I LOVE Bon Chon chicken but this location is way too small and it takes FOREVER to get your food even if you call it in 30 min ahead of time. They just can not keep up with the demand. I have been to several other Bon Chon locations and never had this problem. Hopefully they can find a bigger location in the Herndon/Reston area. I will most definitely not be coming back to this one.

Food is great, as usual. Small dining area, would not recommend for groups over 6, maybe 8 max. Lunch special for wings and fries for $9 is a solid deal, but it takes some time for the wings to cook.

Great chicken, although the quality can be variable. Huge wings with juicy meat and crispy and chewy skin. The flavor profile is very Asian, so you'll still crave the occasional BWW, but place has amazing wings.

Very nice lunch. The flavored double fried chicken is excellant whether you get wings, drums, or boneless. Lunch h special portions are just right. The Kim chi coleslaw has a real kick. Highly recommend.

the garlic pot stickers are fantastic. small(10 decent sized strips) was a large enough portion size to feed me for lunch tomorrow. I got the strips+sweet and spicy. I'm looking forward to the next time i stop by to try other dishes. would recommend.

Great food and service. I ordered the chicken wings and edamame. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and the skin was light and crispy. I found out from the manager that all food is prepared fresh daily. They only buy enough for one day and hand prepare all servings. A truly enjoyable dining experience from a woman - managed small business.

I love BonChon BUT Herndon is the worst one I've ever been to. The taste is not on point. The chicken was overcooked, (especially strip)meat was too dried to chew it. My child spit it out because he could not chew it and we left almost 18pieces of 20..we are not going Bonchon in Herndon again.. waste money!

Pretty OKAY Asian-style fast food for: 1) unreasonable pricing ($8 for a side serving of fries!!!) and 2) unbelievably mediocre service! Carry out order made on Sunday June 9th. Left the restaurant with missing items. Called and spoke with manager on duty who told me to come back the next day WITH THE FOOD I had received for a refund or replacement since they were about to close. He also advised that next time I check my own bag for everything before I leave.Was so confused by this request and these comments I certainly did come back a minute before closing that same night and returned everything. My friend took a few bites out of his slider and it was garbage anyway. When I returned, manager gave a very disingenuous, half-hearted, AWKWARD apology.... Couldn't even make eye contact with me. He also thoroughly inspected the contents of everything I was bringing back as if to accuse me of being dishonest. As if this is what I wanted to spend my Sunday night doing drive and back forth from this place. He didn’t seem to care at all that he lost the sale or how dissatisfied I was. My impression here is management cares more about the bottom line than the customer experience. Dinner was ruined because one person in my party was missing his food and manager made no attempt to turn that experience around.

way too salty! spent $70 worth of chicken for my family and friends but they ended up picking out the skin and eating the meat off. even my american friends were saying the chicken was way too salty. they charge $2.25 for extra pickled radish and it is too small. it is the same size as they give out as service. and it was not even refrigerated.

Bonchon rarely disappoints. Did takeout, and it was fresh and ready when I got there (20 min), which is actually feels like a better wait then eating in.. Either way, Bonchon is always worth it.

Coming home with an other activity scheduled, I originally planned a Popeye's Chicken stop, but Bonchon was on the way home, and I thought my wife might find it interesting. First, it's not a fast-food restaurant, it's a sit down establishment that serves acholic beverages. I didn't know that. I ordered a mixes box of two types of chicken wings and legs, plus regular French fries to go. The order took about twelve minutes, which means it was fresh, but it took more time than I had originally allotted to the stop. My wife is not especially fond of Popeye's Chicken, and will even eat it reheated for a follow-on meal, but the Bonchon leftovers have been relegated to future meals for my consumption alone, which I will gladly enjoy.

Visited this place for the last time last Saturday. Aside from this being the first time I didn't enjoy my food, I was overcharged after the fact by almost double my order. They could not explain what happened or give me my money back. It was a struggle to even get proper conversation from the manager. Epic fail!

What happened?? I remembered when you went to a bonchon it was always prefaced with taking 40 minutes for the fried chicken cause it was double fried..it was a long wait but the chicken was juicy and the skin extra crispy. When we went this time, it came out tasting like it had been fried once long ago sitting under a heat lamp and deep fried again when ordered. You could tell it didn't look right. The happy hour deal is pretty good though if you want some cheap beer or mix drinks to go with the chicken but deals are only on drinks. The worst part about it though it was 85 degrees in the restaurant when we were there. It was middle of a heat wave but not the best feeling eating fried chicken while sweating. Hopefully AC gets fixed cause it was on but not working.

Disappointing - ordered bulgogi tacos to take out and there was maybe 2 tbs of bulgogi in each taco lots of shredded lettuce and a lot of sauce - I had these tacos at a bon chon in woodbridge and there was plenty of meat on top of a lettuce leaf with just the right amount of sauce - so I was very surprised to see such little meat at 13.95 for an order - it was not worth it.

Bulgogi was very good. I liked the bulgogi wrap, and bulgogi dinner. The wings are also delicious. I try wings at different places and these are very tasty. They are moist on the inside, crispy on the outside with a unique flavored hot/spicy sauce that is very delicious. I ordered take out, but when I arrived had no wait or quick service.

They have the best chicken that is not Popeyes. Choose your sauce and spice level and enjoy. Wait time is not too bad. In the old days the wait times to cook a batch of chicken was more than 40mins but they've got it down to about 15 to 20 mins. Beware that this is a saucy, fairly sweet fried chicken so it is far from a traditional southern fried chicken but enjoyable nevertheless.

Place is small and the service is quick. The french fries are great with the spicy mayo they serve. I got the 10 piece chicken strip meal, half regular and half spicy. The spicy is burn your mouth hot; at least for me it was. The regular was good. They do serve the food with radish, just like in Korea. Also just like in Korea, the servers only come by when you ask for assistance. The portions are huge and be sure to check the wall for specials, I didn't and ended up paying over $20 for lunch that I couldn't finish when they offer a lunch special for half the price.

I ordered bibimbap and it is NOT bibimbap. It was missing a lot of important ingredients, to include but not limited to fried egg, fermented spicy cucumber slices, bean sprouts, etc, and most importantly, sweet and spicy chili pepper sauce. And it had quinoa... like what the hell.

Place is cozy (or tiny depends on your outlook). The chicken is very crispy but the sauce was lacking. I can barely taste it. I guess I'm spoiled at Bonchon Arlington because that location gives free radish and rice, plus the restaurant itself is pretty nice. But in this location I had to pay for rice. And two dollars! Unbelievable. I guess I won't be coming back at least for this location.

Chicken was super crispy, highly recommend the garlic soy sauce flavor, the spicy is legit spicy so be prepared. Don't miss the pickled daikon it was a delicious way to cool down the spice of the chicken.

Great Korean BBQ chicken. Super spicy, and their other dishes are good too. If you're with a group, go ahead and just order a large plate of wings and split the bill, it's cheaper than getting individual dishes.
