I had a terrible experience here. When my friend and I got to the restaurant we were waiting on one other friend who was less than five minutes away. They would not seat us until the other friend had gotten here. They told us "all feet must be on the ground in order to be seated" I have never had this experience at a restaurant and was very disappointed they made us stand around. Little did we know, this was only the beginning. Once we were seated, we waited 25 minutes until the waitress came over to take our order. We even needed to ask to have someone take our order. The waitress also never came to take our drink order. Once the food came, our waitress did not come once to ask how the food was or to refill water cups. Worst of all, the chicken from my dish was completely RAW. It took 20 more minutes until we could get someones attention. We told the hostess (because our waitress was not paying attention to us whatsoever) and she did not even say sorry and just told us to tell the waitress. She said "this wasn't something that she dealt with," finally, when the waitress came over we told her about the chicken and she did not say sorry either, she just took the dish from us. Thankfully, she took off the chicken dish from the check. Otherwise, this was a horrible experience. I do not recommend this restaurant at all. I am just hoping I don't have food poisoning tonight. I tried to attach a picture of the RAW chicken, but this website did not let me do so.

The New American Grill is a good place for lunch or dinner. Its quieter and more intimate than its neighbor, Jake's. I recommend the stir fry options on the menu. Excellent quality and quantity, with choices of protein. None of the choices is more than $20. Our favorite place for dinner in Londonderry.

A great little spot with an amazing menu selection. I had the Clam Chowder and the Steak and Fries. Both delicious, but the latter a huge hit perfectly cooked flank steak on a bed of love I know as "Poutine" - fries, cheese and gravy. Yum.

IF Amber is one of the servers, RUN OUTSIDE NOW! We ate there during our annual vaca 10-8-15. Hubby had soup and seafood entree which looked as good as it tasted, said he. ME? I ordered a classic salad, $7.99. He had diet soda and I had H2O. Amber was our server. She literally PLOPPEd down our food and immediately walked away. WHOA! I had a Greek Salad in front of me... feta chz, dark olives... etc. I looked fer Amber and she was standing at the rear of the resturant casualy talking w/ the bartender. I called her name 3 times, yes... getting slightly louder each time. She finally turned around and ON THE WAY to our booth loudly said "You were YELLING for me?" (?whattheheck?) I said I was NOT yelling but the order was wrong. She reviewed her notation and grab the salad away. Amber returned w/ the correct salad w/o an apology! When we asked for the check, Amber put it on the table... upon review, I saw the "Greek Salad" was listed and again Amber was "hanging out" w/ the bartender. I called her again THREE times and again she came to our booth saying LOUDLY "You are yelling for me again?" I pointed out the error on the check and her reply was "Well, that Greek Saad is only one dollar MORE than the one you ordered." (WHAT?) I had to ASK for the correction... One place we will NEVER visit again is this resturant... Sad to say but the food was excellent, tasty, salad fresh... but NOT as fresh as our server! Tah tah, good-bye!

My girlfriend and I came here after a day of skiing. Although the prices are on the high side (and I'm from NYC), the food was all really good. I ordered quesadillas which were filling and cooked well and she ordered curry, which was surprisingly good. They gave us lots of really good bread when we asked for it and the waitress was really nice

Friendly local place to go with the family or for a lunch stop. Staff are very courteous and the food is really good for the Vermont countryside. Its not always easy finding tasty food in less populated areas, but this particular restaurant apparently benefits from its proximity to ski areas. Thus, some off season people (ski bums?) help to make for good employment choices.

This place was pretty awful. If it was half as expansive as it is (everything is 10-30 dollars), then it would get a 3 star review. The only thing keeping it from a 1 star review was that their hamburger itself was OK (I like the bun mostly) and I'm a big hamburger guy. The atmosphere was also OK, but basically everything else sucked. F-tier french fries, very few options, dessert also sucked. Wait staff didn't really seem to know what was going on. Overall, it's just one of those really bad diners, but with fewer options and twice as expensive.

Good food. I came as they were opening and wanted to grab some food to go. The service was fast and everyone was incredibly nice. Ordered the southwest chicken sandwich and a Philly. I wasn't disappointed by the portions and the food was great with an affordable price.

Just passing through town and wanted a bite to eat. Menu looks really good but never got to order. I was seated at a booth and asked for a glass of water. After sitting 5-10min I decided to leave. There was one other person in the whole place.

We stopped in before our trip home back to New York for a quick bite to eat and were pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere inside. The food was served quickly and absolutely delicious. Best burger and fries I've had in a long time. Will definitely return when we're in the area again!

If you are people of color, Asians, be warned. This is the most racist restaurant that I have ever been in America. The old waitress’s attitude towards my friends and I were simply disgusting. The tone of her voice, the way she give us unwelcoming looks, in comparison to the happy and cheerful manner that she used to treat the other all American family table (white parents with kids) you don’t have to be a genius to figure out we as people of color were not welcome in this restaurant. Oh and by the way, they have automatically included 18% tips in our bill. Given the experience that we went through, the restaurant certainly does not deserve 18% tips. We hope that the restaurant will apologize and we will not be back ever again.

Don't trust the bad reviews. We ate there tonight and the food and service were excellent. Our server, Mary Dana was pleasant and efficient. The soup, salad and steak were perfect and the bread pudding with maple bourbon sauce was past delicious.

A pleasant and surprising find in an otherwise ordinary looking mall environment - we would have driven right past it if not for a recommendation from one of the locals. A little pricey - but the food was well worth it! Friendly staff and sophisticated atmosphere.

Had the fish and chips and I have to say, the fish was probably tied with the best fried fish I've ever had. The batter was perfect (i.e. not too thick) and the fish was nice and thick and you get a whole piece of a fish as opposed to smaller fillets. The maple bread pudding was also delicious! We also had the cuban sandwich which was tasty although nothing to rave about. The decor leaves something to be desired but its a basic clean diner-esq place with big booths.

I'm not sure what the glowing reviews are seeing that I didn't. The service was slow although our very nice server did apologize for it. The food was indifferent. My burger was very dry even though it was cooked medium rare as I had ordered. The grilled brioche was burned all around and almost impossible to bite into. Nice side salad. Over all, pretty forgettable.

Was in the area around lunch time on a Saturday and this place looked OK. Was not very busy and we were seated right away. My wife had a chicken quesadilla and was happy with it. I got the Southwest Grilled Chicken Sandwich and was quite displeased. The chicken was not grilled for starters. Well if you call a flat top a "grill" then semantics win. Second there was zero seasoning on the chicken, not even salt and pepper. It may have well have been steamed. Absolutely no hint of southwest flavors, the roll was good and had a pink mayo on it but again , even after scraping a bunch of it up onto a butter knife there was ZERO flavor?? Not even sure how you do that. So, the to say this sandwich was bland doesn't quite cover it , it was remarkably flavorless to a stupefying degree. I did inhale all the fries though.....

Seated promptly. Our server Stella Blue was simply amazing, perfect timing and very personable. The food was wonderful, we had a BLT and Monte Cristo, both were enormous and very fairly priced! Will definitely visit again before our trip is up.

I would definitely not recommend this place. Been up to this area several times and love the area. Food here was really horrible, and i am not picky. Seems much of it was frozen, rest was poor. Service was poor to horrible, i think service might have been even worse. Orders were mixed up, got wrong food and pretty much every thing was terrible., don't go here! Jakes is good down the street or colonial house up the road! DONT GO HERE!
