This place was delicious!! Also love the ambiance. I heard the seafood nachos were amazing so I decided to give them a try! Plus I love nachos and guess what?! ....AMAZING!! The crab cake sandwich was a little bland but the sauce was good but spicy. I had to ask for lettuce and tomato for the sandwich because it came out as just a crab cake on a toasted bun which I thought was weird. Overall it was worth trying when in Norfolk.

We made reservations for dinner and upon arrival we were seated immediately and our waitress was very friendly. Their menu ranged from seafood to steak and burgers and wraps. Everyone in our group ordered something different and everyone enjoyed their food. Really love the ambiance, the food and the place !! Really well located! And the portions were really good!! Not expensive at all!!

I loved this place. There were kids, so it was family friendly. Our server was awesome and on her game. It seemed smooth and even the people in the back came out to talk to us and get plates. The staff is the best. The food is even better. I had an appetizer that i would pay a full meal price for.

I had the jalapeno pineapple chicken and the potato wedges prepared by Q and the food was finger licking good. If you're ever in Norfolk it's a must place to visit. The atmosphere was magnificent

Hole in the wall atmosphere. Great happy hour times and a decent food selection. Give their fries a try; they're different from anywhere I've been. You can go in and just seat yourself fyi. Great for a first date or eating with friends. I went on a Thursday and there was live music. Highly recommend!

Firstly, if I could leave zero I would! 6/25 10:30pm My party and I stood at the entrance for what had to be 5 minutes as the brunette waitress with tattoos walked past several times. Her third time walking past she informed us it'll be a minute. Okay fine, but a little while later she is at the bar drinking and having an entire conversation. Another ten minutes pass and she comes by and says and I quote "I mean you can sit down" with an attitude. I don't know who's training this staff but this is the worst customer service I've gotten EVER. Needless to say we left. You'd get more attentive service in Hell than in Hell's Kitchen.

Place was recommended by a bartender at another restaurant so I stopped in for an appetizer and a drink. Place has a dive bar feel, bit of a younger crowd. I had the quesadillas and they were good, prices were reasonable, staff was friendly.

Honestly my group and I were super stoked to try this restaurant out, we heard great things and they had plenty of options for our vegan and vegetarian friends. We had a relatively large group coming, but they don’t take reservations which is fine, but a few people arrived early and got sat. When the people there asked the waitress if they could push a few tables together she was EXTREMELY rude to the group. She said in a very condescending way that if the rest of our group didn’t get there soon she would have to give away our table, WHICH IS FINE. Our whole group was service industry and we would have been totally fine if she had nicely told us our whole group has to be there otherwise she would need to seat someone else and put us on a wait, but instead she gave our friend a nasty look and made all of us feel extremely unwelcome. Worst part is it would have been a lot of money for the restaraunt and the server but because of how unwelcome we felt we chose yardhouse instead. Being in the service industry I understand how waits and reservations work but the server at this restaurant was extremely uncooperative. I would say I won’t be back, but I’m guessing you already knew that

Local spot that has more history than most statues in Norfolk. The beer is cheap, the bar food is good, the vegan stuff is great, the bands are fun. When there was a blizzard, the owner was outside shoveling "Yup we're open! Helll doesn't freeze over!" This bar is an absolute crown jewel of this city.

Not going to lie I wasn't expecting much. I had a bad day and my friend suggested this place for drinks and a chat. I loved to location and the inside as I walked in, it reminded me of home. We decided to get some food and I went with the bartender's suggestion of the crab cake. I warned her I was from Baltimore and I have high standards. My crab cake was actually really good, no fillers, or red pepper ( DONT PUT THAT IN YOUR CRAB CAKES PEOPLE) and lump crab meat throughout I was impressed. The meal also came with a side of potatoes (fries) they were amazing. Great way to cheer this girl up good people, good drinks, and great food!!!

We had a wide variety of food which consisted of the seafood nachos, the bone in wings (different sauces), the she crab soup, the ceasar salad, the A1 ceasar salad, the cheese steak, the salmon, the steak, the crab cake sandwich, and the southwest egg rolls. Overall the food was very good and I agree with the foursquare 8.9 rating. things I didn't really agree with was the she crab soup, I wasnt as fond of it as everyone else was but I will take nothing away from it cause everyone else loves overly flavored old bay taste. I loved the honey bbq wings, loved the seafood nachos, loved my a2 steak ceassr salad but i did think the pineapple jalapeno wings just tasted like buffalo wings. i was told the salmon was really good and the steak was okay even though it wasnt made the way it was requested so in the end 4stars and i probably return because the customer service was amazing even with alot of us. if we were in Norfolk again.

I was very surprised by the prices and more importantly the quality and taste of the food. Top notch! The wings were done perfectly and the Carolina Barbecue flavoring was tremendous! Having $1 PBR drafts was pretty sweet as well. If I'm ever in Norfolk again (please jeebus, no time time soon!) I'll definitely hit up Hell's Kitchen again.

Every time I've been to Hell's Kitchen I've received good service and never had to wait to get seated or for my order to. My allll time favorite thing on the menu is the seafood nachos you get a good size enough to share with friends and the best part is that it has she crab soup on it! And of course the steak and Gouda pasta you can never go wrong nice and creamy steak cooked well and just yummy.

Service was excellent from the moment we entered. Ginger was our server and very attentive. The She Crab Soup and Wings were very good. I ordered the Wings naked, with Lemon Pepper Dry Rub and Spicy Garlic Parmesan sauces on the side. The wings were a decent size and deliciously crispy, without any breading. The soup was definitely not your run of the mill generic version. It was full of bold flavor, but smooth, and could compete with high-end gourmet fare. It was a delightful combination of local neighborhood ambience, superb welcoming service, and well-crafted recipes that will appeal to foodies and those who want a delicious meal at a great value. I will definitely eat there again.

When you enter the place, it doesn't look like much but the beer was cold, bartender friendly and attentive and the sandwickes I got for take out---Excellent! The fries that come with it are actually slices of potatoes and very good. The Crab Cake sanwich was just that, crab, no fillers. The Turkey club wrap was fresh and very tasty. Walked by the place at night and there was live entertainment but did not visit at night.

WE FOUND A COCKROACH IN THE SHE CRAB SOUP! AFTER my husband had already taken 3 bites of it. I really wish I would have taken a picture, but we were in such disgust that we send it back immediately! Our waitress was extremely nice and apologetic about it though. We left anyway.

The boneless wings were like long strips that were burnt and drenched in bbq's sauce. The fries were overcooked round chips. The server Bernie (female) was rude. It wasn't great to me and I will not be back. Not recommended.

Had only been here for drinks years ago. First time ever for lunch. It's a bit dark for a daytime meal, but we moved to a table near the window. Food was good. I had a buffalo chicken sandwich with cut fries. Surprised the fries were round but they were yummy! My friend had cheese steak sub and broccoli and was impressed. They've a small selection of beers on tap but plenty more in bottles. A different place for lunch but would recommend!

I wasn't crazy impressed with their food selection. I had the seafood nachos (get the half serving!!) And some of the chips were burnt and many didn't have much cheese or anything on them. I expected A LOT more seafood if they are advertising SEAFOOD nachos. There was hardly any on it. 90% cheese or plain chips.

The menu makes the crab cakes seems like they're going to be delicious. I got them and was very disappointed. They were horrible. I definitely was not pleased, however the seafood nachos were tasteful. My sister ordered stuffed flounder fish was so thin. It had 4 little shrimp over it and a little crabmeat. However Service was very good. Becka was my server and she was wonderful. Brought everything out in a timely manner and had an amazing Personality. Bottom line is the seevices was way better than the food.

Crab soup was amazing. Huge clumo of crab meat in the middle with delicious bisque lie soup around it. Very cool building and location. Fun cool bartenders. We ate here after touring the battleship Wisconsin on our journey to sail Dragon's Lair from Florida to Wisconsin.

The food was ok; not impressive. The iced tea was good. The "French fries" were more like potato rounds. But good. Not fond of the dark decor or the benches with a end cap the has to be navigated whenever you get in and out of the booth. The waitress was friendly, liked making conversation, but a bit too friendly perhaps for some customers (my lunch companion found it excessive).

When we walked in at 455 pm the tables where all empty we where told 45 mins becasue the had a big party coming in at 6..my respose was we will have eaten and been fone by then...so lets review they wanted us to come back in 45 mins 14 mins before the part of 30....make sense...um no it doesnt.
