DESCRIPTION

Here you have the reviews of real people who know the services of Honeypie (Restaurant) in the state of Vermont.

To this day this business has a rating of 4.6 over 5 and that score has been based on 167 reviews.

You may have noticed that its rating is virtually the best one, and it is based on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can think that the score is quite reliable. If there are many people who bothered to value when they've done well with the service, it works.

You know that we don't usually bother to give feddbacks when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...

This Restaurant is included in the category of Hamburger restaurant.

The environment was inviting, staff was friendly but I found it to be fairly expensive.

Helene Leprince

Good and more original menu than your regular burger place. Lots of choices for reasonable prices. Wholesome and fresh ingredients. Service is also very warm and friendly.

I love this place!!! The Double OG is the best burger I've had since childhood, hands down! Good thing I live 30 minutes away or I'd weight 20 lbs more!!!

Dean Hernandez

Always great. Only issue is how busy it can be but, the excellent staff makes the wait surprisingly short.

Eileen Janowsky

Good food if somewhat limited menu.

Jenson Ross

Delicious burgers and fries but it also has options like lobster rolls. Best place to eat in the Stratton area.

Carrie Szlasa Dix

Robbie COLLINS

Not fancy and nearly cheerful. A kid hang-out or a hangry stopping point

Austin Charbonneau

Tom O'Brien

Best veggie burger around.

Trinity Fodor

Loved the chicken sandwich!

Eric Murtha

The best hamburgers and sandwiches in the area and in general. The Mediterranean sausage sandwich is truly awesome.

Chloe Hundertmark

Kathleen Verron

This is, bar none, the best burger I've ever eaten. Get the double burger with cheddar, lettuce, tomato, mushrooms and special sauce and prepare to be a happy camper. The fries were thin and crispy. The staff was smiling and adorable. I don't know their secret, but this joint won't be a secret for long!

thomas nevins

well they finally did something with the old gas station!!!...an open space with an order counter at one end, primarily burgers with 6 beers and 2 wines (7/32$)...looks like some outside seating for the watrmer weather out where the pumps used to be...we had a wine and a burger and a lamb burger and fries...service was pleasant and very speedy....food was great!!!! not inexpensive and no real decor....but good food pretty quickly!!!

Paige Wojcukiewicz

This place was so cute and the staff was incredibly friendly. If you get a chance to go, get a grilled cheese with kimchi. You won't regret it.

Elizabeth Lefford

Great vibe. Strong local ingredients. Loved it all.

Otto Muller-Girard, Jr.

The food was really great. The service was fast. The AC was way too cold so we had to sit outside. All in all a very nice meal but pricy. The beer and cider selections were good. I would like to come back to try some of the sausage selections. The fried chicken sandwich I had and the veggie burger the my wife had were perfectly prepared but on the small side.

Great find off mountain

Don't waste your money on lobster roll. No taste whatsoever. If my eyes were closed, would not have known what I was eating. Fried cauliflower was excellent.

Great burgers!

Josh Keshet

I recommend the hot dogs and my favorite fries

Michael Forcan

Worth a stop. Really liked the sausage wrap, the shoe string fries were done perfectly and everything was fresher than the Prince of Bel Air. Milkshakes were pretty good too, ideal spot for a quick bite. Might not.be easy to identify as an eatery when driving by as it's an old converted gas station, but def stop if you're in the area.

This is a great burger. Careful because the kimchi burger was pretty spicy. They warn you when you order. The fries are perfectly cooked and the shakes are amazing. I went back twice just forbthe burger. There are other items on the menu but why bother. I would have eaten here 3 times a day during our stay if I was able to but no breakfast here.

Katie Vasquez

Great food and staff!

Delicious food and the staff was fabulous! Azurah was working the checkout and was super helpful with all our questions and it was her sister Marjon who recommended the place for dinner! Took a big group here and we had a blast!

Dean Mahunik

Nice for a quick bite

Roxana MacMarrtin

Nice food but the place is very sterile. It is also very loud.

Paul DiMartino

First rate fast food. Excellent burgers, shakes, and fries. Owned and operated by locals who really understand food and hospitality.

Tim Taino

Very tasty local favorite. Visitors love it, too!

Bill Crowley

Venetia Greenhalgh

That might have been the best BLT, the best french fries, AND the best chocolate shake I have ever had. Worth the hour drive.

Elainna Underwood

Probably one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Fresh and yummy served on a grilled potato roll. A nice change of pace from the standard bun. I had the O.G. and my husband had the Bring It. Either one would make you very happy. Oh, and the shoestring fries were pretty awesome, too.

Garrett Calderwood

Amazing food, quick service. Go here.

Alexa Litchfield

Wonderful atmosphere and friendly people. Best food in VT

Laurie Cestnick

Best veggie burger EVER had and they carry Bernie Sanders beer ..BONUS :)

Jennifer Jacobs

What a surprise! In tiny Rawsonville VT there is a delicious, funky burger joint in a converted gas station. The food combinations are a bit unusual...and totally tasty. One of the best veggie burgers I have ever had. I'm not a big fan of shoestring fries and the menus, while creative, were kind of confusing (so 4 stars instead of 5). Their milkshakes are thick and flavorful. Really worth stopping if you are passing by, or heading there for dinner plus a beautiful drive!

D Anderson

overpriced greasy spoon built on top of old gas station tanks that emit toxic fumes.

Michael Bixby

Always great!!!

Katie Smirnova

Such good food.....and pie!

Riding the motorcycle north on Route 100, we were looking for a place with burgers and shakes when magically a giant sign appeared that said “EAT burgers, shakes, sausages, beer & wine, Takeout”. This is the place! Fresh local beef, amazing spicy special sauce and pickled red onions, shakes made with local custard, and perfectly crispy thin French fries. And the Coke is in bottles from Mexico with real cane sugar. Prices are a bit steeper than you might expect, but reasonable for the quality of what you get. Don’t be put off by the outside appearance. This is a foody’s delight. Honeypie is right at the intersection of Rt 30 and Rt 100. Don’t miss it!

Ben Cohen

To my tastebuds, it's the Vermont take on In 'n Out and Shake Shack. Better cheese and pickled onions than either of those other joints, and great non-burger options as well.

Stuart Lippsett

Best burgers & shakes!

Jay DiPietro

Seth Bergman

Delicious shakes, burgers and fries!

Dan Bischoff

Unpretentious and original burger & sausage joint in rural Vermont. I had the Vermont-as-Funk Burger, which was quite tasty. The fries were crispy, salty, and closer to the thin-side of the spectrum. All in all, Honeypie seems to be a needed and more-than-satisfactory addition to the Stratton area dining scene. The only downside I see is the pricing: it is a bit steep for the area. Judging from one burger, however, the quality food may let them get away with the aggressive price point.

I Had high hopes for this new restaurant in town, as they share the same chef with "solo farm & table" but I was utterly disappointed. I'm not here to bash anybody, my only hope is that a review like this will be a wake up call for this new place... One of the nearby shops informed me about honeypie, they couldn't stop praising this new restaurant on how amazing their sausages are, so naturally I wanted to see what the craze is all about. I walked in on a Friday afternoon with one of my friends, and decided to go with their Moroccan sausage first, and then based on how good it is, decide if we want to order other items on the menu... yes their staff looked overwhelmed for some reason, although we were the only 2 people in the restaurant at times, but that can be fixed with proper training, but where I can't and won't take any excuses is for the blandness and distastefulness of the sausage! And for some reason - although it was a steep $7.5 - I couldn't find the promised tzatsiki or beats on it... Bottom line: If you are looking for a place to relax, rejuvenate, and "maybe" get a drink this is the perfect place for you! With clean bathrooms, and a modern interior, and last but not least, siting outside under a former gas station rooftop... But if you are looking for anything related food, you came to the wrong spot! No taste in the sausage, embarrassing serving size, you are paying a steep price for nothing. I usually try to go over to discuss my concerns with those in charge, if I have time, and "only" if It looks like the chef / owner wasn't aware of the situation, and this wasn't the case here! Wesley was in and out of the kitchen the whole time, and unfortunately I had no time on my side. Again, I only hope that they take their feedback serious, and start changing things around... The restaurant is still in its first month, so it's not yet too late to get back on track. Cons: * way overpriced. * you are getting a measly thin sausage. * you can buy 4 or more sausages and you will still leave hungry, their servings are so tiny. * their prices doesn't reflect their fast food counter ordering. Pros: * clean bathroom. * spacious interior. * lots of outdoor seating. * free WiFi.

This restaurant hardly seemed like a restaurant when we walked in. It is an old gas station and had a concrete floor and somewhat poor lighting. There was room for at least half a dozen tables, but there were only two and the rest was empty space. There were some picnic tables out front. I purchased a double burger, which looked good, but when I bit into it I discovered it was extremely hot. The whole bun was soaked with hot sauce. That's not exactly something you expect when you purchase a burger. The milkshake was good, but nothing special, considering that it was 16 ounces and cost $6.

Awesome food with what my wife calls a "grunge chic" décor.

Glenn Dunn

Extraordinary.... the best burgers anywhere!!

Mike Durig

Fantastic! In town from KC for the weekend and planning on going back multiple times.

Daniel Gorbunov

Good food, the only restaurant for miles on the VT-100. The food is not amazing, however and is expensive.

Cameron Burke

This place is a joke! I don't get the hype. The single burger is soooooo small and thin it's like not even filling!!! DO NOT COME HERE HUNGRY unless u plan on ordering 3 OG double burgers...I'm serious...we were starving and heard this place was good. It was crowded and we were excited. The look on our face when we saw our burgers were sad...so small and NOTHING to it !!! Do not waste ur time...Strattons 802 Bar has AMAZING burgers!!!

Great local burger joint in a hip modern setting. The style of this restaurant would not look out of place in a young, downtown area of a city. The menu is not huge, but it honestly just makes it easier to decide what you want to get. Everything there tastes good so you can't really go wrong with whatever you choose. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Highly reccommend.

Very Small Hamburgers for the Price

Downright delicious. Dangerously delicious. Terrific burgers and fries and the shakes are truly outrageous. If you do not eat much ice cream, forget Ben & Jerry’s, which is so mediocre these days, and get a milkshake at Honeypie. Do not miss the rhubarb/basil one as it is Holy Cow! good. And that Honey Pie, my my. So glad they are close by, a real treat one can rely on to be tasty and oh-so-fresh, a head-spinningly good burger joint.

Adam Lefford

We went there for our wedding weekend we stopped in there for a quick bite to eat the place was awesome epic food and a really good beer selection

Albert Gnadt

Tasted amazing after a long day of skiing

Andrea Buccini

If you're lucky enough to have an opportunity to try The bacon jam, do so. Their burgers are delicious, fries are perfect and crispy and their honey pie is incredible, you need to try a slice of honey pie.

Paige Gargett

Good food, higher end diner quality, but pretty cramped and crowded.

This place is great! We went there for a casual rehersal day dinner with lots of family and friends at our nephew's wedding! Congratulations Ian and Emily Shore!

Rich Alan

Tiny greasy double burger with bacon and kimchi was $9.00, the milkshake was $6.00 and came out of a machine. The burger patty was greasy and appeared to be fried on a griddle, and was (no joke) about 1/4" thick at best. The bun was totally generic like it came from Aldi or maybe Vons. One little leaf of lettuce rounded out the offering. Not much in the way of flavor from the burger. No hot sauce available, and bland packets of brown mustard or pump ketchup were the only options. No choice about done-ness either. In all fairness the milkshake was acceptable, but not great. This is a totally pretentious operation selling fast food quality food at craft/boutique prices. Decent build out, but this place is a massive let down! Both my son and I agree that In-N-Out walks all over this place in every possible way (flavor, value, vibe) not that you're getting In-N-Out on the East Coast but you get my drift. For a real burger (in Vermont) try Worthy Kitchen (or Worthy Burger) they actually "get" food there!

Small burger with a lot going on in terms of stuff on it. Bun couldn’t hold up and was wet and soggy. I thought the burger was ok. The fries were run of the mill frozen fries. Inside and outside dinning. Composting. This is a hipster place which would be tolerable if the food was up to par.

Derek Dowen

The service was fantastic and the food was better. The food came out quick, and the burgers were incredibly juicy. The fries were a large enough portion to share one serving between two people. Not a lot of space/seating but it seems to work for their style. Would absolutely recommend.

Very good burgers and fries and more, healthy soft drinks and nice folks at the corner of Routes 30 & 100 in Rawsonville VT. On top of that, they are across the street from Fran's diner, the best breakfast restaurant in the area, with great lunches and more really nice people, especially Fran. Great synergy. Between the two, they filled a quality and reasonably priced family food niche that Bondville, Rawsonville and South Londonderry Vermont sorely needed.

Mary Sue Ankner

Great sandwiches. Home made sausage, every ingredient on each sandwich seems to have been carefully chosen and perfectly prepared. I had the Vietnamese bahn mi. But would have been happy with any sandwich on the menu. Also some of the best fries I ever had.

Matt Foley

Stopped by tonight with the family for the first time. This place is awesome. Best veggie burger I have ever had, tasty matchstick fries, delicious milk shakes and great local brews on tap. Definitely worth the stop after a day at the mountain

Vinny Lang

I tried to like it. We went several times. I was just disappointed every time

Jared DeMatteis

Try everything. It's delicious

Excellent Vietnamese sausage and fries. Burgers too!

Burger are good, a little smaller the price and they don't have pickles

Anna R. White

Delish! Burgers/Fries/Milkshakes/sausages/etc- local ingredients, cool vibe, innovative use of space, kid friendly, fast, I could go on and on... Such a gem to the area.

Matt Apples

Best burger around. If you are close, make the stop - so worth it. Caramel Milk Shake is outrageous! A+

The best fried chicken I've ever had. Make sure you get the dressing on the side for the fries.

Great food!

Your basic country burger joint. Good service.

Glenn Jones

Awesome burger joint. Not a ton of places to sit. But that’s the only drawback I could find. Food was delicious and the menu was fun.

Darcy Brown

Cute little place. Just ok good. Slow service

Nao Nozawa

Perfect place to grab a late lunch after a day on the slopes! They were friendly, service was quick, and the food was great. I'll definitely drop in again the next time I'm snowboarding at Stratton! (They don't allow ski boots in the restaurant, so make sure you change out of yours unless you want to go in in just your socks.)

Kimchee on a burger, enough said.

Jim Shaw

Our Airbnb host recommended visiting here and the recommendation was spot on. The burgers here were really tasty. The special sauce they serve on the burgers has a nice heat to it. The only drawback was limited seating (we sat outside which was fine) and they are not open on Monday to Wednesday. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Janey Sweet

Great little place for lunch!

Darius Powell

Awesome people, awesome food, awesome place!

Christopher Caso

An improvement on Shake Shack. Tasty burgers and sausage, friendly staff and good beer. The best place to get a casual bite around Stratton.

Torin Tofferi

The Burgers are on the small side so order up if you're a big eater.

Diane Murphy

Excellent pie. Burgers and fries were good and the maple milkshake was awesome.

Chris Smith

Very friendly staff, short wait time for food to come out. Very good food. Loved the burger and fries. Also nice local selection of beers.
