Lots of great options! I had the chicken tacos with the corn tortillas and they were amazing. A little pricey (but on par with the area). The drink list is extensive and looks great

Jacob Duley

Went for first bite on a Wednesday morning. The restaurant was a short walk from our hotel, and is in a great spot. If you have a few minutes to eat and look around the waterfront, this is worth the walk.

Ivo Pinto

Nice place to eat good food with friends.

Brittany Schneider

Scallops Meuniere was so good! One of the best things I ate my whole week in the area! Pizza was yummy and bigger than we expected. We also loved the pretzels. We.ate at the bar and saved us an extra long wait.

Joe Goodwin

Always a great dining experience. The food is some of the freshest and tastiest creations that I've eaten in my 47 years on this earth. We all had the brunch buffet which included honey pot fried chicken, breakfast jambalaya, chicken & pork sausages, smoked pork belly (my personal favorite), ham, pork bbq tacos, an assortment of desserts and the crab dip with toasted ciabatta and it was all delicious as usual. There were servers walking around with fresh fried shrimp which is always a hit at our table. Our server also made an order for the fresh baked cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing and they came to the table warm and not overly sweet. Great balance of flavor with the cream cheese. I've enjoyed lots of great food in New Orleans and the food offerings at Farmers, Fishers and Bakers ranks as some of my favorite foods ever. It's the stuff that #innerfatkiddreams are made of.

Richard Kilby

Treated my parents to a Sunday brunch here and was not disappointed. Staff is helpful and the food was excellent. Don't miss the cinnamon rolls. Great place to walk off a few calories after the meal too.

Jordan Jepsen

Service was a little bit slow but it seemed like they were understaffed. Food was good and very appreciative that they had vegan options!

Great team , but not a good variety of fish

Reina Tubo Bahn

Nice, spacious place inside but we preferred to eat outside because of the beautiful weather. Food was great. Service was great. We went on Friday evening around 630 and we were told to wait for 45 minutes. We kind of expected it.

Yesica Trawick

Fantastic atmosphere, great service and delicious food. Great family environment!

Out for some birthday dinner! Awesome choice! Food was great and I loved the atmosphere!

Three of us went for dinner on Sunday. We looked at a few restaurants and landed on fishers farmers bakers because it had the steak I wanted and the non-steak options my companions wanted. I ordered the NY Strip because I like my steak rare and a thick cut is necessary. The waiter returned after taking our order to say that the restaurant was out of NY steak. I asked if I could have the filet for the same price as the NY strip since I wanted a thick cut. The waiter said he would ask but that it was unlikely. He returned to say that the chef and the manager would not give me the filet for the same price. For a 5-dollar difference, I was not so concerned with the price but more with the principle of customer service. Sadly, the restaurant did not rise to the occasion. The order of mussels I ordered instead was not good. The wine, however, was very good. I will not return to a restaurant that does not put its customers first and seems not to appreciate the value of a satisfied customer.

Sharalys Silva

All the food and drinks I’ve tried here are very good, the place looks nice, and the staff is attentive. I looove the Whirley Pop Kettle Corn and the Death by Chocolate Brownie!!

Christina Ragone

Amazing location and great variety of food to satisfy any taste. Friendly service but does take a while. Plan on staying a min of an hour.

Katharine Oshea

Great service. Good food

Amber Leinhos

We had the most amazing meal and service. Everything we ordered was wonderful, and it was a great dining experience. Highly recommend.

Mike Tarpey

First time DC bruncher...You get what you pay for. This place did not disappoint with an incredible selection and super friendly service. It's in a prime spot on the water that really contributes to the atmosphere. Every bit of food I tried was fresh and fell apart in my mouth. The only complaint I can muster is that the sushi should be readily available all the time! Waiting for luck of the draw for a waiter to bring it around ended up with us not getting a chance to try everything...But we'll be back.

Laurel Sherman

One of the best meals I've ever had! We sat outside on the patio and had a wonderful time people watching and eating dinner by the fountain. This place has much better food for the same cost (or cheaper) compared to the other restaurants that are right next to the river. I recommend making a reservation in advance, but the wait is totally worth it if you decide to make a walkup reservation as well. We ordered the Hot Crab & Artichoke Dip, Fishers Fry Combo, and Simply Seared Sushi-Grade Tuna. The appetizer (Hot Crab & Artichoke Dip) was definitely our favorite!

Edna Sloan

Fantastic service Kevin is excellent! The food was fresh and delicious. Has the catfish, fries, and coleslaw.

Denise Thomson

The food at Farmers Fishers Bakers is always flavorful and delicious. I've been a few times and it is a solid option for when people come in from out of town. They have a wonderful drink menu that always has some interesting options. They have a wide selection of vegetarian-friendly options which is great for my family. The only tricky thing about eating at FFB is that you really need to have a reservation because the restaurant is super busy.

Matti Niemisto

Yup, the crab was definitely delicious. What can I say? Busy and popular for a reason :)

Molly Garner-Puff

The food here was delicious! I also had one of the best Arnold Palmers ever.

Matt Gerega

On the recommendation of a friend, made brunch reservations at the bar for Sunday morning. The food was amazing. Everything was freshly prepared, and the variety was great! Service was great, especially considering the number of people there for brunch. That building itself was well appointed and comfortable. The open concept makes it a little loud, but nothing that was unmanageable.

Dawn Sauer

Lovely casual atmosphere with great food. Excellent Sunday brunch, but also great for a relaxed dinner. You won't get weird looks if you come in here all fancy, but you'll be right at home if you wander in wearing jeans. Doesn't have views of the water and can get noisy, but it's delicious and charming enough that you don't end up noticing or caring. Service is consistently strong, even during the busiest times.

Derek Rebuck

Very unique place. It is related to the founding Farmers restaurants. Located near the Georgetown waterfront. There was a wait, but I suspect there always is. If you have a large party, call in advance. We ordered the pretzels , which were massive. You get 3, roughly 16" sticks. They didn't have the oil or grease typically associated with pretzels. The place makes their own sodas, liquor and food from scratch. We ordered the shrimp fry and sushi. Very tasty. Large portions, and the biscuits have a hint of heat to them. Service was a little slow. We ordered 10 mins before the tables to either side of us, and though we got our appetizers much before them, they were both nearly completely done eating before we got our food, and I wouldn't expect fried shrimp or sushi would take long to prepare. That being said, it was finals week for them, so I'm sure it made it more hectic. That being said, I shall still return back sometime soon.

Joey Jones

Delicious food, great service. Try the chocolate donut. I don't even like donuts, and I thought it was delicious.

Rosalyn Taylor

Gorgeous spot and amazing food! The service was a little slow but I imagine that was due to how busy brunch was. Loved the cocktails and mocktails!

John Hall

Lots of options at FFB -- and they're all good! Great location, too. Get reservations. Arrive early, as parking is tricky, and you'll want time for photos at the harbor. Portion sizes range from giant to "gosh, I wonder if they'll share a bite?"

Toby Lynd Carver

Let me start with a positive. The food was awesome. However, we waited for a table for so long. (I do not mind at all) when we finally got to sit down we waited 15 more minutes for server. When server finally came he was not apolagetic and I felt he was bothered by my questions. I spent over 100$ and I left in a bad mood because of the lack of service.

Scott Naiva

This restaurant is the best! It has more selection and better pricing than the surrounding places. I loved the charismatic atmosphere and stylish design. Also, the waitress was knowledgeable about all the dishes. I would recommend the cauliflower hummus, and the cedar plank salmon.

Benjamin Scott

A fair attempt to please a large range of customers. The staff in a word EXCELLENT. The food, Meh. Brunch is tricky to get right. For the money($33 each) it does the best it can (which could be better). I would suggest they keep it simple, keep cold food cold, hot food hot and don't over complicate your serving setup. Sushi here, dessert here, carving station here, salad & fresh fruit here drinks here. Hot mixed with cool/warm. Oh boi, get the tums.

Devin Campbell

We really enjoyed this spot. It's near the water, there's an entertaining colored light water fountain in the courtyard. My wife and I both had seafood dishes. The Chowder Bucatini was delicious and my wife's cedar plank salmon looked great. They also had a good selection of wines. The wait staff was fantastic even though the place was packed. We would definitely go back the next time we are in the area.

Onyinyechi A

I stopped by this location while in Georgetown shopping. The the location is pretty busy and they had a 40 minute wait time for a table. Luckily I was able to grab some seats at the bar and got seated within the first 10 minutes of arrival. Unfortunately I wasn't as lucky with the arrival of my food hence the reason why I gave them four stars instead of 5. The quality of the food and the cleanliness of the establishment was on par. I ordered the garlic black pepper wings as an appetizer along with my meal. It took almost 30 minutes to get the wings and another 25 minutes to get the remainder of my meal that you see pictured below or above. I would visit this establishment again and hopefully the slowness of the service was just a one-off.

Bassam A

Great place with amazing food, generous portions and fair prices. The dry aged New York steak and the chicken jambalaya were very flavorful, and the Böen Pinot Noir red wine was very good as well. Highly recommended.

Jenn H

Delicious, would highly recommend for a late night bite to eat and drinks.

Katie McGowan

As the sister of Founding Farmers, Farmers Fishers Bakers offers the same delicious, locally grown food with a twist. It is located right near the Georgetown waterfront, which is perfect for night out, and the food is delicious. There is such a warm, comforting atmosphere. If you want the same taste as Founding Fathers but with less of a wait, Farmers Fishers Bakers is a great place to try.

alexa lardieri

The food at this place never disappoints. I've been several times for lunch and dinner. Although I always have a reservation, my party and I always have to wait. The place is big with outdoor seating so I get that a lot of people are there, but maybe they can plan ahead better? I've always had to wait 15-20 minutes to be seated after my reservation time despite everyone in my party being present. However, once we do sit, the food is amazing. I've never had something I didn't like and never heard any complaints from people in my party. There are plenty of vegetarian/vegan/gluten free friendly options for everyone. The only slight annoyance is you have to request ice water. All they give you is small glasses of room temperature water.

Carlos F. Orta

Always love the “made from scratch” food at this place. Our waiter provided great recommendations and excellent service! Can’t wait to go back.

VICTOR CRIALES

We arrived at 1:51pm on a Saturday. We didn't want to sit outside, where there was no wait. We told them we would wait. Not expecting it to be an hours wait, since we saw open tables. About 50 minutes in, my girlfriend went to inquire about our table and they told her we would be seated next. We waited 10 more minutes because every other party continued to be seated before us. I talked to the host to inquire again and all I got was attitude. She told me that I should have expected the long wait. I told her that restaurants warn clients of long wait times, if one was expected, and they hadn't given us one. Once seated, our guac came 15 to 20 minutes after ordering it, and it was half the size of what they serve at other Farmers locations. Also, our server checked on us only once. I love Farmer's, however, do yourself a favor and go to another location. Staffing isn't this locations strong suit.

Bryan Henney

After waiting for 45 minutes, we finally got our drinks. 20-30 minutes after that, our food orders were finally taken, and I lost track of how long we waited for our food. Granted, we were a 1p top, but that was ridiculous. And on top of that, the food was over priced for what it was, and not very good. Add on top of that, someone in our party ordered the chicken sandwich and almost chipped their tooth on a bone. Why would they have bones in the meat on their sandwiches? I'm not coming back. I will say though that after our complaints, the manager was very apologetic and discounted a lot of our stuff because of our experience. That's why I am giving it 2 stars instead of 1.

Wendy Hobson

Outstanding food, service and atmosphere. Loved it and you will too! Try the shrimp scampi or the grilled cheese bacon burger!

Katrina M

This place is a solid go to. And if you go, the corn tacos are an absolutely must...an... absolute MUST. Very unique. The fried chicken was great, and so was the butternut cake. Would be great if this concept expanded to VA

Marta Kowalczyk

A great place for a special occasion. Our family has been going there for years. However, I have noticed a reduced selection in the food they offer. The quality of what is there is good. And when you are done eating it is very nice to walk outside and watch the boats and the people on the boardwalk.

Sharon Angela Naidoo

The food FRESH! The atmosphere BUSY! The staff where very good and came by to check on the table. The fresh pressed juices were so good!!! And the crab cakes where fantastic, I was still thinking about it the next day:). I would have the same thing again. Please ALAWYS make a reservation, the wait was long even with a reservation. We had called the ahead to inform the host we were stuck in heavy traffic, he was rude and informed that there is an additional wait as a result of us being late. Also the host could of informed us of a better place to wait instead of being at the door!!!

Joann Williams

Chicken and donut what can go wrong? Drinks great. Sat at.bar. as always

Gabriela Montes de Oca

Food was OK. But if you have any type of allergies to shellfish or nuts like my case you should definitely stay away from this restaurant. Both the server and the manager said that they fry all the fried food in the same oil for a matter of time constraints and they told me that since they serve to so many people and have so many cooks inside they have no way of assuring that food will not be cross contaminated. It’s seriously irresponsible for any restaurant to say this so lightly when so many other places do take proper care of their food so these things don’t happen. This limited my food choices terribly and on top of that, the service couldn’t have been any slower, from getting us a table (even though we had a reservation) and getting us the food and drinks. Definitely not coming back.

adam carr

It was so hot in the booth, do not eat here. The food was decent, just a poor dining experience. I informed the manager, he apologized.

Adrea Simmons

Best brunch out there. The food variety and quality is phenomenal. The brunch drinks are fun too. The service is excellent. Definitely worth making a reservation far out.

Kelle' Thorpe

Food is always superb and fresh. Some of the best crab cakes I've ever had (and I grew up in MD so I've had some pretty awesome crab cakes).

David Brenton

Solid food, decent amount of local craft beer selection. HAd to wait 10-15 minutes for a table on a Monday night so make a reservation if possible. Food was on par with founding farmers. Service was good, busy, trying to turn tables

Shivani Kharel

Great food and service as always! Part of the Founding Farmers restaurant group.

Heather Mitchell

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here! Our waitress instructed us that they make everything there from scratch and I could definitely taste it! It's def. a must try!

Dina Simmons-Williams

This is a great place. Dined here several times, well worth it. Something for everyone!!

Nikolai Hanov

Worst service we have ever received in the restaurant with Sheku. Rude, inattentive, worst attitude, and just hated if we asked any questions. Food was great tho as always. Would not recommend doing lunch there and stay away from that server!

Yale Levy

Simply Awesome. One of the BEST Sunday brunches I have ever had. Make sure you make a reservation...very crowded.

Anna Vaughn

Great group booth in a nook off the front door made for a cozy meal with our group of 7 in a place where it's usually hard to hold a conversation.

Gary Grantham

Great food and friendly service. The grilled cheese hamburger is amazing so be sure to consider that.

Jacqui London

We headed to Georgetown to soak up some old world DC charm. So we were a little surprised to pitch up at a thoroughly modern harbour with contemporary buildings. Farmers Fishers Bakers is just one of a number of eateries clustered along the waterfront, and around a central fountain just off the Potomac. It serves freshly and sustainably sourced food, with a skew towards seafood. We were a large party and had a variety of dishes from the fish fry combo to the brick chicken, via cauliflower steak and an impossible burger, washed down with bottomless lemonade and a couple of bottles of wine. All of the food was delicious, although there was a huge amount of it and we all felt stuffed afterwards. All of the restaurants at the dock looked decent, and some had better views, but Farmers Fishers Bakers was certainly a good pick.

Trevor Ray

Had some friends in from out of town and as always FFB didn't let me down. Great service, great food and our waiter was awesome. (But I did forget his name)

jan marc bautista

We Celebrated our anniversary here and it we had a great time. They gave us complimentary drinks 2 for us and juice for our kid. The food was great. The service was excellent. Will recommend.

Lew Sanford

Wonderful food in a nice setting. Our seared tuna and scallops with risotto were perfect and our waiter was super! Don't miss the unlimited lemonade.

ghazal arabi darrehdor

I ordered the avocado veggie sandwich, which was delightful! Even my meat-lover friends loved it. My friends were absolutely amazed by the filet, steak frites, fried chicken, and fish chips and beer. The sushi was not good, and the pizzas were okay. My problem: We were a group of 14 and were told to wait for 3 hours to sit together, which we did, and at the end were seated at 3 different tables. Also, when my sandwich arrived, instead of their special apple and walnut bread which I love, they had substituted regular bread. I was not happy with the fact that they changed it without asking my opinion. However, when I told them, they gave me a coupon for a free sandwich for the next time I visit. I will definitely go back.

Amy G

Service - 4, very friendly, slightly slow, hard to hear with the music and restaurant noise. Food - 4.5 - the tortillas were a bit hard with the guacamole. Atmosphere - 5 Drinks - 4.5 - tasted great but the Hawaiian glass was deceiving, very little volume inside. I wouldn’t get the guacamole again, nothing exciting. The tacos were good, but nothing exciting. Great view of the area and a very eclectic menu.

Franklin Mercado

Consistently great food, good location. One of my favourite restaurants.

Maria Cockrell

I could feast just on the cinnamon bun and rolls alone.. their genius version of a bread basket. The buffet had a limited but tasty assortment of things. Would have been 5 stars but it was so busy, they were unable to replenish the buffet items fast enough, which made for a slightly frustrating experience. The wait service was good. They walked around giving out sushi rolls but walked past us everytime with no offer of 1, which was a bummer. Overall, I'd give them another try.

Richard Alderman

Great meal. Wonderful patrons for our sons

王涵

Not good experience for the first visit. I came in and made a reservation at around 12am. After waiting for more than an hour, we were led outside. YEAH, it's really hot out there and then we were told there's only buffet and drinks. The counter didn't tell me anything about that and nobody asked what we needed. When we asked for some help, everyone seemed aimlessly busy and totally ignored me and my guests. Ok, they may offer good food, just try after 2:30!

Tommy Lawrence

Wow! Definitely one of the best spots on the waterfront in Georgetown. Everything is made from scratch (including the sodas). The cocktails were excellent, even when ordering the "Ward Eight" off-menu whiskey cocktail. Their bar is apparently a "pre-prohibition bar", so they are heavy handed (which makes up for the prices)!! Our waiter, Michael, was also excellent. He was a pleasure to have as a server and definitely made an awesome day better. The only thing to improve on was overall spice use, some things seemed bland (I'm looking at you cauliflower hummus and fish fry). Other than that, definitely will be back.

Brittany Cauble

It was my first time there. They was friendly and patient because I didn't know what i wanted. Like almost everything that was coming out of the kitchen was looking soon good. My family and I was basically was eating from each other plates to try it. But you maybe to book your group reservation before you get their just to be safe. U may have too wait for a table. Luckily we may a reservation.

Emmaline Long

Had been looking forward to trying this restaurant but unfortunately my experience didn’t live up to the hype. Service was incredibly slow- the table next to us was seated after us and got their drinks before we even put in an order for ours. I ordered a small beer for $5 and it was literally a tasting glass... what a disappointment. Food came quickly and was decent, but again, didn’t really live up to the hype. Too loud for my enjoyment. Overall, liked it but didn’t love it.

Linde-Marie Amersfoort

Amazing food and good service. Pity we only went for lunch - must be amazing at night time. Do give the giant onion rings a go!

Monique Luisi

Their adult beverage selection is impressive. Very excellent service and food! The location and the views added to the experience.

K. S.

So rude! Made reservations for mothers day weekend and when we get to the restaurant they tell us that somebody called and cancelled. Not true! We ended up not being able to be seated but luckily we were able to go next door. If you call and make reservations, make sure you call the day of and confirm. They will cancel your reservation without you knowing

Ashlina Chin

Wow, this place is incredible. I can see why it's one of the most recommended brunch places in Georgetown. The atmosphere is beautiful and so are the displays of food. Go in hungry because there are so many things that you'll want to try. The cinnamon rolls and ham seemed the be the most raved things between myself and my boyfriend. Highly recommend.

Joanne Mauriello

Great lively place. Assortment of food tremendous. We had escarole, bean cold salad with a delicious vinaigrette. Tuna tartare, seafood in a broth bowl. And great onion rings. Service and atmosphere wonderful

Audrey Something

Amazing, amazing service and our waitress Jacky was a wonderful person. Just great experience overall. We accidentally ordered cheese on something and we had to get a new order. They had amazing service and completely took that order off the bill. The manager even came out and apologized. The new order came out extremely quickly.

Patrice M.

Had the scallops and risotto, that was pretty good. I'd get it again. The garlic black pepper wings were really good. They looked burnt but that's how they're supposed to look, the taste was awesome. The pimento cheddar biscuits were really tasty as well. And for my drink I had the Missionary Downhill, taste really good.. reminded me of a Mojito.. overall good experience, I'd definitely go back!

Debbie Barker

Awesome brunch. Great coffee. Very friendly staff.

Adrienne Bowden

This place is always crazy busy bit the food was good. They took our order but had runbout of the special by 730 , which was a disappointment. Drinks were ok.

Pooja Varma

I highly recommend brunch! Its very worth the price, it had a variety of savory and sweet options. Giving three stars because of service! Consider sitting inside because I did not have the best time outside and did not receive the best service until I got inside. This management should be more receptive to customers needs and experience. People are not coming for free, they are paying a lot and tipping well, we had an issue with our table and the manager was acting like it wasn't her problem.

Erich Meier

The meals are amazing and only surpassed by the desserts. Please, please, please save rin for dessert. The peanut butter chocolate mousse which was beyond amazing!

Ronald Lerma

Went last night, took some friends who are visiting from Asia so I figured this is the perfect place for some good American. Awesome food, I think I prefer eating in over brunch if you are with people who like to share food. It usually tastes better than the buffet for me. We got the crab artichoke dip, fish taco, fried chicken jambalaya and ribs. All good except they put figs in the taco, kinda weird.

Morten Williahm Einarsen

Lovely food, serviceminded personell, lovely bar and restaurant. Enjoy

Nina Gordon

Our 12 y/o son made his first reservation for Mother’s Day, at Georgetown, Washington, DC. Great location. Beautiful rustic decor. Positive reviews. We had every expectation to have a positive experience. The service was friendly but unfortunately, painfully slow with many mistakes. When appetizers were served, one was as we ordered, the other wrong. so we thought they made a mistake with one. No! They were from another table, who did not get theirs. Ours arrived half hr later. Diet Coke took so long to arrive, we were done w dinner and we said “forget it”. The waitress was pleasant but incompetent & kept apologizing, made poor food recommendations, 2/4 in our party hated the dinner & did not eat it. Poorly managed place. Poor service ruined the experience. We could not get out of there fast enough & very likely will not come back.

TheDivaCountess

A really pleasant experience. The food is farm fresh and cooked to perfection. Service was great and you have a view of the Georgetown water front. The pepper chicken wings are to die for and all the seafood selections have been great. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Ryan Smith

The Sunday brunch is a must if you are visiting DC or just looking for a great place to eat with friends. The atmosphere is eclectic and adds to the farmhouse feel. They have a little bit of everything for everyone. The waitstaff is friendly and proficient. Be sure and make reservations because it gets very full very fast. I highly recommend coming with an empty stomach because there is plenty to try.

Jasmine Majors

I came to Farmers Fishers Bakers for the weekend brunch buffet and loved it! The buffet had everything from brisket (my favorite) to chia seed bowls to french toast to fish, sushi, and fried chicken! They bring cinnamon rolls and biscuits to your table. They also bring around fried shrimp! I definitely will come again!

Brad Buskirk

Food, cocktails, service were all amazing. Never been disappointed. Definitely a place you crave all the time

Diane Rosington

"Farmers Fishers Bakers offers a full bar with 24 beer taps, delicious hand crafted tiki cocktails, and a refreshing coastal cuisine including sushi, pizza, fresh fish, tacos, and a sunny patio with water views. We're proud to make food from scratch with ingredients you can trust." Our Restaurant Week lunch was disappointing actually. Most likely based on our choices, but disappointing nevertheless. The best part was the dessert - a baked carrot cake donut with cream cheese frosting and a scoop of ice cream! YUM! Our server, Miriam, was pleasant and attentive. The 4th star is for her.

lucia jennings

My first time at the restaurant and was expecting great seafood since it appeared to be well recommended by 4.3 stars. My experience was Awful. The plates I ordered were so disappointing that we decided not to order main courses. The calamari was soggy and cold and the mussels pot felt like it was cooked several hours before it was served.

Cee Cee

I ate there today. Hadn't been there in a while. The food was good but the cleanliness wasn't. I had an acute allergy attack due to all of the dust on the glass figure and wood counter tops. It was disgustingly dusty. I enhaled so many irritants. As a rule of thumb, the glass boxes and wood countertops should be cleaned closing and in between customers.

Going With The Joe JP22

Sat at bar for drinks and nibbles. Good vibe. Barkeep Roger was attentive and personable with excellent suggestions. Their versions of a Moscow Mule and a Cucumber Vodka cocktail were quite good. The Tomato and Basil Pizza was very tasty with a perfect chewy crust. The Scallops with Butternut Risotto was truly SENSATIONAL. Unfortunately for 26 dollars, 4 scallops were not enough. Interestingly, we were told there would be 6 scallops. No explanation was given.

Kristina Mosby

The food & service was amazing! This place goes in my top 5. That really means alot coming from a top reviewer like my self! Keep up the good work management & staff!

Tim Couch

Good variety with well prepared food! Super friendly waitstaff that made good suggestions! Funky men's restroom

Note: This review is only for First Bake, their breakfast that runs from 7:30-10:30 AM every weekday. First Bake is an absolute godsend and is definitely one of my favorite breakfast stops in the Georgetown area. Their menu is fairly limited, but everything they have is simple, delicious, and so incredibly cheap. I absolutely love their Bird in a Nest and their Cinnamon Rolls are fantastic if I'm craving something sweet. However, the true star of First Bake is their baker's toast -- for just $2, you get a giant slice of the most amazing toast (I usually opt for their cranberry orange bread with honey butter, but I've also heard great things about their brioche with chocolate butter and multigrain with cinnamon butter) that makes for a satisfying and cheap breakfast.

GeenaArr Emm

Food was mediocre. Service not great, server put in wrong order twice then charged us for food we didn't order. Very noisy atmosphere as well.

Cameron Boozarjomehri

Got a chance to compare a typical 100% beef burger with an impossible burger and wow, the over all quality of food is great! But I think you're better off with the beef of you're hungry for a good burger...

Binu Abraham

Loved it! A great place to hang out and enjoy the view as well as grab a bite. A really laid back fun atmosphere with lots and lots of people. Made me feel right at home like in California. Food was fantastic and both organic and tasty. I ordered the mixed fish platter and it was too much food for two people. We were a party of 5 and every body said their food was fantastic.

Emilio Herrero

Nice place and the most important te food is good. Very crowded in the peak hours weekends. You can make a reservation online... Good idea!!

Thomas Escobar

Went for the brunch as it was open at 10 am. It's buffet style and includes many many items. Including baked goods and 4 different styles of pork, tacos, and traditional breakfast fare. Would definitely come back again as the drink menu is interesting

Athena Ronquillo-Ballesteros

Great food but service was slow and kinda ruined the experience. Went here for late lunch today with our guests visiting from LA. We were 8 in the group and got seated right away(we reserved via open table). We liked the food, we sampled the calamari, the Brussels sprouts salad and the pretzels to share as appetizers. Gone in a few minutes! We had (for mains) the fish fry (was good but a bit over fried), the mussels in a pot, the bacon grilled cheese and burger, the scampi pasta, the baby back ribs and the crab cakes. Everybody enjoyed the food. Oh and we were hesitant at first but ultimately loved their own version of ginger ale it was so refreshing! We came at 315 pm and it’s still a bit busy but not as busy as brunch. Server was very nice but kept forgetting to give us essentials (cutlery, water, napkins etc). Service was a bit slow. And when we asked other servers for things we need (like hot water) or cutlery or take out box they also took forever to come back and serve. Wasn’t very pleasant experience. So not sure I want to bring another set of guests here.

Great fresh food. Excellent variety. Our waitress was fabulous.

Kristine Lindsey

Went there for a weekend late lunch. Restaurant (inside) was uncomfortably warm. Service was terrible. Took forever. Even getting a glass of ice took 20 minutes. Meals did not come out together. We needed to alert our server when she skipped people while ordering. She needed several reminders over 30 minutes to bring a glass of lemonade. Server was MIA most of the time. (It was not that busy.) Food was so-so. 2 of my 6 sushi rolls had no fish. Definitely NOT going back!

Ray Essick

Tasty food and lively atmosphere -- even for a mid-week dinner outing. On the Georgetown waterfront for a walk before/after dinner; a (somewhat longer) walk to the Kennedy Center for a show afterwards.

Phillip Christopherson

Awesome atmosphere and the food and drinks are all made fresh and from scratch. Service was excellent as well. Friendly and attentive staff make the place run smooth and their knowledge of the food is extensive. Desserts are made in house from scratch as well. Great place to eat with your family, from booths to big family size tables this place is a must go when in Georgetown.

Wow! Everything was amazing. Our entire meal was more than we were expecting. The ingredients were fresh - as if someone had just harvested the vegetables, butchered the chicken, and caught the salmon an hour before it was prepared. We loved the ambiance and the location on the harbor as well. We will most definitely be back on our next visit to DC.

Rowena Becit

Did not disappoint. Ordered mussels in wine garlic sauce and the mussels were plump and flavorful. Hubby ordered fish and chips which was also very good. My son wants nothing on his burger and yet it was a very tasty burger- my fave so far. Ordered scallops which are hands down the best one I’ve ever had. To cap the meal we had key lime pie which I am usually not a fan of since I like coffee or choco based dessert but enjoyed it so much. Highly recommend.

Michael Schneider

The honey pot chicken was amazing. I'm dropping a star because the service was a bit slow.

Izzy C

My favorite restaurant of all time. I go here for every special occasion. The food is great and the staff is friendly.

Sherrice Carpenter

The food and atmosphere was amazing. I always enjoy myself.

Sean Lhuillier

Great food. Excellent bar and beer selection. Very loud however.

I wanted to love this place, but I was disappointed by the slow service. We didn’t receive drinks until 3 on for a 2 pm reservation. The food was solid (and not bad for the price), but nothing blew me away. We tried the pizza, sushi and a salad. I’d order the margarita again!

Katie Sobeck

So I want to give it more stars, but my scallops were under and my dessert was wrong, but the flavors were so good that I'd try it again. If you go, get the ice cream, it was insanely delicious.

Caroline Teets

The scorpion bowl mai tais are amazing and a great deal. We shared a bunch of small plates and it worked out really well. The sushi was a bit pricey but the rolls were larger and well constructed. Service was good, although we were sat 20 min after our reservation. That being said, the restaurant closed while we were still eating and no one pressured us to leave or even mentioned it. I would definitely go again.

Jennalee Thompson

We went here the other night for restaurant week for we got the 3 course special for $35!! Our waitress Mariam was so helpful, honest and sweet! She was patient with all my questions because I'm so indecisive! Everything we tried was SOO good!! I loved the corn cake salad, the salmon, and the chocolate donut with ice cream! We will definitely be back (hopefully for brunch)!!

Lizeth Herrera

Chelsea made our first anniversary stop a success! She is sweet, considerate and knowledgeable. A few others staff members can learn from her. Thanks Chelsea ! Oh and yeah the food was great!

I came here for dinner around five on a weekday. We didn’t have reservations, but got seated quickly. The food was really good, but I thought it was pretty overpriced (at least for the vegetarian options... my friends got food with meat that was cheaper than the veggie stuff). Our waiter was nice, but made a few mistakes. Overall, everyone was happy with the food, but I’d probably only go back for special occasions. I’d give 3.5 stars if I could, but rounded up because the food was delicious.

Keiosha Hunt

ALWAYS make a reservation for this restaurant and any of their sister locations. Seating is usually pretty cramped for small parties, I feel like the tables are never big enough for parties of 4 or less. Service is slightly above average but be prepared to ask for things multiple times. I get it, it’s busy but if I’m paying above average prices I expect my service to reflect that as well. The food is amazing and so are the cocktails, especially the scorpion bowls. Good and drinks are the only saving graces here.

Recommended by a friend to try this place. Tried crab cakes of the first time and it was delicious. We ordered the seafood sampler and a salad. Great place to eat.

M Goldberg

Came for brunch with another couple. Got a wonderful seat by the window. All decided to have the buffet. Good food. Some excellent, some so-so. The Mexican pork was wonderful. The dips were also very good. We got an order of cinnamon buns and they were the best thing I ate all weekend! The bloody marys are spicy (we were warned) so after one, we went for the brunch bowl to share (champagne, rum, other flavors) served with four straws and an "erupting" volcano. Very fun. Had never seen passed trays at table service but the passed shrimp were great! Service was impeccable! Definitely recommend!

Andrew M. Travis

I got the seafood jambalaya and it was pretty good. Very filling, just could have used some more seasoning. I’m giving this place a low rating because the service was SO slow and didn’t enjoy the service. The reason I’m giving some stars is because the pain killer was good and sitting outside on a beautiful evening next to the fountain was worth it. Will probably check out the restaurant next door next time that has a Michelin star.

Lanis Panny

Very good. Gr8 beer menu...awesome food menu and gr8 wait staff. Fish Tacos and Blue Cheese were very good.

Hannah Hodgson

I want one in Rhode Island. Everything is 5 stars.. relaxing, great crowd, great food, bright and clean. Service is excellent.. a well-run operation!

Lucas Matar

Great atmosphere. Tasty food. Friendly service.

Amanda Skrabut

Fabulous food. Sat promptly. Service was quick. Our party was two families dining with kids. A little disappointed there was no kids menu. But, everything else was great.

renee marcinkoski

Very crowded. Only the buffet brunch was available for $32. Disappointing. Were not accommodating to an infant in stroller.

We arrived at 10:40 and gave our name and phone number to the hostess. They told us it would be a 30-40min wait and that they would text us when the table was ready. We left and waited for about an hour without hearing anything. We went back and they told us that they had tried to text us but the system was not working and that they would try to find us a table in 15 min. They apparently weren't planning on letting us know in anyway that this was happening. We could have beem waiting indefinitely. We waited for 20 more minutes without any updates and asked again. They told us to wait another 10 min for a table. At this point we decided it was not worth the time and money so we left.

Came in with a group on Thursday, 8/29, evening. Brunette hostess in blue jumpsuit had a nasty disposition. Be careful whom you hire on the staff. The manager on duty and waiter were pleasant and made the experience enjoyable. Work on customer service: make customers feel welcomed, if you do not want to be at work, do not show up! Because you hurt the brand in which this restaurant is part of a chain of restaurants that I frequent. I am a local but my party were visiting the area for the first-time and more than one person commented on the hostess' bad attitude.

Nichola Forsyth

Fòod was decent but service was increadibly slow. It took almost an hour for us to get a table and our first drink despite having a reservation. Everything came out in fits and starts. We have been here for almost 2 hours and 3 of us have just finished our entrees and my husband has not been served his yet.

Alexandra Brown

Great Sunday brunch buffet. Hard to beat the quality and variety of selections. They used to provide more extras for the wait service portion. It seems they cut back a bit. But still totally worth it.

izzy Jones

Brought an out of town friend here and we were not disappointed. The crab cake is mostly white crab meat and seems to be broiled. The Cole slaw is crunchy and creamy but not overly so. Keep in mind the sandwich is toped with slaw, so consider a different side dish unless you're a slaw fanatic. The apps were all yummy. The black pepper wings had the perfect balance of light spice and garlic. Squeeze the lime on top to enhance the flavor. The brussel sprout salad was equally tasty. The crispness and tangy undertones combined with the blue cheese crumbles were yum! The crab and artichoke dip was another favorite. It's cheesy, creamy, crabby and served with warm bread. If you love crab and warm bread, this app is not to be missed. Depending on your hunger level, several apps could be filling for a party of two.

Christopher McRoy

We ate at the bar at Brunch to avoid wait at the door. Service was great, the cioppino and fried shrimp absolutely delicious. One of the BEST Bloody Mary's I've had in DC.

D Heidler

Farmers Fishers Baker's was good, just not great. We had an OpenTable reservation. Checked in early but seated 15 minutes after my reservation time. Had the pretzels. Not bad but the outside was inconsistent. Some parts were perfect but some parts stood right at the line of over done. Three dips but no brown mustard, weird. Gazpacho was good and a good portion. Not sure why the sour cream was there with no other garnish. Had shrimp scampi for dinner. Excellent flavor. Loved the spinach, sauce and gnocchi. Gnocchi were soft and pillowy. Not heavy just very good. The shrimp were tough. Over cooked. Other table fails - meatball sandwich on a round bun, no salt or pepper shakers (grinders) on the table. Sweet potatoes on salmon plate were perfectly cooked. A bit caramalized to perfection. Overall, not bad but too many fails to impress.

M B Delissaint

Great food! Their local whiskey was really great.

V Jordan

Great appetizer wings--Garlic Black Pepper. Service was very good.

Yolanda

Waitress was great, food while not served pretty, was very tasty. We had cauliflower hummus (recommend extra radishes for this .. sounds crazy but was really good) ... salmon and a burger. Rating a 4 instead of 5 not because of the food but because of the timing of food service and lack of customer service by the waiter. The meal came out almost immediately following appetizers - within a couple minutes. The waiter literally tossed my plate on corner of the table so much so that some of the food literally fell out of the plate. He made no attempt to help make anything fit. Instead of putting my sons on the table - there was no room- he just handed him (without warning) a VERY hot plate and then walked away. No we had not been rude to anyone before or after his behavior, so no idea what was going on but the lack of customer concern was alarming. Table was small and by the time you have two full size plates for appetizer plates, appetizer and dinner on the table the plates were literally on top of each other. We had to call the waitress back to remove the appetizer and plates and box them up so we would have space to eat dinner. While I do recommend trying this restaurant, be prepared - if you like your meal after the appetizer, advise the waitress ahead of time.

This is a nice restaurant and I haven't hear anyone say they got a dish they didn't thoroughly enjoy. I did find the food takes a little longer, so it's not a place to have a quick lunch for sure. It can also get a little loud in there with the tall echoey open room, so I wouldn't encourage large parties during busy times unless you really only want to talk to whoever is right by you. Decent vegetarian food as well.. And definitely try their biscuits!

Roman Sannikov

Had a team dinner here with 8 colleagues. The food and drinks were excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the restaurant views aren't right on the river but close enough to still be very pleasant. I look forward to visiting again next time I am in the area.

Ken Noroozi

The place is nice n cozy but DO NOT EVER that Sushi grade Tuna. You will puke, I’m serious don’t waste your $27.

Darrell Griffin

Family and friends are gone there to celebrate my daughter's birthday the atmosphere was great the food was outstanding and the service was also while standing. Didn't have to wait long for service.

UPDATE 6/15: I was contacted by the restaurant, and together we arranged a new reservation to visit again in order to try the restaurant with my partner and family. We were seated after waiting for about 5 minutes. No one came to the table for another 5 minutes, so I went back to the host station to ask if brunch was a la carte or completely buffet style. This confusion could've been avoided had someone -- either the person who seated us, or a server -- said something to the effect of "You can head up to the buffet when you're ready. Someone will come to your table to take drink orders." Note: We did have water at our table within the first 5 minutes, unlike the last time I went to FF&B. I also asked the host if there was a note from management on my reservation. At that point, he seemed to see a note -- ostensibly from management. He assured us that a manager would stop by to see how our meal was going. From then on, our service was a little better, but my dad had to remind a server that he'd asked for a latte. I appreciate the considerate, comped danishes; but unfortunately, my family has health issues that prevent us from eating these kinds of foods. The buffet foods were inventive and delicious - they have far more to offer than I've ever seen in any other restaurant brunch. Unfortunately, even with generous assistance from management, members of the staff seemed confused and disorganized throughout our visit. I must make an exception for the woman who ended up assisting us the most; as she put effort into making sure my family was well taken care of (despite the fact that she seemed stretched thin with work). A few people asked how our food was during brunch, but I'm not sure we were visited by a manager during our meal, as no one identified themselves as such. I guess I would try it again -- the food was very good. However, I now know not to go there for special occasions, as experience tells me it won't go smoothly, and they might forget about my party throughout the evening. I'm not a picky diner (I've reviewed my dining experiences less than a handful of times in my life), so I'm positive this isn't a matter of unrealistic expectations. I only hope the problem is that I (personally) had bad luck at FF&B twice -- that my experiences are a fluke, and not representative of what I would experience again at FF&B if I choose to try again in the future. _______________________ ORIGINAL REVIEW: I made a pre-theater reservation for my partner's birthday in April. I requested (and was told they reserved) a window seat for the special occasion. When we arrived, there was no hostess for quite some time. I finally chased someone down, and she told me they didn't have a window-side table for us, despite the reservation. When they finally did seat us, it was at a table that smelled of mold. Feeling sickened by the smell, we asked to move outside, even though it was hot and sunny. No one came to great us at our table for 10 minutes, so we left. I'm very disappointed. I had to make special arrangements to get out of work to celebrate this special occasion, and we ended up not having time to eat because staff that day didn't seem to care about us one bit.

Bode

The brunch is delicious!! Love the grapefruit brûlée.

Kayla Charles

Staff was extremely friendly and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the prime rib if you're lucky enough to get it before it sells out! It was so good I ate it so fast and didn't get the chance to snap a picture. My sister got the seafood jambalaya and she says it was amazing. A great experience overall!

Viviana Garcia

We had the salmon and tuna plate, and they were delicious. The salmon had a sweet glaze, and the tuna with the brussel sprouts was the best combination. The margarita was on point too. For my first time in DC, this restaurant and area is a must go. Do have to add, it would be best to make reservations before hand.

Shawn Peterson

This place was jammed packed at 2pm on a sunday. I was luck to get a seat at the bar. The food and drink where amazing and it is cool it's owned by farmers.

Brandon Wood

Had to wait over an hour to get a warm welcome plate. Only half the plate came out. Cinnamon roll looked like it had been dropped on the floor. Made me sad Buffet food was good. Service ruined the experience

Adam Nelson

Nice brunch buffet, but not $35 nice.

Vivian Leslie

Good service. Great cocktails. Great food. Nice crowd and ambiance.

Italia Capone

Great food, super fast service and awesome bartenders and wait staff.

Khiya A.

Convenient location if spending the day around the harbor area.

Meredith Burton

Have only had great experiences here. This is a great place to come for a nicer lunch during the work day. Had multiple lunches with my team from work and a lunch with my husband, and all have been stellar. They have so many options, including seafood and cocktails, and they always deliver on quality, freshness, and taste. The acoustics in the place aren't the best - it can get a little loud, especially if you're trying to have a discussion over a meal, but otherwise the atmosphere is great, and there's even outdoor seating overlooking the river. The service has always been incredibly attentive, even with our groups of 10+, and they're always accommodating with allergies.

aziza cheikhna

Very elegant and cosy. The food is amazing. I strongly recommend it.

Jeremy Yowell

Very varied menu with above average sushi, and great drinks. The drinks did take a long time to arrive, and the pretzels were sub par. Would recommend the shrimp scampi!

Francis Bartkowiak

I hate to give this place such a poor grade, but I have to be honest - I ate here tonight and had a poor experience. First, we showed up and put our names on the waiting list. We were told it would be an hour and a half. After that, we were told fifteen minutes. After that, we were told we were top of the list. Ten minutes later we received a text saying our table was ready. It turns out it wasn't though, and there was a mistake so we got the text for a different party. If that were the only issue, it'd be fine. However, there were a few more annoyances. While we waited, we ordered drinks at the bar, and the wait at the bar was ridiculous. I ordered a burger medium well. It came out medium raw (very pink). Another person ordered fish and chips with a side of coleslaw. The plate clearly sat under a heat lamp for far too long as the coleslaw was very warm and there was a film developing over the tartar sauce. Also, the temperature in the restaurant as a whole was way too high. It didn't feel like there was any AC running. My main issue is that this is a Saturday night in June. They should be prepared for this type of crowd. They should be better staffed to handle things. I think many improvements could be made here.

Igor Dobrijevic

Been here for brunch and it was okay... Now for dinner and food is a little bland with the service being slow and forgetful. Loud and busy. Do not recommend.

Nick Vukmir

Food was great and the value was on par for the location of the area. Only issue I had was that I had a reservation and proceeded to wait 30 minutes to get my table. This has been a common issue I’ve had with this chain of restaurants. That being said, they have an extensive beer menu, amazing appetizers and entrees. I had the ny strip with enchilada and they were phenomenal.

David Abercrombie

The food was good and service was good too. The initial seating was not satisfactory as the restaurant was not that full and we were seated, a party of 5, in a small booth even though we had a reservation. We had to ask to be moved and we we reseated at a table for six.

Micah Barber-Smith

Ah-mazing service, atmosphere and food! We are most definitely going back!
