We had such a lovely time here, mainly due to the incredible general manager, Carrie. I have food allergies, and was prepared to eat my steak salad without dressing; but she insisted on bringing a selection of juicy toppings for me to add as I wished. I enjoyed the experience, as well as the actual salad, immensely. Her consideration made the experience a memorable one!

My steak salad was delicious. There was a bug in my water which wasn't so great. Their molten chocolate cake was a disappointment. The manager explained that their cake did not ooze chocolate as that's called a lava cake. This was disappointing! We sent them back for the lemon cake which was good but very cold. Cake should be served room temperature. The manager had an excuse for everything. Disappointing first experience.

Never disappointed when I go to DelFrisco's. The service was great. My steak was overcooked, but the manager replaced it and made sure it was cooked perfectly. He gave us free dessert for the inconvenience. The macaroni and cheese is highly recommended.

This is a very nice place. Had lunch there several times. The food and service were very good. The ambience and value were above average. It can get quite loud at peak times, however. Haven't had dinner there, but in my opinion it's not the kind of place you'd go to for a romantic dinner.

Nice location, convenient for dinner prior to a show at National Theatre. Food was good, and the prix fixe menu was a good bargain. Butternut Squash soup was a nice 1st course. The pork chop was terrific, good flavor, almost steak-like. Nice size, very juicy, cooked perfectly. The accompanying apple and sweet potato hash was kind of bland. The Peanut Butter Chocolate pie was very good, not overly sweet. The steak salad was also a good entree. The mushroom gnocchi was a fresh, in a nice rich sherry cream sauce. The sticky toffee cake was very heavy, maybe a little too sweet.

I visited this particular location for the first time Saturday night, and I was not pleased or impressed with the overall experience. Our waitress seemed a bit rushed and unengaged with our group. Maybe this was the perfect storm because the whole restaurant wait staff appeared to be more concerned with the local celebrities that were in attendance as oppose to other patrons. The wait staff was so interested that they allowed a group to hang out in men’s room smoking weed and blocking folk from entering until they were done! I can say that I will not recommended this location to anyone!

My boyfriend and I have dined here, for lunch, a few times over the years. The restaurant is conveniently located near a couple of METRO subway stations in downtown Washington, DC. We arrived @ 11:30 AM (my boyfriend made a reservation) because it does fill up quickly during lunch. We have dined both inside the restaurant and at the outside tables where the covered patio is during the Summer) and the decor and ambiance are great. Since we arrived early, we were able to get seated in a quieter area. One of our many nice waiters was OSCAR who was wonderful, very friendly and attentive. We were served quickly and our food was delicious. We have ordered the ribs, lamb burger with fries and steak salad and all were very delicious. The prices vary depending on the meal and the prices are more so reasonable especially for their downtown location. Public parking garages close by which are somewhat expensive. Metered street parking is very limited. The restaurant is located near dramatic arts theaters and tourist attractions, as well. We plan to return, again, to dine at this location of Del Frisco's Grille.

This restaurant is really great, be careful because they have two locations with different menus. This one has a more modern and specialized menu. The other location has more steaks, both are great, just make sure you go to the location you intend to attend.

I've dined at Del Frisco's two or three times because it is close to the Smithsonian Museum of American History where I attend chamber music concerts. The food and service are always good. The ambience is pleasant, and the prices are moderate. It's my go-to restaurant in that area.

A group of colleagues and I had dinner and drinks here. The wait staff was attentive. The NY strip was great; it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The zucchini with parmesan on the side was good also. They have a large wine selection for pairing options. The deserts we had were good also. Overall, it was a nice dinner experience, and I will come back when I'm in the area again.

Very nice server. That's probably the best I can say about this place. Supposedly a dress code but obviously not enforced in the slightest. Out of bread, out of broccoli, wrong mains delivered but comped a side. Sides are VERY SMALL and otherwise unremarkable. Steaks are good but definitely not selected from double eagle. Drinks were fine but delivered untimely. I understand you would come here for a cheaper steak meal but still not worth $110+ per person.

Staff was very attentive and polite. Hopefully the patio furniture will arrive soon. I would come back, but I wouldn't order anything too extravagant from the menu. Stick to the basics.

The service and atmosphere was good. The Ahi Tuna Tacos had a fresh flavor with a crisp crunch to the fresh fried taco shells. The plating of the main courses was not impressive. The salmon portion was small but cooked and seasoned well. A bit over priced for the quality of food. My friend's lump crab cake was very small but she said it was satisfying. The portions on the fish and chips was very large. The virgin drinks were okay.

First time here and the ribeye was good quality and cooked properly. When taking my order, the waiter asked how I wanted it cooked and l said medium. He then explained how it should look, a little pink inside. Correct. When he brought the steak, he asked that I cut into it to see if it was as I requested. Check. Cooked and seasoned properly. This is how a good steakhouse is supposed to operate. I've been to some of the best and although this is not top of the line, it is good. Go if you get a chance.

I think that the restaurant as a whole is a little loud for me but that's because it's hard to hear when you're enjoying the company of others. Not even sure why they would bring it out that late in the dining experience. I've been here once before and had a good experience, that is the only reason i did not give 1 star. After going to the "regular" del Frisco's and then coming back to the "grille" i will probably never come back. Especially since the grille does not have butter cake.

We had a Happy Hour with some colleagues and I always like the venue, however the bar tenders on this visit were terrible and couldn't get our drink orders figured out, didn't ask certain members of our party what they wanted and got flustered when I asked to take over the tab. Good food, not so great service. It always seemed like such an effort to get any waiters attention, from trying to get menus and water to ordering food. Most of the place was empty and there were many people walking around who worked there but no one seemed to be serving any tables. The AC wasn't working which made it that much more frustrating they took over 10 minutes just to give us waters for the table. Once we finally got our food it was pretty good and the drinks were alright, nothing remarkable. Also, I ordered a margarita with Don Julio and the waiter came back saying all they had was Don Julio 42 but neglected to say that was $40 a shot (like anyone would want that just wasted on a margarita!) Probably wouldn't come back next time I'm in town.

When I worked a Dept of Commerce I ate here at least twice a week, and I did branch out. There are many good places to eat in the area, but most are not as good and much more pricey than Del Frisco's. Their chef staff is very talented, their wait staff is on point as any, shift managers occasionally walk the aisles checking customer satisfaction levels, and even the hosts up front are the epitome of professional courtesy. It's really a bar in the center of a restaurant, but don't let that deter you giving a try. My favorite dish is the Steakhouse Salad, but I've roamed that menu and been happy with every offering I've tried. Today it's a draw for me anytime I'm in the area, and each time becomes my excuse to stop for excellent grub.

I came here with a large group over the weekend. I'd been to Double Eagle, but this was my first time at Del Frisco's Grille. I was advised that they have a new Chef. He came out and talked with our group. It was a nice touch. We tried a variety of things including: Berkshire Pork Chop, Steak Frites Au Poivre, French Fries, Duck Breast, Bone-in Rib-eye, Tuna with grapefruit and fennel, Heirloom Tomato Burrata, Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, Artichoke Beignets and the BLT Risotto. The group seemed to enjoy everything. The restaurant is large and upscale. They also have an amazing whiskey and wine selection. Our waiter brought our food out to us quickly and correctly. The restaurant itself is well maintained and taken care of. There are a few different parking options that I was aware of. One directly on the other side of the building for $20 and another one caddy corner across the street for $17. We all would come back again.

Please please let me find a decent place to eat in DC. Service =1 received meal before appetizer and bread...had to remind waitress of drink order. Food - 3 flatbread overcooked but everyone else liked their food. Ambience = 4 inside is beautifully designed for an evening in DC but the outside signage wasn't lite so we almost passed the restaurant. Prices = 2 hard to accept the prices when service is so lousy. Bring a flashlight to see the drink menu. I have been in this MDV area for 5 years now and it's getting worse not better (restaurants food and service) Unsupportive of DC tip/wage increase to $15 per hour. Beware....

Nice quiet spot for you to enjoy talking with your loved ones. My mom doesn't like a lot of places but she actually liked everything we ordered yesterday. Our server was very nice as well and brought our stuff to us in a timely manner. The deviled eggs and artichoke appetizers were really good. The waitress wasn't very friendly on my last visit. I've had better waiters here tho. I work nearby so it is a restaurant that I frequent at least 2-3 times a month. The menu has changed constantly and drastically . Also some dishes aren't as good as they used to be which is disheartening. It's a suitable restaurant if you happen to be in that area.

My wife and two friends came just to try the Impossible Burger. The burger was really good! The wait staff was very friendly, but service was slow and spotty. They did remedy their mistakes (stale chips with very fresh guacamole), but orders came out slowly and not at once, and issues took a few reminders. An after work spot that welcomes working professionals and families. The waiter was knowledgeable, professional, and understood the needs of the guest. Prices are typical of a higher end steakhouse...more options with an excellent flavor. Sports were on the bar television and everyone seemed to be genuinely having a good time. Whether after work or date night...this is a wonderful place to dine.

Okay food, but not what I would consider high-end dining even though the prices are. I ordered the greens and grains salad with chicken. The salad came in a bowl with all of its various components (greens, quinoa, beets, dried cranberries, etc.) all separated with the chicken piled in the middle. The greens were the only thing with dressing on them (no dressing on the side to put on any other vegetables or the chicken), but the quinoa also had some flavor. The chicken was not seasoned at all, and the only way to tolerate eating it was to get a bunch of greens with dressing or quinoa and include it in the same bite as the chicken. The food was very bland, my chicken was dry and the mash potatoes was lukewarm and the food was over price I can get the same food and the same amount at bus boy and poets for lesser price or anywhere else. Only thing that was good about it was the place, have to admit the place was nice but the food sucks and I also had better drinks as well smfdh.

No where nearly as good as it should have been. Bad, over salted appetizer and the hamburger can't be cooked to order. The head waiter also had bad customer service.

A noisy watering hole near the Federal Triangle with above par prices and food that is barely par for the course. My party of 4 ordered a Bisque, Fish Tacos and 2 types of burgers. Comparisons with nearby Ollie's and Harry's were inevitable. Both those places serve real and better Burgers at cheaper prices and lower decibels. The Bisque was similar to a regular Chinese sweet corn soup. A Food Truck could have cooked up much bettet Fish Tacos.
