We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend and I'm glad we did. We arrived at supper time on a Sunday evening and found the place very busy. We were seated at a table for two in some very comfortable leather chairs. We had a beer each and made our order. I had farm style, fresh haddock filets baked with milk & butter and my lady had the Chicken n' Biscuits both great choices and delicious. This was rounded off with an ample selection from the open salad bar. The total came to $60 including drinks, tips and tax. Lastly I want to add that the service was friendly, helpful and efficient. It was an excellent experience. I'll be going back. I want to try their Sunday Breakfast Buffet.

It was a great place with great food and a great view. Don't stop here for a quick bite. I don't know if it was just the day but we waited 45 minutes for our food to come out and it was after the lunch rush. The wait person did apologize with a free desert which was nice.

Took my wife for a birthday dinner and they were out of clams. We were told well after the fact. So 2 salad bars one was supposed to be included in a meal and 2 lemonades total $18.00. A seafood restaurant that runs out of menu items. Poor ordering of inventory items and wait staff should be up to date on what is not available from the menu.

We called ahead knowing that it would be a busy night they told us it was an hour wait we showed up 40 minutes later and they told us they didn't even have us on the list an it would be probably another 45 minutes. This wasn't the first time the wait time was extended. Thankfully excellent alternative places in the neighborhood

Dropped in on Saturday night, and expected fairly long wait. Initially we were told 15-20 minutes. After 45 we noticed that the hostess clearly made a mistake seating groups in front of us. As we pointed out this clear error, she said "I know what I'm doing, I've been here 20 years." She also told my wife that she was being rude. Even if that was the case, which it wasn't, you're in the restaurant business. That certainly isn't the way to deal with an upset customer. Never got to taste food, and never will. Judging by other reviews maybe this hostess should be addressed.

Really subpar. They started cleaning up during our dinner at 7:30 which incl.uded dragging chairs around and talk of using the vacuum, which thankfully was broken. The drink specials tasted really bad. I got croutons in my salad after I mentioned I couldn't eat gluten.

Very disappointing. -1 We were traveling home after visiting Quebec City and thought that this looked like a nice place to eat and take a break as we had a long ride ahead. The view of the lake is nice. However, the food was mediocre at best and the service was nonexistent and apathetic. There was no care or attention to detail extended. And there was no excuse because the restaurant was practically empty. It took forever for the food to be served. The food was not hot, tasted just ok, but pedestrian. The salad came after the fact when we were almost finished with our meals, and with no dressing. And we had to wait another ridiculous amount of time for the salad dressing to come. The greens were wilted, the ravioli was undercooked. And all this for $47? What little staff was there, kept walking away from us. You're better off going to the local Hoagie shop and saving the money.

Make Reservations! We love this place for all the reasons given in the reviews before this one. BUT even with reservations you might not get seated. Has happened to us twice! So my advice make your reservations but have a back up plan. When your there check out the bakery and gift shop the items offered make great gifts or keepsakes.

This place has the potential of being a great restaurant they fall short big time in the salad bar, old worn out food and ideas. Wrapped crackers with some old port cheese come on. And the dishes are worn out and dirty looking not to mention there tables have not been scrubbed clean but well decorated and my seafood ravoli was great.

What a great place that I truthfully stumbled open somewhat by chance. I was kn the way back down to New York from Quebec And it was one of the first places that popped up when looking for a good meal. The service was top notch and the staff was a delight. My waitress was a tad pushy initially on if I wanted drinks but I insisted otherwise and after a couple mentions she just let it go. I had steak with rice and poutine and everything was exceptional so my compliments to the chef. The ability to eat from the salad bar as much as you want was also a great perk as I was pretty hungry. Definitely worth a five star rating and if I ever find myself in the area again I’ll be paying them a visit. Oh, and the gift shop on the other side of the entrance is also really neat for quick souvenirs.

Found this place in the last second while searching for a place to have dinner. The view from the porch overlooking Lake Memphremagog at sunset is absolutely amazing. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The food didn't disappoint either. Generous portions and reasonable pricing make this place great for any occasion. There were families with kids, couples of all ages on romantic dinners, larger groups - they all seemed to be having a great time. Our new favorite spot in the area. Thank you!

The food was delicious, the environment appealing, and staff friendly. Loved that it felt like you could dress up for a fancy dinner or go there with the family and not stand out either way. The only thing that could have made it nicer would be that some area could be a little bit quieter dining if your not specifically going for the live music and wanted to talk without feeling like your yelling. Otherwise a very enjoyable experience and definitly plan to return.
