Location: easy to find off RT 50 in Fairfax. Decor is modern era Americana, but perhaps a little dated and worn. Food:. Generous portions and tasty. Everything we ate was pretty good. Service: excellent service. Servers were fast, attentive and friendly.

I love the big servings of steaks and fries and salads that they have. Their staff at super nice and friendly too. They're very fast and you don't have to wait long for your order. If you're not a wine drinker like me, it's best to cap your dinner with a cup of coffee which is also awesome.

Outstanding brunch, delicious and well priced! Great place to dine, food is decent, staff is great. Specials run every day, various food and drink specials during the month. Restaurant has an Outdoor patio bar. They have a banquet hall that fits 30-150 people, they offer no rental fee for the hall just what is ordered, also has it's own bar area, I deal for gatherings or to host events. Costco Fairfax also runs gift cards for this place saving you $20.

It was my first time to this place although I have been in the area for a while. It is a spacious restaurant serving American cuisine food. Among the starters a few recommendations would be Spicy Corn Bites, Fried Calamari and Crab Dip(this was the best one). Among the multiple entrees I tried I liked the Chicken Teriyaki and Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. Good place for a get together, or bigger groups for dinner.

This has been a Fairfax staple for years. The layout has a lot of local culture, and loads of TVs all around, yet it wouldn't be described as a "sports bar". The food is above average, of course it's not fine dining quality, but if you take that into consideration and mix that with the inviting atmosphere, and local flair (every local college is represented by decorations), that adds up to 5 stars.

I had Sunday brunch there and it was very good. It is a buffet and included an omelette station, simple salad, breads area, bacon, sausage, hashed potatoes, biscuits, gravy, eggs, corned beef hash, chipped beef, salmon, ziti, waffle station with toppings, and I believe another lunch item that I can't remember. The quality of the food is tasty and the price of the buffet is standard. The wait staff was attentive and it was an enjoyable experience.

We love their brunch! The omelettes are soooooo good. & the coffee is excellent! Their potatoes aren't the best & are usually cold by the time we get back to the table. But the bacon is always hot & crispy. The banana bread is delish! & the waffles are soooooo good. And the best part is the price won't break the bank. Their crab cakes are quite yummy, too! They aren't usually too crowded (unless it's mother's or father's day) & the wait staff are excellent.

We used the basement meeting room for our section meeting, the food was good, after dinner they brought out take home boxes and all the food was gone. There's a dance floor, which of course we didn't use. There's a screen, you need to bring your own projector. You could sit sixty folks comfortably here. They serve the food buffet style with at least two main courses. We use this place in our rotation of locations, probably twice a year.

I went to enjoy there, They refused me to enter without passport. When I asked a Girl dancing she refused, and then I left. A few minutes later when I was walking, the girl misunderstood that I was asking to her dancing again. Then I moved away from her, after a minute later staff fired me because of one malevolent girl. He did not take into consideration of my explanation. Their claim was that 3 girls complainted me , so I am failure. Yes, they are 3 girls because they were friends, because of the malevolent girl provokation they went together. This is a prejudgement. So, if you go to this club you can be fired because of asking dance. I have been in so many clubs, none of them requested passport, despite I showed my id they requested passport. So, there is a discrimination to the foreigners. You should not go to the this club. The point is not that being fired a club, there are so many clubs; the point is that you are being accused to bother someone, they do not take into consideration. That is a wondering issue for a person.

My family and I had dinner here. The food was great. The menu is broad and has a lot of good options. I had the short ribs in mushroom slow cooked wine sauce - just perfect. Others had the surf & turf and were very happy too. Decor is great, a lot of wood, soft lights, and a fantastic large bar (a wide one so you can actually eat from it comfortably). Lastly, we had the most wonderful waiter - Alexandria I believe. She was super quick for instance filling up water every few minutes (I’d come in pretty thirsty), not obnoxious or claiming attention in any way, and had an incredible command of the different dishes - specials or not - the wines, salad dressings - whatever we asked. I hope she’s reading this - it’s rare, but everyone now and then you meet one that makes a difference, and Alexandria did just that.

Anyone stopping by on Thursday nights I highly recommend thinking twice. Bouncers and staff are extremely rude. Unless you’re a female that is. They charge all guys $5 cover fees, and apparently if they don’t “like” you they won’t let you in period. The bouncer that collects ID’s on Thursday night told me I’m not allowed in because he doesn’t “feel” like letting me in tonight. Waited in line for an hour in the cold to be told to leave. This place used to be a nice spot to come hang out with the guys, but lately it’s been extremely rude, and discriminative. PJ skidoo’s has let itself go over the years. Def will not be returning.

They can accommodate large groups in separate banquet rooms or dine on their outdoor patio while you cheer on our local sports teams live on multiple tv's located in the bar as well. DJ and theme parties for all the holidays and special occasions.

Edit Nov 2018 - We came for Sunday Brunch and had the buffet option, it's so worth the price ($17 each), the place was not crowded at 11:00 a.m. and it has plenty of food options. Adding a pic here too. First review: Casual restaurant/ bar with reasonable prices and ok food. Not my favorite though, there's a lot of better American style restaurants in the area. Both times I went, I asked for a substitute (salad instead of fries) and not only I had to pay $2 for it, but they brought a mini plate of lettuce that was honestly ridiculous, specially because they up charge for that! Their food presentation is not the best either.

It's always nice to find a sports bar that has character and great service. Too often we're plagued with chains with mediocre service. Skidoos breaks that mold with eclectic character and great service from the hostess to the servers. Lots of energy, plenty of screens to show anything you want to watch. Perhaps the only digital I could offer would be criticism of their beer list -- nothing fancy. If you're ready for character, head here.

When she did decide to refill our drinks, she acted shocked my dad already finished his beer and then tried to cover it up by saying she just doesn't like beer. Unfortunately this was a disappointing experience. Myself and a few others I was dining with all ordered steaks, but none of them seemed cooked much at all. Two from our party had them sent back twice to be recooked, but they still came back bleeding and not cooked (one asked for medium well and the other medium). I got a buffalo chicken sandwich and fries.. I had to ask for lettuce and tomato..which is doesn't come with..the fries were very few..so I asked for a side. Which was $2.95. . they have ketchup on the side within the dish..so they don't filll the fries up.. I asked for ranch. For the sandwich..and was given blue cheese..without my knowledge..and i poured it on my sandwich luckily I'm not allergic. Sandwich was good .I waited a while to get a refill..I down graded my review after finding out they don't give military discounts but offer cops.. teachers and students. . Not that I ever expect restaurants to give military discounts nonetheless they offer to others.. kinda sad..they don't support the military...

I personally don't really like the food here but the ambience and just the overall way that the restaurant is handled is pretty good. my only reason for this place not getting five stars is again just the cost is a little bit expensive for the food that you get.

Food is good with ample portions. Interesting decor with many vintage posters. Mix of booths and tables. Can be loud due to active bar on left side of restaurant. Also has an outdoor section that is enclosed and heated in winter. There is sufficient parking but can be tricky when crowded. They have many promotions such as trivia night, holidays, certain sporting events.

The atmosphere was alright. It was cool that they have poker nights (with actual poker tables). Their beer was a bit overpriced - standard domestic beers on discount, no crafts. Their potato skins and ranch were fantastic.

Loved it, way under rated. I've been driving past this place for a long time, and had just let some of the reviews keep me from giving it a try. Well, they sponsored an event at my daughter's school, so I took the family to try it out. There's an indoor bar and an outdoor bar, plus the restaurant area. We were seated in the restaurant area, and ordered the calamari for an appetizer... It was tender and perfectly cooked. It came with a remoulade, and my daughter requested some marinara. They were both great, and the marinara sauce is clearly made fresh. My wife had the special (surf&turf w/prime rib) and I had London broil. Both meals were great, but the star of the show was the chocolate mousse we had for dessert. I didn't spend much time in the bar area, but according to their sign it looked like there's events going on pretty much every night.

Just left PJ Skidoos and loved it!! It was a last minute decision to go there and we definitely don’t regret it. The Prime Rib was tender and flavorful. My husband had the steak frites and it was delicious. We ended the meal with raspberry cheesecake and hot fudge brownie sundae. So good!! Our waiter, Nick, was attentive and helpful. The whole experience was delightful. We’ll be back!
