We really like the food at this restaurant and we continue to go and order take out but we question why. Many times when we arrive home the food is cold and many times the order is wrong. My husband literally just waited an hour for our take out order . He finally got home at 8 PM so we could eat. If they could just tighten up their customer service we’d go more often and order more often.

How did you get a delivery? They don't deliver, And I've never had rubbery crust. They are worth the drive to go pick it up yourself. The food at Mimmo's is fantastic. The pizzas are wonderful. The pasta dishes are great. The soups will warm you up on a cold winter's day. The salads are crisp and fresh and the dressings are homemade and delicious. And, if you eat there, the atmosphere is warm and inviting - especially if you get an Italian Opera Serenade. I recommend Mimmo's to everyone. MMMMmmmmm.

Best New York-style pizza in northern Vermont. Really terrific. Also a good place for a sit-down meal that's reasonably priced. The pasta and calzones are all great, as is the chicken parm. One note: it's good to go at a slightly-off-peak time because it seems to be very popular. They are great at pushing through pizza for take out at any time but if you need a seat you're going to have competition.

Nothing special. Gave this place a try. Pizza was decent but so expensive! Very small pizza 13 dollars?! Both subs were very bland no flavor. I don’t like spice but some flavor is a must. Orders Steak and cheese and chicke parm. I was looking at the reviews and read the same thing. Staff was friendly but the prices and subs need improvement. There was an issue with their credit card machine when I picked up my order. My food was ready but they needed to reboot their machine so I needed to wait to pay. Although they were very apologetic, I feel like giving the customer a discount off the bill for the inconvenience or maybe a free bottle of soda/water for waiting an extra 5-10 min would be fair. For a first time customer didn’t make the best impression. Unfortunately Unsure if we will return.

Waited 70 minutes to get food... three tables came ok got their meal, paid and left before we got ours. Wouldn't have gotten it then if we hadn't flagged down our waitress. When we shared our displeasure with the manager he shared that they made an error in preparing our order and since we were busy talking they figured it was not an issue. DAH Mr. Manager what were we supposed to do while we waited 70 minutes for pizza. Apparently customer service in your restaurant doesn't include common curtisty...

Scam artists! In 3 different spots on the way to the table was a promotion offering a free glass with the purchase of a certain beer, while supplies last. I specifically asked our waitress if there were any glasses left for this promotion . She informed us that "of course" they were still doing the promotion and I would receive a glass. My father then decided to also order this beer. Did we receive our glasses? No! I even asked at the end of the meal, and her only response was to tell us it was a "while supplies last" deal and they had run out. THEN SHE JUST WALKED AWAY! No more discussion, no trying to smooth over her mistake. She just walked away. She is lucky we even paid for those beers at all. This might not be so aggravating if this was the first time it happened, but it's actually the second time they ripped us off. Will never go back now. Why have the signs still up if the promotion is over? Shame on them!

You would think after 4 wrong take out orders I would learn. ..... The food is good, but the failure come as they are one of the boy good pizza places in town and they are very busy Friday and Saturday with what appears to be an nexperienced staff. Also, It appears no one is required to wear a hat while preparing food and with that you will inevitably get hair in your food. Also if you orderizza n a busy night for take out you must check it before leaving. Most likely it is the wrong one. They are good people with pretty good food, but it’s too hard to look past the failures over and over.

I'll keep this short. The pizza here is EXCELLENT. Great ingredients, great value. Pizza is just as good if not better then Bertuccis or anything you would find in the North End in Boston. (for you non-Bostonians, the north end is our little Italy.) Lots of options also if you don't want pizza. if you like Pizza and Italian cuisine, you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I go to mimmos quite often. Yesterday we went and I ordered the lunch special with gluten free pasta. I got about a cup of cooked(not quite done) pasta and five shrimp. I can't have the bread because of my celiac. They charge $3.00 extra for the gluten free pasta. I asked if I could have a small salad instead of the bread-no. So I ended up paying $15.25 for a small serving. Ok. The waitress came over and said " Wow, I can't believe you ate that much so fast." I was shocked and insulted. I won't be going back. I send lots of people there but not anymore.

Great local spot. Friendly service, although can be a bit newer servers that cycle through in this area. The pizza is pretty good, thin crust style, I like the Simone's, Lasagna, and Tropical specialty pizzas. Their calamari is pretty good and lighy crisp breading, their marinara sauce is nice and fresh tomato flavor and just enough garlic and other seasoning. Recommend the tiramisu for dessert and espresso to cap it off.

Went to Mimmo's for lunch before going to see a movie. Sat outside to eat. Food was excellent as was the service. Sometimes when you sit ouside at a restaurant they forget about you. That did not happen. It was wonderful!

Food:Average. Service: Clueless. If you were a waiter and you spilled your patrons' drinks on the table, wouldn't you wipe it up? Wouldn't you notice when drinks are empty? When there were no napkins? I had to get up twice to get service. The food was OK. Nothing to write home about, though. There's better places in town.

Having read so many positive things about this place I decided to give it a go and also I was craving some good pizza. I was not disappointed and got to eat a superbly tasting pizza in a nice atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and friendly and my server in particularly was very helpful and friendly. I had the focaccia for starters and a pizza to follow. Both were excellent.

Nice variety on menu. But what is on the menu is not what you get on your plate. I like Bolognese when it is done right. Bolognese says it should have creamy, pink sauce. I don't see any creamy. I don't see any pink. It was very greasy, hardly could be called even red sauce. I ordered it 3 times over the months, thinking maybe it was a new cook in training. 3 strikes is the end of it.

Excellent Italian food. The garlic bread was the best I've ever had. I also had the pasta Bolognese. I couldn't believe how good it was, if you haven't tried this restaurant before I recommend you give it a try. I found it by mistake when driving the the outdoor store complex in essex junction at dinner time looking for something completely different and decided to give it a try. I will absolutely go here again when I'm back in the area.

Extreamly unhappy and not sure if i will go back. I will be calling them tomorrow with this complaint. I took my mom out to eat after she had sergery. Had to wait 20 for the lady to even come ask us what drinks we wanted. Since we already knew what we wanted we told her the pizza we would like (meat lovers small) a appetizer (mozzarella sticks) and pir two sodas. 10 minutes later we got our soda and one was half full. 10 minites later the lady came over and told us they didnt have everything to make the pizza that i woild either have to have pepperoni or cheese. Meanwhile the lady making salads and sandwiches is picking on my mother and laughing about her with her other coworkers. Extramly rude and unprofessional. I kept my cool then finally got out appetizer 10 minutes later along with our pizza. We had to sit there and eat while being laughed at and picked on by a blonde little girl that works there.

Ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and garlic knots. An hour after eating, my household is all sick to their stomach, throwing up and etc. The pizza was absolutely caked with whatever the sauce they put on it. After taking a look back at the chicken on the pizza, it is severely undercooked. The garlic knots were bland, had little specs of garlic powder on it, no butter, no garlic, no salt. Just specs of garlic powder. Insanely dry and unpleasant. This was absolutely terrible. I do NOT recommend to anybody, atleast until their cooks are properly trained and actually have a passion for cooking, and not just throwing stuff together and getting customers sick!

Great place for a meal. Food is always good. I've only once had a mediocre meal here. Staff was attentive and friendly, as usual, but not constantly hovering. There when we needed them and not over our shoulders when we didn't. It can get loud at times, like Friday and Saturday evenings, but this was a fairly quiet meal on a Monday early afternoon for lunch.

June 2017- I've decided to move on from this restaurant. I'm tired of stray hairs in my food and I'm tired of getting someone else's pizza home only to discover that they gave me two much less expensive cheese and a pepperoni pizza's. I was a regular here, but no more. I called them and instead of pulling up my account and saying we will comp you or better yet deliver you the correct pizzas they just said you can bring those back and will cook you new ones. How can you tell kids it will be another hour (it's already 7 pm) .? If this was the first time it happened I wouldn't write this, but I am tired of the cooks and preparers not wearing hats to catch their hairs and tired of the wrong pizza. Edit...Nov. 2, 2017 @5:45 We decided to stop in because we were without power and they were close. Big Mistake! We were seated over looking the sandwich prep area . One girl was using gloves on both hands , but the other was wearing one glove and when the owner was near she only used that hand to fix the sandwich. As soon as he walked away she scratched her ear and head and moved lettuce onto the sandwich with the bare hand that she was scratching with. Needless to say this is gross. My club soda had a small fly in it. At first I thought it was a black crumb, but I removed it and discovered it resembled a flea, but I'm not sure it was. I just know it was a bug. My food was hot so I'm sure it would kill off any bad things, but my kids pizza had a hair in the pizza. It wasn't very long and I think it was a mans hair. My kids are blond and this was black. We are finally done here-power or not.

GOOD FOOD, TERRIBLE SERVICE We arrived to an empty restaurant--two other tables were seated, with one other seated just after us. 55 minutes later we asked for our food to go. Here's the thing: I worked in restaurants (Italian family-owned) my whole adolescence. I get that sometimes it gets unexpectedly busy and suddenly you're in the weeds. But when that happens, and the couple with the two small children (who were well behaved, much to my surprise) asks for their food to go because they can no longer keep the children from becoming unstable, you don't charge them full price. You give them free garlic bread, perhaps. Or a coupon for next time. Or something...anything, besides making your waitress stutter apologies on behalf of the owner or manager. We weren't rude. We didn't even complain. But we won't be going back. As someone who cut their teeth doing exactly this, I know that's not how you treat people. You don't have to break the bank to make people feel appreciated.

Great quick dinner spot! We received our tasty appetizers (calamari & mozzarella sticks) quickly, and our dinner arrived just as we finished up. Perfect timing! I ordered the Alfredo with shrimp and fettuccine noddles. The sauce was so good! Our waiter Alan, was great! He was attentive, sweet, and on top of everything we needed. Will be back soon!
