Amazing cuisine and magical experience. Absolutely the BEST service and atmosphere. Perfect dinner for the celebration of our 35th anniversary. Loved it !
Wonderful dining experience with well knowledged and attentive wait staffs. Food was excellent, savory taste. French onion soup was exceptional and unique in that onion in the soup was pureed giving the soup rich onion flavor. Crab cake, lobster, and lamb were superb, quality expected from a French restaurant. Presentation was perfect, very appetizing. My family and I had a wonderful dining experience. Definitely recommend.
Possibly the best A LA Carte meal I've had & felt stuffed afterwards Top quality Fast, polite & enjoyable, service & experience
Holy Everything French! The place for spectacular French food and all your very special occasions. Yet, they also serve a more casual menu at the bar. Order the poached salmon. Exquisite
Excellent service and top quality, delicious food. Nice atmosphere that was surprisingly not stuffy. We had a Birthday party of 6 and there were others celebrating birthdays too. There was laughter and smiles all around. Fun and relaxed. A good time for all. We plan to return and experience the Chefs Table menu one day
We love both locations of this restaurant. This time was as usual great experience. But what was remarkable this time is a wonderful service we received from the waiter who's name is Maxim. It was very nice, attentive, efficient and professional. He and all the other staff we encountered with made our dinner (which was my Birthday celebration) very memorable. Huge thank you to all the staff and in particular to Maxim and the hostesses. We'll definitely be back.
The service is amazing, the presentation of the food awesome, and the food is delicious. The staff is so well organized. I tell you they didn't miss a beat. Loved it definitely will be coming here more often.
Food was absolutely delicious! Service leaves A LOT to be desired for! Unless you look like you have a lot of money. For example, we waited 20 minutes just to be greeted by a random waitress once we got sat. Food is delicious, not worth the hassle of the lack of service. I won’t be back.
Kitchen and waitstaff did an amazing job for our group. We were one of two large groups that night, with the restaurant still open to the public, and all 20 of us were served at the exact same time for each of 3 courses.
We we're so jazzed about our Saturday night reservations; I'll blame Google maps for getting us off to a bad start. Hint: actually turn onto High St. Gorgeous joint. Quiet. Very conducive to...the zen of waiting. And waiting. Waiting for wait staff... waiting for drinks, waiting to order, waiting for your second round... dessert, aperitif...bill... Food was merely good. We won't be back.
The food and service were excellent. We have been many times and a wonderful evening each time. This visit we had the price fixe menu. The soups are great and the halibut was delicious, my wife had the lobster and Crab and enjoyed it again. We finished with the Grand Marnier Souffle and the Apple tart. We look forward to returning. Thanks
They did a wonderful job for our rehearsal dinner.
The french onion soup is like no other. I've visited for dinner as well as Sunday brunch and it's been absolutely excellent both times. Delicious food with excellent drinks. I could eat here everyday if I had the income.
I cannot say enough good things about my dinner. From the time I walked in and had a glass of delicious champagne served by the most professional friendly bartenders I have encountered in quite sometime to the fabulous desserts. The food was AMAZING! The staff so well trained and delightful. I will be talking about Le Yaca and my wonderful experience for a long time!
We went for our anniversary , dinner was fantastic and the staff was great. Loved every bit.
Great service, atmosphere, and food. Strongly recommended making a reservation. Don't order salad or soup because all 4 of our entrees included soup or salad. I didn't read carefully and ordered a salad. So I got soup with my entree. It's the exact salad that came with the entree.
One of the best meals I've ever had. The service was outstanding, with a special shout-out to Max. The night I went my arm was in a sling. The waiter offered to have my food cut for me prior to serving it. A wonderful experience
This place is a gem! Amazing food, the perfect brunch, and the desserts are to die for! I will definitely come time and time again!
I love my visit here. They are very hospitable and courteous to their guest. Lovely, beautiful, and tranquil experience. The food is cooked to perfection, so complements to the chef. I can't wait to go back.
Good food and wonderful service.
Excellent food and service, nice selection. You can get a 3 course for less than 50.00 with filet mignon, homatd, crab cake, rack of lamb, fish, etc.
An elegant, classy place. To enjoy your self. I love this place.
Food was excellent! Service great and prices extremely reasonable.
Love this French restaurant! Food is absolutely delicious and service is excellent!
Incredible!! Amazing food, charming ambiance, and personable staff.
This is a lovely restaurant. We made a reservation for dinner for the first Friday after my boyfriend had returned from deployment; we are not from the area and depended on reviews to find a place to dine. Our waitress was warm and took exceptional care of us. At the end of our meal she surprised us with a little bit of champagne to celebrate his homecoming and told us how she had read the note I had put in my reservation that explained why this dinner was important to us. I wish I could remember her name so that I could give her a shout out on here. We both ordered steaks which were cooked to perfection and buttery soft. The drinks, desserts, everything was to our liking. It was a little louder than we had expected, but we could tell the staff had tried to accommodate us into a more private table. In conclusion, La Yeca helped us have a wonderful first post-deployment date and we hope to go back a second time.
Exceptional cuisine, impeccable professional service, menu selections outstanding. 2 fixed price menus with 5 courses each are very good values, outstanding wine list with French and American selections. Full bar with a fabulous French vodka, American gin, and Lelette martini.
The food was very small and not that good. The lettuce in the salad was slightly brown and tasted funny. The waitress was extremely rude. I asked to order the lamb and she questioned my choice and if I had ever had lamb from a fancy place like that before and suggested I order a steak instead. She also spoke to me like a child. I will not go back here. I feel it was overpriced and the service was terrible. I’m only rating it 2 stars because it was clean and the decor was nice.
My wife and I had lunch at La Yaca a few days ago and it was simply marvelous. Our server promptly appeared within 10 seconds of our seating and was very pleasant and professional. In fact, the only rude people in the room were some of the other patrons. Too bad. Anyway, the lunch was appropriately portioned and exquisitely prepared-a gourmet treat. Some may whine about the price--get over it! You get what you pay for. Elegant, fine dining such as this in a relaxed European atmosphere is worth every penny. We will certainly pay La Yaca another visit soon.
Food was great first time going prices are reasonable
Found this restaurant by chance last time we were in Williamsburg and it is now a must do when we are here. Food, service and ambiance are wonderful.
the absolute BEST service, real European cuisine, and the lunch prices can't be beat! Dress nice!!
Great food and customer service
We had the Sunday brunch & everything was delicious. We ordered chocolate souffles several days ahead of our visit (necessary for chocolate souffles) & they were delectable!
My husband brought me here on my birthday on August 14!! First of all, our server, Travis , was amazingly AWESOME in everything he did..and such A NICE FRIENDLY GENTLEMAN..no one could have done a better job!! Very professional and really KNOWS how to serve well in this upscale restaurant. Even the unsweet ice tea needed no sweetner..just extremely good brewed ice tea....and I ALWAYS use sweetner. I had the 3 course ..lunch menu . The French onion soup was superb. The petite filet mignon couldnt have been any better..and OMG, the chocolate fondant...totally heavenly food!!! Everyone must go and ask fot Travis!
Excellent food and great service. One of my favorite places in town. Highly recommended!
Perfect afternoon birthday celebration. Beautiful French service and wonderful menu. Will return many times
Unique restaurant, young and very diversified staff. Very respectful and attentive. Happy Hour menu is great for both food and drinks.
Absolutely love this place. Amazing food, service and ambience. My birthday spot every year.
OMG! My daughter and I love ❤️ to experience a well dining experience. Where ever we go we pick a unique place with an awesome Menü and quality food. When we decided to visit Le Yaca we thought nothing can top the last French restaurant we visit near DC. Boy were we wrong. The service was excellent the French wine with our Crabe Pan seared local Jumbo Lump crab cake (almost no binder), Sauce “Beurre Blanc” from the a la carte menu and the SOUFFLÉ AU GRAND MARNIE, was out of this world. This is truly a place to visit if you love a well balanced and delicious meal. We will defiantly be back when we are in town. 5 stars is not enough.
Beautiful atmosphere. Wonderful, attentive staff. The food is always perfection!
Wonderful dining experience. Beautiful restaurant and impeccable service. My steak au poivre was perfectly done and well presented.
Just a wonderful evening ! Great food ! Try the Escargot, delicious ! Will return for another meal !
Onion soup is not traditional, but excuisit. Bread is a standard middle of the road bagette. Service and attention to clients is exellent. Wine prices are over priced. Over 300%, by the glass. Buy bottle. Service personel need training. Plated food is placed two handed at the same time at a table for two, male female couple, plop it down right and left handed at the same time, like a burger joint! Not one plate at a time. Ugly! We did not venture in the menu. It is pedestrian. What we ordered was very good, above average. I would highly recomend it, a bit pricey and cold atmosphere. Seems to me that this might be a special occasion restaurant in this area? We ventured in with no recomendation, we were very pleased! Worth every penny. Sorry to nit-pick, but I must, It has been my business for 40 years. My only 2 pecadillos that prevent me from awarding full stars are; placing food on table and wine pricing.
This is the best place to eat in Williamsburg. The best food and the greatest staff.
Fantastic atmosphere. Very romantic setting. The waiter was very friendly and polite, we got a bottle of wine which was not overpriced in comparison to other restaurants. We had escargot that had garlic pesto butter that was so good we saved the sauce to put on the bread the meal came with for free. We also had the rockfish special that was incredible as well. My compliments to the chef.
Always fabulous food and atmosphere. Brie is the best.
We would definitely recommend this place. The food was delicious (c'e'tait de'licieux?) we had the grilled Salmon and Squash soup and The service was great,
