So this was my second time there and I'm a little bit disappointed and it was my boyfriend's first time there and do to the staff tonight he doesn't want to come back. First off when we come in we are happily greeted by a young blonde girl at the bar she immediately got us our drinks(she didn't check our ID's even though we are old enough she still needs to check) but she clearly didn't know how to make them and they were literally just alcohol in a cup little ice and none of the juices the drinks were supposed to have(we got cocktails), so we switched them out for a different drink and again same problem but we just got soda to mix it with since she didn't know what to do and then our waitress out on the deck ignored us, we were there for a few hours enjoying the band and during that time she talked to us twice but was talking to all the tables around us and when it came time to leave I had to ask three times to close my tab, twice to the waitress and then I went inside to one of the guys at the bar and it still took 40 minutes from the time I first asked to close my tab to finally get it closed because the waitress was ignoring our table. Other than the problems tonight i love the place and will be back.

The band kicked ass. Sticks and stones really do break bones. The bathroom was nice. The hand dryer adequetly dried my hands(I always wash after doing my business). Swift service at the bar from the hot bartender so you know she got tipped well. And they have a really sweet deck.

Good food, 80 percent of the time they have great music...when they don't, its the band that is underwhelming, not the restaurants fault. Holly is your best bet for a bartender. The food is always pretty good. Its consistent, which if youve ever worked in a kitchen is the most important thing. I definitely recommend going there for a drink and some grub.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I watched as their door men picked certain people to humiliate throughout the night. One girl who wasn't even drinking dropped her purse and they kicked her out! She was there for the music. They dont cut people off if they feel they have had too much.. they pick young girls to humiliate and make them leave. None of these girls did anything wrong or were stumbling or overly drunk. Mean while there were men in there taking shot after shot rubbing all over women who didnt want to be touched. If you want to have a nice night without alcohol maybe this is your place. But I have never seen door men enjoy to pick through young pretty girls making them cry for doing absolutely nothing. And stand out in the cold while their friends are inside trying to find a ride crying. Terrible business I have never seen anything like it.

Here's the thing... People love this place and I can see why. What this place needs for a 5 star is a serious cleaning. The whole place feels of filth. There are flies EVERYWHERE and they don't seem to care as I've went a month apart. Good points they have excellent food and drinks and have a good selection of both. If John Taffer from Bar Rescue came in to this bar area he would have a field day. Needs a fresh coat of paint and a professional pest control service. Obviously there is an underlying problem that hasn't been taken care of. I would love to go to this place more if these things were taken care of. No exaggeration there was about 500 flies around our area!

Went to the host who told me I didn't need to be seated and to just sit anywhere. Picked a seat and sat there for 25 minutes with out a water, menu or even a look from the waitress. Walked out and went to mcgillicudys across the street. Much, much better service, ordered and had my good food in 20 min.

Fun. However, WATCH YOUR MONEY & stick with one bartender! First bartender gave a FULL shot glass of alcohol for $5. Second bartender tried ripping me off cash wise telling me $10 each as well as gave half an amount for 2 shots equaling to one!! Otherwise, the bar itself was fun with a good band!

Yuk, I ordered a chimichanga and was very disappointed. The beef was sweet tasting and there was nothing in it but the beef. It was covered in some odd, sweet gravy and the crust was soggy. I got a burrito instead which was slightly better but same sweet beef. Not a place I will visit again.

I've had better visits here. Waited at the bar to order, no acknowledgment from the bartenders. Walk around to where the two girls were standing behind the bar, they walk away. Finally got drinks and menus, asked to be served on the deck. Was told someone would be right out to take my order. Forty minutes later, drinks are gone, I still haven't seen the waitress. Closed my tab and left. It wasn't even a busy night.

Never, ever had a bad meal here. The burgers are one of the best in Essex. Great service. A lot of locals use this place as their Go To bar. They make great drinks too. I feel totally comfortable going there a a single woman and I always sit at the bar. Year round great food!

Sandwiched between the high traffic of five corners there is a bar and restaurant that is certainly more bar than restaurant. The service is nice and the atmosphere is relaxed. Offering live music on occasions and a decent list of beer choices this is a great get together spot after work with co-workers or in the evenings with friends. I would recommend not using the main parking as this pub sits in a plaza with many a few other stores and parking fills up quickly. Additionally, traffic during rush periods makes entering the parking lot abysmal. If you are looking for great eats, then I'd recommend other restaurants. The food is clean and well cooked, but doesn't have any quality that makes it stand out among the competition. Definitely a drink first and grab a bite after, overall On Tap is a great hangout spot after that tough day in the office. Cheers!

Twas okay. Sizeable craft draft beer selection but they were out of cider except AO Rose. Lovely patio on east (shady) side of bldg. Tuesday night was live trivia night from 7 to 9 (which I just love). Menu was mainly apps, burgers, salads and sandwiches which were gourmet(ish) hence the higher than usual prices.

Spent this visit on the deck. Live music was amusingly enjoyable, seats were available but a fair number of folks were enjoying their dinners, the whiskey sour lived up to its name, and the fried pickles were plentiful and excellent with chipotle mayo. Would've done some swingdancing but couldn't find a partner this time, although I know the local 802 Westie group frequents the dancefloor. I'll be back.

This is a trendy little place that I don't much care for, personally. It's not that the food is bad, it's actually usually, pretty good. It's just not really my kind of atmosphere. The waitstaff in general, and certain bartenders in particular, also aren't very welcoming to anybody who isn't a wealthy hipster. The bands that play here are usually way too loud and distorted sounding. They definitely should invest in a nicer PA and hire a professional sound engineer. It's impossible to hear yourself think when they are playing, much less hold a conversation. The outdoor patio, while beautiful, is often ignored by waitstaff unless it's busy and the weather is ideal. The bathrooms are also a little bit hard to access if you have mobility problems since there's a large threshold to traverse. It also attracts the same local, regulars, every weekend that tend to make outsiders feel uncomfortable.

Went in to eat here for the first time. It wasn't busy at all and there were multiple staff working. We sat there for 20 minutes waiting for one of them to come take our order. Even waved down one girl who was just standing there. The other girls were just talking and laughing. Finally we just walked out without ordering. Terrible.

Enjoy the live band in this atmosphere Sodapop was free to Designated Drivers which was a positive thing would go back to this Lounge if they would just turn the heat down so that way you're not sweating to death, otherwise the staff was very friendly and clean.
