Worst experiment EVER. The food was nasty and cold and the waiter made us wait 15-20 minutes before he gave us our bill, when he knew we were done eating (they were not busy AT ALL). Our bill was $18.25 and we paid them $18.25 because the experiment was horrible and the waiter was throwing a fit because we didn’t leave him a tip and he wouldn’t let us leave without leaving him a tip and he was shouting it through out the whole place and embarrassing us in front of everybody because we wouldn’t leave him a tip. We have NEVER been treated like that ever before and will NEVER go back.

Every time I go here the staff is very kind , they have great work ethic. The buffet has a great selection of food you can eat. But i wouldn't recommend eating here on the weekends because of the high rates. A family of 3 can eat here for 30.00 dollars Monday thru Thursday. Whereas, Friday thru Sunday a family of 3 will eat for 39 to 45 dollars...

Very good for price! Excellent selection, I love the crab rangoon and spicey chicken. The soup was was not quite hot enough so I didnt give it five stars. Take out is available, staff was friendly. Definitely will be back

Their food is disgusting. I'm sorry, but it really is. Every time I've ordered from them I get meat that's flabby and fatty and taste like shrimp somehow. How that's even possible I have no idea. Everything always tastes like it's been cooked in burnt soy sauce. The food's certainly NOT delivered fresh whenever I order delivery take-out. I guarantee it because how in the hell do you get my order to me within 10 minutes or less of ordering it? One of the employees once argued with me over an order. Over rice, to be exact. Can you believe that? Rice! It was supposed to be included in the meal. When I received the order there was no rice anywhere. I called and explained this and the guy basically called me a liar. Yeah okay, sure dude, whatever you say. I'm going to lie over rice?! Seriously? Needless to say I never ordered from them again and took my money elsewhere.

4 stars for a good value. Food is fairly routine Americanized "Chinese" food. Nothing stand out, staff is friendly and accommodating. Buffet is a good value and a fair selection of choices.

The food used to be really good but lately it's gone way down hill. My order today was cold when it arrived and the chicken was loaded with fatty grizzle. I threw most of it away, total waste of money. I won't be ordering again.

This is a dirty restaurant with a lot of bugs flying all around the place. A fly even hit me on my forehead and there was also a fly in the bathroom. Poor quality food, tons of breading and hardly any meat hidden underneath the breading. The meat tastes questionable. One dessert tray looked completely destroyed all smeared up, who knows what happened to it. Sweaty stale air with no air circulation at all. This is the only Chinese buffet that I have ever been to that doesn’t have the duck sauce or plum sauce next to the egg rolls. When I asked where the sauce was, they didn’t understand English. I can only imagine what goes on in the kitchen. I honestly don’t know how this place stays in business. The locals must have very poor taste, and a very unrefined palate if they actually enjoy and frequent this restaurant.

Wow!! This place is wonderful. Went to the lunch buffet....could not believe all the selections. I completely enjoyed each selection I tried! Excellent food, unbelievable price...you can't beat $9.95 for ALL you can eat! The Waite staff was very nice & attentive! Was so good I took a box to go!!!! I would highly recommend Hong Kong Jade to all my friends & family. I intend to come here frequently!!!

Be aware this restaurant has caused many, many cases of food poisoning. Caused by their cross contamination from raw fish and beef and the employees obviously oblivious to our health codes. Customer service is equal to a bucket of nails to the face. Please chose one of Plattsburgh's many other fine restaurants and save you and your family a trip to the emergency room.

Often the smell of burnt oil is the first thing you notice when walking in and the food reflects this. the buffet is hardly restocked or freshened during off hours. it's your run of the mill, low quality, blah buffet. unfortunately, they're pretty much the only game in town now that Chen's and Golden Buffet have closed.

Food here was average, your typical Chinese buffet you can find in most towns. I doubt we will dine here in the future. We arrived around noon so food was hot and fresh and filled frequently. Service was good and friendly. The restaurant was uncomfortably warm. The booth was not comfortable, we could fill the springs and had indentations where people have sat. The space between the seat and the table was excessive.

We went on a Friday night for crab legs, they never put crab out the whole time we were there, so e never got any. This used to be an easy Four Star Chinese Buffet but in the last year or so it has gone downhill terribly. I used to brag about this place to friends we have out of town but now I would be ashamed to even bring them here for dinner. We won't be going back anytime soon.

They are supposed to stay open until 10.30 pm, but they start removing stuff before 9.30 pm. Now, 9.38pm, they removed the whole ice cream buffet. At least the price is low.

I would like to start off by saying I HATE giving five star ratings. I feel there is always room for improvement. However, I just couldn't find anything wrong with it. I got the General Tso with chicken fried rice, egg roll, and chicken fingers. It came with fried wontons, plumb sauce, duck sauce, soy sauce, and fortune cookies. Everything tasted wonderful. I am pretty picky when it comes to Chinese food, so for me to rate it this high is really saying something. Might have to have them again in the very near future.

This is the place we go out of our way to visit. We sometimes go the the States just to have a meal there. The food is amazing, all have descriptions, includes sushi and sea foods. The bar is a hidden surprise... try the zombie or ask for the oreo cookie alcohol smoothie. AND it's inexpensive... had drinks and lunch for 20$!!

This is our last time coming here (3rd fail this summer). Your name says 'Buffet', I'm paying for a buffet..so why is there only ever half of a crusty, dried out buffet available? Anyone visiting here- you'll be lucky to get a stocked selection but don't count on it being fresh. Last visit, I actually saw a female worker stop at the dessert bar, pick out a treat from the tray using her bare fingers and stuff it in her mouth right over all the food. That was gross AF and an early end to our meal that night. This place doesn't cook all of our Chinese favorites anyways so it's a waste of money when they don't keep everything full.**Don't bother going past 8:00pm either- nothing at the buffet is fresh or gets restocked AND their staff will come out, way before close, to pack up what's left of the best trays for themselves. We're pretty dissatisfied overall..3 trips in a row.

If we could give a ZERO we would. Yes we were really hungry and out of options so decided to go there. Ended up having green salad with chopped cucumbers and tomatoes because everything else was disgusting. Sticky floor and burned food.

I normally get take out, but there's always enough sitting area and they even have a privet sitting area for gatherings. I really love there food. It's reasonably priced and has a great verity, and you aren't charged extra for the sushi like the golden palace does. I Love that that they don't use green bell peppers in everything. The staff is pleasant and they do there best to keep up with having fresh food all the time.
