Tried it because of a recommendation. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. They brought a boat load of first meat for only 2 people. They need to inform the customers that it's a self cook bbq so the meats don't burn. I dont mind doing my own cooking, just so used to the wait staff handling the cooking of meats at other Korean bbq places.

Good value for money, all you can eat for like $21-22. This place gets packed, so either arrive early or put your name on the list ahead. They won't seat you until everyone on your party is present, though, so be mindful of that. Reasonably attentive, but there certain things you will have to ask for because they may not automatically bring them, like a lettuce salad, certain sauces (oil and sesame? The one that goes with lettuce). This is a good location for small to medium-sized groups (up to about 10 people). Homey feel, too.

food is great just like you will eat in Korea. price is reasonable. wait staff are not friendly. For someone who does not eat pork or beef, the menu is very limited. Compare to other Korean places in the area, the side dishes offering is limited and refill is very slow. I would give 5 stars if we are only focus on quality of food. But I always get frustrated with customer service. They are not people person and they will not accomondate any request. It remind me of soup place everyone go in TV series Seinfeld.

Pretty good Korean BBQ, there isn't as many sauces here as there are for other kbbqs like Iron Age. But the sauce here is amazing! I like it much better than the sauces at other locations. There is usually no wait for a table. Service is fast and responsive.

Little bit of a wait. And the smell of bbq on an empty stomach makes the wait feel even longer. However, they more than make up for the annoyance of a prolonged wait with the frienly service and the quality of food. I was beginning to get a tiny bit edgy towards the end of our wait, but that quickly disappeared once the food and the liquor arrived. Get some thinly sliced brisket and bottle(s) of original soju, and you are good to go for next two hours. Complementary side dishes are great and the gaeran jjim and danjang jjigae are awesome, too tasty to be complementary. Add on the galbi and samgupsal with kimchi and soju, you can't wipe that grin off your face. Top that off with complementart shikhae at the end they give you together with the bill. All that for twenty bucks!? Yup, I am done for the night and good to go and will be back. Great times and great food and service!

Prices are reasonable for the amount of food, but it's definitely not cheap. Worth it for a good meal, and I'd go back. Give this place a shot!

The wife and I have gone here several times and we love it. The staff is really friendly and the food is great. We like this spot over Honey Pig which is a popular Korean spot in the area. This one is a lot simpler and better in my opinion.

Great place overall. I loved the spicy chicken for two, the dish costs about $25. Excellent! And it's big enough to feed two hungry people or four normal people. The service is excellent, we had a variety of waiters some around the table, making sure we were happy. The kimchi is excellent and the additional sides are above average.

Dining room it's been remodeled a better air circulation is done no more smoke in your favorite sweater. The price is $22.99 for all you can eat K BBQ the selection of proteins still the same pork belly, chicken, tripe, beef brisket, marinated pork and marinated steak. The soup isn't ilimitaded anymore after the first serve you'll be charged. The service still the same. The waiting time it's normal on weekends. Large groups and parties is ok.

Had the AYCE kbbq. Best quality of kbbq meat I've had in Northern Virginia for the price. Cozy place (not a ton of seating but well worth the wait). The waiters are great. It was busy so I flipped my own meat a couple times but I don't mind - majority of the time they were mindful to cook the meat well without burning and refilled the side dishes so quickly I didn't notice.

Korean BBQ. Amazing service. All the meats are good but rhe marinated chicken is tge best. Go early to avoid a line. Even with a wait is will be well rewarded. Plan on an hour and half to two hours. Slow down enjoy you meal.

This was my first go at Korean BBQ and I was very impressed. All you can eat meats and fantastic sauces. I would 100% eat here again. Fair warning though, don't lean back in the seats. You might just fall back. The food is great but the furniture sucks.

I honestly wish I could give this place 0 stars. I'm actually a pretty regular customer, but had the most upsetting visit late last night. Before reading my long story, in short food is honestly not that great, there are better kbbq places. Service is bad. It's just convenient for late night and ayce. Ok so first, the way they set up to seat parties is by using their big middle tables and they sat 2 different small parties on 2 different tables. So we, as a party of 8, had to wait about 30 minutes. Even after they cleared the table, they didn't seat us and proceeded to set up the table with side dishes and water (something they usually do after were seated), making us stand and wait even longer. Then half of us at the table didn't have plates once we sat. Second, we also wanted soju and although we arrived around 12:30am, we didn't get to sit and order it until 1:10am (you can't drink in a restaurant past 1:30am in VA). AND then we were literally NEVER waited on. Never, asked what we wanted, just brought out meat after we had to flag them down. Then they never came by to check on us or ask if we needed anything.. . Literally had to get up from my seat and walk over to them to ask for things. Third, they told us last call for food since they close at 2am. So we ordered one more plate of brisket and pork belly. They came back to tell us they had NO MEAT LEFT. Only tripe (intestines... Not good btw) left. This is an all you can eat place... How do you run out of your main food?! Well, they didn't... They just lied to us so they didn't have to serve us. They honestly could've just said that the kitchen is now closed but they gave us last call and lied instead. SO DISTASTEFUL. This was the most upsetting part. Lastly, they had the audacity to add gratuity to the bill after NEVER WAITING on the table. I know we were a big party, but they literally never came by. ALWAYS had to flag them down somehow. We will never come back here again.

I normally stay away from all you can eat joints bc I can't put enough away in one sitting to make it cost effective, but for $20/person you can't really go wrong. The meat, dipping sauces, banchan were all delicious, but what was really awesome was the chopped lettuce with some kind of light dressing and the thinly sliced pickled radish...it was such a relief to be able to eat lettuce+meat+rice with chopsticks and not have to manhandle gigantic lettuce leaves at the table. Only downside is that the tabletop grill feels awfully close when you're sitting on the outside end of the booths...it's hot, it splatters oil on your hands and sleeves, and it's a given that you'll walk out of there reeking of k-bbq, so leave the fancy clothes at home if you can.

It was a really nice experience. Much different from the large chain Korean BBQ restaurants that I frequent. A modest restaurant? Maybe more of an authentic Korean BBQ experience? It was really small, so we sat out side for a few hours until it was our turn to be seated. IT IS PACKED in there! Be prepared to wait an hour or more to be seated. (may not be typical. But happened to me the day I went) With that being said, I defiantly would go again.

The food and vibe is awesome, but when it comes to the servers is hit or miss. I go here mostly because I love the food but I have been hesitant multiple times to go as I had bad experiences with at least 75% of my visits mostly with the servers. Either they are rude, they try tricking you on the food included or not in the price by up selling you or because they give bad service we give low tips and they try to argue why the tip are not higher. Overall if you want great food and good vibe this is the place to enjoy a great meal with your friends, but don't expect too much from the servers and managers. Mostly what we have been doing lately is that if we need anything, we ask the Spanish servers as they are more polite and humble, I prefer to spend my tips on them.

I've been to here 3 (or 4) times and had their all-you-can-eat BBQ. It was worth every penny! I don't remember how much they charge anymore. I remember they raised the price by a dollar or two the last time we went, but it should be around $15 so its still a good deal. If you have no preference, they will bring you a plate of meat with pork belly, beef, pork and chicken. Along with that also comes with the typical unlimited side dishes, steamed eggs (my favorite!) and salad (delicious!!). The restaurant gets very busy everytime I went, weekdays and weekends. One time we had to wait over 30 minutes to get a table. But what do you expect from a mom-and-pop that has great food at such a great price? After you order, they will bring you a stove and they generally do the cooking for you, but I recommend cooking the food yourself if you don't mind. The staffs get pretty busy and sometimes they might forget they have food cooking at your table and your meat will end up overcooked (which happened to me at my first visit). Otherwise, everything is great. The owner is very appreciative and often go around the restaurant helping his staffs and thanking the customers for their businesses.

Owner kicked us out after only letting us eat for half an hour to an hour. We did not receive the egg or stew, but made multiple requests for them. The owner claimed that they were “out of meat”, but you could tell he just wanted to kick everyone out (it wasn’t even 2 am when they are suppose to close). I had experienced it and will not go back. I admit you get a lot of food for all you can eat. At the end, the server did not like the tip I left her. She was aggressive of the fact that I should have given her more. I did have to leave her nothing, when most of the time I was the one who was cooking the food. My daughter was here and thought that it was another good place to get Korean BBQ but not for me. Maybe for others. I just can't believe the server came at me like that. Plus the meat had no seasoning, which I was disappointed.

Decent service. Cant be seated until whole party is present, but luckily for us it worked out ok. The place is small and continually busy. Open really late! Overall, I will come here again for morean bbq and hotpot.

Watch out for the waitress with purple and blue hair. She accidentally flung a piece of raw meat into our side dish, moved it back onto the grill, and walked away without taking the side. We had to actually ask her to swap it out. Not cool. Two stars because my other visits have been average to good.

I visit this place every time I am in town for MagFest. The place gets pretty crowded at times, and the staff may seem a bit rude ... but it's just crazy busy. Once you have a table, you're treated very well, the staff is very accommodating, and the food is top notch! I can't wait to go back.

For a traditional Korean meal, Oegadgib fits the atmosphere. The all you can eat KBBQ is solid. Not a wide variety, but it has the staples. Thin brisket, pork belly, chicken. Service though is disappointing. At some KBBQ places, the servers make it a point for them to cook and the guests to enjoy. Here, if they see someone touch the grill, the server will never stop by the table again. Someone in the group ends up cooking for everyone else. Depending how much meat there is to cook, the cooking can get tiring.

We ordered the all you can eat meat, and you was it a lot. There were three of us, and we couldn't finish what we started. The meat, especially the marinated chicken and beef were delicious. The staff was super friendly when they saw that we were a bit inexperienced with the grill they came over and they turned the meat over, which was very helpful. The only thing I would have to nitpick about is the sides that you get none of them are like traditional kimchi other than that it was delicious.

The meat quality and selection is not as great as other nearby kbbq places like Sō or Kogiya, but they do have the best sauce and salad and offer a slightly cheaper unlimited option for both kbbq and hotpot. They recently renovated to have the grills in the table so no more hot stone grills! I should also stress that their sauce and salad are like crack and ridiculously good, especially together.

I don't know when they renovated the place, but it can now comfortably compete with other popular KBBQ places that are more well known. The smaller menu ensures a more consistent quality with the cuts. Waiting can take a bit due to the physical size of the location, but it is definitely worth the wait.

Service here went from a 10 to 0. You have to ask and keep asking until the whatever side item you asked for to come. They don’t give you the salad, eggs and tofu anymore until you ask for them and even with that it takes forever. They pho-king dumped the whole plate on the grill mixing the pork and beef together. Apparently they were trying to kill their customers.

Love it! Though I missed previous stone plate, the new setup on stainless plate is much cleaner and no smoke. Much better in terms of dining experience. The parking still lacking and not much to do about it other than come in as earlier as we can. Overall, we love the place!

Good place with good service. It is a fairly small place though considering the occupancy within the building so beware it can get quite warm especially in hot weather. It is an excellent place. The meat could be higher quality but nonetheless it is an excellent place for the price and service.

Although this place was really out of my way, it was totally worth going for! You get serviced quickly, and the quality of the meat is really good! The place is a little small and roomy, but that does not really affect anything. You get a lot of extras and the salad and sauce for the meats are the best thing here! The meat is unlimited, so make sure you come here on a very empty stomach!

Didn't have the wait too long on a Friday night. There is about a 2 hour eating time limit. The dining area is kind of small. The kbbq is pretty cheap with a few basic meat selections. The salad that comes with the kbbq is really really good.

This restaurant is the most greedy restaurant I have ever been to. Ever. They will charge you a $10 fee if you don’t finish your food (applicable only if you order the buffet.) That along with the fact that they won’t give you seconds until you’re completely done with everything. The food is decent enough.

My review covers both food and service, averaged to 3 stars. Food (4.5) I always only get the all you can eat BBQ from here. The food is definitely good! Even the salad is probably the best salad at a Korean place I've had (all the other ones were still good, but different). All the side dishes are free (potatoes, salad, soups, etc.) and you just have to pay for the meat, which I think is such a sweet deal. Service (1) However, they're not the best with services. So if you come here, come for the food, but don't expect to receive amazing customer services. It varies from time to time with how busy they are (they're almost always busy), but most often than not, they're very abrupt with everything - no smiles, no greetings, slamming down of the food/meat, long wait times, and if you get put in one of the tables in the back, they're more likely to forget you and not have your refills until towards the end when you're about ready to leave. Tip: Beef briskets are my favorite from the BBQ beef menu. Also, if you're planning on going there, you can ask for a table reservation in advance (at least ~3 hours before you go). Lastly, be prepared to smell like smoked BBQ on your clothes and hair when you leave the restaurant for the rest of the day!

We have been coming here for years and love it. Customer service is efficient and when not super busy, the servers take time to chit chat. EXCELLENT FOOD and lots of drinks to choose from. Owner is wonderful, welcoming, friendly... always a smile. Warning: no doggie bags for the All You Can Eat... PERIOD! So only order what you can eat.
