This Restaurant is included in the category of Thai restaurant.
Had a great lunch of red curry and massaman curry. Delicious! Nice selection of beers, wines and teas. Clean restaurant with friendly wait staff.
DELICIOUS Thai food! We come here every time we're in the Manchester area. They serve a variety of curries and other dishes, and any spicy dish has adjustable levels of heat. Portions are fairly large - my mom and I usually split a curry dish - but could definitely be eaten by one person if very hungry.
Wish they would open a location in Rutland! Delicious Thai Food!
Very good Thai food. Cordial staff. Reasonable prices I think, waiting for my check.
First time eating here. A VERY Nice Experience. Great prices for lunch. Just wish that the menu had more to choose from. I will be going back.
Great location and proper Thai food. Desserts were a huge letdown though. We tried the mango cheesecake for which the menu said "fresh mangoes" but when the cake arrives, it was topped with ridiculous frozen mangoes. Also the creme brulee on the menu said, "caramel would be sizzling as it comes to the table", but it was stone cold. But don't let that discourage you. The Thai food was great. Service was good and welcoming. That is what it should be about and hence, I would come back if I was here again. Cheers.
It is not the best food I had; but, service is great. It is simple Americanized Thai food.
Excellent!
Excellent food and service.
Love the food.
Everything here is way too sweet. Good location and good service.
Review is based solely on the food, as my family and I got takeout. Would easily have rated 2, but one person liked the Pad Thai alright. Overall, it was really the absolute laziest Thai food I've ever had. The preparation was mediocre and the flavor was very bland in most of the meals. The main thing you should take from this review is: If you like Thai food, you will probably want to avoid this place, as it will almost certainly be disappointing. If you don't have a discerning taste and don't really have Thai food much, it might not be too bad. It definitely doesn't deserve the stars it has on Google reviews...
Best restaurant in town.
Good food, nice service
The food is absolutely wonderful!! Lots of gluten free options! Service was great!
The food was simply phenomenal. Ordered a Thai iced tea, chicken pad Thai and some spring rolls. Can you say yum, yum? Definitely recommend to any and all. The wait staff was super friendly and knowledgeable as well. They even recommended places I could take my son to see since we were visiting from out of town. Will definitely come back here.
We made a reservation for 7 people at 7:15 and arrived on time. We walked up to the hostess and she told us that they had didn't have a table for us and was NOT helpful at all. They told us we had to wait 30 minutes for a table. Then they almost gave a table away to a group that had 7:30 reservations but we got it. We had to wait a long time for our drinks, didn't get out appetizers and then we were served incorrect meals and didn't get one of our entrees until 20 minutes later. The appetizers came out after some of our entrees. Yet the forgot someone's entree completely! The service was awful and overall a very aggravating experience.
Thai food in VT?!?! Are you sure? The answer is a resounding yes! Do yourself a favor an be check this place out. The spice is right and the flavors are bold and authentic
food was not cooked properly was bad first time then went back even worst bad once maybe twice forget it and move on
We were lucky enough to get seated without a reservation - there was a big party coming in after us but they accommodated us with the provision we be out in an hour. Seemed like an easy thing to do. I ordered the Drunken Noodles and thought they were great, despite a smaller portion size than I expected. My wife and a friend also ordered the same thing but tough it was far too spicy. Our waitress was friendly but one in our group never got his food - a simple salad. After repeated attempts it never came. We had to leave to make room for the next group and then the salad appeared. Instead of comping it for such a delay they still have him the bill. When he (rightly) refused to pay they seemed shocked that he didn’t want to pay for a salad that took an hour to make and was only delivered as we were getting ready to leave.
Great martinis at the bar
Great Thai food, always have a great meal there
(Translated by Google) Thai noodles are very delicious. It is the best Thai restaurant I have ever eaten. I have forgotten to take pictures. (Original) 泰国面非常好吃
Awesome food. Service was really good. I would say here is where I had the spiciest food in a while and loved it a lot.
Always a good experience!
Great food, good service, nice cocktails. Try their spring rolls, crispy duck and blood orange cosmo. You may pick your level of spiciness. We bring friends all the time who've never had thai and they all end up raving about it.
Excellent Thai cuisine in Manchester.
Good service. Food average.
Very good food. I enjoyed their soups.
Delicious food, great selection of martinis.
For a martini bar they could use some better Gin selection.
Great Thai food in the heart of Manchester. Pho and Tom Yam soups were delicious. Great service.
New York speed service (that is, fast!), attentive staff, absolutely delicious food and a nice atmosphere. Couldn't ask for more.
The green curry and seafood was excellent
I’ve only had takeout from here. Food was excellent, can’t say anything really about the restaurant’s atmosphere until I go back to eat there.
Best restaurant in Manchester, VT!! Totally recommend the Pad Thai rice noodles. The service was great and they were very flexible. Everyone was very friendly too! Porpotions were great and you get your money's worth. Love it, love it, love it and can't wait to go back!
Great Pad thaï!
A wonderful atmosphere, really attentive service, and the food. The preparation is just amazing. Only had a couple of apps, but they were outstanding. Try the Tuna Tataki, you won't be disappointed.
Absolutely delightful staff. I had the massaman curry and pino grigio and both were outstanding. Lovely outdoor seating option.
Always a go to place for a nice meal!
Not what we expected. Tofu was under cooked, a bit slimy. Over priced for what you get. Bring your credit card.
My wife and I had a delicious lunch here for a reasonable price. We definitely would come back. Good food and friendly staff.
Food and service here are very good. The prices are very high though. I'd like to eat here more often, but cannot justify the cost.
For take out i ordered the spicy basil stir fried veggies with Jasmine rice and tofu. The tofu could have been better but the vegetables were perfect and flavor and spice was amazing. I ordered the dish with the 5 star spicy Thai rating but it usually made as 3 star. My husband ordered the drunken noodles 4 star spice with chicken and love that as well. The food was ready 15 minutes after calling and they were very welcoming when i walked in to pick it up. The restaurant itself is very charming with wonderful ambiance. P.s. lunch prices are great!
We loved the food!
Good fresh food, don't expect authentic Taiwanese food, but it's delicious on its own.
My husband and I don't get out much, so we were thrilled to find such delicious Thai food so "close" to home last Monday evening. We enjoyed a wonderful meal, the decor and service were great. We sampled lots of appetizers and settled on the crispy duck & pad thai for our main courses. The flavors were fresh and authentic. Unfortunately, about 24 hours after dining, I was overcome with fever, chills, and severe diarrhea that has lasted over 4 days. Salmonella poisoning. I am (regrettably) sure that the tuna tartar appetizer was the culprit. Though we enjoyed our meal immensely at the time, I sadly will not be able to ever dine at this establishment again. I would recommend that patrons only select fully-cooked dishes when dining at this establishment, to avoid a similar fate.
We drove an hour to get here because we have eaten here before and love the food. A reasonably priced very tasty meal with unique Thai options. You MUST make a reservation many weekend nights.
Very nice restaurant.. have vegetarian options.. foods was tasty
Delicious and wonderful staff.
Oooo yum. I will be dreaming about this place for a long long time. When they say spicy, they mean spicy. Highly recommend.
Ordered the pad Thai and cashew chicken. Both delicious!
One of our favorites! Delicious food, friendly service. Great spring rolls, curried, fried tofu, and basil spring rolls.
The food was okay.
Excellent service and the food is great! Be careful though, the spicy dishes are very spicy!
Amazing Thai ice tea
Great martinis! Loved sitting outside, the patio was perfect!
This is a very cute restaurant with good portions and nicely presented food. They have been around for a few years and are well established. We had Tom Yum soup...Shrimp is the only option offered for the soup on the menu but they were able to make it with chicken for us. We also ordered Thai veggie and drunken noodles both with #4 out of 5 spice level, and was they were both nice and spicy (we've found that some restaurants are shy with the spice). Our only complaint is that we ordered a bottle of white wine with our lunch. When pouring the taste, a half glass was pored only to find out there was debris is the bottom of the glass. Apologies were made and a new glass provided but no compensation for the wine lost.
Very good food and fast service.
Fresh food great flavors.
Great food, great service and great location
The food is simply amazing. All the dishes were amazingly flavorful and delicious. Our waiter was great. We are vegetarian and they were able to customize dishes for us. We got three main entrees and all were delicious and unique in flavor. Wish there were more restaurants like this where we live (northern NJ) but we haven't found a place matching this place so far. Great food. The place seems to get crowded so get reservations.
Is Good
Good but expensive
The rice noodle soups are excellent
Delicious food. Will go again.
Loved this restaurant so very much! My family ate out on the patio. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to. Period.
Delicious Thai food, good price for the lunch menu. Everything we ordered was great but they do get pretty busy
A manchester delight
Love this Thai!
Good Thai food...good service also.
Fabulous lunch !!
Delicious food and great cocktails, highly recommend!!!!!!!!
Excellent tasty food at a reasonable price. Service was very good. Apps and entrées arrived quickly and warm.
Here eating as we speak. I had to leave a review. It's the bomb. No joke. Top notch
I just left Thai Basil. My mother and I ate here after skiing at Stratton. It is an excellent restaurant. The food was delicious. She had the Panang curry and I had the cashew stir fry, both with chicken. We loved our dishes. The edamame appetizer was a generous portion and was very flavorful, even though it had less salt than we are used to at other Asian restaurants. The food was also much less expensive than the decor would suggest!
Great food at good prices.
Average food presented well. We had the Tom Yum soup, large sized (my husband and I shared it), with shrimp only (it includes chicken on the menu), in a shrimp broth (supposedly) with thin noodles, etc. Described as "hot and sour". Their ratings for spicy: no star, very mild. 1 star a little spicy. 2 stars spicier, 3 stars getting hot, etc. The soup was rated 2 stars and should have had a some heat and that wonderful Thai, complex, sour flavor, but it tasted very bland. No taste of shrimp or the sea in the broth. Very large and plentiful shrimp, but again, bland. I ordered the "Signature Fresh Basil Rolls" (appetizer) and they were what I think of as summer rolls, with soft, rice paper wrappers, basil, carrot, cucumber, rice noodles and shrimp). Served with a very tasty spicy hoisin sauce on the side. I couldn't taste the shrimp OR the basil, which was odd since they are billed as "Signature Fresh BASIL Rolls". Quite bland and would have had no taste but for the hoisin sauce. I had the Mango Curry with Red Snapper (the other protein choices were salmon or shrimp, and since the soup and rolls had shrimp I was shrimped out). The Red Snapper was in bite sized pieces and had the skin on, which I personally don't like. I spent 5 minutes peeling the skin off and putting it on a plate for my husband, who thinks the skin is the best part. I'd asked the waitress if the snapper was de-boned and she said yes. I think the menu or the waitress should have mentioned the snapper was served with skin on. The curry, also rated 2 stars, was too spicy for me. It and the soup had completely different levels of heat. The curry sauce, aside from being too hot, had no complexity of flavor. It was listed as having "naturally sweet coconut milk", red curry with mango chunks, red bell pepper, basil leaves and baby carrots and was served with white rice. I never tasted any mango, coconut milk or basil flavors. There was one red pepper strip and I DID see and taste the baby carrots. Missing from this dish (again) was the complexity of sweet/sour, and clean, light flavors that are so indicative of Thai cuisine. Bland and too "hot" at the same time. My husband had the Nam Tok salad with 6 oz. Angus beef top sirloin, which he ordered medium rare. When the salad came the strips of beef were on top and it was apparent they were well done. It had red onion (too much, my husband took a lot of it out), chili (he didn't taste any heat), scallions, cilantro, lemongrass, mint (didn't detect the mint), roasted rice powder (no roasted taste at all) and lemon juice stop mixed greens. He said the salad was "average". I had the Thai iced coffee. It was watery and lacked that deep, strong coffee flavor with sweetness on top. Again, bland. The service is o.k. Not great, meaning not particularly efficient, but the servers themselves are pleasant. My husband and I were here from NJ, right across from NYC, and he is SE Asian. We BOTH know excellent Thai food and the tastes these dishes should have had. The prices are high (resort prices) and neither of us would eat there again. We'll gladly go back to NJ to our favorite Thai restaurant, which has complex, tasty food at a much better price point.
The food was okay and overpriced.
Very average Thai food. The staff are very friendly and the dining room wasn't crowded (probably due to my first sentence). Do not expect any heat at all, even when Thai hot requested. If in Manchester and you need Thai food, check it out. Otherwise, you'd probably be better off elsewhere.
Excellent. Don’t miss it. Crispy duck and Green Curry Shrimp are delish!
This is a very cute place. It’s uniquely decorated. I found the menu very ample with so many choices and the food was very savory. I found it to be in the pricey side comparing this cuisine to other restaurant in Boston, MA. We were not happy with the water. It had an odd flavor, it heavy like a cream water. The service was very nice by giving was suggestions on what to lunch. I loved that I went off season and it was crowded. There’s parking on the street very easy to find if you go on off season.
Their food is consistently very fresh and delicious. Our 'go to' Thai, that would stand up to many of the finest in big cities.
Delicious! I had the pad thai which was very good. The steamed dumplings were excellent. Lots of gluten free options. Lovely patio seating.
The food was exquisite!!! I have never been to a restaurant with this good of service. The waiters and waitresses were so kind, patient, and helpful. This is my favorite restaurant I HIGHLY recommend. It is also a child friendly atmosphere and lots of space. Please go here you won't be disappointed!!!
Great spot for lunch. Incredible quality and quantity for a very reasonable price.
Great Thai food. Comfortable place, nice bar, friendly service. We keep going back.
Good food / service/ ambiance
Phenomenal Thai food will rival any large city try the signature Thai Basil dish
WARNING: MISLABLED FISH – This restaurant is nice, and most of the food is very good. Should be 4 or 5 stars! However, Thai Basil mislabeled fish. I am a professional biologist and culinary ichthyologist working with the Seafood Monitoring Project. My family ordered three fish dishes. The salmon was in fact salmon (farmed Atlantic), and the tuna was tuna (Ahi Bigeye or Yellowfin). Those are hard to fake, and can be purchased in bulk cheaply. However, the “Red Snapper” was actually farmed freshwater catfish! Yuck. Red Snapper is expensive, so it’s common in restaurants to swap it out for something cheaper. But Thai Basil, a word of advice: swap it for a firm, white flesh saltwater fish. Pacific Codfish is a great choice: it’s cheap and tasty and your customers won’t know the difference. But you used farmed catfish, and to be honest, it tasted gross. Farmed catfish is mushy and tastes like fishy mud. I know it’s the cheapest white fish you could find, and smothered in curry sauce you thought you could get away with it. But it just tastes terrible. Fake your “Red Snapper” with Pacific Cod or another saltwater white fish.
Excellent Thai food! I have had several meals there and each one is delicious. They care a lot about their food quality and always want to ensure they have consistent taste and quality with each dish. Their portions are very good for the price as well! I highly recommend this authentic Thai restaurant to anyone visiting Manchester, VT.
Good food and ok service. Careful since dishes are not always as described in the menu.
Lunch was amazing. Wonton soup and pad Thai were on point!!! Friendly Atmosphere!!!
Both food and service excellent
We went there twice both tone they sat us down and didn't even ask for our drink orders for 30 min and never even gave them to us, they have horrible service, we ended up leaving because they were being completely neglectful and there food cast way more than it should
Ate here for dinner today. Nice and attentive staff. What my wife and I loved the most were the food. We ordered fried dumplings, pork satay, jumbo shrimp, and chicken yellow curry. All tasted so so good, they were great! Would come back here any time. Enjoy!
非常好!我们连续两天在此晚餐!非常适合我们的亚洲口味!冬荫功炒饭,菠萝饭,西兰花虾饭等都非常美味,海鲜很新鲜,分量足,值得推荐!吃得太开心忘记拍照……
I have to admit Namtok dish and papaya salad give me kinda authentic Thai style vibe! They both taste great! Plus, service is nice and polite!
I ordered the Pad Thai with beef. Very good! My friend ordered the pineapple fried rice which made an attractive presentation served in a cut half of a pineapple but she was disappointed as the rice was 'sticky'.
Fantastic
Always great! They fit us in at the last minute and were very gracious. Server was super friendly. We love this place!
10 out of 10. Actually make that 11 out of 10. Food is AWESOME!!
Had an excellent lunch. Hot tea, with my choice of tea bag, Shrimp Tom Yum Soup, and Our Signature Spicy Basil ***, which was spicy enough to raise a good sweat.
The food is so good and tasty.
Amazing, complex flavors in every dish. A gem of the region
Excellent food. Service not so excellent. 20 minute wait for someone to come to our table after hostess sat us. They missed an entire entree and didn't bring it even after we asked for it twice.
Great food and good service! Clean and beautiful setting.
One of the most delicious and authentic Thai food
Spectacular Restaurant! One of the gems of Manchester.
A Thai restaurant in the middle of Manchester, Vermont. The dishes are big and nice. You can find in the manu a verity of traditional Thai dishes such as Pad Thai and Carry dishes. Service is good, helpful and quick. Kids also found good things to eat.
This restaurant has a very nice ambience in a quaint little town of manchester.. servers were great and presentation was awesome.. but taste wise it was probably too authentic for me.. it didn't had the familiar flavours of other great thai restaurants I have visited... so, you might be in for a surprise- good or bad depends on your taste buds!
Great Thai food for VT.
The food was good. Parking is little difficult to find if it's crowded. As it's only street parking, many cars could not park near the restaurant. Price was ok neither low nor high.
The food was good.
