Extensive beer menu! Great appetizers. They were able to accommodate a group of 20 without reservation. Kids menu very tasty. Kids received wiki stix to play with, and that was a HUGE hit! Kept them entertained. Nice 'back yard' with water features and a place for the kids to run around

One of the worst servers in my life. Food took forever, never got my salad, burger came out almost rare when asked for medium well, took our server (Katie C) forever to come ask how everything came out. When we needed to pay she was sitting down at the booth across from us doing nothing. We were WAVING OUR HANDS to get her attention and somehow she still didn’t see us. Not a complainer not someone to review, I’m a server myself but it was literally ridiculous.

I like this place. A bit corporate. But the food is decent. I had the sesame seated tuna salad. Not quite well executed but what I was looking for. But I come here for the beer. A huge selection on tap, something for everyone. And an even 'huger' selection of cans and bottles. All priced to drink in or take with you.

Huge selection of beers! Over 100 taps and tons of different ones in cans/bottles. Makes it awesome to be able to try a lot of local beers at one place. Food has also been on point each night. So good we went 2 days in a row. No complaints, definitely worth trying. The perogies were different than any I’ve tried before, and there are other European option on the menu too. Each of my colleagues agreed that the food was excellent.

This was the second time visiting and our server, Angela M, made it an amazing experience. She was attentive, went out of her way to see if they could make the Watermelon Basil martini that I had the first visit and the food was good. The restaurant was clean and everyone was friendly. We are excited to make this a new date night spot! I definitely recommend.

Capital Ale House is always good food and beer. Pretty chill atmosphere and some live music outside when it’s nice. Can be a little expensive but for the area, that’s to be expected. The amount of beers is worth the trip to try a bunch of new stuff.

This place is definitely a go-to, excellent beer choices and the food is also very good. Staff was extremely friendly, even the beer buyer for the restaurant was friendly and had us try a couple samples of beers he was thinking of buying. If I'm ever out in the Richmond area again I'll be back!!

Actually I didnt even want to leave one star we arrived at 715 PM the dining area only had around 6 or 7 people eating the hostess told us it would be a 30 minute wait I said but your dining area is empty I said that makes no sense then this girl butts in and says patio is really busy I said so Friday and Saturday are the big night people eat out they looked at me like I was crazy I also said I've been out on your patio its NOTthat big thoroughly not happy so we left they told the next customer the same thing 30 minute wait and dining area empty??? Contacting corporate on this!!!

The food is a bit pricey, but alright. The bathroom smelled like old mop water and the ceiling tile had black stuff on it where we sat to eat (don't know if stuck on dust or mold). The service was fantastic with portable credit card charging which was the biggest plus since the wait on food was about 30 minutes woth only 4 other tables in the restaurant being served. I don't know much about the bar but seen great specials on drinks and a good selection. Maybe a bar run with friends i would recommend, but not much after that since the service is what holds it together for me.

Stopped here for lunch and loved the Cuban pork tacos. They have a great area outside for dining and the service was good. Will be back.

It's ok. My fish was fried too hot and was under cooked with runny batter inside. They took it off the bill which was nice of them. Hoping next time is better.

Rather disappointing meal and service. We arrived around 230pm so it wasn't busy in the main dining room, although there was a private party in the back. We ordered drinks first before deciding on 4 appetizers. The 2 drinks (sangria) took about 15 minutes. I also asked for a glass of water - 5 more minutes to arrive. Again, it wasn't busy. Our food took forever even though our server told us it was ready and she would be bringing it right out. Before doing so, she brought out items for other tables. Normally this would have been fine, but when the food arrived, it wasn't hot. We had selected the charcuterie board, Belgian fries, pierogies, and spinach crab & shrimp dip. Sadly the charcuterie was lackluster at best. 4 pieces of brie? And while the pickles were great, the menu stated pickled vegetables so we expected at least a 2nd option. Belgian fries were slightly warm, not crispy. The pierogies were strange - deep fried. The filling was excellent but the cooking method made it difficult to eat unless they were trying for pierogie nachos. Finally, the spinach crab & shrimp dip was the best of the 4 dishes. However, since it had been sitting in the back, the melted cheese on top was congealed and you had to cut it with a knife to get to the dip. Overall, I would only order the crab dip again and hope it was fresh instead of sitting under a heat lamp. I've had better meals at the Midlothian location and hope this was just an anomaly.

My husband and our 3 children came to have dinner around 6:30pm on a Sunday evening. There were maybe 4-5 other tables in the entire restaurant. She took us to a table with chairs and when we asked for a booth, she told us that we could not have a high chair for our 6 month old son if we sat at a booth. There were literally no other tables sitting in the section of the restaurant she was about to seat us, so that seemed a little staunch (plus there was plenty of room even with the high chair if there were people sitting at the two tables past ours) and as I said before, we were one of about 5 tables in the whole place. The only person who walked past our table was her, while making an obvious displeased face as she saw we had asked our server for a high chair and like a reasonably intelligent person, he assessed the situation appropriately and obliged. I worked in restaurants for about 10 years and if I ever heard of a hostess creating an issue in these circumstances, I would certainly have spoken to her about being flexible whenever possible. And it was certainly possible tonight. I should have spoken to a manager and I still might call. But hopefully he/she will see this and fix the issue. The hostess was an extremely thin, young girl with dark wavy hair and bangs and lots of eyeliner. She may have been wearing glasses, I can’t remember, but she sucks.

Easily one of the better chains. Huge beer selection, though quantity isn't always quality. Hot Buffalo wings are extra spicy and wonderful. Get the pretzel!

While visiting Richmond, a friend and I came here and sat at the bar served by Weaver. He is absolutely amazing. He gave good suggestions on food and drinks and made us feel very welcome and very well taken care of. When I come back to Richmond I would absolutely come back. Thank you so much!

The game room is great! If you can catch it completely open its a great place for a big group. I wish they had mini-bar ledges around the outsides of the room to put your drinks. You have to have a table as a homebase and keep going back to it. Kind of kills the pool or dart mood. I think they could even remove more tables and put more games if they had those ledges.

They have ROACHES! I ordered a French dip and not one but two roaches crawled from my sandwich when I went to bite it! When I informed the server she stated that have been having this problem a lot!
