I'm a big fan of the Hole in the Hill for a drink with your buddies or taking the family out to dinner. The food is great, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is wonderful.

Went once, never plan to go back. You get complimentary tortillas with a salsa that is far too spicy to eat, much less enjoy. The food was mediocre at best. It's a cozy little basement pub that should probably just be a pub and stop playing at being an eating establishment because the food sucks.

This place is great! Down home atmosphere with great people. You can't go wrong here.

The french fries were grease logged...............need to change the oil or it needed to be hotter. Fried clams were strips not whole belly. Cole slaw came from a bag...........not homemade. The onion rings were very good. I don't think we will be returning there again. Stairs leading down to Hole in the Hill were in disrepair. Need to be repaired before they have a lawsuit on their hands.

Love this place. The staff is extremely friendly and check on you multiple times to make sure you have the drinks you need and that the food is good. Love the food as well. Never disappointed when we eat here.

Food is your basic springfield avg quality. The staff here are fantastic however the food quality is very sub-par. When u get a chicken quesadilla u expect freshly shredded chicken instead u get precooked processed chicken chunks.. that is not food quality that costs $10... where is the standard in springfield… EDIT<> Went back for some odd reason and ordered me and the wife a steak and cheese only to get horribly sick for the next 2 days. Never again will they receive my money...

Food on point. Service on point. It's a downstairs diner and inside it feels right at home. Nice laid back environment. There is Even a fireplace to keep you warm during the winter months. If this is your first time eating here the on g.p.s. it can be slightly confusing it's the building in between the bank and the pizza shop and park on the left in the bank parking lot not in the back. The back parking is more for small vehicles not trucks. They are literally next door to the local cinema and couldn't be a more perfect location. We dined in went next door caught a movie that Same night. Great food great staff great service. We will definitely be return customers.

Warning (after having it happen to us 4 times now): don't bother going after 7:30pm because they will likely be closed. They say open until 9, but it's unfortunately not the case. Good food otherwise.

Came in with a group of friends on a short vacation. Very homey and comfortable atmosphere and not a touristy spot. Customers seemed to be regulars and staff was incredibly friendly with fast service. The house made salsa was some of the best we have ever had and the french fries were delicious. Would definitely return if I ever am in the area again.

Place was not busy, but no one noticed we came in and sat down. Went and got servers attention for menus. 10 min later a different server gave them to us. Food was good, beer was over priced. Servers were both friendly, just seemed unorganized and not paying attention to the room.
