Really enjoyed the atmosphere, drinks and food here! We had a special to start which was only ok (melon wrapped in prosciutto, melon wasn't ripe) but the burgers were amazing! The sweet potato wedges are huge and regular fries were nice and crispy. Great selection of local beers on tap too and they have tasting flights for only $3-4 if you can't make up your mind. Definitely plan to come back here!

My go-to bar in the entire city for beer. I guess it helps that I live just a few blocks away. They have constantly rotating taps with world class, award-winning brews. It's on the pricey side for a beer bar, but it's always been worth it for the quality and the diversity that they have on tap. Shout out to Adrian the bartender for making the place feel like a home away from home too.

Good beer spot with a big selection. Little pricey so not a multi beer spot but lots in the selection. Don't order food here though! I had some bratwurst pigs in a blanket that were cold in the middle, I couldn't finish it. Neither could my coworker who ordered the same. Friend's nachos were not good either so that went unfinished. If you're looking for good craft beer and craft beer ONLY then this is a decent spot.

The Brookland Pint a laid back neighborhood bar with a Great microbrewed beer selection. Truly a hidden beer Mecca, staff are very friendly as well, I definitely have to come back here

Management is rude. A big group of teachers came to happy hour after the last day of school. The server didn’t come to our table so we used the bar to order drinks and food. 3 hours later a hostess/server came over to tell us to scoot over because there were guests coming in. We filled the table with a few of us standing, there was nowhere to go. She kept arguing with us to “just make room.” We asked for the manager he came over and told us we weren’t actual diners despite ordering drinks and food- because we had used the bar instead of the server. Then he said fine you can have the table with so much attitude and no apology for making us feel like garbage human beings (meanwhile every other table is a quarter full at best and there’s literally an empty smaller table). He came back to tell us the couple needed a high chair, so that’s why he needed the edge of our table, I don’t know, to guilt us? He came back to tell us we can’t have dogs on the patio- we’ve been here 3-4 hours at this point and not a single person has said anything and there are 0 signs that dictate this. But he didn’t just say that, he said, “Oh, AND you have a dog? There are no dogs on the patio, nobody told you that?” *Throws up his hands and scoffs* “A customer got bit by a dog, that’s why!” This tiny sleepy puppy had been in someone’s lap the whole time and was not going anywhere near other people. Needless to say, we will never be choosing this establishment again and we will be sharing our experiences with others.

They have a really nice menu and the structure of the restaurant is really nice. I like the occasional smoke Pitt on Saturday. They have outside seating, a bar, and add it on alb away from bar seating at high-top tables. Hostess at front door and bouncer at night. Bring family and friends. Located next door Brooklyn metro station.

The beer knowledge of the servers is surpassed only by the quality of beer they serve! Nearly everything on the menu is delicious, I especially love what they do with their sweet potatoes. It's possible on any given night to see monks at the bar which is always a rare sight anywhere else.

Poor Service. The hostess didn't greet me. When requesting a table for two, she gave a sarcastic "yeah", walked me to my table and just left us there. If it wasn't for putting two waters on the table, I wouldn't know where to sit. Then waiting 15 min before being served, the waiter comes over and says he'll be right with us, than has us wait another 10 min. I left before things could get worse. I heard the wings were good, but I'll never know.

Great little neighborhood place in Brookland! Very cute, love the decor and ambiance. They have a great selection of craft beers, some local ones, and some from all over the US. They have some cocktails, they have cider and meed, and have about 4 red and 4 whites. They just open and this is their opening list, so they might expand it within the next few weeks and month. The place is great to have a drink and diner, they have a fantastic patio also. And a good mix of people. My friend and I had the burger which were really good! Our meat was maybe a little bit more toward median than median rare but over all very good! They have a nice menu, I really want to try their scallops with pasta, and the chicken liver pate! Great place to have drinks!

We walked in at about 2:45 and were handed brunch menus. After sitting at our table for 10-15 minutes without so much as being brought water, I went up to the host and asked when we would be served. The host offered to take our order but then said we'd need new menus because it was 3pm and brunch was over, suggesting that we should wait even longer to place our order because no one at the restaurant bothered tending to us. I'm going to qualify this review by saying I'm rating this particular experience rather than the restaurant as a whole. I've been to Brookland Pint a number of times since moving into the neighborhood and have had great experiences every time. This was a very disappointing departure from the norm. Either way, the only way to characterize the service we received today is absolutely awful.

Food and service was good but one thing that bothered me was upon arrival we were told it would be a wait, we saw open tables but decided to see what would happen. Once we sat those tables stayed open a majority of the time we were there and other tables opened up before the first few were sat, meaning there was no need for a wait. I guess they didn't want to put two people on a table for 4 but seems silly to potentially lose guests that are waking in over an imaginary 4top that might not come.

Ordered a burger med-rare, it came well-done. Okay whatever, but the manager came over and said he'd comp our beers--he also said, "no one wants to be here, well maybe you all do." But when the bill came nothing was taken care of. Also, their picnic tables are falling apart, lucky to not get a splinter. Fine other than these issues, don't think we'll be back.

I came here last weekend with a few friends and had a wonderful experience. The beer selection is fantastic. If you are looking for good local beers or imported beers, this place will do the job. The bartenders and staff were nice and easily accessible. The bar has plenty of seating and is a great spot for large groups. The wooden tables and chairs are excellent and give a good vibe to the restaurant. I enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich, it was a little fatty, but good portion. The sweet potato wedges are a,amazing and are freshly made. One of the waitresses broke a glass and the manager gave our table free beer samples. The beer samples were rather nice of them to do. This made the overall experience perfect.

We had a strange experience with our check...it was one of things where the waitress (who was great) made a mistake and the manager wanted the waitress to take the 30$ out of her tip. I've not seen anything like that. Seems little novice as far as making it a smooth experience so 5 stars for the food and drink 0 stars for the management.

Not sure why I'm just learning of Brookland Pint, but the food is great! I went twice in a week (what can I say...I'm a FOODIE!). I went during happy hour the first time and LOVED their Brussel sprouts. I cant remember which burger I had, but it was DELICIOUS and the sweet potatoes fries/wedges are a MUST have! The 2nd time I went I tried the chicken and waffles and LOVED it. You cant go wrong with Brookland Pint.

This is only a food review, not rating the alcohol. The environment it's superb with hard wood finishes, rustic feels, and a certain modern appeal. The staff is friendly, and attentive. Near the end of the meal, I found myself lacking refills, but throughout the meal, I was well taken care of. I got the pastrami ruben which was fantastic! But the side of fries I got were under fried, and a bit soggy. I feel as though this was a small mistake, because I was the only person in my group that had fries like this. Overall, the restaurant is average. It was a good meal, but wasn't worth the 20 dollars I spent.

The burgers in this place are amazing. The meat is juicy and perfectly cooked and one can build their own burger, so that's great. The variety of beers is also huge and they serve some really good local brews. My favourites were the Astro lab CaCaowabunga and the Firewalker Parabola.

Went at a busy time on a Monday night so I knew I might wait a bit. Waited longer than I thought I should have in the end, and then had to wait even longer because my order was wrong (it was actually someone else's). The drinks were good. Best thing I had all night was the pulled pork nachos. SO delicious and tender. Definitely couldn't stop eating them and would HIGHLY recommend.

I was here for a dinner meeting. After going around in circles for 30 minutes just to find parking. It's always like that in DC fashion. I finally found parking at the kiss and ride Metro Station. We ordered the crab dip for an appetizer even though it was very delicious for four people, there could have been more dip to go around. And a little bit more crab meat in the dip as well. There was more cheese in the dip than crab. But you did get a hint of Old Bay, and crab. I had one of their build your own burgers. And that was the biggest burger I think I've ever had. I had to cut it in half and save the rest for later

Much like it's counterpart- Meridian Pint- it has some great burgers, drafts and sides. We've only sat in the bar area where you get your own drinks and order your own food, but it all goes pretty smoothly. Only once have we had an order come out wrong. It's a good place to swing by for a late night ale and a bite.

Good burgers, lots of beer. Note that not all the beer is served in pints. You can pay a pint price for 5 oz of beer. Restaurant fails in privacy of restrooms and supply of hand towels. Air dryers just don't cut it.

I've come to the Brookland pint a half dozen times and I've always enjoyed it. The honey Sriracha wings are great and the beer selection is phenomenal. Veteran friendly, hell just friendly in general, the staff is easy to chat and generous with recommendations.

The location is a bit hard to find parking nearby but inside it is even sleeker than Meridian Pint which I've been to countless times. I sat at the bar but the dining area was very nice from the look of it. Their beer selection is always impecable at either location and on my last visit they had a beer that you don't often see outside of the particular breweries more southern distribution market. I also got some chicken nachos off the happy hour menu and was very pleased. The staff was friendly and we chatted a bit about their whiskey selection which is small but very respectable.

Stayed in DC for four days and went here the times. All on separate days, we ended up going for lunch, dinner and brunch. The mimosas are delicious with fresh squeezed orange juice and their breakfast burritos are to die for. Their burgers are solid, ordered it medium and it was cooked perfectly. All this and the prices are reasonable. I'd give this place five stars but there was a hostesses the wasn't the most pleasant person. That said the wait staff and bar tenders were nice and attentive.

Great beer selection, reflecting the current America.n scene (half IPAs, half bold selections from stouts, sours, and so on). My service, though basically efficient, was lacking. None of the three bartenders who checked on me seemed remotely interested in whether I was a happy guest, and one was particularly uninspiring. A BBQ Cubano is an interesting idea but poorly executed. Was there any mustard at all? Why did the ham have no taste? Why was the Q 75% fat? Texas toast not a great choice, either - a Cubano needs some tooth to it. My biggest complaint was the sweet potato wedges, which were really just huge chunks of sweet potato that had been barely fried. Smaller wedges, and longer in the fryer, would give a crispy bite with just a bit of tender on the inside. So - good beer menu, interesting menu ideas, but overall not the greatest execution.

As a bartender, perhaps I am more scrutinizing than most, but the bar STUNK. It smelled like the mats hadn't been washed in days. I didn't get a drink, because I didn't want to imagine what filth was in the tap if they can't even wash their mats or clear their tables. Additionally, I watched the bartenders count their drawers and put the stacks of cash onto the bar mats. These are the same bar mats where the glasses are stacked face down! When our food came, the quality was average, but the lack of cleanliness and lack of concern from the staff left a bad taste in my mouth.

Seriously, either get a damn blacklight or get rid of that guy.

Brookland Pint is a small and cozy, but still lively, spot within walking distance of Catholic University. There are plenty of food options for all dietary needs (try the vegetarian nachos!) and a great beer selection with lots of choices from around the DMV. You can also do flights! There is more bar seating than tables/booths (though there are a handful) but in good weather the patio seating is nice. Come for any casual occasion and you'll have a great time!
