It's a very cool place! Tacos and micheladas are the main reason I keep going there. The heating man! I been going there for YEARS! in the summer the AC is broken. In the winter the Hearing is broken? I over heard the "manager" give excuses why it was not working it went from I tried to there is too much dust on it. Then blaming costumers for opening the door???? If you been there on a Friday night you know how busy this places gets! PLEASE have this fix you guys have so many costumers complaining about it. It's a cool place! Good food n alrighty drinks.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Don't go here if you have dietary restrictions or if you expect good customer service. I ordered fajitas with shrimp only. I specifically told the waitress that I only wanted shrimp, no chicken or beef. I started eating the meal when I got it and then I noticed there was beef all over the bottom of the plate. I called the waitress back and showed her and reminded her that I asked for shrimp only. I'm guessing there was a language barrier because she just walked away and the manager came back a while later. When he came, he asked what the problem was. I explained that I asked for shrimp only. Everyone at my table heard me specifically ask for shrimp only, as I say it several times for the same reason. He asked me if I wanted a discount. He never apologized or offered me another meal. I told him that I do not want a discount, I asked for shrimp only because I haven't eaten beef or chicken in over 3 years and it will make me sick. I'm not paying for a meal I can't eat because they put ingredients in there that I specifically asked to leave out. I snatched the plate and walked away. Everyone at the table of of 9 was left sitting there in shock that the manager handled the situation that way. Save your money, there are at least 3 other authentic Mexican restaurants within a block radius of this place. I will encourage all of my coworkers never to return and I will continue to tell everyone I know about my horrible experience. Mistakes happen and I understand that. As a customer, I feel like if you serve someone something that could potentially make him/her sick, don't ask if he/she wants a discount and snatch the plate with an attitude because the staff made a mistake, apologize and try to make it right.

The service is too bad. The waitresses are planted at your table and demand that you finish what you are eating or drinking because they have to close, never seen this in any other restaurant. The person who does the Karaoke on Saturday offends you on the microphone making you feel super bad, she is a person without education or respect to the client. I Tried to spend a nice evening with my family and they made me spend the worst night in that restaurant.

If you're looking for authentic Mexican (tex-mex style) then look no further! Tacos, Pozole, Chiles Rellenos, Enchilas... need I say more??? Great staff, delicious food! They offer military discounts. Taco Tuesday. The only complaint is that they don’t disclose they add their tip to the bill and still put a “TIP” line. I’ve double tipped many times without being aware of this until I took a picture of the bill.

-1 if I could, horrible establishment! I got food poisoning! Also saw someone brushing their teeth in the back where the dishes go. Waitress was horrible, menu said one price, receipt said another, when asked about, she lied. Avoid this and go to tacos jalisco!

If I could give no stars, I would. Waitress checked on us once as a pass by. No refills on our drinks, the tacos weren't as good as the ones in Springfield, and we had a split check (which took over 30 minutes to get) and she said my friends card was declined so she used mine and we found out the next day we had both been charged for her ticket. All around terrible.

I've been going to this place for a few years now here and there. When I first opened it was great!. At first...Awesome food and music. Honest working people. The last 3 times I've gone back its been awful. No lie. Every time I walk In there and I get my check there's always an extra item on my tab. I went a few days ago my girlfriend saw she that the waitress was being very pushy with us. I wasn't in the drinking mood and she kept trying to sell me more beer. When we got our tab there was a miniral water on our tab. I don't know what's going on with this place. We'll never going back again.

Edit: I was just here again today June 14, 2019 and the fish was actually better than I had remembered. So fresh and crispy! 10/10 The food was delicious and super fresh! I had the fish dish, a michelada and one jarrito, I couldn't be happier with my meal! Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone! Service was friendly and attentive. Will be back very soon!!

It was so awesome to find AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD in Northern Virginia. The food was so fresh, great spices. It was really crowded, but only took about 10 minutes for a table. We ordered drinks at the bar while we waited. I ordered spicy margarita. I loved to the DC area from Texas and I finally found a authentic, casual Mexican restaurant.

I went to this place because it was in the category where the locals go. This was a fun place to go to. There was a Mariachi band playing when I got there. They were good but a little loud. After the band was done they have karaoke which was fun to watch. The food and drink were good. The salsa had good flavor and the chips were light. The Guadalajara margarita was tasty and had the right amount of alcohol. I was surprised at the size when they brought it out, but I was used to the 24oz glass at the restaurants near me. The beef and chicken fajitas were full of flavor and had plenty to fill me up. I highly recommend adding the lime juice to your meal. Overall I would consider this a good place for most casual lunches or dinners. My bill was a a little higher than what I'm used to, but was typical for the area. If I get back to the area, I will definitely go back to this place.

I ordered 5 tacos- 3 beefs and 2 Al Pastors (Pork). Beef tacos are 3 out of 5, because it is little dry and good meat. Al pastors tacos are 4 out of 5, so it is really good taste and little juicy. Next time I will go there for only Al Pastors taco.

The food and service here were great at lunchtime on a weekday. The house salsa and chips however, left a little too be desired. The Burrito Loco is about the size of a grown man's forearm, so make sure you're hungry if you decide to eat here, and the tacos were amazing. Definitely will be coming back!

Although a majority of the waitresses were not very friendly, in fact a few just dont know how to not stare. Is it because I'm white, is it because I just got off work and had dry wall dust on my pants? Was I not eating the soup right? Look...the food was outstanding and they have a few choices that I haven't seen ANYWHERE else (yes, I ordered one of them and it was aaaamazing) amazing enough to earn five stars even though the waitresses made me feel self conscious about how I eat soup

The greeters were friendly, but it quickly deteriorated after being seated. The air conditioning was not working properly and they had one fan to circulate the air. Add that they were busy - the music was deafening loud made this okay experience go to worse. The waitress couldn't get the order right - she brought us the wrong sides- but we kept them because of the noise and communication being so difficult. The $10.00 margarita was diluted - add an extra shot at $11.00 = $21.00 for one drink - not worth it...The steak- shrimp fajitas- overcooked /dry- the grilled veggies-mushy. Too expensive for the poor quality. Perhaps a less busy night would be a better experience and we avoid the above dish and drinks.

The free chips tasted like fish, which means they don't change the oil frequently. The waitress totally messed up our checks and gave some of our party the wrong check and charged a different amount than on the wrong check anyway. Food was average. Greasy.

Waited 30 minutes to receive cold, overcooked, tasteless food. Customer service is subpar and the children just run too the back where they are preparing the food. Unsanitary establishment where the food is over priced and for no good (literally no good) reason. Never again. If you are looking for drunk food, this is it. Never again!

Make it a point to see the Mariachi Band that plays here a couple of days a week & Kareoke ya nighttime! This place is so good that it crowds up quickly. Whether it's a margarita and some entertainment one seeks or excellent, super fresh and authentic food: this spot is perfect. The cost is more than reasonable and the service is quick, with homemade salsa and tortilla chips to pass the few minutes before dinner.

My wife and I went there for some tacos, and we got surprised by the ambient really nice and I think the manager or owner was there he was very friendly with all the people there.But the waiters wasn't friendly at all. NOW! tacos and Margarita wasn't the best and the. the Margarita you barely feel the alcohol and the tacos has almost nothing inside compared with other around the town. Hope they made some changes after this review.

Average at best. Beatdown looking building. I was warmly greeted and seated at approximately 6 p.m., I was the only one there and the dining area, though there was a couple seated at the small bar. The salsa for chips was homemade but the chips we're not fresh and almost seemed store bought. I had carne asada tacos and again they were average at best very small pieces of meat well overcooked. Would not visit again.
