Their sweets are delicious and their teas a bit too 'fancy' for me as I do not like my tea to taste like roses. However, that is a matter of personal preference. The reason for only giving 3 stars is the fact you are sitting in their seating area surrounded by homeless people. I symphasize with them in general but it is not exactly comforting enjoying your very pricy treats next to people that have nothing. Just the wrong setting for that sort of treat.

I was determined to get great macarons while in DC and was lucky enough to find this place in Union Station! While waiting on my bus I decided to give them a try and WOW. The croissants are literally perfect and the macaron come in a variety of flavors which are delicious

Laduree at Union Station is a lovely stop for confections. The shop is very small, but beautifully designed. Everything is very tasty and the staff are friendly. Prices are high, but this isn't convenience store candy, so that's to be expected. Location is great, and it's a nice place to wander around while waiting for a train.

This bakery is located on the ground floor in historic Union Station. They make & sell excellent macaroons in a variety of flavors. There is limited seating in front of the bakery, but quite comfortable. I combined a macaroon binge with an excellent coffee from their neighboring shop, Blue Bottle Coffee. Great way to have a coffee break while seeing the sights in DC.

My mom and I got second degree burns on our tongues because the person that made our coffees failed to inform us that the coffee was extremely hot. When we tried to return the coffees, the worker refused to accept the returns. We love Laduree, but we will not return.

The macarons at this location fall well short of the product one gets from Laduree in Paris or even in New York. The Union Station location, in particular, does not offer all the selections that the other DC location in Georgetown offers.

THE BEST macaroons you will ever have. Don’t be fooled by this place being inside a train station. I literally park and walk to the train station just to have their rose petal macaroons!

It's Laduree, the macaroons are tasty and come in lots of flavors... just keep track of the colors because they tend to repeat and you think you're getting rassberry and instead ROSES! Not a bad thing, just saying. The prices are... premium, 6 of these will run you $21 USD. Plenty of other places that do macaroons also but some come out chewy or overly sugary, here you know what you're getting.

Just visited this place from SC and I have never tasted macaroons this delicious. They are pricey but worth the cost. I had to make a second trip just to get more. The ladies that work there are so nice and friendly. They are also very patience and helpful in helping you choose the flavors. Thank you!

Coffee wasn't great. No sugar-free sweetener options. I mean, I'm all for natural foods, etc but not everyone can use them. I learned an expensive lesson.

Giving them 3 starts because 1- coffee was boiling hot and it took me half an hour to finish 2- when you order for " here" they still serve you with plastic cups. Why? Otherwise the the macerones are excellent. Please work on the coffee!
