Everyone was super friendly. Our waitress Charissa was very friendly and explained the Waygu Burger to us with lots of detail. I ordered a apple martinibut it didn't taste like I normally have. She made every effort to make me happy. Sherry came to the rescueand it was perfectly made. I would definitely recommend Coleman Brook Tavern to anyone that visits your area. Thank you all for a great experience!

Awesome lunch!

We went for dinner yesterday and had lunch (just due to convenience) today. There are not too many choices at Jackson Gore resort if you don't want to drive into town. Food was average. Menu was ok, it was a bit hard to pick. We ordered 2 ravioli, pasta Bolognese, trout, one beer, and 2 cups of veggie soup. The bill was $136 before tip. Trout was over dried, ravioli were scarce, veggie soup was way too sweet, pasta Bolognese was below average. We had a much better experience during lunch. We had salmon BLT, mac & cheese (adult and kids versions), and chicken pot pie. All were good. So, 3 for dinner and 4/5 for lunch. Eating more based on dinner due to huge bill after tip for mediocre food.

Upscale atmosphere with a family vibe. Local menu artfully presented, and delicious!

Great food and service, but it is a little pricey.

Was very underwhelmed by the food. The greens in the salad I ordered weren't close to fresh. The mushroom risotto had a minimal amount of mushrooms. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but it definitely wasn't worth the price we paid.

Went there for dinner, ordered a welldone burger (only burger on menu by the way, spouse ordered medium , took 40 minutes, waitress told be after 30 minutes they were getting it. Finally after 40 minutes, got our food . I put mayo on mine , bit into it and it dripped blood . NASTY ! VERY UPSETTING! sent it back ...didnt want it recooked...

We were a group of four. Extremely slow service. Waited thirty minutes to place order and had to walk in and ask if someone was going to take it. Waited another forty minutes for food to arrive. Simple order, four burgers medium well. Two arrived medium raw. Sent one back and never heard from waitress again. Hostess was very nice about adjusting our check.

Was recently there for an event. Was a tad pricy for what was offered on the limited menu. Also, when we paid our bill in cash, all that was returned to us was the currency, never got the change. Guess that was the tip.

Jay Choksi

Very expensive and sub standard service. The bartender didn’t know any drinks on menu and would look at recipe and make it and wouldn’t even know where the liquor are stored.

Ben Wilkinson

A 'refreshing' take on a tried (tired) and true aquatic experience. A tasteful yet unassuming glass of 33° delight. Nine cubes is a daring take on ice, but definitely hit the mark.

Good food and service. I've been there for lunch and dinner while skiing, and also dropped by in the summer. Their special holiday meals are worth it. I especially like the friendly Maitre d'hotel. As some of the other commenters noted, this place is not fast. If you want a quick meal, try the Roundhouse next door.

Pretty bad. Long wait for table and the place was empty. A 9pm close this time of ski season? Waitstaff wanted nothing to do w us. Wayy over priced..I get that you want to go home but its 830 and I paid almost $30 for a piece of cod....c'mon

Decent menu and good food. Service is typical resort style. It depends on who they can find to work in the off season.

The service was nothing to write home about.

Unfortunately the only thing we enjoyed was the blueberry lemonade..The 2 burgers that were ordered med/well were so over done, that neither if us finished more than half of it..the kids got steak off the childrens menu that was over cooked in the manner, well done & very dry..the waitress was very nice, but seemed overwhelmed. There wasn't much of a crowd, so I'm not sure what to blame on overdone meals or the cold french fries..but steak & burgers are cooking 101 in my opinion.. Also a bit expensive, but that wouldn't be an issue if the food was even decent.. Sorry

We stayed for a wedding at jackson Gore. We had a very nice time because we entertained each other. Everything at resort was closed, we just wanted to relax anyway. But WOW. This restaurant was not at all what it should be for the price. The waitress. WAS AWFUL! I referred to her as space cakes. You would ask for something and then 15 minutes later she would come check on the table. Ask again and you get, Oh wow I'm sorry i always forget when i walk back to the kitchen. Your right because I'm not sitting here with a 40 dollar meal and a 10 dollar glass of wine and you forget my steak knife. Jeez it was bad. We were one of 3 tables in the restaurant. Also the host. Thankful for her. Got us all water because the server was MIA. Food was eh. Sauce on my steak completely ruined the flavor. I will give then two stars simply because it wasn't the managements fault or the support staff.

It’s about two stars for value, but if you know what you’re in for it’s free or even four stars. The ribeye steak was good and actually cooked medium-rare, as ordered. The French onion soup was good, as was the salad. Everything is about 25 percent more than I’d expect based on other restaurants. The service is very friendly and we never ran out of water, but we were tucked away around a corner and they seemed to forget about us when we wanted the check and we had to get search them out. I’m told the wine was good, a red that obviously didn’t need to be chilled, unlike a previous reviewer’s chardonnay. The armchair seating is comfy but sort of hard to eat and also to talk, as you’re a couple of feet away from the table. The bathrooms are outside the restaurant in the hotel lobby, which is a little weird. A lot of people come with little kids and they’re very good at handling that. There are also patrons who speak a lot of different languages, and they seem to have no difficulty. I’m short, slowish service, adequate food, overpriced. But they’re open on holidays, so they might be among very few choices.

Still can get a Ludlow martini!

The only explanation is that they employed someone specifically to ensure that nothing had any flavor at all. They were out of gnocchi (not sure why when there was barely a soul dining there), so I got the Pho. Basically, it was a bowl of salt water with half-hearted noodles and weird stringy vegetables. My wife got salmon which was somehow both raw and flavorless. Worst of all the bill was $65. Would have been better off at McDonald’s.
