Great eats served up fast! Sweet n spicy shrimp was completely shelled, crispy batter, covered in a tangy sweet sauce with a fiery bite. Happy Hour from 3 to 7pm. Makkegoli wow!

The food was quite bland. I had the hot Stone bibimbap and it tasted like mushy white rice with nothing sauce on it. The kids had Jja jang myun and stopped eating after a few bites. I tried it and couldn’t blame them. My wife had the Bulgogi japchae which actually tasted pretty good. I don’t normally like japchae but it was done well. The kids ended up eating all of her food. The service was okay. A bit slow, but understandable since half the customers were very chatty.

Love K-Town. The food and atmosphere is great, you walk in and immediately feel like family. They even do fun events like trivia night and K-Pop nights as well. Also a great place to grab a drink as well. The bar is a beauty in itself and the drinks are delicious

The delivery was only a few minutes longer than expected. Everything arrived as ordered and was really good. The gochuchang/ spicy sauce was on point. Some places water it down, but this was good quality. I don’t care for runny eggs so I only ate some of the egg, the pork was good too. My only complaint was that I paid an extra $2 for pork, and I just didn’t feel it was $2 worth. In the end I’d still order it again if I come back to Richmond.

The service here was absolutely terrible. They messed up my order and gave me a topping on my ramen noodles and still charged me extra. And my drink that I ordered didn't come in until I finished my food. Also they never came by the check up on the food nor did they refill our waters. When we got our checks it was all messed up so they had to redo it and it took about 10 minutes until they brought us our new checks but it was STILL wrong so we waited for them to come pick it up but they didn't for over 5 minutes so we walk up to pay. The manager had a rude tone in her voice and did not give us one sorry. Not to mention their ramen tasted like regular instant shin ramen. Never going here again. Not worth the money or time.

This restaurant and the owner are AMAZING. We are visiting Richmond and placed a grubhub order to our hotel. The grubhub driver repeatedly delayed the pickup time until finally the restaurant had to call grubhub themselves to arrange a new driver. (Apparently grubhub has no mechanism for identifying or caring if a driver delays an order for an hour and a half). The owner waited there past closing just to wait for our order to get picked up by the new driver and even took it upon himself to remake our food so it would be fresh since the everything had gotten so delayed with the driver mishap. I am so impressed by this absolutely fantastic service from a restaurant that clearly cares about quality. Oh and the food was DELICIOUS with good portions for a great price.

The food was very good. I was a bit disappointed that the meal did not include the classic ban chan rather they were listed as individual sides of which two were included with an entree. So rather than the 4-6 items that I have always had included with a meal (and refillable on request) only two items were included and others charged for. Lunch also seems to be a very busy time with takeout and GrubHub type services.

3rd time at K-Town. Stopped in for appetizers and drinks before heading down to pride fest 2018. They have amazing fried chicken that is a special Friday and Saturdays. Make sure to head here early Friday so you don’t miss out! We also ordered chicken dumplings and mango bubble tea. K-Town has great service and the food is always spot on!

I strongly feel getting better containers for delivery. My ramen was nothing like the picture I saw. My broth was orangie and the noodles, egg and kimchi were of poor quality. I make better ramen at home. Never eating here again and the overall taste of the is bad.

This is my go-to lunch spot since I've Moved into Richmond been here 5 months and everything on the menu is authentic , fresh, and unique.... They treat you like family as soon as you walk through the door ...Never not satisfied..... Vivian she's dope (as we say in NY) and she makes good bubble tea .. I have to come for Happy Hour one day and see what its like during the night hour ...but more than 5 stars ...everybody at my Job eats here... Best restaurant downtown Richmond

3.8? The folks inside were nice, the place was clean, and food came quickly. I had the ramen. The broth (spicy) was good, the noodles were store brought (I think) and the add ons (pork, ramen, rice cake) were on the skimpy side. I'll certainly be back, but this is not the spot for 100% homemade. Good job and nice for the price.

When I was a VCU student I used to eat at Mama's Kitchen when I was feeling homesick. Theres nothing like home cooked Korean food! K Town is even better than Mamas Kitchen (still the same couple cooking in the back) and is some of the most delicious and authentic Korean food in Richmond. The price is great and the service is friendly and quick. If you are not familiar with Korean food the servers can walk you through the dishes. If you are familiar you will be thrilled with the expanded menu and home cooked favorites.

Just like Seoul! We came in dangerously close to closing and they graciously served us. I got a soju mule that was made super well and had fresh mint. The chicken mandu wasn’t heavy and the sauce was yummy. I got spicy ramen with egg, cheese and dumplings and my wife got medium. So good! The staff was very nice and chatted with us about our time overseas.

Tasty, affordable and unpretentious. Great for a snack or a meal, and the service is always friendly! I've only been there for lunch but I'm looking forward to trying them for dinner. They always advertise good drink specials. I love the fact that their lunch specials are well under $10, and then you can add on extras for a few bucks, such as dumplings. Healthy, light - great vegan and vegetarian options in addition to traditional Korean meat dishes.

The tonkatsu was thin, dry, and didn't even come with tonkatsu sauce, but instead something like teriyaki sauce? Jajangmyeon is a very simple dish, yet the way they made it was so disappointing. The type of noodles and lackluster sauce just made it tasted like some kind of discount spaghetti. The udon was the only thing okay, but even so, everything was really overpriced considering the portions given and the quality of the food. The white pickled radishes were oddly warm and dry. Not sure why this place has such high ratings. Maybe if people have never been to a good Korean or Japanese restaurant, they wouldn't know better?

Richmond has had a pretty big bloom in Asian restaurants in recent years. However K Town stands in the upper echelon of these restaurants. Good prices. Best pork katsu in the city. Also has a really great late night menu on the weekends.

I'm so glad that my bestie brought me here! First, the service was wonderful. Everyone here was genuinely friendly. They were welcoming, but they didn't hover...great service. Secondly, the food was great. I had the fried chicken dumplings (I can't remember the Korean name), and a side of kim chi. My friend had the sweet and spicy shrimp, and then her boyfriend had the beef rolls (I will be more observant of the correct names when I go next time...and there WILL be a next time). We all shared. I loved it all. It had been so long since I had kim chi, and had been really looking forward to it. They didn't disappoint. I practically lived at fourth street diner in the nineties, and I'm really happy that there is finally something in that location that I love. I can't wait to go back. The only thing I wasn't over-the-moon about was the mango bubble tea, but it's been a long time since I've had it, and was possibly not remembering it very well. Overall I recommend everyone check this place out!

Gotta improve on serving time especially during lunch, i can see that all the dishes are made to the order, but during lunch on a weekday i cant sit for 45 mins waiting for food. But when it comes to food this is the best korean food u can get in downtown. Great bulgogi and steamed dumplings, really liked the kimchi.

This is honestly the worst pho that I have ever ordered. The broth has no flavor so they dumped in a ton of onions, which I hate. The noodles were over cooked and to slimy to pick up with either chopsticks or a fork. And they added the sprouts in the restaurant so they were hot and soggy by the time the food got here. Not to mention, it took them over an hour to prepare this horrible bowl of soup and get it delivered. I will definitely be looking to get my money back. Don’t waste your time or dollars on this place, it’s disgusting!

We were welcomed by friendly staff and a clean looking establishment. The food appears to be made to order, we saw the chef busy in the kitchen. The flavor of the japchae noodles was decent but it seemed strange to serve a large side of rice on the plate with this noodle dish. The bibimbop hot pot was also mostly rice and pretty bland. The sides were too small and both dishes skimped on the protein. A bit pricey for mainly noodles and rice.
