This was a wonderfully unusual find. The food was great. They offered many vegetarian and vegan choices, the carnivores in the group agreed that all of it was very yummy. Their pizzas were very good and they have a wide selection to suit any taste. The night we went there were several performers and it was a good mix. Had great fun. Sitting there in a little strip mall, you would go right past it thinking it is a dive bar. Encourage you to go in and enjoy a good meal, friendly staff, and great music.

Pretty disappointed. I went here after hearing great things from friends but my experience was pretty awful. I walked in and sat down just to be ignored for 10 to 15 minutes by the staff. I walked out without being served or even being acknowledged at the least.

Cool local restaurant, with a nice setup for live music. Bar is interesting, but doesn't have a great selection of craft beer. Food is generally Mediterranean, but with some interesting twists.

Hidden treasure in Fairfax. Stopped in just to hang out in the rooftop bar. Happily surprised and impressed with the diverse menu and extensive options. Everything we tried was fabulous... stuffed artichokes, southwest salad, Jesse's Girl sandwich, Be My Little Chickpea pizza. New regular customer!

Wonderful surprise to have multicultural musicians playing 4 songs followed by some awesome jazz musicians jaming while we ate. I had excellent gluten free pizza and my companions both enjoyed their pita pizzas!

It's really laid back. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The gyro was shockingly awesome. The atmosphere was pretty hipster but people were still having a lot of fun. The only reason I have it 4 not 5 is that it is kinda dirty but that might just be the scene. I did have a great time!

Epicure is fun, great place to see music. I liked my food, I had a wrap. They have things like burgers and veggie and vegan choices on the menu, some nice beers.

I think they have a nice ambiance with solid weekly events. Their Tuesday Trivia is usually a lot of fun. They lose a point because I think their menu options are a bit pricey. My wife and I have had many fun nights there though.

I feel like this would've been a place I loved in my early 20s... But in my mid-30s it was just okay. The rooftop was cute but rickety with just a view of the street, food and wine were good but nothing special, the service was polite but not really welcoming. It was a fine experience but we probably won't bother returning.

This place is a true treasure. A cafe/bar/music venue. The owner loves music here and the place is very welcoming for shows. You won't be trying to eat a gyro getting your ear drums blown out. You won't be listening to music wishing they served beers. You will be eating great food (with a LOT of dietary conscious options) with a music at a great volume.

Cozy place with nice and very helpful staff! My friend chose this Epicure for her birthday dinner and we had a great time there! Epicure was great in communication via email for reservations and once we were there they played all these songs from my friend’s favorite band!!!! The food was absolutely delicious. You have so many vegetarian options. They have art and poem nights and more....

Very good food. It's not common, there's a touch to the food that I haven't had anywhere else. You've got to try the pizza, the dough is so good, you won't leave the crusts unbeaten.

We go here for the music. One of the few establishments that have local artists regularly. The food is not great but passable. Food is not why this place is great. The last Sunday of the month there is local jazz there with musicians of various ages and instruments. All are good. It is curated by the spectacular Paul Pieper. Pay a visit to Epicure.

This is where all of the my chemical romance fans when to after theach faded. All jokes aside, this place has good food, decent beer selection, and music of a wide verity. Nothing main stream, but that might be a good thing for some folks. I wouldn't say this place is my taste, but I can give it a 4 stars for the targeted audience. Something to check out for sure!

Chill spot! We got a vegi pizza of some type that was okay, but nothing great. I'd never get it again. The loaded fries and mozerella sticks were good! Our waitress was nice and looked to make sure we were okay. It was super cold in there!!! It was cold outside but everyone inside had to wear at least a sweater still (even our waitress was wearing a heavy one). Don't go here often but have been here to watch open mic a couple times over the years.

Epicure Cafe is one of the best music venues in northern VA, especially for young artists. Every time I come, I find one or more exceptional artists. I'll often enjoy a pizza or another of their fine offerings, along with a glass of wine, and enjoy the music. I recommend the Epicure to anyone who enjoys dinner and a free show.

This is a very nice community hang sort of place with big bar, good food, excellent music. An oasis for arts, music, poetry and unconventionalism pretty far out in the plain vanilla 'burbs. Strong vibe, friendly staff. Despite being dinged for the prices in some reviews it seemed pretty reasonable for hand made thoughtful restaurant food, though it may be higher than art and music school students have in mind compared to ramen noodles or fast food. The menu is online. Worth a trip. Plenty of parking in back but the fight for spaces by the Indian grocery at the other end of the tiny front lot is pretty vicious.

I was there to see a friend's band. If I had been there for any other reason that night I would have left, the service was so slow. We waited 30 minutes to order drinks, another 20 to get them, another 30 for food to arrive and when it did it was wrong (we ordered 2 things--one came out wrong, the other never came out). What we did eat was quite good, which is why I'm allowing for two stars. Maybe I will go back on a slow Tuesday afternoon...

The food is great. The place looks old but the owner being there and cooking himself I will give them a 5 star. If you want to try good Middle Eastern food cooked differently than any other resturaunt you'll have plenty of dishes to try. Service is great and very friendly.
