Here you will see all the reviews of people who consumed the products and services of Delirium Café-Leesburg (Restaurant) in the area close to the state of Virginia.
At the present the firm gets a score of 4.3 out of 5 and this score has been calculated on 599 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is really positive, and it's based on a large number of feddbacks, so we can conclude that the assessment is very accurate. If people have bothered to give their review when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to place evaluations when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant belongs to the category of Beer hall.
Went for lunch and the food and beers were both fantastic. I definitely recommend the honey and old bay wings. They are excellent! I also had the cold cut sandwich which was delicious. Service was great too. Definitely recommend!
OUR family celebration was perfect and yummy! Thank you everyone, the service and food are ALWAYS superb! Can I give it 10 ********** !
Great staff great selection of beer
I will never be over the fact that they don't have pork schnitzel anymore, but I love their wide selection of Belgian beers and the fact that their bartenders are so personable and knowledgeable.
Best beer around
I have enjoyed DT beer on multiple occasions. Very busy place. Slow service. Not very good food. Interesting beer options.
Our group of six had a very enjoyable brunch on a Sunday. We each ordered different dishes, each of which was well-prepared and as described in the menu. The service was prompt and friendly. The prices were fair. We plan to return.
This is a great place to go to for drinks and maybe appetizers, but not for lunch or dinner. The food portions are extremely small and way overpriced. If you come here, just come here with a full belly first ;)
The food is awesome and the bartender did a great job helping us to pick out the right beer!
Delirium has an amazing selection of Belgian beers on tap and even more in bottles. They don't have flights, but you can do half pours. The food is good and the garden seating is nice. I like that you get half off to-go bottles. I love delirium!
One of the friendliest waiters I've ever had and knew the beer menu inside and out. Asked me about my beer preferences and recommended great beers for me to try. Much appreciated!
The beer was good, the service was good, the atmosphere was good. The food was AWFUL. Denny's food would have been better and 1/2 the price.
Staff was very helpful, even with a large group. Beer selection was varied and beers were high quality.
Great place. Good food and really good beer.
So nice here. And amazing selection of food and beer.
The beer selection here is great. I just removed a star because the service here has really gone downhill recently.
Always a great time hanging at Delirium! The outdoor area is prime real estate in downtown Leesburg. They have wine which is great for the non beer drinkers like me! The food is delicious and consistent.
A genuine Belgian place with Good eats and a nice atmosphere.
Very nice place overall, fantastic beer selection. Not sure if the odor we encountered inside the entryway is always there, but that was my only unpleasantness. Nice staff, historic building, a fun part of our day.
Nice place to go for beer food and talk. Enjoyed
This is a place to drink but not eat. The food is way overpriced and they give you extremely small portions. I was suspicious when noticed that hardly anyone around us was eating, only drinking. The dinner menu only has five items on it & the menu is about the size of a legal sized envelope. My wife ordered the ribs and we thought was going to be a rack of ribs but was only one boneless rib & it tasted like bad pot roast. The waitress was very nice though.
Huge variety of beers from all around the world. Limited food choices but good food. Staff is friendly and fun. Prices are good. Strongly suggest you visit, you won't be disappointed.
Amazing beer, to drink there or to go. Great food, friendly staff.
Good food, great beers! Bit pricey
Ran out of the beers on the menu that we were interested in. Ended up.having just water. Place is busy and always packed. Nice outside seating.
Lars was one of the best bartenders I have ever had! Super accommodating even when we were a little needy, attentive, fun, friendly, great suggestions based on our likes, could not ask for more! I'd go back just for him!
A great spot in downtown Leesburg! Love the food and the draft list!
Everything just seems a bit pricey. An egg sandwich for 11 dollars, although good, just seems too high. The beer selection is good. But, with so many local breweries around it's hard to justify not going to them, instead.
This is a cool little funky place. Tried some new beers and had a great time with their very friendly bartender.
Great bar, great beer, especially if you like Belgian.
My mom works here
The beer menu was unreal. The food was awesome and came quickly. It was a little pricey for what it is but it was worth the price.
Great selection of beers, get the soft pretzels too
Phenomenal food. Amazing drinks. Perfect atmosphere, one of my absolute favorite spots for an excellent beer selection!
Food was fabulous as usual. Simple, satisfying fare and delicious mimosas. My favorite Sunday brunch spot.
My friend and I visited Delirium for brunch on Sunday and were both really disappointed. I will say that the overall vibe of the the restaurant was cool and despite there being a lot of people packed in our waitress took good care of us. When reviewing their menu online I saw that they served liege waffles, a true belgian waffle that is made with yeast rising dough and pearl sugar. I ordered the liege waffle and was so disappointed. It was not a liege waffle and was not even a good waffle. It was cold and flavorless. If you have had this type of waffle it is unmistakable, this felt like false advertising for sure. My friend ordered a crispy chicken sandwich. It was two chicken tenders on bread, way too small for the price point. Overall we were underwhelmed and disappointed.
Please come if you love beer
Bad service if you're not there for multiple drinks
Great selection of US and Euro brews and interesting menu
I’d give zero starts if I could. The Mac n cheese is god awful, the chips are stale, half the French fries were raw, the meatball sandwich had no flavor and the meatball was mush, the chicken sandwich is just a chicken strip slapped on bread, the grilled cheese was not grilled. It was a terrible experience.
Lots of variety of delicious beer!
Had lunch and a couple of beers here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was delicious and great value for the money. Great mix of beers and our server took time to help us make the right decision. Looking forward to my next visit.
Nice quaint bar with imported beers and great food. Loved the music, and the vibe was great
I liked the beer selection! I was worried it was only going to be Belgian style, but they have a great draft menu along with rare bottles to enjoy. The pretzel sausage whatever was great!
Great food and craft beers with a lively atmosphere and diverse crowd. Eat at the bar , dining area or outdoors . Highly recommended
Love this place. Always something good on tap, and appetizing food. Friendly service. Wish they were open later during the week though.
Really good Belgian beers and other ales on tap, good and friendly service. The vegetarian options I tried were just ok, so come for the beer and the experience. They have a nice outdoor biergarten too.
Great place for craft beer and delicious northern muscles. I will be back for sure!
One of my favorites. The best beer selection for Delirium fans.
Love the atmosphere. Great beer selection. Nice and knowledgeable staff. Food is tasty and delicious.
Delirium is the bomb. Food is absolutely delicious. Never be hesitant to try the Chef's special... They even make kale taste delicious. I don't drink beer but I'm in love with the black currant 522 Cider from Winchester Cider works!!
Good food. However, the wine pours were weak.
Food was good for a bar. Beer was off the hook! Service was amazing. Try the delirium red if you are a wine drinker, it's like a wine/beer. Yum!
My fiancee and I went here for a late brunch and it was fantastic! We had Francesca as our waitress and she did an awesome job with suggestions and telling us a bit about the place. Only place in the US where you can get Delirium beers on draft! Glasses are pretty awesome too, we bought one! Biscuits and gravy and the chicken tender sandwich were delicious, not to mention the fries as well. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.
Great Belgian beer selection with some locals mixed in. Food menu is adequate
Friendly service, tasty food and good selection of beers. Late night service is a real gem in this town.
Best Belgian beer in the area
Really good mussels! Delirium Tremens is my husband's favorite beer.
This is a good place to meet up with friends and have a great beer. By the time you leave you will have made some new friends and be looking forward to your next visit.
I liked this place initially but then I got the world's lamest grilled cheese. They don't have a lot of vegetarian options on their lunch menu and one of the few they had wound up being like 90% bread. Very disappointing.
Pretentious and overpriced. The owner must be counting the ounces poured and charged $10 for an 8 ounce pour. The beer is just not that amazing that it was worth more than $1.00 per ounce. I was not able to read the menu clearly due to my vision and felt duped into their most expensive pour. Never going back!
I got the short rib sandwich special and it was very good. It was a delicious well crafted sandwich. Bread was warm and the perfect combination of cruchy and soft. Could probably be taken to go but definitely best enjoyed on site freshly prepared.
The location has a unique space with separate rooms and an upstairs. The beer selection was pretty good with about five of their own and a bunch of others on draft. The food was solid for the apps that were ordered. Always feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @joerazz
Had a delicious lunch here. My companion had the bouillabaisse and he says the mussels were the best he'd had out of four recent restaurants. I enjoyed the meatball sub, the meatballs were tender and moist. The draft beer list runs to 20+, with some unusual selections. Friendly servers, too.
If you like Belgian beer, and if you like beer in general you must, then Delirium has so many on tap and in bottles that you'll never be disappointed. An international satellite of its mother cafe in Brussels, this establishment represents the best of what makes Belgium so special. A country around the size of Rhode Island has hundreds of breweries including the great Trappist breweries of the world is something for any beer lover to admire. I'd like to see a few Trappists on draught but that's a minor criticism. The menu is very good for accompanying with the brews on offer. The mussels and crostini are especially good with a tripel or three.
Checked this place out becaue I spent so much time at the original location. Its definitely a good substitute to get your delirium fix if you can't make it to Belgium.
My visit to Delirium Cafe was during the weekend of Leesburg’s Flower and Garden Festival. It was a beautiful day for family and friends to join together to experience a festival like no other. The Service was okay. The food, ehh was alright. There will have to be a redemption visit in the future. I just wasn’t that impressed.
Today was my first time here. Excellent brunch / lunch menu and a variety of beers and wines to choose from. Nice outdoor seating area as well!
A little pretentious and service uneven. Food basically good. I guess it really is a beer place!
The creme brulee was very good
Great food and wonderful place to pass some time
Strong beer selection with an aspiring to be gourmet menu. Food wasn't bad, but it doesn't zing either.
Love it good place!
This place is AMAZING!!!! I remember when this place was still under construction, I remember the Owner would always smile at me and was always kind. Their food is great as well as the selection of beer they have. I’ll never forget the time when I was craving for the “Endive Salad” I walked to this place, but when I ordered they said that it was out of season, Curtis saw my demise and spoke to me and he said he’ll make it himself. That is customer service right there. Been coming her for a little over two years now... This is a Family friendly place and such great crowd!!! :)
A great place to eat. There were eight senior citizens and we were hungry. The food was outstandingly good. The mussels that were cooked in butter and beer, fabulous. Plus it was my birthday and I was given a great piece of bread pudding if I am ever that way again I will stop and eat there.
Great food and drinks. We had a mix of items and all were very tasty, though not the best I've had. Mussels were good... Overall the food was 4 star worthy though the atmosphere soonest pushes it to 5 stars. The Belgian beer selection is very good as you'd expect. Nice warm atmosphere inside and the outdoor beer garden is great looking out on historic downtown Leesburg.
Great space, great beers and great service!!
One of Leesburgs hidden gems. Incredible Belgian beer selection and the food is also very good! Enjoyed the live music
Walked in not even knowing if they served food and boy did they. Great food all and from appetizers to the mains, great vibe in the upstairs dining room and great service from Wyatt who was the right level of attentive with being obtrusive! Definitely done place that we'll be recommending and returning to again!
Excellent beer selection, tasty food, and friendly staff.
I have a peanut allergy and I had an allergic reaction here because of false information they gave me. One of their beers has peanut flour and they do not clean their beer glasses well enough. They said they sanitize and thoroughly cleaned their glasses - if that were true, I wouldn't have had a problem. Even after not being able to finish my beer because of my allergic reaction, they still decided to charge me $19 for it. Never again! I would recommend not supporting a business like this.
I herd this is a new place and one of their only places around. The beer was fantastic and the staff very knowledgeable. The food was also delicious.
Andrea is the best bar tender in the world.
Not sure what happened in the last couple months but we were here not that long ago and food and service were great but not today! Our food was cold and the service was slow and confused. We were told not to share food... wth???? I don't believe I will be back.
Great beer, great food and awesome service!!!
The good: -Delirium beer on tap -Tasty fries -Some food was good (especially the fries) -Saw a cool C2 corvette as we were leaving on the way out The bad: -Server never checked on us, had to flag her down for everything -My first beer was watery/stale -same 5 Blink182 songs played on loop the entire time we were there -We ordered coffee when we first got there, didn't come out for almost an hour, and it was really watery when it did. Plus we had to ask for it 3 times. -We had a group of 8 and it took us asking several times to get beers for everyone -Beer was overpriced for small pours ($10 for 8 oz pour) -When we finally got the opportunity to order it took a long time to get our food, and one member of our party didn't get hers (an appetizer) -Some food portions were tiny (sandwich with only lettuce, hardly brisket) -One of our brisket order was incorrectly cooked. -Our desserts weren't delivered in a timely manner. We had to ask for them again, and tmwn they arrived one was a really small portion, and the other was somehow watered down. -It took 3 hours to get our meals, bill, and leave. -We had to split up our bill for the waitress because she didn't keep it seperate. We went around the table and had to list what we each ordered for her. -She tried to charge us for the watery beer we returned -Two of us ordered soup and they had to ask for spoons Overall, don't go for anything other than beers, and even then be wary.
Great food, great service, and obviously great beers!
You gotta try the truffle fries.
Love delerium tremens and cute bar
Between the beer and food, this was an amazing place to go eat. We went here after eating at the Doner spot down the road, we had their waffles and ice cream, as well as a few Belgian beers. Excellent service, their staff really knew what they were talking about and the outdoor seating was perfect for a beautiful spring evening. Will be back!
Noisey but nice
Awesome selection of drinks! Frites are perfect and come with toppings to satisfy almost any palate. Definitely try the apple pie for desert! Outdoor seating is perfect anytime of day and the lighting outside in the evening is just beautiful. Nice music and very quick service! Try to snap a picture with their outdoor artwork if you’re there!
Great beer! Expensive. Friendly staff.
If you like Belgium ales - just do it!
This was an amazing find! One of the best beer bars I have visited--a real jewel! Huge selection of Belgian beers, incredibly friendly staff, and great decor.
This is the fifth or sixth time that I've been to the cafe. I generally don't review a place on my first visit because it doesn't give me a real feel for what's going on. Tonight I confirmed what I always thought which is that this place is great. The atmosphere of the old building and the creaky wooden floors the many steps up and down inside the place because it was multiple buildings before it really has character. Apparently they serve beer here LOL I don't drink but they have about 400 different styles. I came with friends for the atmosphere and the food. I had the meatball sandwich with a salad which were both wonderfully delicious and a friend of mine that was with me gave me a few bites of her chicken salad sandwich which was equally delightful I can't wait to go back.
Awesome place! Good food and even better service! Our waitress was Min and she was the best. She knew it was our first time there and she made us feel so welcomed and made sure to explain their menu in detail. We had our toddler there and she saw him playing by the stairs. Instead of telling him to go sit with Mommy, she sat down next to him and played with him for awhile!! Amazing!! Definitely coming again:)
We went through Leesburg on the way to a concert in Bristow and noticed your sign. Concert was cancelled due to rain so rather then waist the 4 hour drive, decided to go back and have a drink. Place was busy, but plenty of workers, very quick prompt and delete. Fantastic beer list and I had the smashed meatball sandwhich and it was fabulous! Great location!
The food here is great! I love the mussels and my husband is obsessed with the poutine fries. When the weather is nice, outdoors is great, especially with kids. Nice spot for weekend brunching!
Very cool place. Nice beer selection
Unfortunately, underwhelming. The draft beer list is fantastic, including the great Delirium brews which are the namesake, and the bottle list is great. Unfortunately, the beers are stupidly expensive at almost $1 per oz. A "full pour" is 25cl, or about 8.4oz. If you drink two pints of beer, it'll be $32. The food menu is limited, but I usually like that at restaurants as it means they make just a few things that they are really good at. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here, as the food was really just bland. Service was also slow, likely compounding the long waits to get a table. They also don't accept reservations, making it even more difficult. If you want to pop in and try a hard-to-find beer, this place is great. At $15 / plate and $8 for half a pint, though, you're better off going elsewhere if you want to actually sit somewhere for food and some drinks. With so many great microbreweries in Leesburg, now, there are plenty of other more affordable options with excellent beer.
Delirium has slow service and sub-par food. The seating is cramped and the beer is overpriced. Would not recommend
A nice spot, but very pricey. Staff is very nice.
Good beer selection, relaxed old-world atmosphere. I recommend the mussels.
Excellent Belgian food and beer. They have the full range of Hyghe beers as well as an extensive list from other Belgian brewers. Great service and cool decor, primarily of Hyghe posters and other marketing materials.
Good beer, with a high ABV so you have to be careful. Nice outdoor space. The food is mediocre and pricy for what it is. They should figure out a selection of bar foods that they do an excellent job with and stick with that.
Great place and great beer leads to some fuzzy memories. At least I think so I am not sure I can't remember.
Food was only okay, the sausage did not have much flavor. Also tried the pickled vegetables which were very good. Waitstaff was polite and helpful. Will give another shot, good for beer at least as they have a massive selection.
Best beer in the US.
Awesome place. Not as good as the overseas one but good selection of beer so far. Over 100 beers available currently (26 on tap). Great food although not a lot on the menu.
The pretzels were phenomenal. Best I’ve ever had. Delirium has been a long time favorite of mine for beer, and opening a Café in Leesburg is brilliant. Take the next one to Charlotte, NC!
Beer and food...good people
Great beer and a break from the domestic micro obsession. Attractive, attentive, and approachable waitresses.
Best Belgian Beer Bar I've ever been to. They also have amazing food. Try the waffles, they are awesome.
Great place. Tons of craft beer both on tap and by the bottle. They also have a great wine selection. Food is very good. Very cute outdoor seating patio. A good place to go with friends or to take a date.
Every time I walk by Delirium it always seems busy so I decided to give it a shot the other night. I ordered a Chicken Caesar salad to go because I wanted something easy to eat in a short period of time. When I picked up my salad, the staff was very friendly and nice. However, when it came to eating my salad I was very disappointed. The chicken was extremely dry to the point where it wasn’t edible without water after each bite. The croutons were the only reason I gave a 2 star rating because they were good. The salad was definitely not worth the price I paid. It was too expensive for a very basic Caesar salad with dry chicken.
Beers were severely under poured , 1/2 were foam and these are over $10 beers. My pot pies dough was raw and they call it a new take which is basically without the crust they put a puff pastry on top because they are lazy to make an actual pie. The classic poutine was not classic , what was supposed to be warm potato wedges with cheese curds were cold thin fries with cottage cheese and canned gravy. We were shocked. Never coming back.
Surprisingly good food and the beer speaks for itself. Little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Close to other good spots in old historic Leesburg.
Cute shop. Lots of beer options. Food was pretty good.
I was so excited to see this cafe being built, but sadly the beer was extremely disappointing. Everything on tap tastes like something you could buy from a bottle at Giant. I'd go to Crooked Run or Black Hoof for better tasting brews. Very limited menu. Don't come here if you want a meatless option.
Beer selection is phenomenal, as is the happy hour pricing. Food is also really good. I highly recommend the chicken and waffles and the beer steamed mussels.
This beautifully-furnished café is a wonderful people-watching opportunity.
When you visit Washington DC, this is a place to visit, even if it is 35 miles away, to get a divers stock of beers; like in Europe. But the food...
Awesome beer selection. Friendly staff. Good food. Great fries. Will definitely go again!
Great drinks, decent food if on special
Incredible selection of their classic bottled beers on draft. Food menu was delicious as well. Highly recommend the poutine fries and parmesan truffle fries.
A really cool bar and cafe. Delirium is an exceptional Belgian beer and the cafe doesn't dissapoint. Right off the W&OD trail, it's a great place to stop while on a long weekend ride. The grilled cheese sandwich is off the hook!
Have the deviled eggs. The food is spectacular and the libation hits the spot.
Great service, great beer, pretty good food! All around we enjoy Delirium and have been many times. Always has lots of customers and a lively vibe.
Awesome atmosphere, awesome beer! Staff is always on point. Check this place out!
Top notch! Didn't actually try any of their beers, but had 2 great local beers while I did some work. Really outstanding service and pleasant environment.
Lots of good beer. Great food, great ambiance. Patio. This place is cool.
Great beer selection, a small but rich lunch menu. Maybe a few dollars more than other places, but the atmosphere and beer are worth it.
Atmosphere was very relaxing. We came to leesburg for their flower festival. I ordered the ham cheese egg sandwich and was mediocre. I could have easily made the egg sandwhich at home home with whole wheat options. Waiter was great, apologized for the long wait of the "special" a friend ordered off the menu.
Fun place, good food, great beer selection. Loved the Coke made with cane sugar and not corn syrup.
Craft beers in an always good people watching environment
Fun place chill beer garden
This was my third visit to Delirium, the first was when it opened, the second was about a month after. Initially I had hoped it was because they were new they just didn't have their service, beer or food figured out, but now I realize they just aren't that great. For being a "Delirium" branded restaurant I would hope for a better selection of on tap special Delirium drinks, unfortunately that doesn't seem to be there case. Lots of generic beer you can get anywhere else and a large selection of 12$ bottles that you can pick a pack of up at Total Wine. The food is okay, nothing too special, this place is about the same quality and style as Kings Tavern down the street with prices that are notably higher. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the heavy lingering smell of fried food, reminiscent of a McDonald's, not necessarily bad (if you like that kind of thing), but not what I want where the expectation (based on the brand) is for a good beer first and foremost. This is a very enjoyable beer brand with a high quality international reputation, being used to sell high priced bar food and mediocre beer with lackluster service in an atmosphere that rivals the dark local pubs designed in the style of your grandfather's Moose Lodge circa 1975. There are many other better quality, service and priced beer and food options in downtown Leesburg.
The food was excellent and they have a large selection of interesting beers on tap. Parking was easy and the service was good. Outdoor seating was nice.
I stumbled upon this place after a long day at work and it was the best thing I could have ever done! The beers hit the spot and the mussels we're fresh and well cooked. I wish I could have gotten an order for the road. The service was excellent as well. I hope the expand into Maryland but it's worth the drive if you're not close.
Stopped here mid-afternoon to try foreign beers with a group of friends. Ample seating, cool inside, and friendly staff. Can't complain! Will absolutely be back to check out their extensive beer collection (24 taps, 200+ bottles) and grab a bite. Parking downtown in Leesburg is simple, and there are a lot of small shops nearby to divvy up groups.
Amazing brunch. Very unique, yet there was something for each of my family of 5.
Great select of beer, nice atmosphere, good food, all you can ask for!
Great placed to get refreshed after walking about in town. Great helpful service.
Really cool and hip local beer and food joint.
Love that place, had a wonderful grilled cheese sandwich, can't wait to try their waffles!
Excellent beer selection and good food. Service was a little slow but it was a Monday night. The Belgium beer was worth it.
Unique restaurant with great food straight out of Belgium, along with a decent beer selection. The chicken on the salad I got this particular time was very dry unfortunately. Still recommend.
Epic beer list for tap and bottle paired with great food!! This is a gem for any beer lover! Love this place. Balsamic glaze on deviled eggs is
Great for happy hour, brunch, lunch or dinner. Huge beer menu. Staff is super friendly and attentive.
Disappointing. The waffle was okay, but the sandwiches were just too plain: we got The Return and a Croque Madame. The latter was honestly the worst ham and cheese sandwich I've ever had. I could walk into any grocery store and get ham, Swiss and an egg. If I'm going to pay $10 for a sandwich, it should be something that I can't make on my own. There wasn't even any sauce or seasoning on the sandwich. Even the simple addition of celery salt would have made it so much better. The other sandwich, brisket and Brie on a baguette with lettuce, was similarly bad. leaving out the lettuce would have made it a hundred times better, but it was still just too plain and simple to justify the $14 price tag. This place might have good beer, but avoid it if you're hungry.
You need to go here... great bar with awesome beer selection. The owner will help you choose if you want him to. Friendly staff and easy access... bottle shop upstairs and there's a cool outdoor patio with heaters if needed. Check it out, you won't be sorry.
Went in for a round of beer with friends. The beer was good but it took almost an hour to get our checks and pay. Wouldn't come back
Very good beer selection, though the menu is rotating often and hard to know what offering you might find.
Good service and great beer selection. I when they first opened they were great with lots of potential. I Have them a great review a year ago. The food here has gone significantly down hill since they first opened though. I had a chicken tender sandwich and it was dried out and apparent it was straight from the freezer. Had a few bites but couldn't bring myself to finish it. Friend of mine that came with me had a Cod sandwich with a similar opinion. We did have the Frites Poutine which I thought was pretty good. For now I would say come for the beer, maybe the appetizers, but stay away from the rest of the menu, at least chicken and fish.
