The food was delicious, but we'd expect more attention to detail in this price range. The men's restroom was out of paper towels for more than two and a half hours while we enjoyed dinner and drinks. The women's restroom had a light out over one of the three stalls and the faucet in one of the two sinks didn't work. The mirrors and glass dividers need to be cleaned more often, as they have dirty fingerprint smudges that weren't cleaned between guests. We ran out of water and the waitress kept walking away without removing dirty dishes from the end of the table. We had to ask another waitress to find our waitress for more water. We asked to split the check, and she just brought it back to us the same way again. The peppercorn filet was juicy, seasoned well, and cooked perfectly. I'd also eat the asparagus and key lime pie again. In total, we had a nice time at this restaurant, but service needs to be improved.

Amazing atmosphere with a wood focused interior. Very modern. Fantastic happy hour deal and accommodates walk-ins with an open-seating area. Enjoyed a Moscow mule with the street chicken tacos and was thoroughly pleased. The servicing staff was patient and helpful with our large group of 11.

Louis Taylor

Descent happy hour money. Not too much of a discount. Service was very good. Drinks were cold and the food was good. I think the only thing that could have made it better is if the wait staff had been a bit more personable. That is a personal preference of mine however as I am sure there are others that would like to be left alone.

My wife has been here for lunch a few times during work. We went because I had the day off and I met her for lunch and she suggested we go there. It is a really nice place and I was surprised how good the food was. I had the street tacos appetizer which is four tacos and the same as the meal but without the French fries. To be honest I'd rather have the extra tacos than the fries. I would not expect to get such great tacos from this place but they were outstanding! They also have really good drink specials. My wife and I both had a $5 margarita and it was perfect.

My friend and I tried Earl's for Happy Hour. We had drinks and appetizers at the front bar. Neither of us typically drinks Rose but gave it a try because at the Happy Hour price it was too good a deal to pass up. We were both pleasantly surprised by how good it is. We also tried the Truffle Fries and Guac/Chips. Both were just as expected and tasty. While that might have gotten Earl's Kitchen + Bar a 4-star review, what pushed it up to 5 stars was the service we were given by the bartender who was absolutely amazing. His name is pronounced Heow (like meow but with an H and I'm not sure how to spell it). He has a great personality, was extremely attentive not just to us but to everyone as far as I could tell and took care of each person with a smile. Wow!! He made our happy hour that much nicer because we felt he was genuinely concerned that we enjoyed our evening out. If I was a restauranteur this is the type of person I would be very pleased to have work with me.

Good place for an event. The atmosphere was buzzing. The staff was very accommodating

Kelii Perkins

Was here for our office party! Great staff and servers. Very accommodating for our party of 20! Drinks were a bit slow but the place was packed so it was understandable! Around 11 a DJ started and was playing absolute bangers! We all had a great time! I will be back!

Ron Woody

Great place for lunch. Parking challenged, but plan ahead and park at Tyson's Center.

TLDR; Good Happy Hour Spot, Reservations are highly suggested during their busy hours (3pm-5pm- 5pm-8pm), food is decent, good fries, service/wait staff is a hit or miss. From going away happy hours, to casual dinners with friends, to corporate events, Earl's can accommodate all. This is a great spot if you are just waiting for a friend or just trying to kill time before heading into traffic on 495. If you plan on eating dinner or partaking in their happy hour, I highly suggest making a reservation! This place is quite popular in the Tyson's area so it does become quite crowded around these hours (3pm-5pm- 5pm-8pm). A couple of my favorite foods that Earl's offers are their Truffle Fries, the Bigger Better Burger, and their Clam Chowder! Their Truffle Fries are cut into really thin shoe string line size and fried to perfection! They are delightfully crunchy and crispy. I love fries.. if you couldn't tell... The service here is always a hit or miss for me because they are always so busy. My experience with the wait staff isn't all bad, a lot of them are really nice and considerate. I had come in with a group of friends but we weren't all that hungry! So my boyfriend and I decided to share a burger and fries. The waitress asked us if we were sharing and we said yes and didn't think anything of it. To our delight, she had the kitchen split our burgers in half and put on individual plates with a full plate of fries for each! Due to the times that we have had good service and good food, I do plan on coming back during happy hour and occasional dinners!

Rick Romano

Conveniently located a minutes walk from Metro and Tysons corner mall. Food was solid tacos and burger fare.

Robert Pemberton

The AC was out and yet everyone stuck around to suffer for drinks. That says a lot

Michael H.

Amazing sushi and appetizers. Perfect place for a team lunch!

Tami Stockton

Long wait for food. Did apologize and offer complimentary bread but that didn't come out til 15 minutes later with our food. Food was okay. Sodas were flat.

On Saturday night, we went in to try to get a table here. While we were waiting for our table, I decided to get a drink from the bartender on the smaller bar on the left side of the restaurant. While getting a drink, the host told us the table was ready, being a courteous customer, I decided to close the bar tab with the bartender so I can tip him. My card had been declined, keep in mind I had just bought a new car that day. I tried to tell the bartender the situation while being on hold with my bank to fix the issue. The bartender was being extremely rude to me in front of his other customers and another bartender next to him, then I suggested him to transfer it to my table until I can fix the issue, again he gives me an attitude like it was too difficult to do that. Meanwhile my girlfriend is sitting at the table alone for 30+ minutes until I can fix the issue because he would not transfer the bill to the table. Not once did he apologize or be understanding, Earls has lost a customer (A frequent happy hour customer). Very disappointing and embarrassing.

Andrew Toland

Food was okay. Tasted great but some was cold when it got to the table. I will need to go again to see if it gets better.

Went here one night with my boyfriend for our first time everything was great so we decided to come back a couple days later. Soon as we got in we both had to use the bathroom and seen the family room. I was dancing with my boyfriend because I was playing and having fun we were very intoxicated at this point so that’s why we wanted to get some good food in our systems, next thing you know a staff member busted in. The same staff member seated us at a table and shortly after we watched her tell a manager about the incident. Couple minutes later a server we had seen our first time here recognized us and got us started. I placed a order for the wings and fries as a appetizer right away. We sat there and had no choice but to listen in on earls restaurant drama as a server was getting cracked down on by the manager I seen the first night we came. My boyfriend started to get really sick and eventually couldn’t hold his liquor. We went to the bathroom so he could let it out and shortly after the host came and banged on the door super hard. When I opened it she wasn’t there anymore but shortly after came out the lady’s bathroom. At this point I felt we should leave but we went back to the table where I left my phone and the food was out. I asked the server when I seen him for some boxes; he noticed my boyfriend in dismay and offered a Red Bull. I declined shortly after the manager (John) comes and haves a seat at our table. Shocked by his actions I slightly overfilled my glass with water. He started by saying what’s going on guys I mean it was clear why he was there but his timing couldn’t have been worst my boyfriend couldn’t really even pick his head up off the table. I told him immediately that I felt his introduction was inappropriate and unprofessional. He then told me that I was being unprofessional as if I was one of his staff or that’s something you should say to any guests. I asked for the check and it was as if he still wanted to go back and forth with me he didn’t budge. I asked if he was the GM and he said no so I asked to speak with him instead. He came to the table without the check on Johns side without a doubt speaking to me in a condescending matter. I had to ask the server to bring the check. At this point my boyfriend still hasn’t even raised his head and yet neither manager asked if he was okay of if there was anything they could do for this man that was clearly sick. After realizing that we were going to be treated like scum and not even one fake apology I tell the manager the check should be on him. He said that that made no sense and at that point I was fed up so I told him I wasn’t paying and that’s it he told me to leave the food. When he realized I wasn’t going to he said fine just never come back your not welcome here. Over heard him telling the server perception is reality and the managers should practice what they preach.

Bryon Holdt

Decent food, nothing I was wowed about but not bad in anyway. Decent clean and comfortable environment. A little clubby with music a touch louder than I think is nessary. We sat outside so that conversations would be easier.

Harleen Kaur

Spicy chicken sandwich was really crispy and flavorful with truffle fries, kung pao chicken is amazing as well.

Craig Saperstein

Food was good. Service was horrible

John White

Great place with high quality food and service

Marc H

Good food, and the wait staff is attentive.

Brandon Jang

Great drinks and food! Went for Happy Hour

Jeremy Corey

The service, food and ambience exceeded expectations. The ahi tuna poke bowl was fantastic. Not too loud sitting at a high top near bar side and well lit

Mukesh Bhakta

Brunch Sunday 9 people. No lines at 11:00AM. 1/2 price lunch menu until 12Noon. Great atmosphere. Food looked better than taste. Service average. A little on the blander side. Overall had a nice time. I have not been here for dinner.

Edgar Callwood

My family took my here for Father's Day everything we ordered was fantastic and our waitres was the best, very attentive. If you come ask for Grace as your server.

ampreet sandhu

Decent food, but horrible service.

Jairo castro

Best happy hour in Tyson’s! Thanks @dcjunglebook

Yealshaday Birhanu

First time going there! I got a salmon bowl. I really liked it but it was a little salty (coming from someone who puts a lot of salt on her food, I would recommend to tell them to go light on the salt if you’re not a salt person). The drinks I’ve tried(Classic Moscow mule and mango mojito), were reaaaaaallllly good...They’re a must try. Annnnd I shouldn’t even describe the dessert right? I mean look at it! I was full to my head but I couldn’t resist this goodness. Sharing is recommended (2 of us couldn’t finish it). Let me not forget about the service. It was THE BEST. I’m pretty indecisive with my food because I want to try everything but he helped us pick eeeeeverything on the table. No regrets... he did a great job recommending foods/drinks that matched our taste. Thank you! The place is beautiful too. I wish I took more pictures but I was too hungry when I walked in and too full when I left

Moose Repole

The meal here was wonderful. Our waitress was perfection and she was quickly able to accommodate my vegan needs and even replaced a salad that accidentally had cheese on top. All the food was fresh and tasted high quality. The wait system was convenient and we got a text when our table was prepared. It was clearly very busy when we arrived but service was still prompt. I no longer live in the area but I look forward to my next visit when I'm in town!

Casandra Montemayor

Nice restaurant. Chic, trendy. Service started out good but quickly went downhill from there. Our server was preoccupied with other things and I think he kept forgetting about us. I ordered the kale chicken salad and it was very good. Had good flavor and a good portion. We also ordered the Italian bread and that came out warm. It was good. Looks like a good place to go for happy hour. Lots of tvs and big bar area. I would recommend and would go back but I hope next time I get better service. And hopefully the restrooms get more attention.

Vsevolod Yatsevich

Quality food. Plenty of choices. Good place for a happy hour.

Adeel Khalid Choudhary

Nice food and great ambience will recommend for a peaceful evening

FHL

No AC until Monday! The place was so hot!!

Jake Huang

Cool upscale place, decent food. It's a good place to hang out after work with friends or coworkers, especially if you work near Tysons. I'm not sure about their happy hour deals.

paul cruzana

A must try! Their appetizers and strak are worth everything

Gregory Mitchel

Steak and potatoes were super delicious! Great happy hour. The ladies working here are very attractive also which is always a plus.

Sean Crook

One of the go to watering holes in Tysons for working professionals. Happy hour specials are notable so make it there before 7. Happy hour food isn't that great (there is much better sushi elsewhere). Order from the regular menu for actually good, but not memorable, meals.

Tyler Ott

Staff is extremely nice and personable. Old fashioned is high quality. Good vibes for sure

Hans I

Always a delight when I go. Food is fantastic, prices are good, and it's a more upscale experience while remaining casual and welcoming.

Mel M

Good vibe .. though limited happy hour options.

T Haw

Earl's has a progressive menu and hip decor. At times, I have had excellent service and an overall great dining experience. However, on a couple of visits including a Sunday afternoon, the service has been below even basic standards. Amazingly, even after pointing this out to the manager the service remained sub-par for some time. The servers and managers appear to be non-apologetic even uncaring and indifferent. This is no way to run a restaurant or approach customer service in any industry, especially one that is in a competitive industry. I sincerely hope that management is able to correct these problems so if I happen to return someday it will be a pleasant surprise. For now I suggest you try Eddie Vs or Barrel and Bushel which I have visited and have always received good and adequate service. Earl's is just hit or miss, and if you miss you will be disappointed.

Sarah Tozer

Enjoyed my office happy hour here. The food was good, the staff was very friendly and the service was quick. It was a crowded place but not too loud. Parking is available for a cost

Kieran Hayes

Service was GREAT! Savannah helped me pick a beer I liked, offered a taster and made suggestions. Attentive and friendly, and the apps were tasty too.

Sunil Vishwanath

We tried the impossible burger and chicken taco. They have a decent happy hour menu with drinks. Ambiance is lively and soothing. Our waiter seemed to be in a hurry, picked up plates/utensils and napkins before we could finish our meal.

Jonathan Tubach

TLDR: Okay food, terrible service. I have been several times, the food is just good, but it depends what you get. I usually get the same thing and there has been considerable variation in the quality each time. While the food and drinks are overall adequate, the two star review comes from the service. Their target demographic is clearly a more youthful crowd, but they also want to have an upscale and slightly hipster vibe. They pull it off and I like it, but they appear to also hire based on their aesthetic. The result of that is a bunch of kids in their early 20s with more desire to part of the environment rather than provide a service. The management also appears fairly young and seems to fill the role of friend more often than leader, which is what allows the poor service, to be the most consistent part of the the entire restaurant.

Jason Constantine

Fun environment and fairly casual. The food was a little over-priced, but the happy hour is good value (and gets crowded). Overall a nice place to get a drink and dinner close to the mall.

Mubashir Ahmed

eh decent food, okay service. parking is a pain

Haris Pirzada

The food is always great here and they use fresh, seasonal ingredients. The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly. The service is amazing, they are very accommodating of special requests. My only complaint is the ambiance. I normally go for dinner and it is just too dark there for some reason.

Donna Preller

Great food! Great service! Happy to discover it.But had to pay for parking needs to be clear on website where to park since it's on a private building and server said they cannot validate parking. Other than that we had a great time!

Dan Beliveau

Food is good. It's just not cheap.

Zonara Choudhry

Definitely a "go to". Decent priced food and drinks. Food is always delicious and the atmosphere is great. Love the look of this place and it's in the heart of tysons so that's a plus. Just be aware if its packed you might have to wait a little.

Alexandria Cooper

The food was ok. For the price I was expecting it to taste way better. Wouldn't exactly say you get your moneys worth. But the decoration was nice :)

Randa Nasr

Had a birthday party there and it was nice and convenient. The staff are friendly

Amy Neal Long

Exceptional service, good food, surprisingly reasonable prices

Brandon

Arrived for a HH event, although they did not have 1800 the waitress recommended a drink that surved its purpose. Definitely recommend stopping by. Did not get any food however, the party I was with enjoyed their meals.

Sam Yergin

Variety of options, and food is above average for the area. However, service leaves a lot to be desired.

Reza Sadeghian

Great drink, tasty spicy Korean wings, good music and lovely crowd.

Devesh Bhakta

Sat at the bar on a Monday night, not to busy service and food was great.

Tristan Cabalar

It’s a great scene but never get any service promptly here. Either the Bartenders are busy or you just don’t get the attention at all. It’ll take a good 30mins to get your order.

Bonnie Heineman Wolfe

Great food and atmosphere. Several nice salad choices which I like.

Nashat Nadri

It was amazing food and atmosphere. What makes it even great is the waters. Danielle served our table and non stop demand in a perfect way. She is an additional reason to come again to this great place.

S Tuck

I went to this place on Saturday at 1pm with 2 friends. Our server was terrible. Hands all over the straws and talking all over the drinks. She was nice but lacked training. The food took super long to come and we only ordered brunch food. I got steak & eggs. Everything on my plate was cold. They didn’t even melt the cheese in my eggs (they said it was deconstructed...but that is not what I asked for). My steak (the little tiny pieces they give you) was cold as ice. The potatoes and fries were good. The decor of the place was nice inside. Overall, not impressed.

Limnyuy Konglim

High energy ambience, excellent cocktails, and good food. Great for groups. The restrooms need attention throughout the night. They were very dirty.

Sri Pabbathi

Went here for happy hour but found out we were a bit late for it. Crowded but we found a table at the bar...a lively crowd and helpful wait staff. Cocktails were pretty good but the IPAs tasted ordinary.

Gerald Brown

Great food. Interesting choices from sushi to burgers. Good drinks. Friendly, speedy service. Ask for Alex. She’s the best!

Dave N

I'm struggling to understand the stellar reviews of Earl's Bar. It's not bad, honestly, but it's also nothing special. I'm sorry Earl... I tried to love it here, but I'm disenchanted. Staff was friendly and service was quick, but I think the only thing that really differentiates Earl's is the location and views. The Korean bibimbap was okay and my friends liked their sushi, but 20 mins away are places that serve perfect examples of each dish. I just don't think the talent is a good enough draw for this place... At least not for lunch. After-hours might be better?

Amir

Good quality salads. Very cozy.

cueva93

Went here for Saturday Brunch. My friend and I ordered some Sushi and traditional brunch items. They had an offer where you could also get a whole bottle of champagne with the order so I was pleasantly surprised. Incredibly friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the food was delicious. I'd very much recommend this place as the menu had a lot of diversity. Anyone could find something they'd like here.

Lisa Yi

We had a small family reception here. The hostesses were very sweet and accommodating over the phone and in person. The wait staff are all very attentive and will always get answers for your questions regarding food and beverages. My husband loves pasta and beer, he also enjoyed the menu offered. However, be aware that they do serve seasonal dishes so the menu changes from time to time.

Mike Maxfield

Upscale, interesting menu, vegan/vegetarian options. Nice location off Tyson's Plaza.

A. Thomas Grunley

I thought that Earls Kitchen and Bar was good at best and somewhat overrated based on everything I had heard about this restaurant and bar in the past. There were some good dishes and the menu was generally pretty generic. Excellent service and ambience up the wazoo. I would say that Earls Kitchen is worth the trip - even if only once.

Wesley McCarville

This is a nice trendy spot. Private parties are welcome and the opening to the commons is really a nice treat. Staff was professional, friendly, and attentive. I gave 4 stars not because of a deficiency but that I did not get the chance to sample the food only the drinks. Well done!

Elisa Bautista

This was outside of Earls Kitchen + Bar. I had such a great time there! I ate sushi and drank bottomless mimosas for brunch at an event we held there. I will definitely be a returning client.

Randi Majors

Delicious, fresh food and great atmosphere. Service is a bit slow and prices high.

Maziar Momeni

Great atmosphere. Good food, could use bigger portions. We held a big event here and the crew was extremely helpful, professional and attentive. The food was good and timely. Definitely want to go back for a sit down dinner experience next.

Julia Adams

Sky a great server. Delicious brunch and a great deal!

Mel Gorman

Fabulous food and service!

Ollie Serre

Loved the ambiance and vibe! Staff are very friendly and the food is very good. A definite must visit when you're in the area!

E. A. Wooten

Great upscale bar atmosphere and good food to match. Seating can be a little difficult so if you have a large party try calling ahead to make sure they have availability. The bacon burger is delicious and they serve some of the best local DC beers too so try both.

Roosevelt Taylor

Such a great atmosphere, food, and people!

FNU F

We went for a Sunday brunch on a beautiful day. We got outside seating with beautiful plants around us. Food selection was great and our orders were delicious too. Staff was very attentive and efficient.

Jonathan Torres

Good food. Pricy and always packed. Can be a good thing, depending on your mood.

Daniel Nicolas

Great meal! Truly a hidden gem for an affordable DC area brunch! Ample/free parking as there is a mall nearby. Very convenient location. The food was excellent!

John Massey

My server Caitlin, with a C, was the best! The food was awesome. Earl's is hands down THE BEST place for food, fun, and drinks in Tysons, VA.

Raquel Hernandez

Went on a Thursday night and the place was crowded. We waited for our table, we waited a LOT for our food. 4 out of 5 entrees had to be returned because they were ice cold, our cajun chicken was undercooked (yes... undercooked chichen). On the "good" side, our waitress was very nice, and the manager took care of the disaster dinner we had. Wouldn't go there to eat again, maybe just to have drinks because that's what it is, a bar. I just can't understand how they had so many tables with people having actual dinner, guess that's the power of a good location and a nice looking place. My brother in law goes almost every weekend, he loves the place! Maybe we just had bad luck.

alex hill

My first time here and I was impressed by the service, and the food. My wife was having a co worker get together and I was able to tag along. There was a mix up with the reservation but the nice ladies at check in were able to make something happen. This can’t happen every time, but this time was a life saver. The food was really good and the servers ( Rollo) were attentive and professional. Would definitely come here again. Two thumbs up.

Kianah Bryant

My boyfriend and I visited Earl’s during a weekend in Tyson. It was close to our hotel which made it convenient. The decor was nice, there was a bar and some nice random seating for guest whom were just lounging or waiting to be seated at a table. I ordered a Caesar salad and added blackened chicken to it which was delicious. The chicken was moist and had a few crunchy pieces from being cooked. My boyfriend had a salmon bowl which he loved, which is saying a lot because he is very picky. Our waiter was nice and shared in some small talk and the food came out pretty fast. If you are looking for a quiet location this may not be it, because they do play music and accommodate large parties but the food was delicious and customer service was great. I will return.

Mika Williams

Great happy hour and monthly specials for drinks. Great atmosphere, very trendy and popular place, food is really good too.

Johnleia Lambert

Earls Kitchen + Bar is a must if you’re in Tyson’s Corner. The restaurant is spacious with many seating options. The food menu is diverse with something for everyone. The service was quick but it took awhile to get the check.

samuel lyght

Brunch was awesome, prices was unmatched for the food Quality. Even the server was pleasant and really courteous. Food was also tasty. The chicken and waffles was best I ever had.

jackie lasky

I've only gone here for brunch, but I love it! We come for the brunch happy hour and these are cheapest mimosas ($4) we've found in a nice restaurant in the area so far. The $9 entrees are also great too! The brunch potatoes are crunchy and delicious! The staff are always friendly and helpful. The location is great too, and is so perfect on a sunny day since they have some comfortable outside seating.

Arik D. Brown

Very nice hangout spot. The food is delicious. Open until 1am which is great when you need a late bite to eat.

Andrew Fertig

Had an enormous beer on happy hour for cheap. They seem to have other great happy hour deals on wine and small plates. Haven't eaten here, but the menu looks great. Love the decor and the way the place is set up.

Robert Montagne

Ambiance is nice, food is decent

Tom Reger

The truffle fries were really good. I also had a rib eye blackened that was cooked correctly and had a good flavor. Our waiter, Jay, was super friendly and attentive.

erik grier

Earls is a nice atmosphere but the service is always, always lacking. I’ve been a dozen times and it’s super consistent. There’s certainly a different take on customer service here. Their phone number is a black hole and no one ever answers but that kind of just sums up how the place is ran. Good food and drinks- could be a great place if they ran it right.

D Mason

great place to eat and have a happy hour. great service and food

A

Deisha, LeAnn, and Dahwit are the greatest servers in this establishment. They’re all very kind and approachable. Request them during your visit here. The whole establishment as a whole is a great environment and the atmosphere is amazing. (I sincerely apologize if I misspelled your names btw, but y’all the GOAT) :D

C. S.

Staff was very exilerating and super helpful. Food was insanely good, try the queso appetizer for sure. The dessert was fantastic, I got the gold digger ice cream and my date got the key lime pie, I think she cried it was so good.

Zia Ahmadzada

The food was not only horrible it also gave me a really bad stomach upset for next 48 hours. Never going there again.

Devon Williams

I had a burger, which was very good, but my family and friends had the steak and tacos and said it was just ok. The atmosphere was nice, but very busy. The reason I dinged them was the bathroom was a mess. I called it to their attention 2 times (1 hour apart) while I was there and they blamed it the fact that they only had 1 female host and she's the only one allowed to clean the bathroom. Yes I get that, but your telling me that in this mid-high level restaurant you don't have a bathroom attendant that comes through regularly during the day to and pickup and clean the bathroom!? I struggle going to restaurants where the bathrooms are consistently a mess, because that normally means the kitchen is a mess a well.

Joel J

Wow... sat at the bar for a cocktail and appetizer.. bar tender was great! Huge selection of bourbon and scotch.. relaxed, friendly environment. I'm going back tonight!

Henry Hargrove

Came for Sunday brunch walk-in and it started filling up quickly after noon. Price was not unreasonable, coffee good, and the dishes we saw rolling out looked delicious. Our meal not the greatest and our waitress was a little scatter brained but the booth was comfy and atmosphere chic. All the wait staff were professional and upscale. This place might be hit or miss on food quality because it was fantastic previously. We had the steak and eggs but honestly the burger platters looked way more delicious.

Vilas Wright

Great food, great atmosphere.

Don Mohsin S

Phenomenal staff. Fantastic food. Had to wait a little bit even though I had a reservation, but other than that. Top notch experience. Food was delicious!

Jeff Ngo

Been here multiple times. Great food. A bit on the pricier side since all the ingredients are organic. Place is big and comfy. Service can be slow.

Deanna Given

Awesome bloody mary and brunch!

Amna Shaikh

The food is good. I’ve tried the burgers and steak. It’s pretty loud so if you’re looking to have a conversation it can be tough. Service is alright.

Jacques Grillot

Always excellent service and food. Had a vegetarian in our party and they were happy. Great wine selection as well.

Neel Patel

pretty good drinks, gets packed at happy hour times

Moorecia Moore

It's a very pretty restaurant I love some of the decor. The servers are very knowledgeable and helpful and the food tastes amazing !

Curtis Barlow

Waitress was excellent

Trevvor Stewart

I’m surprised to be writing this review as it is about other diners and not myself. The two gentleman hosts were very vocal in their distaste for a table of ten that were dining. They were saying very disgusting curse words and seemed not to care about the people waiting to be sat. The dining experience was fantastic other than their terrible words about their customers.

Ephesia Sutton

The food and atmosphere were amazing. If you from down south I don't recommend the sweet tea. It's not what we use to.

Erika Jones

THEE SMALLEST CHICKEN WINGS!! I ordered via Door Dash. The wings were cold AND so small that the Parmesan dip cup provided was wider that the length of the wing. MAYBE they meant Pigeon wings??? I ate the entire 10 piece (which I can NEVER do). Terrible!!! Dont get the wings!

Arpan Shah

Very nice location and ambience in Tyson's corner. They have good plant based vegetarian options. The green roll veg sushi was very good. The serving staff is also very nice. Cocktails were nice but as the bar got very busy, it started taking a very long time and the quality was not the best. Seating for large parties can be a bit difficult as they don't rearrange the tables to make it comfortable. We were 10 and we're planned on the tables but not convenient for group conversation. Overall a very nice and enjoyable dinner place.

Toreba Tama!

One of the best restaurants in the D.C. Metropolitan area. Great staff, clean building, and excellent food. An overall fancy yet casual and well-kept place. Whether you're carnivorous or vegan, there are many choices to pick from and many different styles and tastes to try out.

Vivian Yip

Happy hour menu is good value, especially on weekends. Very friendly people and the service was good. I would say the $2.50 bread should not be drenched in olive oil though. A person might prefer to dip it themselves, though. (The bread tasted great; it's the kind one might hope to get for free, but at $2.50 it's okay) The crispy chicken sandwich tasted good though I would also say that more napkins would be appreciated. Clam chowder was safe. I would go again, but only for happy hour cost.

My favorite steak spot! They serve creekstone beef.

Josh Poland

Amazing food. I loved the blackened chicken I got; it came with an excellent portion of great sides and was perfectly cooked. It has a variety of happy hour specials as well. It does get very busy and very loud, so staff can get overwhelmed and you might not be able to get a table. But it's worth it if you can.

Watered down drinks, not organized to handle the volume. Foods were horrible. Stay away from the sushi dishes. Overpriced

I live in the area (Arlington/Clarendon) and come to Earl’s often b/c it is fun and lively. I wanted to write a review because - after several disappointing trips - although I am a “local”, I thought it might be helpful for visitors to have a review from someone who knows this establishment and the local businesses/restaurants/bars. Earl’s is nice, fun and has decent food and drink, but please keep in mind - service is the LAST thing they care about. In fact, it is overtly obvious they don’t care at all about their staff, and as an extension, their customers outside of whatever formula they use to serve as many people as possible. As a frequent business traveler, often international, this isn’t uncommon, but Tysons - in fact Arlington - is not...say...Orlando. If you are visiting, this kind of assembly line, no one recognizes you as a person, kind of service, need not be tolerated. Take the Metro away from this and experience great, local service and fare. The employees and managers at Earl’s couldn’t care less about you.

Darrell Kraft

Really nice place. Lively bar like atmosphere. Good drinks and great appetizers.

Bad....got sick and will never go back again.

Went there twice when I lived in The Vita apartments and the staff was not welcoming, which is sad because this place is too nice to be dishing out less than excellent service. In my opinion, there are better less "stuffy" places to go where you'll have a better overall experience. The food looked good.

Logan Spear

The happy hour prices are pretty good, and the food is pretty decent.

Great place Yumm food Staff was friendly

I came with a group after a work Holiday Party (think ugly sweaters) and felt very under-dressed. This is a nice place, I'm honestly a little surprised we weren't turned away for not fitting the dress code - but I am glad we weren't! Everyone had an excellent time. Great food and great drinks.

Manuel Cruz

What's good? The happy hour times and price, the happy hour and dinner menu, especially the dynamite rolls and the truffle fries, the drinks, and the appealing staff. I used to be a big fan of this place **BUT** the service has gone down drastically. We have had complains the last 5 times we have been there. Mostly it was the wait time to get our order, waiting for water refill, food not how we ordered it, or some items not available. Again, the biggest complain for us has been the service wait time.

Quick bar bites and good bartender! This time was much better... reminds me of Hooters

9/23/2019 1 photo I'll never revisit this restaurant again. The first time was for happy hour and it was so-so. Judging a restaurant from a happy hour experience isn't something I do! However, this last experience left NOTHING to be desired. I felt as though the host really insulted my intelligence and tried to further aggravate me. My girlfriend and I watched the patio seats stay empty for 20 min and instead of going to the other restaurants we decided on Earls. The menu is pretty diverse so why not??? I was feeling down and usually dining with my friends makes me feel better. We go inside and asked the host for outside seating. She said that there wasn't any outside seating. The wait was 45-50 minutes. Mind you after going outside I saw there were plenty of seating even couches by the fire pits. I asked her why I can't I sit here? She said this isn't considered outside. I'm like what? After, my friend and I just decided to stay the host comes back to the table. Gives me dirty silver and linen and says " You really wanted to sit here didn't you?" Really? Did she decide to provoke me? At this point. I'm ready to go. Normally, I don't call the manager but this chick really made me uncomfortable. Who behaves this way as the face of the restaurant? My server Leticia or Talia brown skin with medium hair was the best and very attentive. The manager really tried to rectify the situation but it still doesn't justify the level of humiliation, intimidation, and disrespect. Await at an empty restaurant? He said she doesn't know how to talk to people or something like that. I know it wasn't the best choice of words but that indicates that they are aware of her nasty behavior. Anyway, the food was definitely disgusting. The highlight was the Sushi dish the manager suggested. Please save your money and time. The server and manager were very nice and really tried but Nah!

Great ribs!!! I'll definitely be back!

Had dinner here a few weeks ago for a friend’s birthday. It was really busy even though it was a cold rainy night. Keep in mind, google maps doesn’t do a great job getting you close to where the actual restaurant is, so make sure to get as close to Victoria’s Secret parking in the mall as possible as you’ll go outside the door near VC and cross the mezzanine to get there.

Stephen Motew

Service good at bar, not great given wasn’t busy. Burger was at best mediocre....flat previously frozen patty over cooked. Drink was overpriced. Not going to rush to return.

Lori Reed

Seriously expensive. Dressed up plates just to pretend it's amazing food and worth the price? No thanks! Pretentious and rude people. Food is not good.

Web Guru

Food is pretty good, noise level is very high, but don't order drinks. They carefully measure 1.5 oz and cost about $12. I think its more like 1 oz. That's not a real bar nor real bartenders, that is a mall bar. A whisky on the rocks was gone in two small sips.

Overall the restaurant is very nice and clean. All of the dishes at my table looked delicious and confirmed good by all at my table. The ribs and chicken dish that I had was very good. The boneless chicken breast was juicy, which most places will overcook and make it dry. I would recommend.

Ihtsham Akram

For a really busy place service was fantastic. Food was definitely tasty, will be returning very soon!

Laura Pulliam

Charlie was amazing, he is perfect server!

Duragon Darko

Great hang! Bars are accessible and in many corners. The lounge area is hopping with people. Outside dining is available and clean! Inside dining is fresh and new. Food is delicious! Came here with a party of 9, everyone has something different and I tried it all. DELICIOUS! The only reason for the 4 and not the 5, it is on the pricy side. Really pricy. I'm from Jersey and go into Manhattan, NYC and Jersey City Rooftops and all are comparable or better then Earl's but are lower in price or larger proportions. I know VA doesn't have alot like this, but that doesn't give you a reason to hike up that price. 6oz filet with a lobster tail here was $52, Manhattan would be $45, Jersey City/Hoboken/West NY are in the $42 range. It is a great place in VA though. If you're out in Virginia, it's a must see even if it's only once. Thanks!

Bar is nice food is just typical bar food

This place is neat. Always packed and usually has a wait. The staff is pretty quick, to the point they seem too busy to help you.Cocktails are good here.

Antonella Miller

Great cocktails for happy hour and good pricing. I really enjoy coming to happy hour to this place, employees are very attentive too.

This is the fourth or fifth time we have driven approximately an hour to eat at Earl’s We find the food to be excellent. We are vegans and we have brought other vegan couples here three times. We were a little disappointed that our waiter was really confused about what vegan meant at a restaurant such as Earl’s Kitchen since he appeared to be on his own and this establishment has a large vegan menu. For example, when our friend who was eating here for the first time ordered one of the bowls off of the plant-based menu, the waiter offered him a protein choice “chicken or beef” Even though we had just told him that all four of us were vegan. My friend inquired if the chicken was a vegan chicken and the waiter looked a little confused. I could see how this would be a real issue if this was our first time eating here. I suggested the tofu. Then when my husband and I ordered the Veggie Burger I suddenly realized that it was important that we tell him we wanted the vegan version, and indeed he seemed surprised by this. When I told him that I wanted salad as opposed to french fries he asked me if I wanted a Caesar salad. I kindly explained to him that the Caesar salad was not vegan and that I needed a vegan salad with vegan dressing. I was given a salad with feta cheese on it. I do not blame this waiter at all because he should have been trained before he was ever allowed to wait tables in 2019 at a restaurant in the DC area, EXACTLY what vegan means and the significance of it. I want you to know that we will be back and that we appreciate the very many options you offer us. However it would be a real shame if someone assumed this young man knew what he was talking about when he offered chicken after they explicitly said they were vegan and they got an actual animal. I can’t believe he is the only waiter at your establishment that is untrained in this matter. We will be back soon!! Thanks.

Tiffany Gourdin

Expect a 50/50 chance at great service. Younger servers need more training. I have been here a number of times. During a brunch visit, the server told me there was no brunch happy hour. I had to show it to her on my phone. Then, she brought me the brunch happy hour menu. During my dinner visit, the server was unknowledgeable about charges on our bill, came to our table 3x without refilling either water carafe, and passed the credit cards back to us based on the bank name (i.e. Mrs. Lynch for a Merrill Lynch card.)

Alina Karaman

Always have great time here, great food!

Reema Malek

Food is decent, drinks are bomb. Staff is super friendly and the lighting makes for fire selfie lol We always some here no better place to chill at in the mall

Monica Leon

Great food, but tricky to find location and parking via direction apps.

Veronica Grace Hylak

Honestly I have come here over a period of several months and without fail they are always out of their drinks and it gets so overwhelming. Not worth trying again

Lucy Downey

Here for brunch. Reasonable priced for a place near the mall, free WiFi, and good drink specials.

Robert

The food is good, the beer selection is great. They do growler fills as well as large cans for almost all the beers on the menu. Liquor selection is good as well. Both the beer and liquor focus on local while including notables from outside the area. It warm weather the outdoor seating is great, and when the weather is bad you can actually get to the restaurant front Tyson's Corner Center via the Hyatt Lobby without ever having to go outside.

M J

Good drinks and happy hour food!

Sue S

Good food with some vegan items. Upbeat and lively atmosphere.

Daniel K Tablah Jr.

Fantastic place for a great evening

Delmar Christian

Very trendy restaurant with great food and an awesome variety. But what I loved most is that this place offers happy hour on the weekend which is a rarity in these parts. Kudos for the affordability!

Zayna Fayyad

Food is delicious and drinks are amazing. But it gets really loud in the restaurant, it’s not somewhere to go catch up with friends, because it’s really hard to hear eachother even when you’re sitting right next to eachother.

Hattie B Wise

I love this restaurant so much. The food is smashing, the atmosphere is stylish and smart. I get a little more dressed up when I come here.

Vince W

Stopped by for dinner before a movie last night with a friend. We were greeted at the door by several friendly staff members and after a quick wait we were seated and told about the happy hour specials. The food and drinks were really good and we could see why there was so many people for a Thursday night. Even though it was busy our food and drinks never took too long. Understandably so our waiter was busy with a handful of other tables but several other staff members were attentive and helpful and cleared our table and put in more food and drink orders for us. Overall a wonderful experience and will be back again
