Brioche French toast was great, needed a side of bacon or potatoes to break up the sweetness. Bauble and squeaks was so delicious! Perfectly balanced and juicy chicken and biscuits and gravy. Chicken and waffles had just a hint of spice and bacon in the syrup! It was absolutely perfect! Wait staff was also very friendly and efficient.

We had such a pleasant dinner here tonight! All of the dining room tables are booths, which I much prefer for the privacy. There is also a lively outdoor area and plenty of bar space inside. The menu was excellent. I had the rib eye steak which was cooked to perfection. The green salad was one of the best I’ve had in a long time, and I am very picky about salads. The ambience was nice, and not at all loud. The service, however, was terrific. It was attentive, helpful, and our server let us linger as long as we wished without pushing us. I would highly recommend and will take my husband there soon.

Jackson’s is a great restaurant. The customer service from the time you walk in until the time you leave is consistently great. The restaurant is clean and the smells coming from the kitchen are awesome. Jackson’s has some elements of a traditional diner with lots of booths and some of the decor giving a nod to the nostalgic - but it goes well beyond and creates a cozy welcoming space that makes you almost excited to be here. This is our second time at Jackson’s and the food was again excellent. We were in time for Sunday brunch - and the menu had a little of everything to allow you to be choosy. I had the breakfast burger and it was really good - paired with a huge pile of what has to be some of the best fries in Northern Virginia. Burger was incredibly well executed - the beef was very flavorful. Don’t miss the huge fishbowl of mints on the way out - not sure who makes them but go ahead and take extra - you’ll thank me as these have to be the most flavorful hard candy ever. All in all one of the best dining experiences in NoVa.

Met a friend here for lunch. It is a very popular spot, it filled up really quickly at noontime. I was worried about the time, but the service was on point and the food arrived quickly. And the noise volume wasn't out of control as I was able to easily have a conversation across the table.

Stopped in Jackson’s Mighty Fine Food while on a business trip, and it was a great lunch! The service was extremely quick, and the menu had a lot of great options. Ended up going with the sautéed crab cake sandwich that was phenomenal. The remoulade was delicious and perfectly complemented the lump crab meat!! Ask for your fries extra crispy they were so good! Highly recommend!

Stopped here on way to Dulles to catch a quick bite. We were pleasantly surprised with the wide menu of many favorite foods! We started off with the blue crab and shrimp fritters, which were creative in appearance with a delicious red pepper sauce and a tasty corn relish. The fish tacos were too notch. I had the warm goat cheese and pecan salad that was wonderful! The Louisiana pasta with chicken and Andouille sausage was very good. The 5 year old had the kid’s cheeseburger which far exceeded typical kid’s meal fare.

I had TWO raspberry lemon drop martinis! We stopped in on a Friday night around 6pm, unfortunatlwy, there was a 40 min wait for a table, we were lucky and were able to grab 2 seats at the indoor bar. We orded the spinach parmesan dip, which was great. I ordered the pasta primavera along with the brussel sprouts and a basket of bread, which is delish. Prices are resaonable.

An above average American restaurant. Service was friendly and fast. The bread was amazing, it was fresh, hot, and great since we were hungry. We ordered the steak and crab cakes, jambalaya, deviled eggs, and ahi tuna. The steak/crab cake and deviled eggs were good. But the tuna sauce was too sweet for our liking. The jambalaya was about average.

One of our family’s favorite restaurants. The Aussie rolls (brought out to table with other breads) are killer with the sweet butter. Favorite dishes are the sea bass (Hong Kong style) drunken ribeye that just falls apart, and the short smoked salmon. Before ordering your entree I suggest ordering the devil eggs with the candied maple bacon. When they have it the homemade ho-ho is well worth the 2 million calories it packs.

The very first time Ive been to Reston I was brought to Jackson's right off the plane. I has the fish and chips, it was good and a super huge portion! Second few times I've been there was more for drinks. Stood at the upper bar. It can get pretty crowded up there. Cool place to hang out pretty much in the middle of the town square.

The food here is great but the rolls, oh my, the rolls are to die for. I would just order a bunch of their sweet suculent rolls if I could. Jackson's is a great place to go sit down as a family or with hang out at the bar with friends. The bar tends to be very loud but the inner restaurant is much better volume.

Pretty darn good! Wait staff is well dressed, kind and professional. We had the broiled crab cake which was big! Cole slaw is slightly unique and good and I always like the thin french fries. Price is more than I prefer to budget for, but once in a while, it's a great place to go.

I have enjoyed many fine meals at the numerous Great American Restaurants. My experience at Jackson's was disappointing. The executive chef passed away many years ago. The restaurant was named in his honor. I was excited to dine there but found that there wasn't anything on the menu which had been of his creation. I sat in an open bar area. One has to walk up to bar to order food. Every step has to be done by the client. Entirely too casual.

Jackson's food is prepared well and in good portion size. Service is timely and pleasant. Nothing on the menu stands out and I usually finding myself wishing I had gone to Sweetwater or one of the other Great American restaurants due to their menus having more range. Was a large back up at the host stand despite having a reservation. Arrived at 6:42 for a 7pm reservation and found ourselves still waiting for our table at 7:10.

Jackson's is a part of the great American family of restaurants that is centered around the Washington DC metropolitan area. Jackson's is probably one of the classier establishments in Reston Town Center, but it still casual enough to walk in wearing jeans and a polo shirt. My guess is if you're even more dressed-down (within reason, people), nobody cares. The food is fantastic and anything on the menu you get is going to be amazing. My favorite is the smoked salmon salad with blue cheese. I just can't get past it and get it just about every time I come in. Ozzy rolls are absolutely to die for, and if you haven't tried them with the sweet poppy seed butter you are missing an experience. Their deviled eggs with the pecan bits on top and candied bacon on the side are absolutely insane. I also highly recommend their corn tortilla chips with the fresh guacamole avocado dip (and the spicy pimento cheese)! Whether it's a business lunch or a nice weekend occasion, Jackson's or any of the other fine Great American restaurants in the area are great choices for a fantastic meal and excellent service. FYI, Great American Restaurant Group includes Mike's in Springfield, Saltwater Flats, Sweetwater Tavern, Carlisle Grand Cafe, and Jackson's and some other ones that I can't think of at the moment. Food was good but the drinks, service and cleanliness were really bad. We had the fish and chips and chicken and waffles which were excellent. There was lettuce and crumbs all over the floor that had obviously not been cleaned in a while and that our hostess clearly saw. We saw the waitress twice, once to order, then we had to call her out loudly to get the check. She never gave us water, never asked if the food was ok. Other people delivered our ordered drinks and food. My drink had no alcohol that you could smell much less taste and I had ordered a bourbon based drink! Felt scammed. Disappointing Sunday brunch, won't be going back.

Visited this place for the first time with some friends. They had been their before. Location is great. Reston Town Center is bustling. We didn’t make a reservation so there was about a 30 min wait. Menu is extensive. Not cheap but there are lighter options and heavier ones. I had the warm goat cheese and pecan salad. It really hit the spot for what I was looking for that day. Plenty of beer and drinks. Great date night restaurant or good for a night out with friends and family. Plenty of accommodations for children too.

My husband and I were driving home from an energetic birthday celebration/vacation with our four year old twin grands, and we needed a break in a grown up environment. Jackson's was on our way home, and on a whim we decided to stop in. With a wide-ranging menu that includes salads, sandwiches, and entrees, as well as a bar, we received excellent table service, in a restaurant that appears to have no "bad seating" in the house. We both selected salads as it was midday, and enjoyed generous portions: Waldorf Steak Salad and Chicken, Avacado & Beets salad. Simply delicious with a great presentation. If we ever get back to Reston, we're definitely returning to Jackson's.

I was here for lunch on a Sunday. Before being seated, I asked the greeter whether there are many vegetarian options for food here. She went out of her way to find out what was available and reported back in good detail. I knew I was in the right place! The ambience, service, and food are all excellent at this restaurant. They started me off with a small plate of 2-3 types of in-house bread. My! It was delicious. My brunch entree was perfect. The service was...excellent! At the end of my meal, my waiter was probably busy with another table. The waiter from the next table saw that I was looking a little lost and immediately came by to find out if I wanted anything more (I ordered coffee) and delivered it efficiently. Go! You'll be pleased with all they have to offer.

Secondly once the manager came out he was very rude and didn’t try to help resolve the problem and finally I was dissapointed because it was a simple order. This place NEVER disappoints me!! I go here at least three times a week with various friends, loved ones, and employees. The management is excellent, and you can tell they take quality control personally. The food is just fantastic - cooked to perfection. The steaks are amazing. Customer service is top-notch from beginning to end. The atmosphere is softly lit, spacious, and intimate. There's booth seating for dining inside (along with a full bar), and table/chair setups outside inside a private gate area, with a complete separate outside bar. The hosts and hostesses address me by name here. PERFECT PLACE for employee meetings, family gatherings, and (my favorite) date nights with the significant other. Jackson's is my favorite restaurant in Reston, hands down.

Prime Rib... Friday and Saturday after 5 pm. That's why I go. I live in the Town Center and walk over and enjoy a Friday night. I sit at the bar, and usually end up convincing at least 3-4 other people to get the prime rib. Now, I don't do much work... I just smile when it comes out and if you see the prime rib, it sells itself. Go check it out... you won't be disappointed.

You know, the food is great but the service is so consistently poor. This is one of those places where the staff only bothers with you if you look like you're gonna tip big. So make sure you go out and buy an expensive outfit and wear your jewelry if you want a decent time.

Food was amazing. Mussels with bacon onion and white wine sauce. Grilled cheese with bacon and caramelized onions. White chocolate bread pudding with bourbon caramel sauce. Only problem was my stomach didnt want the grilled cheese. Manager took off my bill even though I asked her not to. Service was exceptional too. Did not have a table full of dirty dishes. Well timed delivery of app entree and dessert. Coffee was good and strong and they seem to know how to make sweet tea just right. Thank you again for a very pleasant experience. Awesome food and drink....the staff is exceptionally friendly and on top of things. I had the corn and clam chowder and the Cesar salad - both were awesome with the chowder being exceptionally good. While you are waiting for your mains they bring you bread which is nice. There was a mix up in the kitchen with he order for the people next to us (kitchen got slammed about the time their order went in) and they were complaining to the bartender about the time it was taking....the manager was immediately on top of things and sorted it out to everyone's satisfaction. Would highly recommend this place for food and drinks and it has a really nice outdoor seating area when the temperatures are nice.

I love the blue craband shrimp fritters, real meaty. The cocktails are strong, the steaks are cooked right, the ambiance is nice as long as you're not next to a kid. The fried fish tacos with habañero slaw are to die for. They have a gluten free menu with a version of the fish tacos on a rice flour tortilla.

They also are the best because they made sure we could park free next door when Reston Town center decided to get greedy! It's good that Jackson's would not have it. Wonderful food! I ordered the vegan plate (not on the menu) which is fabulous. The bartenders are way friendly and make perfect cocktails. Shout out to Shanna (sp?) for taking such good care of me and my chapter bruhs! Lively atmosphere and terrific clientele.

The filet mignon with eggs and potatoes is a must have. The egg and potatoes are filling but the filet mignon is the boss. Calamari has good flavor but it's too spicy.

The menu is the same as every other Great American Restaurant in NoVA except for the lobster roll (Very Good). The service is strong but everything is a little too pricy. Food is good but nothing to write home about. I recommend the salmon salad with warm goat cheese.

Fantastic food and great service as one would expect from a Great American Restaurant. Prices are a little higher than average, but the quality of the food and the overall experience are commensurate with the cost. I've had the Jambalaya twice and it was delicious. Be sure to make a reservation as the wait can be long.

I have been in Reston on business and eating at a new place each night. This was number six. They had the best food and service so far. Ordered from the bar with Shana, who was awesome. The food is chicken penne primavera and lemon meringue. I could have ordered another penne it was so delicious. With several days left in Reston I want to try more, but may also just go back to Jackson's. Go early as this place is popular! Worth the wait if you just walk-in though.
