We stopped here instead of cracker barrel while traveling. Glad we did, the food came out quickly and everyone enjoyed it. The pies and cookies looked great, wish I had more room for desert!

Great old-school restaurant with quick, delicious foods. We stopped for breakfast and the home fries were perfect. Cheese grits were delicious and hash brown casserole was better than the major chain breakfast place's version. A definite stop in the future!

We are traveling through the area and Mrs. Rowe's was recommended to us. There are many familiar chain restaurants in the area but we decided to try Mrs. Rowe's. The place opened in 1947 and looks like it was refurbished mid-century. Yes, the place is worn looking but who cares if the food is good... and it is! We both had trout with Old Bay seasoning, a nice sized serving, which came with your choice of 3 kinds of bread, real butter, and 2 side dishes for $14. Delicious! We took dessert to go...pecan pie and a truffle cookie...also delicious. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. The 'decor' was irrelevant because the food and service were so good. Give the place a try!!
