This place does not have handicap eccable bathrooms I saw a guy lifting a person out of his wheel chair because he could not fit through the doors!! Service is good though . Just fix your bathrooms!

This was a chance stop. We were off to Wellington and decided to stop for breakfast. I had the special, pineapple upside down pancakes. My life will never be the same. No clue why I never thought of this before but dear lord, I now feel I have found my secret gem in life. No need for syrup, they are just right!!! My parents has omelets and they looked amazing. They raved about the food as well. Lots of meat in the omelet and the marble rye was delicious. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the crisp morning air. I cannot wait to take my husband when we go to see his parents!!!

I only gave 1 star because giving 0 stars wasn't an option. The French onion soup was great but everything else was terrible. Our waitress (who of course was the manager) didn't check in with us at all so when my husband received a hot dog with "chili" on it that was completely inedible, and my portobello sandwich bread was wet and soggy we couldn't even send it back because the waitress (carol I believe her name was) completely ignored us. Then the bill was almost $50 for food for 3 people that we couldn't even eat, I asked to speak to a manager and the manager was our "waitress " And made it out like I was trying to get out of paying my bill. Which I did pay in full but I have never in my life left a restaurant so dissatisfied and feeling like I was robbed.

Nice little, cozy place. Food is good and well priced. Bathrooms are small, single person, clean, but no changing tables. Parking is all around the building. Outdoor and indoor seating.

Jensen's, a long time local favorite, serves good food at good prices. It has an outdoor seating area for warm weather dining and a wood stove for those chilly winter days. I love to take my kids here for breakfast!

A decent place to eat. The fried chicken was pretty good - not "down south" good, but good nevertheless. Sides were also not bad. But in all honestly it's all nothing to get too excited about. Bennington is a small town with somewhat limited choices so Jensen's is a good place to visit.

I'm from bennington and I would like to say that Jensen Restaurant is a good place to eat. They have always treated me great and I would stop there twice a month for fried chicken dinner to take to my dad at the Vets home. I do recommend to stop by.

We came during peak foliage on a Sunday morning...It was very busy and the waitresses all seemed overwhelmed..Food was average at best...We both ordered our eggs over medium and they served us over easy runny eggs as you can see!!..Its saving grace was the atmosphere...Very family friendly and nice roomie tables..Comfie and inexpensive, but a little off.

Jensen's is a classic diner, like many the menu is full of options and sides that come with classic meals. I opted for the clam strip which were very good. My boyfriend got the haddock and it was less than pleasent the fish was in a pool of water and had ZERO flavor. Because of the slow service we didn't have a chance to ask for something else. Between the service and the fish I don't think I would go back.

Feb 24 , 2018...fried chicken was only warm and very dry..Obviously precooked.absolutely not freshly made and tasted like left overs. Sat by wood stove and waitress squeezed behind me rather than walk In aisle to serve next table. Menus were tossed to us. Went here based on reviews...not worth the visit..very disappointed. Cheap price and terrible food.
