Great service and service. Menu was varied enough for a quick bite or a meal. While not from the area this was a nice change from the faddish and more pricey eateries. I will definitely be back!

Very good. Love the Greek salad with chicken. So delicious. Service is always friendly and quick. Pizza is also very good along with appetizers. They have a creemee stand in the summer as well as breakfast. Great little local spot and very family friendly. There are always different specials listed which seems delicious.

Amazing pizza. Reminds me of a cozy mom and pop place I used to go to in FL, same fluffy crisp pizza crust and everything. Awesome toppings, fairly priced and very gentile service. Would go again and again! Get the raspberry creemie!

I often come here for a great breakfast. But make sure your here at least 20 minutes before they "stop serving" because everytime I'm here within the 15 I get turned away. That's not really great business and I'm quite displeased.

Omg a while ago a friend said to try this place. And we did. So freekn good. My favorite is the hot turkey,gravy,mashed potatoes,dressing.cole slaw.we go there bout 3 to 4 times a month's. Try it you will not be disappointed

I have only had one bad meal out of the 300 I may have eaten. I wanted a hot turkey sandwich with all white meat and got a hot sandwich with dark meat under white. I was given more white but gravy was cold then. Never got a bad one since. Excellent food, atmosphere

If you're looking for the latest craze in stupidly-presented food with little flavor and a high price, this ain't it. This is a small family restaurant in small-town Vermont. The food is good, solid home-style food. The prices are reasonable, the service is friendly. If you go during the dinner or breakfast rush, it takes them a little longer. That should not surprise you. The owner is right there in the middle of it all; Making sure that things are right, and if there's time, she'll come check on you. There are a few Greek specialty items on the menu, and the Prime Rib is always a treat.

The food never disappoints. Everything I've tried so far they've nailed. Nothing very extravagant, but lots of home cooking and very fair (unbeatable) prices. Great home-y atmosphere for breakfast, delicious comfort foods for lunch and dinner. Even their pizza is delicious. I highly recommend.

Fast, fast service and meals. Great meals, especially Sunday breakfasts. Never leave disapointed. Holiday meals? Awesome, but be prepared to wait for a table. It's the proverbial line out the door. Please tip the waitstaff well. They are the hardest working people I have ever seen.

A great family owned restaurant. It's a staple of the area! The family is so nice and so is everyone that works with them. Their homemade salad dressing is DELICIOUS and they have a large selection of menu items that everyone can be happy with. Laurie was especially awesome and she even suggested a few places for us when we asked where we could go after we left there. They were all excellent suggestions. They know their stuff at Papa Nick's, just try it!

One of my favorite places to eat. I've tried numerous dishes and haven't been disappointed yet. The food is always fresh and comes out hot. The fries are the best in Vermont. The burgers are also tasty. But their Greek dishes can't be beat and you get a generous amount too. A quaint little place, that is kid friendly and plenty of parking. I highly recommend Papa Nick's.

This is good home cooking for the most part however the service can be spotty and the food is diner food for sure. Their creemes in the summer are ok as well but nothing special. When a gas station has better ice cream you know you are doing something wrong.

Very bad experience. Sandwiches were $9, barely anything on them...no pickle and chips like stated. They were soggy and toasted veggies. Priced at $6.95 on menu for sandwhich, charged 2$ more for each. Highly disappointed!! Got a milkshake also which was straight milk no black raspberry taste at all!! Gross.

Ate here for breakfast and had the basic eggs, potatoes, bacon, and toast. All for $7.50. 4 slices of bacon, homemade bread makes for a good country breakfast. Potatoes were just ok. OJ was great...not the cheap kind. Service was fantastic - kind and prompt. I will absolutely return for a repeat! :-)

This is the second time in the past year we have eaten here as we are from out of town. The breakfast was good with plenty of food and the service was spot on for a busy Saturday morning. I can't give Papa Nick's 5 stars because there corned beef hash was not up to the home made standard that I think distinguishes a 5 from a 4. In fact I suspect that the CBH was canned or pre-made off premises. I could be wrong so I am not going to a 3 which would be the deserved rating for using canned but I am suspicious. There are some other small touches in the food that leave me wondering if they are really serious about breakfast beyond hefty portions. However I am giving them the benefit of the doubt. Please give them a try and help solve the mystery.

My family and I were visiting Starksboro VT from Worcester, MA for a family reunion. We were staying in Shelburne and tried expensive resteraunts there and in Burlington where the food was terrible. We stopped at Papa Nick's and the food was amazing! Everything was fresh and delicious. They have a good selection and the prices were inexpensive. It was a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Whenever we return to the area we will be sure to stop at Papa Nick's.
