This place is great! prime rib is amazing! One of the best French onion soups I've ever had. Went in on Sunday and they had amazing BBQ beef ribs for a dollar and chicken wings for .40C! Apparently they do this every Sunday and Monday! I ordered a Switchback, 6 wings and two BBQ beef ribs and my bill was under ten bucks! Pretty sure I'll be there every Sunday from now on. The menu is quite extensive and calling this restaurant a neighborhood pub does it zero justice. Great staff and great atmosphere at great prices. My only complaint is I didn't find it sooner. Maybe I'll see you there! Thank you Rotisserie!

Simply put... not good. The chicken had a bad aftertaste. They did remove it from my bill, but did not offer to put in a different order for me. My wife's prime rib was 80% fat and not cooked to her liking.$6.95 for buttered noodles for my kids is a little steep. Really disappointing. Many other places to go next time we are in the area.

First time here because we had a coupon from the CVU baseball fundraiser coupon book. The decor is a little dated and tired. The menu is expansive and good for families. My scallops were good - not great, but reasonably priced. The dinner salad and dressings were perhaps a highlight as was the fresh bread. My daughters steak tips didn't look that appetizing (had a grayish tinge) but she said they were good and she is fussy. I would say this was a solid choice.

Nice little restaurant with huge portions... Prime rib was quite good, ordered it with squash and rice pilaf plus side Caesar salad were all very good. Tried Cheese Ghost Pepper soup which was creamy cheesy with a hint of ghost pepper.

Had a nice Birthday party there. Staff was attentive. Drinks and appetizers came out quickly. I had a nice 6oz filet mignon that was very good but cooked more medium rare than rare. Prices were very reasonable and everyone agreed the meals were very good and everyone had more than enough food to eat.

Wasn't what expected, service wasn't sincere stood there for about 5 minutes and didn't asked needed to be help, until approach the bar tender to place an order. Afterwards upon order was ready, have to asks for bag to put food for carry out.... otherwise, just carry out container... perhaps spill in car while driving....food was good just customer service could have been a bit more pleasant.....

I have never had a negative experience here. The food, service and ambiance are excellent! I am part Italian and it is my favorite food and so I was hesitant to order a special of chicken meatballs, linguine and red sauce. The dish blew me away-totally delicious and lots left over for tomorrow!

Went with my Dad and we were excited to get the filet as it has always been decent in the past. We ordered medium and it came out VERY rare. I sent mine back and it came back just as rare. The sides were all very cold. The restaurant was dead. IF it were busy I would have understood. My dad ate less than a 1/3 of his and didnt touch his sides at all. The rolls were stale and hard as a rock. The manager walking around didn't even apologize for the terrible experience.. just walked away. They took one meal off of our bill even though BOTH meals went untouched. I watched a couple near by experience the exact same thing. Another gross thing is after contaminating the food they kept putting it on the grill which is far from sanitary. I have worked in a restaurant and that is a huge no.. in general but its FLU SEASON. This place used to be great not sure what is going on but we will not be back. Windjammer it is! (The waitress was very kind but did not seemed very trained as far as what is going on with the menu and what drinks they offer)

Had brunch on a Sunday at opening. It wasn't crowded and I was seated quickly. The service was friendly and attentive. I ordered the crabcake Benedict and a couple sides. The portions were large and prices were very reasonable. The food was ok, no complaints, it was what I was expecting. Overall it was a decent experience and I would recommend brunch here for anyone looking for a hearty meal at an affordable price.

Hot outdoors and hot inside, prime rib over cooked, new york strip was dry, was not asked what I wanted for a vegetable an was given Brussels sprouts I HATE BRUSSELS SPROUTS! Dry crusty dinner rolls, waited for Ten minutes before they were served. After the meal was served, it was over 20 minutes before the waitress asked how the meal was, by that time I was ready for the check to get out of there. I won't be back.

My wife Maureen and I have been happy diners here for many years. Both before and after the fire. Highly recommended for leisurely dining. It is NOT a fast food restaurant and if you are looking for that or proportioned heat and serve meals, don’t go there. Good food served by happy waiters and waitresses like Heather take time.

So the appetizer was decent not great ordered a ribeye bone in med rare got one well done not a big deal told waitress that it was overcooked 40 min later got a sirloin well done(no bone), asked waiter where my ribeye with bone midrare she said it's there, I said first this is a sirloin no bone she took plate away I left after that

Ordered lunch and was told that the nachos we're on special for $8.95. said thanks I'll pick it up in about 20min if that's good. Yup no prob. Great I said I'll see you soon. Got there and the women tried to charge me $16.95 was extremely rude and gave me a hard time. She changed the price for me after saying she had to go to the kitchen and ask. FinalyFshe came back and adjusted the price but didn't hand me my lunch. So I asked about it and I got a story response back. So she finally came back and brought me my lunch. I am not likely to come back. Food is great and it's a nice place but snoty and rude service unfortunately!

This place is the definition of a sh*tshow. We walked through the door and had to wait over 7 minutes to be seated because the hostess and waiter were going on about the lack of decaf coffee- what a crisis. We should have known right then that this was only going to get worse. Once seated it took about 15 minutes to get a drink order placed, only to be told 10 minutes later they don’t offer it. The staff was frazzled the whole time even though there were only a handful of tables. Never did we get a water or a friendly check in- just glances while they ran past us. Once we finally got our food it was cold, unseasoned and undercooked. Don’t come here expecting quality service or food. Eat at your own risk.

Blink and you will miss this resturant. Even thow its located at an intersectiin I drive by all the time I never new this resturant was there. Use google maps or you wont be able to find it, drove by it when I ment to go there. We had lunch, good price and good food. Only 4/5 stars because it wasnt the best meal I've ever had but was very satisfying.

The meals that my husband and I got were ok. Based on those we would probably not go back since we have our favorite go to places but as we also eat with 2 small children their kids meals would bring us back to try something else for us. I was very happy and surprised with the portions that were provided for the price. My son's meal of chicken fingers looked more like 3 chicken cutlets and they tasted good. Both kids left happy and full.

Great local restaurant. Good steak and seafood selection at good prices for Chittenden county, with very good portions. Service is very friendly. The place was newly renovated a few years ago and is clean and good condition.

Many people I've talked to have said how good this restaurant was so I thought we'd give it a try. The staff was very friendly. The food came out very quickly, but that was about it. When we first sat down there was numerous fruit flies flying around the table. That gave a great first impression! I found myself constantly swatting at flies trying to keep them away from the food! I ordered the NY Strip and it had absolutely no flavor and seemed like very low quality. There was NO seasoning on it. Seems like the steak was taken from the package and put right onto the grill. I spit probably 1/3 of it out back onto the plate because it was mostly connective tissue/tendon and crunched/was like rubber when you chewed it. The best part of dinner was the appetizers. I will definitely not come back.

Usually have an excellent meal but tonight was the exception. One member of our group had an ice cold cheeseburger and a flat draft beer. And they messed up my open face steak sandwich as well. I did't get the garlic bread, and I ordered medium - well and got raw meat. The waitress comped two of the meals. The chef must have had an off night.

It was ok, not great. We went on Mother's Day but the seating for our party in thier back room & was very loud for us with creeking floors from people walking nearby to the kitchen or bathrooms. We had limited menu choices for our group, I had the Teriyaki Chicken, and rice, with broccoli. My chicken & rice were fine but the broccoli was cold for some reason? They did serve warm cornbread muffins that were good, but the other rolls were not warm enough to melt the whipped butter. I was a guest, so I didn't get the bill, so I can't say anything about the value on this meal, but I have eaten in the bar / lounge recently and it was fine. Lighting was dark, but the light from window was very bright, hard to happy room for guest with 1 small window and dim lights for 16 people. No background music, but right off main road, I didn't hear the road noise either. Staff waited on us very good.

Came in at 9 at night and waited forever to get my order taken. Party of 5 and we all ordered burgers and it took longer than an hour for the food, one person in the party also got a steak that was super over cooked. When food finally did come out the burger were amazing but not worth the wait. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOUR IN A HURRY

Steak and Ribs kind of place. Whenever I get gas at the Gulf station I see this place, so we eventually walked in and tried them out. We walked through the pub to get into the restaurant section. I like the steaks and the wife enjoyed the ribs. The prime rib is good enough to eat without having to add any steak sauce, juicy and tender. Service is on the slow side at times, and SOME of the staff are not much on the friendly side. Cheers!

This place needs some major renovations, the bar side was excruciatingly noisy, by 6pm on a Friday night they were out of the prime rib, the onion rings I was told they were cut fresh, they were not they were burned and tasteless And sent back. I have no desire to go back there for anything

Very delicious local restaurant that offers Cabot cheese (a local and animal-rennet-free option I can't go without) and a delicious roasted beet salad. Very accommodating with menu changes and I was able to order specific items like sliced avacado and fried Brussels sprouts that were not listed on the menu to go with my meal. They also have a great selection of burgers and steaks, my boyfriend had a bbq burger with bacon added. Well made drinks, excellent service, and free WiFi made the experience all-the-more memorable.
