I went to Milano's with friends, based on one of their recommendations. So, keep in mind that it is enjoyed by some. Pros - friendly service, old school diner feel, quick service, ample seating, and jumbo portions. Cons - For the price I expected Maggianos quality or at least comparable to Olive Garden, but I found it only slightly above what I'd get at fast-food. The fish and chicken were extremely overcooked. The chicken was almost hard, like it may have been freezer burned. The salmon was $20 and a large portion but I'd prefer half the portion with flavor and not so dry. The selection large and sparse at the same time. Like several smaller restaurants they are doing double duty. In this case they had Italian and Greek dishes. So there was a wealth of choices overall but if you wanted something as simple as a vegetable side dish you were mostly out of lunch. You could get potatoes a few different ways or the veg of the day. The day I was there the veg was broccoli, which is fine but most restaurants serve it boiled and bland... but the horrible treatment of broccoli is for another discussion topic. In any case, not the worst but not worth the money. Sadly I can't recommend it. Want inexpensive seafood? Give Outback or Bonefish a try. Want decent Italian, go to Ozzie's, Maggianos, or just try a different local mom and pop place.

Very great service! My brother spilled his water and the waitress immediately came and cleaned it. She then got my brothers new silverware, coloring sheets and crayons. The food was great and the environment and staff were very welcoming. Please, bring your family here and enjoy a warm meal. :)

We love this restaurant & have been patrons for almost 20 years. Great go-to place when we don’t feel like cooking & need a good, home cooked feeling meal. Their Greek chicken & rice soup is the best when the family gets sick-it’s like penicillin. :) Their spaghetti sauce tastes homemade so all of the pasta dishes are fantastic. Top notch servers who have worked here for many years.

My family and I ran across this gem and was pleasantly surprised. My teenager is hard to satisfy but by the time we left this place, he cautiously told me that the food here is better than mine. Our waitress was kind and attentive to our questions and made us feel welcomed The Food portiond are fit for giants. #crowdpleaser. Traveling from Quantico to pick up dinner today. It's worth the trip!

Wow!! A great family restaurant with even greater service. Nice natural light if you're sitting closer to the front. Food is amazing. Definitely need more of this Greek food. I love it. Will certainly be going back for repeated visits. Tea is unsweetened.

We recently had a surprise birthday party for our mother at Milano's. With a local friends recommendation, we planned this from out of town. John the manager was very helpful in organizing this and made it very stress-free for me. With almost 30 of us (coming from all over the country), we were in their semi-private room. The buffet food and waitstaff were awesome and everything went off without a hitch. The price was also very reasonable and worked for our budget. I would definitely recommend Milano's for almost any occasion. Thank you Milano's for helping to make our mom's big birthday so special!!!

It was homestyle in there. It felt very welcoming. A lot of seating. A little too dim in there for my liking. I had an Italian sub so it was fine. My wife had the Chicken Piccata and it wasn't anything to write home about. The service was outstanding though!

Oh man, where to start. Family and I were looking to try some new place for pizza and wings and always saw this place was packed... so we gave it a try. I was going to place an order for takeaway so I called to ordered a large pizza, salad, and wing. I called and the woman on the phone goes "Milano's,".. I told her what I wanted to order and she says "It will be between 15 and 20 mins." "Great!" I said... "How much is the order?" She responded in a VERY RUDE tone "I dont know, I am busy right now." I then stated that I need to know how much cash to bring. She then stated "I am really busy right now to come up with the total". I was really peeved, we were trying a new place and we cancelled our order right away. I was not going to give $30+ and then more money later on to a rude front of a Family Restaurant. I ordered on a Sunday at 4:45pm.. so could not have been that busy to give a customer the total. I gave 2 stars because the website was good and the pictures were good.... 1 star for customer service. I will not try this food. Lots of other Family Restaurants in this area.

My family and I have been coming here for years. They’ve always had good food and a good atmosphere as well. My go-to meal has always been the baked spaghetti. The plate is huge and it’s never something that I have been able to finish in one sitting. They provide a lot of food for their dinner portions, which is not something you will find in a lot of restaurants. The spaghetti dinner includes any salad of your choice, as well as, garlic bread. My other favorites include the gyro with no onions, and pizza of course! The pizzas are really good, and their made with lots of fresh ingredients. The pizzas are medium crust and can easily feed two or more people. Their pizzas are better than most because they add extra sauce. Sometimes I have ordered the gyro platter with vegetables which are also fresh and delicious. The place definitely has a European atmosphere, and it’s situated in a typical strip mall. There are a probably thirty or more seats inside. We’ve never encountered any type of wait even during dinner. The servers and kitchen staff are always attentive, and the service has always been very good. This place has easily become one of my favorite places to eat in Northern Virginia.

Milano's Family Restaurant is an outstanding place for breakfast on Sat or Sunday starting at 8am and lunch/Dinner any day of the week. The service is great and the food is always fresh and filled with flavor. My family has been eating there for many years and several of the staff members have been there the entire time. Traditional Americanized Greek/Italian menu. The prices were fair. However, the ingredients seemed cheap and lacking. The marinara sauce seemed to be commercial bought. The waitress and staff were very nice. I cannot speak to there pizza but it look like a lot of people ordered it to go.

Ate lunch 8/15/17 at 2:00pm. I live a mile away; been coming to Milano's for 30 YEARS. Usually get the pork gyro sandwich/pita bread or pork gyro salad. I have really enjoyed my meals until now. Fourth of the way through pork gyro salad, I noticed the cut-up pork pieces were a dark pink (pork cooked rare). Outside looked normal-grilled brown. Asked for manager, and asked him if the pork was suppose to be well done; he didn't answer question. He saw rare pork and said his cook had been there a long time and he would take pork back and have it cooked well done. I picked out pork pieces on a plate he had gotten. I ate rest of food. Waitress brought back re-cooked pork; I cut some pork pieces and inside it was medium not as pink as before, but obviously pink. I didn't eat re-cooked pink pork and went to pay bill. I told waitress to cancel take out of pork gyro sandwich. Manager came over, waitress told him about re-cooked pork still being pink. Manager was apologetic. He forgave bill for pork gyro salad. I did not want take-out pork gyro sandwich. Told manager I would never be back.

Great place to go with your family. They have an area in the back where you can sit and be a little separated from the rest of the dining room. The staff it's always very friendly too. The food is a little hit or miss, so go for a Greek dish rather than a hamburger. I really enjoyed the chicken suvlaki.

Delicious Greek food and a long established neighborhood favorite. The gyro platters and sandwiches as well as meatball and cheesesteak subs are very popular. Some platters are HUGE though and you can definitely get two meals out of it. Can be very crowded at brunch/lunch but it's usually worth it. Waitresses are always very kind and very good at what they do!
