This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Mexican restaurant.
Good food similiar to thw Chipotle amd Qdoba styles, but with it's own flair. Great steak and mushroom quesadilla.
Quality semi-quick Mexican/American food, Pleasant staff, and reasonable cost. The salsa was real good.
Staff is helpful and fast. Food is delicious. Best Mexican in town. Try the pulled pork soft taco, wow!!
Good food!
Avoid run away rather gross and scary.
Not really Mexican food, we could not find healthy options as they advertise
The food here is fine. What the food Luann's on seasoning it makes for by being cheap and clean. Good place for a quick meal but nothing special worth going to with intention.
Food was okay tasting, the amount of food you get for the money though was great, just wish I could have customized the taco to my liking.
Great Food and Service always happy with my food and service
Was not impressed with the food.
This is a great local and fresh alternative to Chipotle. Best as grab and go - not much charm to dining in! Try the stuffed jalapenos!
The food was good, a little more fast foodie then I expected..
Food is always good and the staff has always been super friendly
Yummy food, awesome portions, very good variety of choices
Soooo good. It's doesn't have the same atmosphere as the downtown Burlington location, but it's the same delicious food. I recommend the steak quesadilla. The portions are large. The burritos are tight too. The size of dino eggs. Only critique I'd give is that they got this dank corn salsa that you get at little self service area but they are out of it quite a bit
I am a big fan of Moe's but I was curious about Bueno. Bueno is slightly more expensive and their burritos are a bit smaller. Plus, they charge for chips...at Moe's they are free. The salsas at Bueno were in fact very good, the burritos on the other hand just O.K..the tacos above average.
We always enjoy our experience here. The staff is usually very friendly and accommodating. The food tastes like my Dad's or my Grandma's from Puerto Rico. It is not uncommon for me to tear up because it's so good it brings be back to great taste memories. Reasonable and delicious.
Interesting off beat faire.
Solid food at a good price. Highly recommended.
Decided to try something new... Not sure we'll be going back. When we ordered chips and guacamole, the cashier plunged his bare hands into the bin of chips in order to bag them, despite the fact that he had just been handling money. Then, he proceeded to overfill the container of guacamole, which he "fixed" by using a nearby rag to wipe the extra guac off the container. He then used the same rag to wipe down the counter. Either of those things independently would've been eyebrow-raising, but put together, it made us question the food-safety of our entire meal. Sadly, to be on the safe side, the chips and guac went straight in the trash when we got home.
Love Bueno y Sano. Fresh ingredients, fast and delicious. Never had a bad meal there and the servings are large.
I got the Thai burrito as a bowl, comes in a small plate. My mistake for ordering Thai food at a Mexican restaurant but would not suggest it. I usually think you can't go wrong with peanut sauce but I have been proven wrong. I gave them a three stars because I have been to other Bueno y Sano that are amazing but this was sad.
Fresh made, we've had good dining here.
Excellent food ,friendly employees, best grilled jalapenos in town.
Mmmmm. Delicious. I got a buff-chick taco, and it was delicioso.
Quick service I had the Thai burrito wasn't very warm, ok not sure if I would go again
Excellent fish tacos, and the service was quick and friendly. Ingredients were very fresh and well prepared. I'll definitely be back often.
Their pork is perfectly seasoned, i can't get over it. My boyfriend had the east west burrito and he's in love. Stopped here on a drive up to Montreal years ago and the detour today was worth it.
Not very clean (silverware and plates specifically)...
Decent burritos and tacos...good, but not over the top, the salsas on the other hand are very good. The place is super clean and the service friendly and pragmatic.
Good and clean is the emphasis. Tasty is not. Bland Mexican- ish food.
Excellent burritos
I guess I went in with high expectations, didn't read any reviews or anything. Headed in on a Saturday evening after hockey with my wife and I wasn't impressed with the cleanliness. Floors were dirty and the woman at the register was less than impressed with us walking in the door. The menu was oddly located but whatever. I ordered a steak burrito and chips and salsa (which was extra
Food was fine, staff was very friendly and helpful with questions we had. We visited in late August at a time that was not during the dinner rush. However, the soda machine area was in disarray, soda spilled, some cups with soda near the 'clean' cups, tables were dirty and we had to wipe down a table for our family to sit at. The salsa/sauce area was very messy with sauce all over the counter part. I would not visit this location unless they bring up their standards of cleanliness. There was no reason one of the staff members could not take a couple of minutes to do a quick cleaning.
They customized my chicken quesadilla (with spinach, mushrooms, and no beans or rice). It was oozing and delicious. My only complaint was that the plate was way too small - had to eat it as finger food (see: oozing). Sunday afternoon, laid back crowd, enjoyed it.
Food and service excellent
YUMMY! Quality food. Pricing worth the quality & quantity. Quick service. Kid friendly. Locally owned.
Expansive, open seating is good for dining alone or in groups. We like the basic bean burritos, although the casadilla and breakfast burritos are good too. Nice selection of salsa, but the hot one is genuinely
Great burritos, especially the Thai burrito.
Great place for a quick bite. Excellent burritos. Not much on atmosphere though.
No bueno, y malo. $10 burrito that takes 35 mins to make...you're better off at Taco Bell in St. Albans.
Loved the burrito bowl. Ambience was welcoming. Although I wanted to try out the Sietan and Tofu bowl.. but they were out. :( .. so instead I had spinach and garlic veggie bowl. Check out the pics :)
No Bueno I’ve tried Bueno Y Sano three different times since they opened in the Blue Mall on Dorset Street all with the same disappointing results. Each time I ordered a chicken taco on corn tortilla and 2 beef tacos on flour tortilla. Both were to be dressed with their hot salsa and sour cream. They consistently left off the sour cream on all and only the chicken taco had the hot salsa on it. Also it took like 15-ish minutes to receive the order. Finally when the steak taco was made it was cut in half and called two separate tacos. At $15.00 it isn’t inexpensive to eat here. About the only saving grace was the corn salsa on the salsa bar. It was fiery spicy and delicious. I left here disappointed.
First time going. Was really excited. My burrito tasted like blueberry and my husband said his tasted like coffee. The beans in the burritos taste awful. We were not a fan and could not continue eating our food. When my children were full, we tried finishing eating their chicken quesadilla which was VERY dry. On the upside, their chips were amazing.
Good food, not the cleanest location. Recommend going downtown if you can.
Nice salsas and range of veggie options. Good value for money.
I paid $10 for this tiny burrito?
Fantastic and well priced food!
Always good but so busy today they didn't have fish or pork left!
Love this place! My favorite is the chicken and spinach quesadilla. Service is always great and the food is fantastic. I've abandoned Moe's completely since discovering this little gem. :)
It was wonderful. People were helpful to place was very clean
Went to this location because my wife had eaten at the West Springfield, MA Bueno Y Sano and loved it. We were there at lunchtime on Saturday and the place was surprisingly not very busy. The guy at the counter was friendly and pleasant. When our number was called I noticed my order was wrong. (It was supposed to be a bowl and not in a shell.) I mentioned it to the guy preparing the food and received this response "It didn't say that on the ticket" and went back to working on the next ticket. No offer of making athe order right. Heck how much trouble would it have been to have opened the shell and taken the contents and put it on a plate? The food, that was supposed to be mild was all spicy and I would have complained but you know "It didn't say that on the ticket". All and all we walked from this experience disappointed
Another medicore Mexican place. Not bad. Not great.
Pretty good! Spicy BBQ pork burrito was tasty.
Local crew doing incredibly tasty food. Staff is slightly unrefined but I get the impression they're owner/operatering their hearts out. No questions its better than a Moes or Chipolte, give it a shot. Thai burrito with chicken... Its rad.
Good guac, tofu and cheese quesadilla. The rice was dry. So dry.
Delicious Mexican food, and great portions
Great American-Mexican joint in the style of Chipotle/Moe's/Boloco (most like that last one, which is a good thing). Only thing keeping this place from five stars is the salsa. It has good flavor but has been pureed beyond texture. A nice chunky option would make this place perfect.
Okay
Loved this place upon first visit. Then decided it's a happy medium comparatively for the area. Somewhere above Moe's in quality, and less-annoying atmosphere than Moe's. Simple and not pretentious or overly fancy like other Burlington Mexican eateries.
Great food good prices. Friendly service
Friendly staff, fresh cooked food, needed a little salt.
Cheap and fast yummy American Mexican eats
Excellent, if not traditional burritos. Very fresh ingredients. Try the spicy bbq pork, or the onion and mushroom.
Love this place
The closest comparison would be Chipotle. It's anglo version of Mexican food. It is pretty good. And service was ok. Would try again
Good food, but a bit pricey
Food at Bueno is usually fairly good. The service is fine....they do get busy around lunchtime and it's slower. But I've noticed the lack of cleanliness that's disappointing; dirty tables, sticky floors and the bathrooms are....well, I won't go into that. Hope they get either better detailed management or more employees.
I got the chicken burrito with guacamole and it was tasty overall. Not a bad place to grab and go. Although I wish they had other bean options as I'm not a fan of black beans.
I didn't feel like it was that great
It's just fine. Food is not the best. Price is good but portions are smaller compared to other Mexican restaurants. Staff is cool
It's nothing spectacular. Although, the guac is good.
The pork burrito was amazing
A nice, health conscious alternative to Moe's and other area Mexican restaurants. They have weekly specials. Parking g us plentiful at the Blue Mall. Recommended!
Quality food at a reasonable price. Tastes better then moes tbh. Def coming back for more in the future.
Food is decent and they have a better than par vegetarian selection (so 2 - 4 options). The weekend service is from college kids who dont really GAF.
Love this place so much. Awesome burritos. Pleasant, kind staff. I highly recommend. :-)
Visiting the area with my husband. Stopped in here to grab something to eat because it was close to our hotel. For the money it was definitely worth it.
The food in this place is mediocre. The dishes are not what is described on the order board.
Large servings, delicious food
The food was good But it was little different from my expectation
The staff was super friendly. But, I wish I would have gone to a real Mexican restaurant. Or even Chipotle.
Didn't find this to be anything special unfortunately.
Good service and delicious, freshly made food at reasonable prices. Loved the house made chips and spinach-garlic bowl with beans and rice.
My 1st time there was beyond unimpressed due to the surly staff's attitude and it definitely showed in the barely edible burrito. Chewy, blandly seasoned steak bits that resembled fatty beef tip cuts and the rest of ingredients didn't help at all. Overpriced for such a dirty looking, gym locker room size fake Mexican quick serve eatery. Should've gotten tacos instead! Embarrassingly, I've had much better junk at Taco Bell and superior Chipotle beyond Vermont! Plus my partner's order didn't even come and the cashier seemed absent minded during our group's patronage. Either, it's Burly's wishy-washy college crowd response or Deaf customer adjustment vibes that I instantly sensed.
The food is very good fast food from local sources.
Food was delicious and the worker there named davie was awesome!
So freindly staff let us taste some sauces we are hosting visiting and wanted to try somewhere diff. Got the tai burrito bc looked really good and I sampled the sauces, didnt like it unfortunately so went back up for chicken burrito, was ok but every third bite I got a piece of chicken deff needed more meat wide had same issue with her pork one. Prices are about normal to other places similar. Does have clean place and good flavor
Food is good IF you ever get what you order. They've messed up my husband and my orders 3 times now. I don't think we'll be going back...
NO Bueno. I'll continue to go to chipotle for chicken burrito bowls. The floor was sticky and the bowls were small. The condiment section was dirty. I'm happy the rice was yellow because it almost made me forget it was tasteless. They also messed up our order and it took a few credit card swipes to get it right which made me very nervous.
Super quality ingredients
Food is delicious! Everything I try has been great. Help very friendly. Need to wipe down tables and salsa station a little more frequently. Definitely recommend!
sick sick burritos and real nice salsa options. also totally reasonable price
Delish.
Best burrito I've had in the Burlington area. It was huge, fresh, and delicious. Definitely going back soon and often.
Great food, great service!
Best Mexican inspired food I've had in Vermont. Chef's actually season the food and the flavors are packed into every mouthful. Came here for the first time today and I already can not wait to go back (maybe dinner tonight!) Highly recommend; from a past desert dweller herself.
Food all over the floor in the prep area, tables were unclean with food, and we were the only ones in there! Workers all on their cell phones. Our lunch tasted good, but it was a super dirty, unmanaged environment on a Sunday.
Food tasted fine but the seating area and bathroom were really, off-puttingly filthy. There was food on several tables and chairs, and under the tables. There was a generous spray of spilled rice on the floor in front of the garbage can where customers bus their plates. No staff made any motion to clean any of it up during the half hour we were there, so who knows how long it had been this way. It's a Sunday evening, there were like 2 other parties to serve during this time--they were not slammed. The bathroom had sticky floors and tp everywhere. Finally, the salt in the wound: in what seems to be a trend dating back to the previous location, the corn salsa was empty hours before closing and they clearly had no intention of refilling it. Is it rationed or something?
Excellent customer service and food!
Guy couldn't ring up our order correctly and when we thought he had it the food still came out wrong. If you're going to completely assemble the taco for me please use salt. Food was cooked properly but bland. Rice wasn't fresh. Sauce bar wasn't fresh and sauces weren't replenished. Probably not coming back.
Service was very slow. The protein for for my burrito bowl was burnt. Front counter guy was also running the dishwasher. As we were getting ready to leave I saw one of the line cooks come off of the line to get a bus tub and switch it with the one stationed above the trash can, bring those dishes back to the dish pit and didn't take off his gloves nor wash his hands between tasks.
Good food. Too bad they're so slow. I waited 35 minutes for a to go burrito. Not okay.
Great service good food
#vegan #mushroom #thai #burritto
I honestly was not impressed. They where out of chips when I went there. The chicken was over salted to my taste. I am not saying it was necessarily dirty in there but it didn't feel bright, inviting, or friendly. I think i might have went in with too high of expectations. I personally don't think it stands up to the competition in the fast burrito realm.
I think 2 Stars is a bit generous to be honest. I ordered a burrito with steak and I found about 10 pieces of steak. Oh and it was the upgraded size to. My wife ordered vegan meal and found meat in her dish, forgot my sour creame and the place wasnt even busy so I can't say they were just busy or something. Pretty lacking in the customer service. Was greeted with "hey boss what do you want" I know it's a bit petty but over all I did not enjoy my visit.
Food was good, but service was on the slower side. I did like the silverware in lieu of plastic forks.
I had chicken taco and thai burrito. i could have done without the taco, not knowing how big they were. my wife had chicken burrito. The food was excellent. The 4.00 taco with chicken or steak is a great lunch item. I also had the fire roasted jalapeno with cream cheese. Excellent.
Great food quick service. Always fresh n good
Great fast-casual burrito place. Much better than Chipotle/Moe's.
Steak was cooked perfect and very clean, the chef was very professional!!!
Above average food in a minimalist atmosphere, I really enjoyed the salsas. Friendly and chatty staff to boot.
Excellent taco stand. Fresh, and locally owned. Burritos are excellent, but I especially love their quesadillas. Worth going out of your way to try.
I love the fish tacos but then tried the pulled pork quesadilla. Sory, tacos. I can't order anything else now. Best quesadilla I've ever had. Every time.
Love this place! Awesome for a quick bite
I had to pay for a small baggie of chips. Food was good but the environment made the visit just OK
Food taste good but the place was bare bones, industrial and cold feeling.
