I want to start this review by saying that this place wouldn’t stay open until this day without their employees, I have been here a few times and it’s always the same story, the food is ok, but it seems to be over price, their waiters are always very friendly but the owner is unprofessional and very rude. Believe me that if I could have found another Bolivian restaurant that would sell frozen Salteñas sooner I would have taken my business somewhere else a long time ago, luckily I found another place that I can get my frozen salteñas from (luzmary in falls church) and for my Bolivian food I rather drive the extra miles to go to el Pike restaurant in Arlington or to lusmilas cuisine just so I can get a better customer service and less over priced food Definitely I would not go back to Betty’s grill...

The salteñas are very good!!! They are spicy but not extremely. It is better to pre-order to make sure you can have them ready and on time. Only $3 each!!!! The service is excellent, free parking. Tables indoor and outdoor! Highy recommend it

Horrible customer service. I ordered food to go and when I opened it up in my car I was extremely cold. If I wanted cold food I would have gone to the supermarket and got frozen food. I didn't go to a restaurant to get cold food Never going back

Delicious food. I ordered pasteles, laping, charque... Soo scrumptious! Best Bolivian restaurant in loudon county. Waiter was very friendly and attentive. Food portion is plentiful, taste is fresh and seasoned in delight, nice and hot. Highly recommend if you're in the area and craving delicious food.

Betty's grill is a hidden gem. The food is authentic and they are known locally (and probably beyond) for their saltenas and beef equivalents. I've been there several times and the wait staff is great. Keep in mind if you go for lunch during the work day you may have to suffer through Latino soap operas during your meal but you can always focus on the soccer on the other channel or just try to ignore it all. Did I mention it's authentic. I'm tempted to drop a star because they don't have a free refills or a soda machine but the food is too good to knock it, and the young server guy who's been working there for at least a year now does a great job offsetting any ambiance issue.

I really like the food at this place. Very good Bolivian food. Delicious! However, the services is not so much. Prepare yourself for a long wait and less than attentive servers. If service is not a huge deal for you, you will love it. I deducted one star for lack of service.

I went with co-workers we order PIQUE, a traditional Bolivian plate, what we got was a slub of cooked onions and one cold egg with Rice. We decided to change the order because it was not the right dish. But an angry looking cashier who had no manners told us that we were stuck with that dish because that is how is served. I question him by telling him that I know what PIQUE looks like and taste like. He didn't even offered an apology nor he care about our complain, he ended up charging us for everything ! My co -workers and I were very disappointed and we are no longer going there, they lost our business because the management has no education and shouldn't be just there collecting money and no Customer service. Do not go there, it was a bad experience for our company. Try real Bolivian PIQUE somewhere else.

Bad experience, waitress come with spray and clean the table while I was sitting,sprayed all over me. Food is just simple, noting got me surprise on that. Prices are very high for what they offer. Including the tips in the check not good, I spend $30.00 with two brothers and charged me $10.00 tips, no way Jose. Not a good experience at all. Completely not recommend

Great place! Me encanto la empanada de queso, estaba súper rica! Lamentablemente el keperi Camba no me gusto. Tenía vinagre (estaba muy ácido) y el arroz con queso tenía sazón diferente. I speak very little Spanish and they speak very little English, though we could still get by well enough. I had a delicious entree which I've already forgotten the name of which was a breaded chicken breast over fries with two eggs on top and a side of rice. My friend had a few carne tacos and a salteña. The food is fantastic and the waitress was very accommodating. We also got 6 more salteñas to go, the total bill was absurdly low. Will definitely be going back!

Great place to get your saltenas fix! I really enjoyed their steak and their chicken saltenas. Both were super fresh and the crust that they use was slightly sweet and crispy. The filling was super savory, filled with well-cooked veggies and a chunk of a hardboiled egg. The meats were thick and juicy. Service was fast and efficient.

OMG!! I was blown away by how delicious the food is here! My lovely girlfriend is Bolivian & is a great cook. But when we feel like eating at a Bolivian restaurant, we USED to go with her family to a different well-known place here in Northern VA. To be honest, the food, decor, service & atmosphere at that OTHER place left me with a bit of a bad taste in my mouth (pardon the pun) about Bolivian food in general. But one day, we were shopping in Sterling, and on a whim, we decided to give this place - Betty's - a try. Thank God we did!!! Absolutely EVERYTHING we had was SO delicious! Everything from the bread they start you off with (get some extra to take home) to the appetizer (Saltanas) to the main course. I didn't get any dessert, because I was STUFFED & happy. Since that first time we went, we've gone back a few times, and even I'm surprised (and a little embarrassed) to say that whenever my sweetheart even mention's Betty's Restaurant, my mouth starts to water! lol My favorite & recommended courses include: The Lomo a la Chorrellana, The Milanesa de Pollo (or de Carne). My kids really liked the Pique a lo Macho (steak, hot dogs & fries mixed together). The carne asada is also freakin' incredible! I'm a well-traveled American who speaks Spanish. But it really doesn't matter where you're from. If you like good food at a decent price in a CLEAN environment, then this is a surprisingly great place to eat. Quick fun-fact: I was so taken with the food that I asked to meet the owner, Betty, personally, so I could thank her & give her a hug in a appreciation. I don't often do that. :) Eat at Betty's! You'll love it!
