Joy Wah has finally been restored to it's former glory, and by that I mean the food is once again superb! Many thanks to the new owners for working hard to bring things back up to the Hom's high standards. The pan fried pork dumplings, crab rangoons, and General Tso's chicken are my absolute favs! Will definitely be stopping here again during future Vermont visits!

Food Is Prepared fantastically, everything taste fresh and yummy, not. I ordered General Tso Chicken, and it was really really good. I have one thing is why I didnt give it 5 Stars, the chicken was more chewy than I wanted it to be. I Know general tso is dark meat prepared but its just very chewy and not so enjoying half way through when you are still chewing on chicken. But the Sauce and the presentation and the egg roll, was very very good.

This was possibly the greatest meal I have ever eaten. The second the wanton soup broth hit my tongue my life was changed. If I was on death row and had to ask for one last meal it’d be this. The chicken lo main and pork fried rice was amazing and the beef tray is life changing.

We went for dinner, our first visit to Joy Wah since the original management. It was terrific. The menu was largely the same, and I ordered my favorite, Kaung Bao shrimp with cashews, made extra spicy. It was wonderful, and spicy enough to make my nose run a little. Service was excellent, and the view of the Connecticut River from the porch dining area was as great as it has ever been. Prices very reasonable too. Will go again soon.

Excellent. Friendly staff and great food. The service is very good, and the atmosphere is close to cozy...even if you eat out on the porch. There is a great view of the Connecticut river.

After seeing racists posts and hate speech being used by an employee named Kassidy Briere at Joy Wah, I will not be returning or recommending to friends. I cannot in good conscious support a place that makes me and others feel unsafe which is a shame because I did enjoy the food. With so much negativity in the world right now we can use a little more love and a little less hatred.

Never got sick off the food during the original ownership. Tonight I did. Worries me that I got sick while pregnant. The food needs to be hot when it comes out. Bathrooms were clean. Service was good.

Tasty, hot, fresh, traditional Chinese food. Setting is a bit dated and rough, but service and food are excellent. Definitely a step or two above the standard urban Chinese place. Recommended if you're in the area.

Food was pretty good, the chicken in the moo shu was a little weird tasting but edible. I payed $61 for takeout and didn’t get my whole order. I was excited about my boneless spare ribs but got another container of white rice instead. That’s a $9 loss. Not the end of the world but I probably won’t order from here again. I’m not big on paying for things I don’t get...too bad this place was amazing back in the day. Marco Polo it is from now on! So if you’re getting takeout be that person and pull all the food out and check it before you leave!

My family goes here for holiday dinners. It's under it's original ownership once again. There are great views of the Connecticut River and Fall Mountain. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. It is standard American Chinese food, but it there are healthier choices on the special menu.
