Been here twice now, incredible food both times and excellent service. Definitely a go-to hangout spot now on our rotation. Great beer list. Only thing I’d recommend is getting some shades for the windows. The setting sun is blinding and it would be nice to feel less exposed to the outside and more cozy when sitting at the bar at night! Other than that, love this place! Highly recommending to everyone in my circle!

Great veggie burger and large patio! After reading many reviews of the homemade barley lentil veggie burger, I decided to try it for myself. It's quite good! What I love about the burger (besides the fact that it's homemade), is you can add 3 toppings for FREE! I went with guacamole, cheddar cheese, and caramelized onions. The guacamole was great and the caramelized onion added some nice flavor, I could do without the cheese. The fries are nice and crispy. The roasted brussel sprouts are also very good, the aioli complements the sprouts well. The cocktails are okay, I ordered the Grapefruit Crush and it was too sweet. After taking a few sips, I couldn't drink anymore and handed it over to my fiancee. The Moscow Mule was nice and refreshing. The ciders are pretty good, but come in large bottles and can be quite pricey at $26/bottle and $48/bottle. It would be nice if Meridian Mint had more draft ciders. The staff is very friendly and great. Overall, I had a great lunch and would def recommend it to fellow vegetarians.

Went here for brunch and sat outside in the shade. Pretty cool atmosphere. I drank a cold brew that was extremely good and smooth! For the meal, I thoroughly enjoyed my Curry tofu scramble with breakfast potatoes. The waitress was very nice and helpful. It looks to be a good spot that's not overly crowded. Great beers and ciders and the best nachos in town. Meridian Pint is a great laid back neighborhood bar with a huge selection of beer and a pretty decent cider selection as well. And though the veggie chili nachos are a food splurge, they are so worth it. Their homemade lentil burger is also pretty decent and for a bar they definitely have some unique vegetarian food options.

I used to love the one in DC because they had a killer brunch and excellent beer list. This new location in Arlington was not that busy even tho I stopped by around noon on a Saturday. No wait as there were plenty of open tables, I guess the locals haven't figured out what they are missing yet. The staff didn't seem to know the menu that well but they were friendly. They still have a solid beer list tho I think Dominion W&B restaurant still has the best one in NoVA. Anyways, the pecan encrusted bacon with caramel was pretty good with a solid bba stout (Big Baptista from Epic).

So happy to welcome this place to the neighborhood! The service the food and the drinks were all outstanding. We had a short wait for a table on a busy Saturday night and the place was jammed with neighbors and locals. We had wine which you wouldn’t expect a good wine list from a place focused on beer but in fact they have a very good wine list. Started off with the fried oysters and the brussels sprouts as appetizers and they were both fantastic everyone literally at every table around us was also eating brussels sprouts and raving about them there trust me they’re good. We then had burgers for dinner which were well done if it’s smaller than I expected but quite frankly that’s fine because in this day and age of gigantic serving sizes sometimes you just don’t want to gigantic burger. Again service was outstanding the whole time and does everything we had was very well-made and presented. Will definitely return here again to enjoy the local atmosphere and the great food and maybe even next time bring the kids.

We were excited to try Meridian Pint in Dominion Hills, Arlington--we have been anxiously awaiting its opening since the sign went up. The beer menu was great. I wish the server had suggested a flight (we saw another table get one). Our intent was to just have a beer at the bar, but the bar was full since it is pretty small. So, we got a table, had our beer, and ordered some nachos. The nachos, I am sorry to say, were the worst I have ever had. We paid $11, and there were probably 11 chips, working out to $1 a chip. Cheese and tomatoes were sparse, and then there was about a tablespoon of guacamole. Chips were stale. Quite disappointing! We will give it another try as we certainly want to support a neighborhood restaurant and local business owner.

Food was amazing, best bar food I've had in DC! And as for the choice of beer, there's something for everyone here, you'll not be left wanting. All staff I spoke to were so friendly and attentive, really helping make it a special occasion. On a more minor note, the music in the bar was great, not one duff tune played. Will definitely be seeking this bar out whenever I'm near DC again. You won't be sorry you visited Meridian Pint :-)

I had an excellent lunch with some good friends here today. The outdoor seating is wonderful and the service was friendly. The draft beer menu is outstanding, a great place to grab a drink. There are many local craft beers to choice from. I ordered the burger which comes with a wonderful selection of toppings. I had avocado, caramelized onions and feta on my burger. For my side, I ordered the sweet potato wedges, which are delicious.

The main floor has friendly staff, an excellent beer selection, nice wood decor, and good food. It's a little pricey in my book. I had a burger and a beer, and it cost about $25 with tip. They have another bar downstairs with more of a dive bar feel. All in all, it's a great place. A warning, though. When I went on a Saturday evening around 9:15pm, despite plenty of open tables and only two groups before us, the wait was half an hour for a table for two. I sat at the bar. Call ahead if you want a table.

Took my 3 girls here for a quick good dinner between after school activities. The service was terrific. I appreciated a taste of Mac n’ cheese to see if the kids would like it and a replacement of strawberries after overhearing my picky eater complain about s the strawberries brown spots. I knew they had an extensive beer list but the food was characterized as pub grub. Not that I dont love a great burger and fried treats, but this place has much more. I had a delicious roasted corn salad with chicken. My husband had the salmon and loved it. The beer selections we're great and they have 4 oz. glasses if you want to try something. Service was great. We will definitely be back soon. I think people who had problems during the first weeks should give it another try

Very good food with pretty good servers and a nice casual ambiance. This is first month for this restaurant and they already are doing many things well. My wife and I both had burgers. Both were cooked perfectly and the toppings were fresh and generous. My side salad and my wife's french fries were both excellent. I'll be back to try more of the dishes. Only two quibbles. The burger buns are too soft and too small. They would benefit from a sturdier and slightly larger bun which stands up better to the delicious ingredients. Also, they need window shades on the southwest facing side of the restaurant, desperately. These are minor criticisms compared to all the positives. I expect them to get even better once they get their shakedown period behind them, and I look forward to checking out more of what they have to offer.

Place has gone downhill since years past. Beer selection and food still worth ordering but past few times I've been in, guest hospitality has been "stand off-ish" at best, unwilling to help or communicate at worst. (Apparently you now have to serve your own water, get you own extra plates etc when ordering from the tables downstairs) Latest example: when asking the bar tender for water, she started to take a drink of her own water after my request and simply pointed at the self serve water station (not one word spoken) and then carried on talking to a regular at the bar. Seems everyone now operates in some capacity close to this. My last 3 visits have not been pleasant, the last one just plain BAD so after 8 years I now realize there are better options in the immediate neighborhood to patronize.

I went to Meridian Pint for a sunday early dinner meet up with my friend. We had the honey bourbon barbecue wings as a appetizer. To drink we each had something that suited us. I had a burbon, cider, cayenne pepper drink and the name escapes me currently but I didn't think it was going to be as spicy as it was. As my second drink I tried just the cider and that was great. After trying my friends pomegranate drink I absolutely would try it next time I come. So back to the wings they were amazing. the sauce was just the right amount of sweet and tangy and next time I will get those and their amazing fries as my entree. I tried the burger per suggestion. I made my own breakfast burger and it was good, not the best I've had but good. My friend had the burger that started with a b ( brusion burger maybe?) She raves about that burger so I can only assume it was amazing. I will try again but I'm pretty sure I have planned out my plates in advance.

We reserved a table for four two days ago asking for a table with a view of the TV for the World Cup final. Our friends arrived before us, and checked in with the hostess at approximately 10:45am for an 11am reservation. The hostess sat them at a table with no view of the TV, and would not seat them at a different table with a view, nor did she offer a short wait to have a different table with a view. We were able to find a seat at the bar, but, with their website advertising come watch the World Cup with us, the bar was understandably packed. There was only one bartender serving the entire bar. We went nearly 45 minutes between ordering our food and drinks (which we did at the same time), and being serviced a second time. The bartender was working as hard as he possibly could, and deserves major props. But the restaurant overall lost several drinks and future business as a result of this poor management.

Went out with my parents and little brother. We got our drinks took at least 20 minutes and were barely cold. We were near a waiter station and got hit with water. Took a long time to take our orders. I ordered the blue crab ravioli and while it tasted delicious, it just came with 4 raviolis. Thought maybe for $20 that I would get at least 6 and possibly 8 of them at most. That's a really big plate for just 4 raviolis. The bill had to be redone; 3 times. At least the manager took the 1st round of drinks off the bill. Won't be coming back here for awhile.

I've been coming here since it opened years ago and it has always been great. Their beer list is always solid with good variety. I find a lot of bars stock too much of what is hot and lack menu diversity of styles. They always have a good eye on this. I usually go to basement bar because it is more chill and hang out like vs. upstairs restaurant portion. Overall one of my favorite DC spots to drink.

Nice beer variety, each served in its own glassware. Very few, surprisingly, are actually pints. In fact there was only one point glass on the bar when I was there. They also have a nice selection of bourbons. A bit pretentious considering their dated and worn interior and furniture, the downstairs bar would be an ideal location for a less image-conscious menu and product line.

This is a great neighborhood bar. They have tons of beers on tap, which constantly change and keep things interesting. Their food is also tasty, although their menu is fairly limited.. You basically need to be in the mood for a burger.. However, they do have several vegetarian/vegan options. Overall, it's a good place for a casual meal or night out.

The tap list is extensive, and judging by the guy who was losing it over Genesee Cream Ale, and myself appreciating the 5 different beers I've never heard of before - they got something for everyone. Prices are pretty high in my opinion. The food is good but I have had many items that taste like something I'd make on a first attempt (I do ok in the kitchen but I don't have a future as a chef, or even a cook). I'm a liquor or cider drinker so my drinking experience here is very different from most patrons. I never know how strong the pour will be or what size I'll be getting, which isn't a good business practice. Why do I keep coming back? I have a lot of beer drinking friends and whiskey tastes the same here as it does at any place.

Just came back from Happy Hour and food at Meridian Pint. I enjoyed the Happy Hour wings and IPA, I also enjoyed my wing sandwich. My wife didn’t enjoy her kale Caesar salad with chicken as the chicken was rubbery. Staff were great though. What put me off the place was the guy sat next to us was really rude to the staff. From what he was saying he seemed to be the owner. His name is John and if that’s how you treat your staff I don’t want to give you my money, sorry.

Our party of 5 went to Meridian Pint for the first time yesterday (Sat.). We had heard/read good things about it and it's conveniently located in our neighborhood. We had also called earlier to see if they took reservations and were told that only for parties of 8 or more. When we walked in at about 6pm, there were several empty tables, for either 2 or 4 people, and one corner seating area where 5-6 people could seat. The hostess, Lexy, told us that it would take 15 mins. to put two tables together so the 5 of us could sit (what??!!), so we asked about the corner table since it would accommodate the 5 of us. She told us it was reserved and we replied that we had tried to reserve and had been told that it was for parties or 8 and more (the table was NOT set up for a party of 8 hence asking to be seated there). She then tells us that it had been reserved by a party of 8 but that they had called to say they'd only be 4 after all, and therefore the table was still reserved for them. We couldn't make heads or tails of that one! Also, while we initially waited, a couple with a young child arrived and she proceeded to sit them before us. Now we were left with not too many options other than put two tables of two together (and the tables didn't even match in length), but because three of us sat in the cushioned area we were able to manage. Get this though, the people who had the reservation for the corner table NEVER showed up while we were there (about 1+ hour). We were pretty annoyed and quite disappointed to be treated like that and should have talked to the manager but were didn't have much time and just wanted to have a drink, eat and enjoy each others' company. Had it not been because the the food was quite good (fish tacos and burgers) and the drinks too, we would have given Meridian Pint only one star on this first visit. We also gave a higher rating because our server, Lena M., was great, very attentive and made good suggestions for drinks. Will we go back? We're willing to give it another chance, but I certainly hope we won't have the same experience in getting seated regardless of how many people we are.

Good for vegan and vegetarian options. Go downstairs to eat in comfort and a bit less noise. Food was delicious. I had vegan samosas for appetizer and pesto linguine with vegetables for entree. Both superb.

Consistently good food with an excellent beer menu. Went on a Tuesday when kids eat free and was very pleased with the kids menu. Everytime I go I do find the burger and main dish pricing to be a tad pricey - but considering I visit somewhat regularly, clearly the price hasn't kept me away.

Always great food and wide selection of beers. If you go for Wednesday trivia it can get a bit packed (understandable with only 2 bartenders). Would advise to get there early and take advantage of their 4-7 happy hour. Nachos are huge!

I ate with my family at the new location in Arlington this evening. I understand they just opened but still they didn't have any beer menu's available and we finally had to ask to have a server. We asked to have the kids meal brought out first but my meal came first before the rest and finally we asked again for the kids meal. My 3 year old started eating the chicken nuggets while I was cutting them up for the 1.5 year old and I realized they were icy cold and raw inside. We had my 3 year old spit them out but I do hope he doesn't get sick. We told the waiter and he had them cooked but it still scarred us that they served raw chicken to children.

A great pub that serves up a variety of tasty dishes with great service and a massive beer list. Meridian Pint has numerous, well-labeled vegan options. My last time here I got a grilled chicken sandwich with cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce, grilled onions and lettuce (I got a few subs from the default sandwich fixings) along with french fries. The food was really good and our server was great -- attentive and friendly. Prices are about on par with what you'd expect from a casual sit down restaurant. This restaurant offers outdoor seating, a weekend brunch and is great even if you're not looking for booze.

Excellent beer bar with a rustic/homey decor. Always a good selection with the option of tasters, but they also do good wine, full bar, great food so even if you're not craft beer obsessed you will still find something to enjoy.

The food here never disappoints. If I want a burger and fries in DC, this is where I go. Their specials are also always fun and delicious. It is a great neighborhood spot that almost feels like a well kept secret as the setup is cozy, but there is ample seating. The waitstaff always does a great job too!

This review is for the new location in Arlington. The draft list last week had a nice variety of styles, mostly featuring beers brewed in Virginia. There were a couple of interesting out-of-state breweries that I hadn't seen much of before in VA, such as Jackie O's and Deciduous. But, I wouldn't drive out of my way for the tap list. The side of the restaurant is glass, so there is a lot of natural light that brightens the room during the day. We were fortunate to grab two seats at one of the communal tables on an early Thursday evening. The bar area is pretty cramped, and there are only 6 standard bar stools and two six-seater communal tables (maybe one is an eight-seater?). It's completely different from the long format bar of the former location in DC. The ambiance between the bar area and the dining room is a bit of a clash because there isn't much of a partition between the two areas. The din from all of the families with children reminded me of a Pizza Hut. I'm not judging -- I've brought my kid to breweries before. I can see the appeal of a restaurant that is kid friendly and serves a solid beer selection. However, if I was in the mood to enjoy hard to find craft beers and socialize with friends without kids, I'd check out a different spot. Follow-up: There are a lot of families in the surrounding neighborhood, and the demographics of this restaurant reflect that. I'm confident this place will be successful at catering to their needs.
