I’d been meaning to try this place out since I live in the area. After given my first beer the bartender did absolutely anything else than to ask if I wanted another. I waited 10+ minutes .. the other bartender noticed but I wasn’t her problem. I finally waived her down for the check. He comes back and says the people across from me want to buy me a drink. I was so upset I declined and left. Needless to say never going back

Good Food, no frills food. A solid "neighborhood style" Bar & Grill with a Steakhouse focus. My steak was cooked properly and the staff is friendly.

Not a family place and Ryan the bartender is rude and disrespectful he over charges on drinks and lies. Was treated very bad there just tonight. Wouldn't even serve me wings to go , and made it a point to let the bar know. I never did anything wrong in this bar and have been treated like a criminal. This treatment is uncalled for.

Great bar, excellent and personable staff. Bar tenders are proficient and accommodating. The menu and food is well above average for a bar environment. Clientele is typically friendly. It can be a bit noisy at times, but mostly due to laughter. Good neighborly-oriented bar and grille.

Had a Groupon so had to try it out. Hadn't been to this Durango location before so it was a new experience. It's a little bit of a biker bar, but the ambiance was ok. I had a grilled steak salad. Steak was cooked to order with extra Bleu cheese as requested. It was good, not great. Even after 7 PM on a Friday night domestic drafts we're still $3. All in all, a decent experience.

I was given a $25 gift card for Durango Grill, which I had never heard of before. Last Friday night, I took my friend and went there to check it out. There were a lot of young people outside at the tables. (We were the token old people!) My friend just had her knee replaced a few weeks ago. A really nice patron helped her up the high curb while I parked the car. Once inside, our waitress (and I wish I could remember her name--she was awesome!) came over right away and took our order. The food came out nice and hot, and it was delicious. We both ordered chicken Quesadillas, and we shared three appetizers. (I highly recommend the fried mushrooms!) I had a beer and my friend had a mixed drink. When it was all said and done, because I had that gift card, I owed the waitress $1.99 plus tip of course. We couldn't have been more pleased with the experience of eating there. Everyone was friendly (even the patrons), the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. If you go there, enjoy! You won't be sorry!

Other times not so much...like a hit or miss..weekend nights the crowd is a little scary..i always give Reasturants a couple shots at serving, to give a fair rating. In those 3 visits hoping to get that . knock it out the park, serving...cant go that far here..sorry. Portions and service to other then bar attendance would make a huge difference im sure

Most of the food was good. One person's steak was cooked MW instead of MR, the steak fries were a bit overcooked, and it took an exceedingly long time for the food to come out. However, the serving staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was worth giving the place another try when we're next in the area. The chili, in particular, was really good. I had it on the 4-ounce burger, and my husband has it on its own. Meaty, flavorful, and not spicy. The rest of our party enjoyed their entrees and sides, too. It would be great if they close the inner door to the entrance/exit to keep the smoke from patrons out

Called and they don't have one Vegan option. Pretty disappointing when Beyond Burger and Impossible Burger are so easy to order now. Even BURGER KING has a Vegan burger. Edit: Changing this review to 5 stars based on the lightning fast response from the owner on bringing this option to the menu. I applaud you on both the speed of response and for being adaptive in our changing environment!

Food was decent. Service was very, very slow. There was only about 3 employees seemed liked. Should change the name to Bar and grill instead of just a grill. It's basically a little dive bar, with slot machines. We brought our baby and couldn't stop smelling cigar smoke. It would've been nice if it was more clear that it wasn't a family place, then we would've known it wasn't the right scene for a baby. They need to make it clear that it's a BAR. Should've known by the rules that were posted, saying no gang activity, no drug use, no fighting, etc.

Its convienent but it takes a long time to get your food. The happy hour is 11am to 9pm which makes appetizers half off and not a bad atmosphere.

This was my first time there. The bartender was super nice. We ordered one drink and then a fight broke out and they said they were closing and everyone had to leave. I don't particularly hold the bar responsible if idiots decide to start a fight. I would definitely give them another chance. I don't think responsible alcohol service is a main focus there.The place is cozy,comfortable, and inviting. Plenty of parking pool tables and a cute little patio out front.

Great food! Great service! I remember when this place first opened up as The Big Burger Pub. It was just a little"bike in the wall". The new owners have opened up more space, and have really turned this place around! Prices are reasonable. I had the 12oz. Sirloin steak, baked potato, and Caesar salad. Steak was a nice thick steak. Nothing cheap like I expected!

This is a working class establishment so if you want or expect to be pampered go elsewhere but if you good service good food good people and good prices well this is it.

I love everything about this restaurant. Or bar. Whatever you consider it. We always go in as a family. And thoroughly enjoy the staff. The food is amazing. And the management team is really exceptional. If you are even slightly upset about something, they go above and beyond was trying to fix the issue, even if it isn't their fault. There are not a lot of restaurants that are also bars, that still have a very good family-oriented Vibe. Even on a Friday or Saturday night. This is definitely one of our favorites.

This is a place for locals. The wait was too long and noone was there but the locals at the bar. Santa Fe chicken sandwich is nothing more than a friend chicken sandwich with cheddar cheese it was decent but I expected more and my daughter's side order (no kids menu) of Mac and cheese was nasty looking the macaroni was clearly dried out. It's a hole in the wall bar, that the locals will swear is the best. But, if the wild west is your thing.. and you enjoy bar fights, and bathrooms that smell like urine. And lots of illegal activity. By all means, go there. They fired the best cook they had, because he told the cops about the activities that occur there. Their beer is really cheap though.. but, not worth the drama. And all of the young guys in Fredericksburg thinking they are going to be the next El Chapo.
