This place has some hearty stuff for a higher price. If you dig sandwiches and burgers, they offer a slim variety with a number of flavors you can use. The wings, especially the boneless ones are the cornerstone to this place. This place is ideal for party-size combos and platters for swift delivery in the area.

Where do I start. Didnt think it was possible for a restaurant to make me feel worthless, but congratulations wings over Burlington on doing so. I ordered at 1130am and was told it would arrive at 500pm. I was also told I would receive a phone call prior to arrival to notify me, as I was at work. At 530 PM I tried to call and no answer. Here I am at 930 still trying to call, and await a good reason why it should take 10 hours to drive two miles down the road. Now the best part. I finally manage to figure out why. Apparently the manager decided under his own power that he was gonna cancel the order that I already paid for. He also failed to notify me about it as I found out from my coworker who also ordered and did not receive it. So here I am about 11 hours since my order and still no call or any sort of reasonable explanation as to why. So whoever the manager was tonight, you were successful in ruining my night, and making me go 13 plus hours without any food. I hope you feel good about not even being able to make a 20 second phone call at some point in the evening to let me know about what was going on. Wings over doesn't even deserve one star, however I'm unfortunately forced to give it to them so I can write this review. But if being treated like garbage and going hungry is what your looking for in a restaurant, than look no further than wings over Burlington! They'll be willing to provide such service everytime I promise.

I order around 3:30 2/3/19 and set the time for it to be here by 5:30-5:40. I still have not received my order and it is 9:22. I have tryed calling by after 7:30 there phones are disconnected. So no way to reach you guys to figure out what's going on! Worst service ever, I have no way to do a refund cause I payed by card.

Gotta love the f-16 15 wing dish made with RED ALERT wakens the senses, 'cruising altitude' might have been a less robust choice but to me red alert has minimal scorching aftertaste! Very hearty boneless wings as well, order in 1/2 lb increments! Nicely done wings! Breadsticks could be $1 or so less for the size and this horrendous economy! Thanks for keeping me filled with your tasty treats!

Placed an order online with them, then waited an hour for delivery, called them and was told my order had been cancelled because my address is outside their delivery area (I live 10min away), the manager spoke to me extremely rudely! I have had them deliver to me many times throughout the years and it was never an issue. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The wait can sometimes take longer than you would expect, especially if you order around 5-5:30. But they have some good chicken and a variety of flavors. I recommend a combo so you can pick a couple different flavors to try. Definitely a Friday night favorite.

Years ago I used to personally spend about $20 a week here. Every Friday the office would build up an order and we'd all chill out in the conference room and eat. We'd also get it (picked up or delivered) at least once a week at home. Gathering of friends would often throw down for a big order during our weekly gatherings. These days, however, there's disregard for their customers (for example, is it truly impossible to drop a piece of wax paper or foil between two flavors?!?) Their quality has been declining. They're now open for less than 8 hours a day (no more lunches.) Their delivery radius was reduced so they no longer reached my old apartment. Having tried to complain to the owner/manager I now understand that this collapse is being driven from the top. My friends and I have given up and sought out a more caring source of chicken delights. We won't be back unless there's "Under New Ownership" signs in the windows.

I felt obligated to write a review. The experience i've had with this place is just pathetic ( with the exception of some). I have ordered from this place over 20 times. About 12 of those times my orders showed up and they would forget my drinks every single time but instead of bringing them to me they would just give me credit. So, currently i have about $15 in credit just for drinks not being delivered. The last time i ordered they brought everything and I thought to myself "Oh great they are finally learning" until I noticed i was missing waffle fries, ingredients on a sandwich, chicken was broiled not fried and the thing they "specialize" in? the wings? Yeah those showed up, but they clearly were frozen and cooked to fast. They were rubbery, soggy and to top it off for some reason they had charred grill marks all over them. I have friends that use to work there and i've been told a majority of the staff get high while working and it's not sanitary there, at first I didn't believe them until I got my last order. You have to be high out of your mind to send someone their order in the state mine was in. And when I called they said it would be more convenient for THEM to just refund or credit me instead of fixing the order. They need to hire some competent individuals. And don't get me started on the business hours, 5pm? Really?. They lost a customer.

So yesterday me and my wife decided we wanted wings last minute before the game. We went at 4:30 and the place was packed. We placed our small order and decided to go shop around the area while we wait. We came back around a hour later and waited because the place was still packed. We witnessed many customers yelling and being outright obnoxious. The employees there were all working hard as they could to get out the crazy amount of orders, and the people at the counters were barraged with people upset about their orders, but handled it very calmly. I love the food here and seeing how well the employees took the crazy amount of orders and horrible customers makes me like this 10x more. Props to the employees.

Wings service has improved, now when they mess up my order they eventually send the rest of it (my kids food arrived about an hour after the rest of the order). They told me they would throw a complimentary waffle fry (with no flavor per my request) in to make up for it. The apology fries had a flavor my kids wouldn't eat. Without sarcasm I can say this an improvement over the service I received in the past.

If your lucky they will deliver all of your order. Then, if your luck hasn't run out you will be called a liar when you inform the manager that all of your order had not arrived. Then get promised there is another order out for you, and you wait..... and wait...... and wait..... until another hour passes and you call the store again. You are then informed the order is out for delivery and you wait..... and wait...... and wait...... until yet another hour passes and you get to speak with whom I can only imagine is some kind of hipster snowflake who tells you the order never existed in the first place. So you request a refund like any decent human being would do and you are then told you must go to the store and give them your card because they have to do it manually. Never got the food, had to go to the store defeating all purpose of delivery and was called a liar while being lied to with no intention of remedying the error. If you like unpredictability and unprofessionalism then this may be just the place for you, just not for me.

The food is really hit or miss. It's either the best wings I have ever had or shoe leather. You can't pay for pickup online only delivery but they pretty much only deliver on dorset st and UVM now. And even with their .25 mile delivery radius it still takes about an hour and a half for your order to arrive. Go to Buffalo Wild Wings, save yourself the trouble.

Pretty disappointed with the hot sauce. If you're going to market yourself as a wing joint and your hottest sauce, after burner, tastes about as spicy as a banana, you need to get out of the business. Seriously, that stuff is so mild my kids can eat it. Putting dried chili peppers in your wing sauce does not make it hot. Use actual hot peppers, please.

My husband and I order regularly for our family as a "fun" dinner option together and by regularly, I mean about 2-4 times a month. We generally have wonderful service and I order online for both delivery or pick up depending on the night. Tonight, we ordered an order of wings, a small boneless wing salad, and fries. Having never had an issue, my husband goes ahead and brings home the food only for me to find out there's no wings in my salad at all despite us having paid for them and it clearly being on the receipt. So my husband drives all the way back to have it fixed and while the person up front was understanding about it, the cook in the back looks at my husband and very rudely proclaims that he's "keeping track" as if my husband is attempting to get free food out of them. Perhaps if their cook had been "keeping track" of the order it wouldn't have been messed up in the first place resulting in two trips out and back for my husband. Food is great but if we have this issue again, we will be finding a new take-out location.

So I’m visiting Vermont from Ohio and wanted some good food that was in the area of my hotel. I placed an online order and headed to pick it up. To my surprise the location was closed yet still had employees on the inside that watched my boyfriend and I at the door knocking. Wings over has pretty good food and excellent customer service. We’ve ordered here a lot over the past few years and never really had an issue. The last time we ordered from here our order was incorrect. We called, just to let them know we received the wrong order. Wasn’t really looking for our money back or anything but the GM gave us a credit for the entire order. He didn’t have to do this but it’s very much appreciated! The food is 4/5 but I’ll give them the 5/5 for great service!

I called and they admitted the mistake but would not adjust my purchase, instead offering to give a credit for my next purchase. They saved a few bucks and lost a customer. Only reason it's not 1 star is because delivery driver was courteous.

The wings and fries are great. The service is another story. There is no "extra mile" with this crew, they, most of the time, dont even do the bare minimum. The biggest issue that they REFUSE to fix, and after working in the restaurant business for years I know from experience that it is an EASY fix, typically just a phone call. Here is the issue, which has been brought to their attention multiple times. We live on the same road as Wingsover Burlington(Dorset Street). They have online ordering available, however you CANNOT enter a street address. The system will let you type it, but it wont populate the street, which needs to happen to push the order through. I have tried multiple streets and nothing populates. I have tried different computers, nothing. The reason the online ordering is a big deal for us is because the staff at the Burlington, VT location is awful. Rude, forgets things within the order and them blames it on the "system" or customer error. Not only that, when we have brought up this issue we have dealt with some ridiculous responses from being hung up on to being told it works just fine or that nobody else has ever complained. It is frustrating and honestly complete laziness. Since this is an issue we have gotten used to we order pickup. This truly is a pain because while waiting for our food in the "restaurant" you can hear everything that is said at the counter and on the line in the kitchen. The girl who is usually behind the counter is so rude and the profanity that comes out of her mouth is truly disgusting. She treats the other employees like garbage and isnt much better with customers. She acts as if us ordering food is inconvenient to her. I get that people swear and curse, hell, I do too. My wife and I arent bashful people, but the things she says to her coworkers and what she says about customers after she hangs the phone up is so wildly unprofessional I cannot believe she is employed. They must go through kitchen staff and drivers very quickly, I wouldnt put up with being talked to like that. Finally, with the computer system and online ordering being so shoddy, the delivery drivers are losing out on ten orders a night. The only saving grace is that the wings and fries are pretty good and priced well. Other than that, this place is in need of a major overhaul and from the other reviews I can tell it starts with ownership/management. ***UPDATE*** my wife and I decided to give this place one more chance. Definitely the last chance. Ordered wings and fries. They were out of fries. One of the most redeeming qualities is the fries. So we just got wings. I ordered 15, one of the denominations that they come in. Also ordered extra sauce in the event they screwed up again. I received 12 wings, because counting is hard, not only were they unsauced, they were heavily undercooked. This place is an absolute mess. The workers are obviously not interested in doing even a halfway decent job. Order from chicken Charlie's if you are looking for your order to be made correctly. After reading the DOZENS of unanswered reviews about all the awful food and service its pretty clear ownership cares less than the useless employees that work here. All we expected was for the employees be able to count to 15, cook the wings until the timer goes off and then put sauce on the wings, because lets face it. When you order buffalo wings, half of the ingredients are in the title. We got wings, hardly cooked with no buffalo sauce on them.

Have not been there for a while as we have moved away. So we back in town ordered out and I ordered a puddle jumper which is supposed contain 10 wings and I arrived back at where I was staying there was only 7 wings..The large order of fries looked more like a very small portion. Since counting to 10 should not be difficult.. We will not be returning. My advice is check your food before you leave with your take out.

When i called the restaurant and asked them what heat levels they offered, they told me it's based on a 5 tier heat scale. I love spicy food but wasn't sure what their 5 was. I've taken the blazing challenge at buffalo wings wings and have to say that I'm glad i only went with the 4. Great flavor and not overcooked. I ordered these for delivery and was pleasantly surprised to find out that 15 bone in wings plus delivery was only $15! I saw the 3 star rating here on Google and was sure I'd be disappointed. Couldn't be further from the truth.

You'll get a message describing their business hours which basically reassures you they're open for another 120 minutes... doesn't mention why THIS Thursday, say, they didn't make it. Food is pretty greasy and god help you if you order anything other than meat.

Beware of ordering from this place. Actually the food is okay. If you order for delivery you need to check your order before paying. They seem to have a problem getting the order right.. I ordered a hamburger and although I got a hamburger they got all the condiments wrong. Also, I was charged $2.36 tax for a $16.00 order. I've ordered three times and twice the order was wrong. Check the order before you pay.

I’ve been ordering from them since the very beginning and have always loved there food. They’ve always had weird hours but worked with it. I recently just placed an order to only find out they basically raised all there prices by a good amount. Just wasn’t expecting that they didn’t update there online menu for the prices. Kind of bummed cause I consider my self a frequent flyer here. And there prices are now a little high. Clear the owner is having some problem seeing how they just opened for lunch hours and are jacking the prices up.

I have always enjoyed Wings Over Burlington. My friend has never tried WOB so we ordered for delivery. She got the 'Full Boneless Caesar Salad'. I spent the 40 minutes we waited for our food to arrive talking up the "amazing chicken". The greasy black bag gets to the door and I tip well like I always do. We excitedly sit down and start ripping in to the bag. She pulls out her flimsy black styrofoam box and opens it. We look down at the sad excuse for a salad and stare in silence. Looking back at us is a bunch of iceburg lettuce, the ends wilting and brown. a few strings of cheese and about 6 croutons. $8.99 for what looks like the left over scraps for the night. NO CHICKEN. I immediately call and after waiting for 10 minutes on hold while a manager is tracked down, I am told that they can send me a piece of chicken but it will be about 30 minutes... or I can have a $3.00 coupon applied to my phone number for the next time i call.... Had them send the chicken out.Did not even get an appology. I was asked, "Wow you really want us to send you the chicken?". Took over an hour and we get the smallest, coldest, dried out piece of nasty fried chicken I have ever seen. Thank you for the leftover scraps out of the trash you tossed together. I don't know if there is new management but it seems like a bunch of morons work there now.

So I ordered wings from here they brought the wrong ones so I had the driver call in on my phone to tell them he was supposed to bring them right back. Well an hour and ten minutes went by so I called the girl that answered the phone said I need to come get them. Really i called for delivery. The only thing I asked from was the right sauce and a new order of onion rings so they would be hot and even offered to send the old ones back so they know I didn't rest them. So now I'm sitting here two hours later still no food and no results. Wow don't use this place what a mind boggle how they are still in business

I've found myself disappointed more often than not recently whenever I order from Wings Over. Their chicken, for a fast food place, used to be delicious. Now it's usually bone dry and hard to bite into much less chew and swallow. Half the time whichever flavor I order is barely sauced and I may as well have ordered plain boneless wings. It's one of my favorite chains, so I often forget how bad the food is and order only to be disappointed and still hungry an hour later. Not to mention fifteen dollars poorer for the smallest meal they have. Wish they would offer something smaller than a hanger 1. When whoever runs the kitchen figures out how to cook chicken without over-killing it, I'd be smitten over this place again.

I've ordered from these people for nearly three years, and I've noticed a consistent decline with how they handle orders. My last order about two weeks ago got lost due to a technical problem which I was okay with, my account got double charged, and they told me I was given 10 dollars in, in-store credit. I call today to use that credit to find out that it was never put in. Even though it's only 10 dollars, many of my friends have also had money issues with this company. One of my friends yet got double charged by the delivery driver. Bottom line, don't trust them to follow up with in-store credit.

We're big fans. Wings Over Burlington is our go-to delivery for a family of 5 with three teens. 2lbs of boneless wings goes a long way around here and is one of the most affordable options around. LOVE the beer-battered onion rings. Delivery staff is awesome and go out of their way to do a good job.

Have ordered several times. Wings are good. I personally like to get plain wings, and dip them in sauce myself. My only major complaint is with the Waffle Fries. They are put into a Styrofoam container in a black plastic bag. By the time we got them, they were drenched and soggy from the condensation.

Worst service ever, I ordered food at 11 am to be delivered at 5 pm. At 8:30 I received a call saying they were on their way. 3 and a half hours late, so I told them I wasn’t going to pay for it and they decided not to bring it but didn’t call to tell me. So I called a couple minutes ago and they informed me they weren’t bringing it. Terrible service, poor management, not even worth the 1 star I was forced to give.

If I could give less I would.. Wings decided to spontaneously close 4 hours early due to (and I quote) “excessive orders”. The genius staff decided the next step was to stop answering the phone so any customers waiting for their food (which I was charged for) would be waiting anxiously with no answers. Online ordered for pickup a small one person meal. I waited 30 min and received an email status update that the wings were ready for pickup. I left work and 15 minutes later I arrived. I was told it would be “a few minutes”. I waited for 30 minutes until I stood in line again (they stopped acknowledging I was even there despite the waiting area being directly in front of the cashier field of view). The food being still not ready, i had run out of break time for this self described “fast food” fix and had to ask for a refund and leave with no dinner. The refund never arrived. And when it comes down to the food I think Chicken Charlie’s across the street tastes 100x better and they don’t waste your time

Been ordering here for several months now. Called at 11pm told my food would be there by 12 it wasn't called at 12:15, was told my food will be there by 1 it wasn't. BTW they charged my card and never bothered to call my cell phone. Their excuse was the driver couldn't find the place????? Only gave 1star because I could give 0

I am a wing fanatic and was very disappointed when I tried the Afterburner sauce. It is supposed to be their hottest, but it was mild at best. The wings were okay. Well cooked. Tender. Not dry at all. But not crispy. And the sauce was so lame. I ordered the regular fries and they were flavorless and dry. The service was okay, but considering it's not table service and it comes in disposable boxes that I'm expected to throw away myself, I find the desperate pleas for tips on all the signage a bit weak. Just typing my order into a computer, calling out my name and handing me a box of food shouldn't justify a tip. Seriously. Maybe the other sauces are good, but I'm only interested in heat and any place that claims to specialize in wings should have a hot sauce on the menu that is made with, at a minimum, habaneros.

Horrible experience. Dont waste your time or money. We called ahead and placed an order, arrived 30 minutes later and food was not ready. After waiting for another 20 minutes in the VERY unclean dinning area we checked in on our order and the cashier notified us that they had forgotten our order altogether. We asked for our money back and left very disappointed.

I've been going to various Wings Over locations since college and I was a bit hesitant to try Burlington's after the reviews. However, I gave them a shot since I'm no longer near one anymore. I thought they were fantastic. The boneless wings are better (like other locations) and the flavors were great. I ordered in person in the evening with a couple friends. It was dead, so service with quick and the food was out in twenty minutes. I was even surprised. Maybe this place falls apart under pressure? Regardless, I had a great meal with friends and would recommend.

This place has turned into a dump. The people working there are unfriendly, very unprofessional and the food quality is disgusting. I was watching my aunt's house in SB, took 50 minutes to deliver because " he couldn't find the address" once (Gavin, my delivery driver) got to my location he started to get aggressive and start to blame me for telling him the wrong address, even though it was right. He then just left the food on his hood and got in his car when I didn't leave him a tip. 0/0. This place used to be amazing, now it's horrible.

We used to order frequently from wings over in college and it was always a bit of a wait, but totally worth it. Ordered tonight at 5:48pm, estimated delivery for 6:25, said delivery occurred at 6:33- no food. Called asking what the deal was at 6:45- the driver had apparently brought our food and did not deliver it, so it was back in the kitchen (note: we received no phone call from the driver). Person on the phone said it was coming now. 7:30- still no food. We live about 5 minutes away. Food finally arrived at 7:40. Whatever is happening there now is unacceptable and I am sad to see it is happening to several other people as well. Manager claimed we would get a refund at least.

All year round this a great place to get some of the best wings you'll find in Vermont. Open late for drunken munchies, and now early for lunch. However, they desperately need to manage their orders on superbowl sunday differently as it hurts their reputation and overall business model to be promising hundreds of orders at the same pickup time. I get that the more orders they promise theres more potential profit to be made, but when theres a room full of angry customers that look like they're ready to start a riot, that's a bad look for a business. To anyone who understands business ethics, the cost of your reputation isn't worth a couple hundred dollars of profit on one specific day of the year. And if you think it is, somebody could easily win over your customers if they started their own local wings delivery restaurant. It happens at a specific time too. The closer it gets to the start of the game, the more of a warzone Wings Over becomes. There's a pretty easy solution to this problem, which involves figuring out their maximum output of food in a given bracket of pickup time (every 10 or 15 minutes, such as 5:00, 5:15) and then once they've reached capacity for that time bracket, have the computer block it off and move onto the next available bracket. This will prevent a room crowded with angry customers yelling at the staff as they await an order that was promised to them to be out an hour ago. Not to mention the several orders for people who weren't even in the room, or how I got my order after 40 minutes while I heard two girls complaining about being there for an hour and a half. They were inciting their boyfriends to act more violent towards the staff, and the last thing anyone wants is a national news story about angry customers attacking employees at a wings joint over absurdly late orders. The fanchise owner needs to step their game up on the day of the big game if they wanna retain customers. Even simply being present at your store while your poorly managed staff hecticly struggles to put orders together and deal with an angry mob of customers, for something they have no control over. The poor staff took all the heat for something that should be blamed on the owner. I lose respect for places like that. I would love to see this place continue to serve delicious food to their community, but this needs to be fixed.

First time, took a little time to decipher the menu, Boneless is by pound, which was good quantity.... Food was good, saw complaints about fries, they were seasoned with salt.... Guys were friendly, explained things well.

Whoever sets their hours needs to realize how much business they are losing by not opening earlier on weekends. What kind of "wings" place doesn't open until 5pm on Saturdays? There are still NCAA football and NCAA basketball games being played on Saturday. Not to mention they are in a busy plaza directly across from the University Mall. Hello? Christmas shoppers? Holiday business? Money? Is anybody listening? They lost at least three groups of customers in the short time it took me to walk up to the door to read the hours. Two other groups walked up while I was reading and asked "are they open?" Nope. It's 1:30pm on a very busy shopping day and they're closed. Pathetic.

After trying them out we got all excited about having a decent rib place that delivers. We were happy the first few deliveries and then things changed and the food started coming cold or worse charred and cold. The very last time not even eatable. We gave them 3 more tries ( Yes, we were idiots) NEVER AGAIN! We tipped well so that wasn't the problem. There is NO EXCUSE for food to come in that manner EVER!

Website says they are open until 1 am I call at quarter to 11, guy answers "pick up or delivery. " I place my order and ten minutes later some female employee calls me from her personal phone asking if I was on my way because they are closing. I had someone else picking up the order which they we're in route to get. I called the number to the business and not the personal number that called me and he again answers with "pickup or delivery. " I asked why he would be taking orders of they are in such a Yank to close at 5 of 11 pm. He stated he wasn't told they we're closing.... I didn't find this place very professional what so ever and I am not likely to order through them again.

just brutal. food is poorly cooked, cheap, trash. makes me feel sick about half-way through. the service is also poor whether on the phone or waiting for delivery. its clear the owners are only concerned about making money and nothing else. about once every 3 months i order from here pretending it might taste good, but it never does.
