Absolutely amazing pizza, buffalo chicken ranch is spot on. Probably the best buffalo chicken pizza I have had. Tons of flavors, spicy, crispy crust, sauce, chicken and cheese are made perfect, hours later even cold it was insanely good. I recommend letting it cool down before chowing dosn, let's the flavor come through. Better than NYC pizza I have had. We will be back. Wow.

This was okay. There was a pretty open restaurant but we were sat in a weird corner. I would not have minded so much but they then stuffed a table of elderly people next to my seat who blocked me in with a walker and the way they were sitting. They were a nice group, it just wasn't comfortable. I felt this was more inconsiderate of the staff then the other patrons. Sangria was okay, didn't have a lot going on, just tasted like cold wine. Service was kind of slow for what we ordered and when we wanted to leave. Was better a few years back. I suppose this is a nice stop though if you are traveling back and forth to Canada.

Wonderful food. My niece and myself split the homemade mac and cheese and a Caesar salad. My brother had pizza which he thoroughly enjoyed. His wife had a seafood sampler on special. My nephew had the French onion soup. All agree the food is great, the portions just right and the atmosphere casual. A great place to dine!

This place was awesome! It was mine and my fiance's first time eating here and we will definitely return! Our waitress Tracey was phenomenal. Not only her but the other waitstaff that helped were amazing as well. The food was fresh and delicious. Never had to ask for a refill on our drinks and the wait time for food was very reasonable. I highly reccomend this place to anybody looking for a semi fancy night out. Prices were on the higher end but you most certainly got the bang for your buck!

They don't deserve to have Pie in their name, by far the worst pizza I've ever eaten and extremely over priced. Dough as thin as a cracker, no flavor in the sauce. For having such an amazing wood fire oven, it's a damn shame they would cook such awful pizza in it. I suppose I am from Italy, but that was disgusting.

I recommend this place. It's good for singles or families with a large bar and restaurant area. Friendly staff that seemed to know everyone. Try the Vermont Maple salad. Real lettuce and fresh everything for $14. Pizza was good. On a scale of zero to 10 (New York slice), I'd give it an 8. Kid friendly

First visit and we like it. Wife got the shrimp scampi and said it was quite good. I ordered a blackened chicken Alfredo which was different than expected, but after a few bites, I began to really like it. There was enough of each that we took the leftovers home for dinner. Service was good. If we are in Derby again, it is on our list.

Disappointing service. Disappointing food. One of the workers was sitting at a table with friends while we waited for a server, food, water, etc. A lot of waiting and it wasn’t busy at all. We almost left without paying because nobody would serve us. Came for pizza and was disappointed. Tomatoes weren’t cut and were not fully ripe. Food was cold and undercooked and the restaurant was empty. And there wasn’t any cheese on the pizza

We found the back ground music enjoyable hank jr. Waitress was pleasant. Food was really good except my shrimp scampi was a little skimpy only 3 shrimp and i had it prepared grain free they could have added a little more vegetables for me but i would go back and will.

Wood fired pizza is delicious. Ingredients are fresh and the specials are always amazing. Prices are a bit higher then you would expect on some of the dishes, but you will always have a good meal. They have a great drink selection and their menu isn’t overwhelming. Good place to go for a date, or just to relax and watch the game at the bar.

This place surprised me. The pizza was pretty good, but the total package of the place had me sold. There was live music when we went and it was quite good. Their bread and menu as a whole is also solid. Lastly, they have a nice cocktail menu.

We went back up to Newport to grab a good pizza from this place. The first visit was super friendly welcoming etc. Our second visit wasn't so much. Food was not bad but our waitress at the time gave us diet soda and when we said something she took it back and brought the same ones back. We said this is still Diet and she swore up and down it was regular. Whatever. We ordered water. We will visit again give it a 3rd try since we enjoyed the pizza that's why it's a 4 star it had a gloomy atmosphere that day

Okay italian place. Somewhat pricey. I find their food to be average. They do have some good choices for dessert and have the hill farm stead beers on tap. Plenty of parking and easy to spot from the road. I have heard their specials are good. They also do paint and sip nights. I have always had fantastic service. Very nice and helpful.

What an amazing find! We stopped there to grab lunch on our way back from Canada. Did not realize it was such a huge place, must have seating for almost 200! Now the food, we ordered garlic bread for starters and almost ended up reordering it as main course too! Thin crust, perfect combination of parmesan and garlic, baked to perfection in wood fired oven - amazing. Next came the pizzas, again, perfectly balanced sauce, cheese and toppings made for a lovely meal. And finally, desserts to round off the meal. And last but not the least, our server Aliza was awesome, gave us great suggestions and fabulous service. A must visit for pizza lovers!

This is an elegant place with a classy atmosphere. Very upscale with novel menu items that you won't find elsewhere. Pizzas are thin crust and brick oven baked. The pasta is excellent. A bit pricey for the area but a great place for eating and drinking with a full bar.

Pizza was great, as were the buffalo wings. Salad was a big portion with real lettuces, not iceberg. When sitting in the pub area you need to order for yourself at the bar, but they do serv you and are very accommodating with changes to the food if they can, ex swap cheese and nut types in the salad. Very friendly staff, but busy.

If I had to pick out a negative point it would have been the price of the food pretty pricey. dinner and a couple of drinks ran us 90 bucks with tip but the food was excellent and so was the service. If you're looking to take your wife to a nice place you can't go wrong here.

Vermont Pie & Pasta Company is a decent restaurant that has a very friendly staff. Despite their name, they don't just carry pizza and pasta. They have seafood, poultry, steak, burgers and sandwiches which are pretty decent. The food and beverages are usually served from the kitchen to the table in a timely manner. They have good selection of beer, wine and spirits which are pretty decent. I would advise against consuming beer on tap because their tap system doesn't keep the beers from kegs cold. They pour beer in frosty glasses which is technically the incorrect way of serving beer. Frosty glasses causes beer to foam and go stale which is what craft beer fans hate. Beer should always be served cold straight from the bottle, can or tap system. They need a better tap system that would keep beers from the kegs cold. I would advise that you order beer from the bar in cold bottles or cans. Overall, this is a decent restaurant to stop in for lunch or dinner on your way to and from Quebec. It is right off I-91 in Derby Center, Vermont on US-5/VT 105 and you can't miss it.

After driving up from MA on our way to Canada; we literally "tripped" over this restaurant. We didn"t want Pie or Pizza. We decided to take a look. We were so surprised!! Food was great, drinks very generous and service warm and welcoming. We will stop here again on our next trip which should be December. A real gem.

Great atmosphere and the best shaved steak sandwich I've had in my entire life. The staff was friendly and helpful even though we had a fairly large group for a business lunch. The service was prompt and everything came out great. When I'm back in the area I plan on returning to try the smoked Gouda Mac and cheese.
