet. Ordered a few items off the menu which included the calamari, lentil chicken soup, chicken biryani, chicken masala and garlic naan. All the food was very flavorful and tasted great. We will have to try the buffet next time since I heard so much about it from people saying it’s the best in the area. Definitely coming back since we really enjoyed our first time at this restaurant.

I must say, not only the ambience but food we ordered was extra ordinary. The customer service is at its peak of niceness and you feel royal while eating there. Food is not oily at all, so this way I was able to eat a lot and felt great when I was finished eating. I visited this s hidden gem Pakistani and Indian restaurant. Food is exceptionally delicious and service is the most friendly and to point. Recommend dishes butter chicken, Karachi chicken, and goat biryani were notable dishes. Do not forget to try ras Malai cake, and Kashmiri chai. I will definitely return.

I liked their food when I visited along with my colleagues. So one weekend I wanted to take a parcel home. The basic dinner that anyone would order is chicken tandoori and chicken Biryani. I was shocked to know that these guys do not have chicken tandoori and there were lot of confusion about it. Their online menu shows that they have it but when you call you hear otherwise. I am not sure why an Indian/Pakistani restaurant would not have a dish as basic as chicken tandoori. I hope they add it back to their menu.
