Amazing meatballs. Great service. At 5:30 p.m. on a Friday we were asked if we had a reservation (we did not) but we were seated anyway. But 20 minutes later, we heard people being seated at the bar only because reservations were about to come in. So plan accordingly. Everything was great. Service above reproach.

Best pizza I've had in the Rutland area since moving from Philadelphia area over a year back. I'm very picky about my pizza, and this is one of the closest I've had to my Italian mother's homemade pizza. Couldn't be happier to discover their pizza.

This place has a nice homie feel to it. Clean the servers are friendly and pretty and right on top of their jobs the food is good and perfect prepotions I would definitely recommend it to any one staying in the area.

Palms was a nice cozy Italian restaurant. on Friday night though you probably need a reservation. when we arrived at 5:15 there were multiple Empty Tables but we barely got a table as a walk in. I noticed several people that came in after it had to be seated at the bar. I got the manicotti and meatballs it was really good. my wife got the tortellini and it was only okay.

"In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king". Relatively speaking, a good Italian restaurant. Really great service, and a good value. Sorry, I should say EXCELLENT service here, good people. The marinara was not great and the chicken entrees were too "thick" but not bad overall.

The food is always great here. I love their specials such as the shrimp Alfredo. The atmosphere is very nice. The service is fast. They bring bread with roasted garlic which is a nice touch.

The Palms was only OK. The food was decent for the price, but nothing special. The music did not fit the decor and ambiance at all - hearing Aerosmith in there made me laugh. Needs a good top-down cleaning. In my mind the restaurant had a bit of an identity crisis - do they want to be upscale or casual?

5 stars may be a bit much for this place, but it definitely surprised us. The decor is a bit tacky, but, this Rutland, not a center of sophistication. The food was quite good, and the service was great. Very low key and comfortable.
