We went as a family to this restaurant, once we got in we realized this is more of a fine dining experience. I was easily able to book reservations through google which was nice. This place is very fancy but I wouldn't consider it very kid menu friendly. I had a very good seafood stew while my wife had a pasta dish. The food was delicious and you certainly pay for it. The downside was that I ended up having to scarf down all the bread to end up with a full stomach. Their on-tap beer selection is limited but they did have great quality craft VT beers. I would say overall it was worth going to but the next time we are in Burlington we would consider it a date night type of place.

Our server, Jordan, was one of the best. I now have a new favorite wine because of his suggestion. The food was authentic and delicious. The atmosphere was cozy. My husband and I had a wonderful dinner.

The Trat cannot be improved upon. The menu highlights cuisine from across Italy and features broad, innovative choices for each course. The wine list has a very good selection across price points and the staff is very helpful matching wines to the meal. Dining in this cozy, dimly-lit room surrounded by the low murmur of other patrons makes every visit an excellent experience.

I was expecting a fine dining experience, but it was not. The food was tasty and in large portions, but a bit on the pricey side ($60+ per person for salad, entrée, wine but not dessert). I got the short rib dish, but they messed up the order (I asked to substitute veggies for the potato). It was awhile before I could get the attention of the waiter, who took the whole dish back to the kitchen but it then took 30 minutes to get my correct meal, and by that time all my dining companions were done. Then the waiter made no apologies and had the nerve to tell me he removed the charge for the veggies on the bill (he never said there was a charge for the substitution in the first place). My companions enjoyed their meals, however (a salmon dish and a pasta dish). Lots of construction outside and metered parking a block away. I would not return.

I had an exquisite meal here. The carpaccio is beautifully seasoned and shaved perfectly thin. Because I couldn’t decide on which pasta to get, the waiter suggested half orders of two- an excellent decision that I highly recommend. Perfect gnocchi with braised wild boar? Amazing. Squid ink pasta topped with amazing seafood? To die for. Definitely worth every penny!

Best Italian spot in town. Been going here since 2008 when I first got to Burly and absolutely love it. The filet mignon is my go to dish and I clean the plate every time. Excellent pasta too (although everything they make is amazing). Cozy/warm atmosphere and very nice staff. A bit pricey but totally worth it. Haven't been since the new owners took over, but hopefully they kept the menu and chefs the same - I think they said they would in an article.

Can you give 6 stars? This place is incredible. Some of the best high-end Italian food I've ever eaten. I had the Pasta all’Amatriciana and it was literally perfect. I wanted 2 portions. The guinciale was perfectly cooked - crispy, light, and sweet. Better than nearly all Italian restaurants in Italy, NYC, Boston, Atlanta, etc. Really terrific food, and simple, quick service. Great salad, bread, and Chianti also. Incredible. Don't change a thing!!

Traditional "middle-of-the-boot" Italian fare presented in a classy establishment. With an atmosphere that makes the heart pine for Manhattan, Trattoria Delia's professional and courteous waitstaff, impeccable cuisine, and upscale decor contribute to an experience that one simply cannot pass up. My only complaint is that while the building is definitely wheelchair accessible, and the staff helpful and understanding, the tables have a crossbar that renders them nearly unusable for wheelchair users.

I've always gotten good service when I've gone here. The atmosphere is very calm and the music adds to the peacefulness of it. The food is great, too. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the price tag that goes along with eating here.

I went here last night for my birthday dinner because I've heard good things about this restaurant. When I asked about their menu the waiter laughed in my face and recommended a fast food place up the street. I was very offended so I got up and left, took his advice to go elsewhere but i ended up at Pascolo which IS the best Italian food in town.

This place was amazing, it was comfy and the staff was very friendly. Regarding the food, the figs, wrapped in bacon with goat cheese, was the best plate, hands down; the pasta was also very good and will fill you up in no time. Things I would improve: 1.- between appetisers and main course took a while. Would I come back: definetly!

Had a very enjoyable time. Didn’t know that the place was more of a button up shirt type of restaurant but that doesn’t really matter. The rabbit was excellent and profiterole dessert was absolutely delicious. Only thing I didn’t enjoy was the watermelon salad but that was more preference than anything else. Overall had a great experience and would highly recommend.

Had our anniversary dinner here but have been going here on and off for ten years. Every time I go I leave with feeling extremely satisfied. Beyond the food, which is amazing, the service is thoughtful and impeccable. We were waited on by 4 different staff, and somehow there was no communication issues between them. Truly remarkable and a sign that the staff are experienced and able to make a real living. Also at the mention of the fact that it was our anniversary, two glasses of Prosecco on the house!

It was love at first sight. The atmosphere is so warm and authentic feeling. The lighting is just right and makes for a cozy experience. It's nearly impossible to chose what dish you will enjoy for the evening, but surely know that each dish is an experience of amazing flavors, and excellent quality... while every bite is a little trip to Italy! Prices are super reasonable and even for the extensive wine list there are very reasonably priced/well-rated bottles for all budgets. Living just 'across the pond' (Lake Champlain) in the Adirondacks, Trattoria Delia always offers a memorable meal for a special trip to Burlington. I highly recommend this restaurant for anybody looking for a romantic or special dinner.

Great Italian restaurant in downtown Burlington! The menu ranges from classic dishes of Northern and Southern Italy, to wonderful chef creations based on the classic ingredients. Daily chef specials are exciting and rarely a miss. Delia also has one of the best Italian wine lists you will come across anywhere outside of NYC. Best of all, the ambience in the dining room just below street level is marvelous for either a business dinner or a romantic date night. Absolutely love this place.
