We've been to this restaurant several times and we've gone up to South Central Vermont there is a very nice classic French food this time around we try the Chateaubriand which was excellent overall it's always a nice place to stream outback always offers a really nice view just a really nice place a lot of ambience

On 8/17/17 Five of us enjoyed a nice meal at your restaurant. The server was very friendly and conscientious but a higher caliber of staff is expected for the pricing. There were 4 other tables being occupied for our entire stay. Many tables remained empty yet a couple who entered the restaurant with us was curtly turned away by the hostess. They were told there were no openings when in fact this was not true. They were sent away and we remained disturbed by the cold (and dishonest) treatment they received. We will not return as a result.

We had dinner here to celebrate our anniversary. Great food, attentive service, and excellent wine list. Be sure to ask for a table by the water! The duck liver pate and rack of lamb were delicious.

Food is quite good, one of the better restaurants in the area. As for decor, its dated and reminds me of grandma's house, although the view of the creek is nice. Service was fine but could be better. As for the vibe, we came on a Saturday night and I couldn't help but notice that all the patrons seemed be to be 50s-60s. Also, the menu is pricey (entrees $30-$40).

We are regulars for good reason. The food is extraordinary and the setting is extra special with a rushing stream behind the restaurant with ice and snow in the winter or fall colors or summer.
